| 1 | Hybrid metal-insulator-metal structures on Si nanowires array for surface enhanced Raman scattering显示文摘Surface enhanced Raman scattering(SERS)is an efficient technique to detect low concentration molecules.In this work,periodical silicon nanowires(Si NWs)integrated with metal-insulator-metal(MIM)layers are employed as SERS substrates.Laser interference lithography(LIL)combined with reactive ion etching(RIE)is used to fabricate large-area periodic nanostructures,followed by decorating the MIM layers.Compared to MIM disks array on Si surface,the SERS enhancement factor(EF)of the MIM structures on the Si NWs array can be increased up to 5 times,which is attributed to the enhanced electric field at the boundary of the MIM disks.Furthermore,high density of nanoparticles and nanogaps serving as hot spots on sidewall surfaces also contribute to the enhanced SERS signals.Via changing the thickness of the insulator layer,the plasmonic resonance can be tuned,which provides a new localized surface plasmon resonance(LSPR)characteristic for SERS applications. | Kaichen Xu Chentao Zhang Tzu Hsiao Lu Puqun Wang Rui Zhou Rong Ji Minghui Hong | 2017 | 光电工程2017,44,2: | 6 |
| 2 | Enhancement of femtosecond laser-induced surface ablation via temporal overlapping double-pulse irradiation显示文摘This paper reports the physical phenomenon of the temporal overlapping double femtosecond laser-induced ablation enhancement at different time delays.Detailed thermodynamic modeling demonstrates the ablation enhancement is highly dependent on the first pulse's laser fluence.In the case of the first pulse laser fluence being higher than material's ablation threshold,the ablation enhancement is attributed to optical absorption modification by the first pulse ablation.While the first pulse's laser fluence is lower than the material's ablation threshold,the first pulse-induced melting leads to much higher absorption of the second pulse.However,for the case of the first pulse's laser fluence even lower than melting threshold,the ablation enhancement decreases obviously with time delay.The results of the temporal overlapping double femtosecond laser ablation of poly(ε-caprolactone)are in good agreement with the theoretical predictions. | ZHENYUAN LIN LINGFEI JI MINGHUI HONG | 2020 | Photonics Research2020,8,3: | 5 |
| 3 | Spatial and temporal variability of colored dissolved organic matter absorption properties in the Taiwan Strait显示文摘Spatial and temporal variability of the absorption properties of colored dissolved organic matter (CDOM) in the Taiwan Strait was investigated in summer (July to August of 2006) and winter (from December 2006 to January of 2007) seasons. The CDOM absorption coefficient at 280 nm (a 280 ) showed a decreasing trend from nearshore to offshore areas while the spectral slope coefficient parameter calculated between wavelengths 275-295 nm (S 275 295 ) showed an increase, indicative of decreasing aromaticity and molecular weight of the CDOM. The average a 280 in winter (1.47 ± 0.50 m 1 ) was significantly higher than in summer (1.10 ± 0.41 m 1 ), while the average S 275 295 in winter (26.7 ± 5.2 μm 1 ) was significantly lower than in summer (30.6 ± 5.5 μm 1 ), demonstrating clear seasonal variation in CDOM abundance and properties in the Taiwan Strait. A three-end- member conservative mixing model showed that local terrestrial CDOM inputs from several rivers along the western coast were small (<5%). However, the distribution of CDOM in the Taiwan Strait is mainly controlled by water mass movement [i.e., the Zhe-min Coastal Current (ZCC) and the Kuroshio Branch Current (KBC) in winter and the South China Sea Water (SCSW) in summer]. | 9 | Reconstructing avascular necrotic femoral head through a bioactiveβ-TCP system:From design to application显示文摘A variety of techniques have been used for treating avascular necrosis of the femoral head(ANFH),but have frequently failed.In this study,we proposed aβ-TCP system for the treatment of ANFH by boosting revascularization and bone regeneration.The angio-conductive properties and concurrent osteogenesis of the highly interconnected porousβ-TCP scaffold were revealed and quantified through an in vivo model that simulated the ischemic environment of ANFH.Mechanical test and finite element analysis showed that the mechanical loss caused by tissue necrosis and surgery was immediately partially compensated after implantation,and the strength of the operated femoral head was adaptively increased and eventually returned to normal bone,along with continuous material degradation and bone regeneration.For translational application,we further conducted a multi-center open-label clinical trial to assess the efficacy of theβ-TCP system in treating ANFH.Two hundred fourteen patients with 246 hips were enrolled for evaluation,and 82.1%of the operated hips survived at a 42.79-month median follow-up.The imaging results,hip function,and pain scores were dramatically improved compared to preoperative levels.ARCO stage II disease outperformed stage III in terms of clinical effectiveness.Thus,bio-adaptive reconstruction using theβ-TCP system is a promising hip-preserving strategy for the treatment of ANFH. | Yajie Lu Xiantao Chen Xiao Lu Changning Sun Minghui Li Guojing Chen Zuoyao Long Yuan Gao Haoqiang Zhang Mengquan Huang Chuanlei Ji Hongbin Fan Dong Liu Yuewen Hao Hong Wang Leilei Zhang Hongmei Zhang Jianxi Lu Zhen Wang Jing Li | 2023 | Bioactive Materials2023,,10: | 1 |

| 19 | GhWRKY33 negatively regulates jasmonate-mediated plant defense to Verticillium dahliae显示文摘Verticillium wilt,caused by Verticillium dahliae,seriously restricts the yield and quality improvement of cotton.Previous studies have revealed the involvement of WRKY members in plant defense against V.dahliae,but the underlying mechanisms involved need to be further elucidated.Here,we demonstrated that Gossypium hirsutum WRKY DNA-binding protein 33(GhWRKY33) functions as a negative regulator in plant defense against V.dahliae.GhWRKY33 expression is induced rapidly by V.dahliae and methyl jasmonate,and overexpression of GhWRKY33 reduces plant tolerance to V.dahliae in Arabidopsis.Quantitative RT-PCR analysis revealed that expression of several JA-associated genes was significantly repressed in GhWRKY33 overexpressing transgenic plants.Yeast one-hybrid analysis revealed that GhWRKY33 may repress the transcription of both AtERF1 and GhERF2 through its binding to their promoters.Protein-protein interaction analysis suggested that GhWRKY33 interacts with G.hirsutum JASMONATE ZIM-domain protein 3(GhJAZ3).Similarly,overexpression of GhJAZ3 also decreases plant tolerance to V.dahliae.Furthermore,GhJAZ3 acts synergistically with GhWRKY33 to suppress both AtERF1 and GhERF2 expression.Our results imply that GhWRKY33 may negatively regulate plant tolerance to V.dahliae via the JA-mediated signaling pathway. | Yunrui Ji Minghui Mou Huimin Zhang Ruling Wang Songguo Wu Yifen Jing Haiyan Zhang Lanxin Li Zhifang Li Ligang Chen | 2023 | Plant Diversity2023,45,3: | 0 |
