| 1 | Distribution of isotopes and chemicals in precipitation in Shule River Basin,northwestern China:an implication for water cycle and groundwater recharge显示文摘The distribution of stable isotopes and ions in precipitation in the Shule River Basin,northwestern China,were investigated to understand the regional water cycle and precipitation input to groundwater recharge.The study found that the mean annual concentrations of Ca2+,Na+,SO42–,Cl–,Mg2+,NO3–,and K+ in the basin were lower than those in other arid areas of northwestern China.The average concentrations of ions in the lower reaches of the Shule River were higher than those in the upper reaches.The results showed that the main ionic concentrations decreased with the increase of precipitation amount,indicating that heavy precipitation cannot only wash crustal aerosols out of the atmosphere,but also create a dilution effect.Cl– and Na+ in precipitation had a strong and positive correlation,suggesting a common origin for the two ions.However,the excess of Na+,combined with non-marine SO42– and NO3–,indicated that some ions were contributed by terrestrial origins.In the extremely arid regions of northwestern China,the evaporation process obviously changes the original relationship between δ2H and δ18O in precipitation,and leads to dexcess values <8‰.δ18O and temperature were significantly correlated,suggested that temperature strongly affected the characteristics of isotopes in the study area.The δ18O value indicates a dominant effect of westerly air masses and southwest monsoon in warm months,and the integrated influence of westerly and Siberian-Mongolian polar air masses in cold months.The d-excess values were generally lower in warm months than those in cold months,indicating that post-condensation processes played a significant role in the water cycle.The results provide reliable precipitation input information that can be used in future groundwater recharge calculations in the study area. | ZHAO Wei MA Jinzhu GU Chunjie QI Shi ZHU Gaofeng HE Jiahua | 2016 | Journal of Arid Land2016,8,6: | 6 |
| 2 | Folate-chitosan-gemcitabine core-shell nanoparticles targeted to pancreatic cancer显示文摘Objective:Human pancreatic cancer is one of the most common clinical malignancies.The effect of comprehensive treatment based on surgery is general.The effects of chemotherapy were not obvious mainly because of lack of targeting and chemoresistance in pancreatic cancer.This study aimed to investigate the effects of folate receptor(FR)-mediated gemcitabine FA-Chi-Gem nanoparticles with a core-shell structure by electrostatic spray on pancreatic cancer.Methods:In this study,the levels of expression of FR in six human pancreatic cancer cell lines were studied by immunohistochemical analysis.The uptake rate of isothiocyanate-labeled FA-Chi nanoparticles in FR high expression cell line COLO357 was assessed by fluorescence microscope and the inhibition rate of FAChi-Gem nanoparticles on COLO357 cells was evaluated by MTT assay.Moreover,the biodistribution of PEG-FA-ICGDER02-Chi in the orthotopic pancreatic tumor model was observed using near-infrared imaging and the human pancreatic cancer orthotopic xenografts were treated with different nanoparticles and normal saline control.Results:The expression of FR in COLO357 was the highest among the six pancreatic cancer cell lines.The FR mainly distributed on cell membrane and fewer in the cytoplasm in pancreatic cancer.Moreover,the absorption rate of the FA-Chi-Gem nanoparticles was more than the Chi nanoparticles without FA modified.The proliferation of COLO357 was significantly inhibited by FA-Chi-Gem nanoparticles.The PEG-FAICGDER02-Chi nanoparticles were enriched in tumor tissue in human pancreatic cancer xenografts,while non-targeted nanoparticles were mainly in normal liver tissue.PEG-FA-Gem-Chi significantly inhibited the growth of human pancreatic cancer xenografts(PEG-FA-Gem-Chi vs.Gem,t=22.950,P=0.000).Conclusions:PEG-FA-FITC-Chi nanoparticles might be an effective targeted drug for treating human FR-positive pancreatic cancer. | Jiahua Zhou Junying Wang Qian Xu Shi Xu Jin Wen Zeqian Yu Detong Yang | 2013 | Chinese Journal of Cancer Research2013,25,5: | 5 |

| 4 | Clinical Benefit of Epidermal Growth Factor Receptor-Tyrosine Kinase Inhibitors Plus Radiotherapy for Epidermal Growth Factor Receptor-Mutated Metastatic Non-Small Cell Lung Cancer: A Retrospective Analysis on Real World Data显示文摘Objective: To investigate the benefit of epidermal growth factor receptor( EGFR) tyrosine kinase inhibitors( TKIs)with radiotherapy in patients with EGFR mutation-positive metastatic non-small cell lung cancer( NSCLC),compared with TKIs alone.Methods: A total of 103 patients with stage Ⅳ EGFR-mutated NSCLC treated from February 2015 to May 2017 at Sichuan Cancer Hospital were analyzed retrospectively. Fifty patients were treated with EGFR-TKIs( gefitinib or erlotinib) plus radiotherapy( the TKI +RT group) and 53 patients received EGFR-TKIs alone( the TKI group). Tumor response,survival and toxicities were compared between the two groups. Results: Median follow-up time was 11. 7 months( 2. 8-36. 3 months). The overall response rate( ORR) and disease control rate( DCR) in the TKI + RT group vs the TKI group were 62% vs 37. 7%( P = 0. 014) and 88% vs 75. 5%( P =0. 101),respectively. The median progression-free survival( PFS) and median overall survival( OS) in the TKI + RT group were superior to those of the TKI group( 18. 87 months vs 12. 80 months,P = 0. 035 and 23. 10 months vs 18. 30 months,P = 0. 011). OS rates in the TKI + RT group and the TKI group were 56. 0% vs 35. 8% at year 1( P = 0. 04) and 16. 0% vs 3. 8% at year 2( P =0. 036).
