2Land Use/Cover Changes and Environmental Consequences in Songnen Plain,Northeast China显示文摘The Songnen Plain in Northeast China,one of the key national bases of agricultural production,went through remarkable land use/cover changes in recent years.This study aimed to explore the long-term land use/cover changes and the effects of these changes on the environment.The Landsat-based analysis showed that,during 1986-2000,cropland,built-up land and barren land had increased,among which cropland had the largest increase of 9,198km2 with an increase rate of 7.5%.Woodland,grassland,water body and swampland had decreased correspondingly,among which grassland had the most dramatic decrease of 6,127km2 with a decrease rate of 25.6%.The transition matrix results revealed that grassland,woodland and swampland were the three main land use types converted to cropland.Climate warming created the potential environment for the conversion of grassland and swampland into cropland.Land resources policy made by central and provincial governments of China affected the pattern and intensity of land use.Land use/cover changes accompanied by climatic variation brought out a series of environmental consequences,such as sand desertification of land,land salinization and alkalinization,grassland degradation,and more frequent floods.Under this circumstance,optimized land use structure and restoration measures are needed.LIU Dianwei WANG Zongming SONG Kaishan ZHANG Bai HU Liangjun HUANG Ni ZHANG Sumei LUO Ling ZHANG Chunhua JIANG Guangjia 2009Chinese Geographical Science2009,19,4:8

5Agrobacterium tumefaciens-mediated transformation of modern rose(Rosa hybrida)using leaf-derived embryogenic callus显示文摘Rose(Rosa hybrida)is widely used for cut flowers and as garden plants.Stable and efficient transformation system is required for functional genomics of rose.Here,we established an efficient transformation method for rose using Agrobacterium tumefaciens-mediated transformation of embryogenic callus.Expanding rose leaves were used as explants to induce somatic embryos,which were subjected to transformation with A.tumefaciens strain GV3101 using Green Fluorescence Protein(GFP)as a marker gene.It took about 8 months to generate transgenic shoots from embryogenic callus.PCR,RT-PCR,Southern and Western blotting,as well as stereoscopic fluorescence microscopy analysis demonstrated that GFP transgenes integrated stably into the rose genome.According to our data,a transformation efficiency of up to 6%can be achieved by following this optimized protocol.Guoqin Liu Yuan Yuan Hui Jiang Ying Bao Guogui Ning Liangjun Zhao Xiaofeng Zhou Hougao Zhou Junping Gao Nan Ma 2021Horticultural Plant Journal2021,7,4:1
6Inhibition of aberrant Hif1αactivation delays intervertebral disc degeneration in adult mice显示文摘The intervertebral disc(IVD) is the largest avascular tissue. Hypoxia-inducible factors(HIFs) play essential roles in regulating cellular adaptation in the IVD under physiological conditions. Disc degeneration disease(DDD) is one of the leading causes of disability, and current therapies are ineffective. This study sought to explore the role of HIFs in DDD pathogenesis in mice. The findings of this study showed that among HIF family members, Hif1α was significantly upregulated in cartilaginous endplate(EP) and annulus fibrosus(AF) tissues from human DDD patients and two mouse models of DDD compared with controls. Conditional deletion of the E3 ubiquitin ligase Vhl in EP and AF tissues of adult mice resulted in upregulated Hif1α expression and age-dependent IVD degeneration. Aberrant Hif1α activation enhanced glycolytic metabolism and suppressed mitochondrial function. On the other hand, genetic ablation of the Hif1α gene delayed DDD pathogenesis in Vhl-deficient mice. Administration of 2-methoxyestradiol(2ME2), a selective Hif1α inhibitor, attenuated experimental IVD degeneration in mice. 8MORPHOLOGY OF BLACK CARBON AEROSOLS AND UBIQUITY OF 50-NANOMETER BLACK CARBON AEROSOLS IN THE ATMOSPHERE显示文摘Different-sized aerosols were collected by an Andersen air sampler to observe the detailed morphology of the black carbon (BC) aerosols which were separated chemically from the other accompanying aerosols, using a Scan-ning Electron Microscope equipped with an Energy Dispersive X-ray Spectrometer (SEM-EDX). The results indicate that most BC aerosols are spherical particles of about 50 nm in diameter and with a homogeneous surface. Results also show that these particles aggregate with other aerosols or with themselves to form larger agglomerates in the micrometer range. The shape of these 50-nm BC spherical particles was found to be very similar to that of BC particles released from petroleum-powered vehicular internal combustion engines. 12SARS-CoV-2-specific immune response in COVID-19 convalescent individuals显示文摘We collected blood from coronavirus disease 2019(COVID-19)convalescent individuals and investigated SARS-CoV-2-specific humoral and cellular immunity in these discharged patients.Follow-up analysis in a cohort of 171 patients at 4-11 months after the onset revealed high levels of IgG antibodies.A total of 78.1%(164/210)of the specimens tested positive for neutralizing antibody(NAb).SARS-CoV-2 antigen peptide pools-stimulated-IL-2 and-IFN-y response can distinguish COVID-19 convalescent individuals from healthy donors.Interestingly,NAb survival was significantly affected by the antigen peptide pools-stimulated-IL-2 response,-IL-8 response,and-IFN-y response.The antigen peptide pools-activated CD8+T cell counts were correlated with NAb.The antigen peptide pools-activated natural killer(NK)cell counts in convalescent individuals were correlated with NAb and disease severity.Our data suggested that the development of NAb is associated with the activation of T cells and NK cells.Our work provides a basis for further analysis of the protective immunity to SARS-CoV-2 and for understanding the pathogenesis of COVID-19.It also has implications for the development of an effective vaccine for SARS-CoV-2 infection.Yunbao Pan Xianghu Jiang Liu Yang Liangjun Chen Xiaojiao Zeng Guohong Liu Yueting Tang Chungen Qian Xinming Wang Fangming Cheng Jun Lin Xinghuan Wang Yirong Li 2021Signal Transduction and Targeted Therapy2021,6,8:0

14Water and nitrogen transport characteristics of single-line interference infiltration under film hole irrigation with muddy water and fertilizer显示文摘Based on the experimental data,this study investigated the effect of sand content of muddy water on water and nitrogen transport characteristics of the single-line interference infiltration under film hole irrigation with muddy water and fertilizer.The relationship between the single-line interference infiltration parameters,the sand content,the wetting front movement distances,and the sand content were all established.The model of the cumulative infiltration volume of per unit film pore area,the vertical and horizontal wetting front movement distance of the free surface,and the wetting front movement distance of the interference center with sand content and infiltration time were proposed.Reveal the law of the change of soil water content and the distribution of NO_(3)^(-)-N content based on different muddy water sand content.The results indicate that at the same infiltration time,as the muddy water sand content increases,the cumulative infiltration volume per unit pore area decreases.The infiltration index of the free infiltration and the single-line interference vary little when the sand content increases,mainly are around 0.64 and 0.58.The relationship between infiltration parameters a,b and the sand content is linear function.At the same location,the more the sand content,the smaller the wetting front movement distance in free surface and the single-line interference surface,the less the NO_(3)^(-)-N content.JIANG Ruirui FEI Liangjun KANG Shouxuan 2022排灌机械工程学报2022,40,5:0
