1The prognostic and therapeutic implications of circulating tumor cell phenotype detection based on epithelial-mesenchymal transition markers in the first-line chemotherapy of HER2-negative metastatic breast cancer显示文摘Background:Epithelial-mesenchymal transition(EMT)is implicated in the metastatic process and presents a chal-lenge to epithelial cell adhesion molecule-based detection of circulating tumor cells(CTCs),which have been demon-strated to be a prognostic indicator in metastatic breast cancer.Although evidence has indicated that heterogeneity of CTCs based on EMT markers is associated with disease progression,no standard recommendations have been established for clinical practice.This study aimed to evaluate the prognostic significance of dynamic CTC detection based on EMT for metastatic breast cancer patients.Methods:We enrolled 108 human epidermal growth factor receptor 2-negative metastatic breast cancer patients from the prospective phase III CAMELLIA study and applied the CanPatrol CTC enrichment technique to identify CTC phenotypes(including epithelial CTCs,biphenotypic epithelial/mesenchymal CTCs,and mesenchymal CTCs)in peripheral blood samples.Receiver operating characteristic curve analyses of total CTC count and the proportion of mesenchymal CTCs for predicting the 1-year progression-free survival(PFS)rate were conducted to determine the optimal cut-off values,and Kaplan-Meier analysis and Cox proportional hazards regression analysis were performed to investigate the prognostic value of the cut-off values of both total CTC count and the proportion of mesenchymal CTCs in combination.Results:For predicting the 1-year PFS rate,the optimal cut-off value of total CTC count was 9.5(Area under the curve[AUC]=0.538,95%confidence interval[CI]=0.418-0.657),and that of the proportion of mesenchymal CTCs was 10.7%(AUC=0.581,95%CI=0.463-0.699).We used the two cut-off values in combination to forecast PFS in which the total CTC count was equaled to or exceeded 10/5 mL with the proportion of mesenchymal CTCs surpassed 10.7%.Patients who met the combined criteria had significantly shorter median PFS than did those who did not meet the criteria(6.2 vs.9.9 months,P=0.010).A nomogram was constructed based on the criteria and significant clinicopatho-logical characteristics with a C-index of 0.613(P=0.010).Conclusions: The criteria, which combine the total CTC count and the proportion of mesenchymal CTCs, may be used to monitor therapeutic resistance and predict prognosis in patients with metastatic breast cancer.Xiuwen Guan Fei Ma Chunxiao Li Shiyang Wu Shangying Hu Jiefen Huang Xiaoying Sun Jiayu Wang Yang Luo Ruigang Cai Ying Fan Qiao Li Shanshan Chen Pin Zhang Qing Li Binghe Xu 2019Cancer Communications2019,39,1:15
2Anlotinib has good efficacy and low toxicity: a phase Ⅱ study of anlotinib in pre-treated HER-2 negative metastatic breast cancer显示文摘Objective:Anlotinib is a novel tyrosine kinase inhibitor blocking angiogenesis.This study was performed to assess the efficacy and safety of anlotinib in patients with metastatic breast cancer.Methods:Patients with HER2-negative breast cancer,who were pre-treated with anthracycline or taxanes in a neoadjuvant,adjuvant,or metastatic setting,and had treatment failure after at least one prior chemotherapy regimen in the metastatic setting were enrolled.Anlotinib was administered at 12 mg daily for 14 days in a 21-day cycle until disease progression or unacceptable toxicity occurred.Simultaneously,5–10 m L of venous blood was collected to perform circulating tumor DNA(ct DNA)testing every 2 treatment cycles.The primary endpoint was the objective response rate(ORR).Secondary endpoints included the disease control rate(DCR),progression-free survival(PFS),overall survival,safety,and biomarkers.Results:Twenty-six eligible patients were enrolled,with a median age of 56(30–75)years.The median follow-up time was 10.5 months.The ORR was 15.4%,the DCR was 80.8%,and the median PFS was 5.22 months(95%confidence interval 2.86–6.24).Fourteen(53.8%)patients survived for more than 10 months.The changes in the detectable ct DNA variant allele frequency were consistent with the tumor response.The most common treatment-related adverse events were hypertension(57.7%),thyroidstimulating hormone elevation(34.6%),and hand-foot syndrome(23.1%).Conclusion:Anlotinib showed objective efficacy with tolerable toxicity in heavily pre-treated,metastatic HER2-negative breast cancer.The dynamic changes in the ct DNA variant allele fraction may be predictive of the tumor response.Nanlin Hu Yiran Si Jian Yue Tingting Sun Xue Wang Zhuqing Jia Songlin Gao Qiao Li Yang Shao Jiayu Wang Yang Luo Fei Ma Binghe Xu Peng Yuan 2021Cancer Biology & Medicine2021,18,3:11
3Clinical,Laboratory and Imaging Features of High Altitude Pulmonary Edema in Tibetan Plateau显示文摘Objective To analyze characteristics of high altitude pulmonary edema(HAPE)in Chinese patients.Methods We performed a retrospective study of 98 patients with HAPE.We reviewed the medical records and summarized the clinical,laboratory and imaging characteristics of these cases,and compared the results on admission with those determined before discharge.Results Forty-eight(49.0%)patients developed HAPE at the altitude of 2800 m to 3000 m.Ninty-five(96.9%)patients were man.Moist rales were audible from the both lungs,and moist rales over the right lung were clearer than those over the left lung in fourteen patients.The white blood cells[(12.83±5.55)versus(8.95±3.23)×109/L,P=0.001)]as well as neutrophil counts[(11.34±3.81)versus(7.49±2.83)×109/L,P=0.001)]were higher,whereas the counts of other subsets of white blood cells were lower on admission than those after recovery(all P<0.05).Serum levels of alkaline phosphatase(115.8±37.6 versus 85.7±32.4 mmol/L,P=0.020),cholinesterase(7226.2±1631.8 versus 6285.3±1693.3 mmol/L,P=0.040),creatinine(85.2±17.1 versus 75.1±12.8 mmol/L,P=0.021),uric acid(401.9±114.2 versus 326.0±154.3 mmol/L,P=0.041),and uric glucose(7.20±1.10 versus 5.51±1.11 mmol/L,P=0.001)were higher,but carbondioxide combining power(CO2CP,26.7±4.4 versus 28.9±4.5 mmol/L,P=0.042)and serous calcium(2.32±0.13 versus 2.41±0.10 mmol/L,P=0.006)were lower on admission.Arterial blood gas results showed hypoxemia and respiratory alkalosis on admission.Conclusions In the present research,men were more susceptible to HAPE than women,and in the process of HAPE,the lesions of the right lung were more serious than those of the left lung.Some indicators of routine blood test and blood biochemistry of HAPE patients changed.Zongbin Li Hongyan Chen Jiayue Li Gaoyuan Li Chunwei Liu Yundai Chen 2018Chinese Medical Sciences Journal2018,33,3:9
4Population Genomic Analysis and De Novo Assembly Reveal the Origin of Weedy Rice as an Evolutionary Game显示文摘Crop weediness,especially that of weedy rice(Oryza sativa f.spontanea),remains mysterious.Weedy rice possesses robust ecological adaptability;however,how this strain originated and gradually formed proprietary genetic features remains unclear?Here,we demonstrate that weedy rice at Asian high latitudes(WRAH)is phylogenetically well defined and possesses unselected genomic characteristics in many divergence regions between weedy and cultivated rice.We also identified novel quantitative trait loci underlying weedy-specific traits,and revealed that a genome block on the end of chromosome 1 is associated with rice weediness.To identify the genomic modifications underlying weedy rice evolution,we generated the first de novo assembly of a high-quality weedy rice genome(WR04-6),and conducted a comparative genomics study between WR04-6 with other rice reference genomes.Multiple lines of evidence,including the results of demographic scenario comparisons,suggest that differentiation between weedy rice and cultivated rice was initiated by genetic improvement of cultivated rice and that the essence of weediness arose through semi-domestication.A plant height model further implied that the origin of WRAH can be modeled as an evolutionary game and indicated that strategy-based selection driven by fitness shaped its genomic diversity.Jian Sun Dianrong Ma Liang Tang Minghui Zhao Guangchen Zhangh Wenjia Wang Jiayu Song Xiang Li Zimeng Liu Wenxing Zhang Quan Xu Yuncheng Zhou Jianzhong Wu Toshio Yamamoto Fei Dai Yan Lei Song Li Gang Zhou Hongkun Zheng Zhengjin Xu Wenfu Chen 2019Molecular Plant2019,12,5:9
5Dynamic Load Restoration Considering the Interdependencies Between Power Distribution Systems and Urban Transportation Systems显示文摘After a major outage,mobile emergency resources(MERs)can be dispatched via the transportation system(TS)for service restoration to critical loads in the power distribution system(PDS).In this case study,the efficiency of service restoration in the PDS is associated with the traffic efficiency of the TS,and vice versa,because the PDS and TS are mutually coupled through traffic lights and MERs.This paper proposes a service restoration method considering interdependency between the PDS and TS,which is formulated as a mixed-integer linear program(MILP).The objective includes maximizing the efficiency of both PDS restoration and TS.By solving the MILP,the dynamic load restoration and MER dispatch strategies can be obtained.For the PDS,the availability of MERs,including mobile sources and repair crews,relates to their dispatch in the TS,and their relationship is formulated as mathematical models.For the TS,the dynamic traffic flow is modeled using the cell transmission model and the effect of traffic lights is considered.Case studies validate the effectiveness of the proposed method.Ying Wang Yin Xu Jiaxu Li Chen Li Jinghan He Jiayu Liu Qiqi Zhang 2020CSEE Journal of Power and Energy Systems2020,6,4:9
6Clue to a thorough understanding of terahertz pulse generation by femtosecond laser filamentation显示文摘In this work, it has been demonstrated that in order to fully understand the terahertz(THz) pulse generation process during femtosecond laser filamentation, the interaction between THz wave and air plasma has to be taken into account. This interaction is mainly associated with the spatial confinement of the THz pulse by the plasma column, which could be described by the one-dimensional negative dielectric(1DND) waveguide model. By combining the 1 DND model with the conventional four-wave mixing(4WM) and photocurrent(PC) models,the variation of THz spectral amplitude and width obtained in experiments could be better understood. 7Association of serum levels of perfluoroalkyl substances with gestational diabetes mellitus and postpartum blood glucose显示文摘This study was conducted to examine the association of perfluoroalkyl substance(PFAS)exposure with gestational diabetes mellitus(GDM) risk and postpartum fasting blood glucose.We used a 1:2 matched case–control study with 84 GDM subjects and 168 healthy pregnant women from Beijing, China. The maternal blood was collected at 1–2 days before delivery, and eight linear isomers and fourteen branched isomers were determined in maternal serum.Logistic regression analyses were performed to evaluate the associations after adjusting for potential confounders. The median of the sum of levels of total PFASs was 4.24 ng/m L with a interquartile range(IQR) of 2.82–6.54 ng/m L. Although maternal PFAS exposure was not associated with risk of GDM, significant positive associations were observed between evaluated exposure to specific PFAS congeners and increasing blood glucose. 8Effectiveness of fluidized pellet bed for removing soluble contaminants显示文摘Fluidized pellet bed(FPB) has been successfully applied in water and wastewater treatment. However,the removal mechanism of contaminants especially the soluble ones,is still unclear. This study aimed to evaluate the effectiveness of FPB reactor for removing soluble contaminants from synthetic wastewater. By only coagulation through jar test operation with addition of polyaluminium chloride(PACl) as primary coagulant and polyacryamide(PAM) as coagulant-aid,the removals of soluble chemical oxygen demand(COD) ,total phosphorus(TP) ,and NH4+-N were found to be only 2.2%-7.5%,5.7%-25.5%,and 9.9%-18.5%,respectively. However,by FPB operation under the same dosage of coagulants,these values increased to 82.7%,37.2%,and 50%,indicating that the formation of pellets in the FPB effectively enhanced the removal of soluble contaminants. By careful comparison of the settleablility and filterability of the pollutants after coagulation,the originally soluble contaminants could be divided into three groups,namely:(1) coagulated-and-settleable,(2) coagulated-but-nonsettleable,and(3) uncoagulable. It was found that not only the first two groups but also a large part of the third group could be effectively removed by FPB operation. 9Super-resolution fluorescence-assisted diffraction computational tomography reveals the threedimensional landscape of the cellular organelle interactome显示文摘The emergence of super-resolution(SR)fluorescence microscopy has rejuvenated the search for new cellular substructures.However,SR fluorescence microscopy achieves high contrast at the expense of a holistic view of the interacting partners and surrounding environment.Thus,we developed SR fluorescence-assisted diffraction computational tomography(SR-FACT),which combines label-free three-dimensional optical diffraction tomography(ODT)with two-dimensional fluorescence Hessian structured illumination microscopy.The ODT module is capable of resolving the mitochondria,lipid droplets,the nuclear membrane,chromosomes,the tubular endoplasmic reticulum,and lysosomes.Using dual-mode correlated live-cell imaging for a prolonged period of time,we observed novel subcellular structures named dark-vacuole bodies,the majority of which originate from densely populated perinuclear regions,and intensively interact with organelles such as the mitochondria and the nuclear membrane before ultimately collapsing into the plasma membrane.This work demonstrates the unique capabilities of SR-FACT,which suggests its wide applicability in cell biology in general.Dashan Dong Xiaoshuai Huang Liuju Li Heng Mao Yanquan Mo Guangyi Zhang Zhe Zhang Jiayu Shen Wei Liu Zeming Wu Guanghui Liu Yanmei Liu Hong Yang Qihuang Gong Kebin Shi Liangyi Chen 2020Light(Science & Applications)2020,9,1:7
10Chemical cleaning of fouled PVC membrane during ultrafiltration of algal-rich water显示文摘Cleaning of hollow-fibre polyvinyl chloride (PVC) membrane with different chemical reagents after ultrafiltration of algal-rich water was investigated. Among the tested cleaning reagents (NaOH, HCl, EDTA, and NaClO), 100 mg/L NaClO exhibited the best performance (88.4% ± 1.1%) in removing the irreversible fouling resistance. This might be attributed to the fact that NaClO could eliminate almost all the major foulants such as carbohydrate-like and protein-like materials on the membrane surface, as confirmed by Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy analysis. However, negligible irreversible resistance (1.5% ± 1.0%) was obtained when the membrane was cleaning by 500 mg/L NaOH for 1.0 hr, although the NaOH solution could also desorb a portion of the major foulants from the fouled PVC membrane. Scanning electronic microscopy and atomic force microscopy analyses demonstrated that 500 mg/L NaOH could change the structure of the residual foulants on the membrane, making them more tightly attached to the membrane surface. This phenomenon might be responsible for the negligible membrane permeability restoration after NaOH cleaning. 12Enhanced dewaterability of waste activated sludge by UV assisted ZVI-PDS oxidation显示文摘Ultraviolet(UV)assisted zero-valent iron(ZVI)-activated sodium persulfate(PDS)oxidation(UV-ZVI-PDS)was used to treat waste activated sludge(WAS)in this study.The dewaterability performance and mechanism of WAS dewatering were analyzed.The results showed that UV-ZVI-PDS can obtain better sludge dewatering performance in a wide pH range(2.0-8.0).When the molar ratio of ZVI/PDS was 0.6,UV was 254nm,PDS dosage was 200 mg/g TS(total solid),pH was 6.54,reaction time was 20 min,the CST(capillary suction time)and SRF(specific resistance to filtration)were decreased by 64.0%and 78.2%,respectively.The molar ratio of ZVI/PDS used in this paper is much lower than that of literatures,and the contents of total Fe and Fe^(2+) in sludge supernatant remained at a low level,as 3.7 mg/L and 0.0 mg/L.The analysis of extracellular polymeric substances(EPS),scanning electron microscope(SEM)and particle size distribution showed that the EPS could be effectively destroyed by UV-ZVI-PDS,the sludge flocs broken down into smaller particles,cracks and holes appeared,and then the bound water was released.At the same time,the highly hydrophilic tightly bound-EPS(TB-EPS)were converted into loosely bound EPS(LB-EPS)and soluble EPS(S-EPS).During sludge pretreated by UV-ZVI-PDS,positively charged ions,such as Fe^(2+),Fe^(3+) and H^(+),produced in the reaction system could reduce the electronegativity of sludge surface,promote sludge particles aggregation,and then enhanced the sludge dewaterability.Yanping Zhang Tiantian Li Jiayu Tian Huichun Zhang Fen Li Jiahua Pei 2022Journal of Environmental Sciences2022,34,3:7
13Spaceflight and simulated microgravity suppresses macrophage development via altered RAS/ERK/NFκB and metabolic pathways显示文摘Spaceflight-associated immune system weakening ultimately limits the ability of humans to expand their presence beyond the earth's orbit. A mechanistic study of microgravity-regulated immune cell function is necessary to overcome this challenge. Here, we demonstrate that both spaceflight (real) and simulated microgravity significantly reduce macrophage differentiation, decrease macrophage quantity and functional polarization, and lead to metabolic reprogramming, as demonstrated by changes in gene expression profiles. Moreover, we identified RAS/ERK/NFκB as a major microgravity-regulated pathway. Exogenous ERK and NFκB activators significantly counteracted the effect of microgravity on macrophage differentiation. In addition, microgravity also affects the p53 pathway, which we verified by RT-qPCR and Western blot. 14Epidemiological characteristics of pulmonary tuberculosis in patients with pneumoconiosis based on its social determinants and risk factors in China:a cross-sectional study from 27 provinces显示文摘Background:Patients with pneumoconiosis have an elevated risk of contracting pulmonary tuberculosis(PTB)and need particular attention.However,extensive population-based studies on the prevalence of PTB in patients with pneumoconiosis have not been reported in China since 1992.This study aimed to investigate the epidemiological characteristics of PTB in patients with pneumoconiosis based on its social determinants and risk factors in China.Methods:Based on the Commission on Social Determinants of Health(CSDH)framework,data were obtained from a questionnaire survey of patients with pneumoconiosis from China’s 27 provinces(autonomous regions,municipalities)from December 2017 to June 2021.By chi-square and multivariate logistic regression analyses,the epidemiological characteristics of PTB in the patients were identified based on its prevalence and odds ratio(OR)and associated social determinants and risk factors.The population attributable fractions(PAFs)of significant risk factors were also calculated.Results:The prevalence of PTB in patients with pneumoconiosis(n=10,137)was 7.5%(95%confidence interval[CI]:7.0-8.0%).Multivariate logistic regression analysis showed that risk factors included in-hospital exposure to patients with PTB(OR=3.30,95%CI:2.77-3.93),clinically diagnosed cases(OR=3.25,95%CI:2.42-4.34),and northeastern regions(OR=2.41,95%CI:1.76-3.31).In addition,lack of work-related injury insurance(WRII),being born in a rural area,being unemployed,living in western regions,household exposure to patients with PTB,smoking,being underweight,complications of pulmonary bullae or pneumothorax,hospitalization history,and former drinkers among the rural patients were also statistically significant risk factors.Being born in a rural area,lack of WRII and in-hospital exposure to patients with PTB had higher PAFs,which were 13.2%(95%CI:7.9-18.5%),12.5%(95%CI:8.3-16.7%),and 11.6%(95%CI:8.8-14.3%),respectively.Conclusion:The prevalence of PTB in pneumoconiosis remains high in China;it is basically in line with the CSDH models and has its characteristics.Huanqiang Wang Huaping Dai Jiayu He Xiangpei Lyu Xinran Zhang Tao Li 2022Chinese Medical Journal2022,135,24:7

17CMHX008,a PPAR γ partial agonist,enhances insulin sensitivity with minor influences on bone loss显示文摘Traditional thiazolidinediones(TZDs),such as rosiglitazone,are peroxisome proliferator-activated receptor g(PPARg)potent agonists that can be used to treat type 2 diabetes but carry unwanted effects,including increased risk for fracture.The present work aimed to compare the insulin-sensitizing efficacies and bone-loss side effects of CMHX008,a novel TZDs-like PPARg partial agonist,with those of rosiglitazone.A TR-FRET PPARg competitive binding assay was used to compare the binding affinity between CMHX008 and rosiglitazone.Mice were administered vehicle,CMHX008 or rosiglitazone for 16 weeks.Mesenchymal stem cells(MSCs)were used to examine differences in differentiation into osteoblasts after compounds treatment.TR-FRET showed lower affinity to PPARg by CMHX008 compared with rosiglitazone.Mice treated with CMHX008 showed insulin sensitization similar to that of mice treated with rosiglitazone,which was related to the significant inhibition of PPARg Ser273 phosphorylation and improved insulin sensitivity by facilitating the phosphorylation of insulin receptor and Akt in adipose tissues.Micro-CT and histomorphometric analyses demonstrated that the degree of trabecular bone loss after treatment with CMHX008 was weaker than that observed with rosiglitazone,as evidenced by consistent changes in BV/TV,Tb.N,Tb.Th,Tb.Sp,and the mineral apposition rate.MSCs treated with CMHX008 showed higher ALP activity and mRNA levels of bone formation markers than did cells treated with rosiglitazone in the osteoblast differentiation test.Thus,CMHX008 showed insulin-sensitizing effects similar to those of rosiglitazone with a lower risk of bone loss,suggesting that PPARg sparing eliminates the skeletal side effects of TZDs while maintaining their insulin-sensitizing properties.Yi Hou Xuemei Cao Xiangnan Hu Xinyu Li Xiaoqin Shi Hongying Wang Chuan Peng Jiayu Li Jibin Li Qifu Li Chaodong Wu Xiaoqiu Xiao 2018Genes & Diseases2018,5,3:6
18Trastuzumab plus adjuvant chemotherapy for human epidermal growth factor receptor 2(HER2)-positive early-stage breast cancer: A real-world retrospective study in Chinese patients显示文摘Objective: To assess the long-term effectiveness and safety of trastuzumab in adjuvant therapy for Chinese patients with early-stage human epidermal growth factor 2(HER2)-positive breast cancer in a real-world setting.Methods: This retrospective observational study analyzed the medical records of HER2-positive breast cancer patients between 2000 and 2012 at the Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences. Patients who received adjuvant chemotherapy alone or adjuvant chemotherapy followed by/combined with trastuzumab were included. The Kaplan-Meier method was used to estimate disease-free survival(DFS) and overall survival(OS). Hazard ratios(HR) and 95% confidence intervals(95% CI) were calculated using the Cox regression model.Results: Of the 1,348 patients analyzed, 909 received chemotherapy alone and 439 received chemotherapy plus trastuzumab. The 3-year, 5-year and 10-year DFS rates were 83.70%, 76.38% and 68.94%, respectively, in the chemotherapy-alone cohort, and 90.21%, 86.19% and 83.45% in the chemotherapy plus trastuzumab cohort. The3-year, 5-year and 10-year OS rates were 96.10%, 91.40% and 81.88% in the chemotherapy-alone cohort, and98.17%, 94.91% and 90.01% in the chemotherapy plus trastuzumab cohort. The chemotherapy plus trastuzumab group had a significantly lower risk of disease recurrence and death than the chemotherapy-alone group(DFS:HR=0.50, 95% CI, 0.37-0.68;P<0.001;OS: HR=0.53, 95% CI, 0.34-0.81;P=0.004) after adjusting for covariates.In the 439 patients treated with trastuzumab, multivariate analysis suggested that lymph node positivity, higher T stages, and hormone receptor-negative status were significantly associated with higher risks of disease recurrence,and lymph node positivity and hormone receptor-negative status were significantly associated with higher risks of death. Grade 3/4 adverse events(incidence ≥1%) were more common in patients receiving trastuzumab(54.44% vs.15.73%).Conclusions: Early-stage HER2-positive breast cancer patients treated with trastuzumab plus adjuvant chemotherapy have a significant survival benefit compared with chemotherapy-alone in real-world settings. 19Shell concentrations of Early Silurian virgianid brachiopods in northern Guizhou: Temporal and spatial distribution and tempestite formation显示文摘Shell beds in the uppermost Xiangshuyuan Formation and its coeval Upper Shihniulan Formation (Lower Silurian), northern Guizhou, SW China, are interpreted as tempestites occurring on the Upper Yangtze Platform. The shells are dominated by two endemic and transient virgianid (brachiopod) taxa, Paraconchidium shiqianensis and Virgianella glabera, which vary in relative abundance and deposited as fragments of valves with cemented micrite that differs from the surrounding sediment, demonstrat- ing that the shells were not originally preserved in growth positions. The thicknesses of individual shell layers vary from ten centimeters to more than four meters. Shells had been strongly stirred up by high-energy currents, mainly caused by ocean storm events and probably related to the profile of the geographic shape of the coastline. Fragmentation of shells, in particular, their thinning anterior parts of ventral and dorsal valves are more intensive. The benthic assemblages are from lower BA2 to upper BA3 in depth, assigned to near shoal belt in geographic background. Breakage and stacking density are of the indexes of proximal and distal transportations. Northern Guizhou was located within the lower latitudes of the Southern Hemisphere during the Silurian time, and obviously affected the depth of the virgianid inhabitation. Most of these shells were disturbed repeatedly by surges. 20Genomic surveillance of coxsackievirus A10 reveals genetic features and recent appearance of genogroup D in Shanghai,China,2016–2020显示文摘Coxsackievirus A10(CVA10)is one of the major causative agents of hand,foot and mouth disease(HFMD).To investigate the epidemiological characteristics as well as genetic features of CVA10 currently circulating in Shanghai,China,we collected a total of 9,952 sporadic HFMD cases from January 2016 to December 2020.In the past five years,CVA10 was the fourth prevalent causatives associated with HFMD in Shanghai and the overall positive rate was 2.78%.The annual distribution experienced significant fluctuations over the past five years.In addition to entire VP1 sequencing,complete genome sequencing and recombination analysis of CVA10 isolates in Shanghai were further performed.A total of 64 near complete genomes and 11 entire VP1 sequences in this study combined with reference sequences publicly available were integrated into phylogenetic analysis.The CVA10sequences in this study mainly belonged to genogroup C and presented 91%-100%nucleotide identity with other Chinese isolates based on VP1 region.For the first time,our study reported the appearance of CVA10 genogroup D in Chinese mainland,which had led to large-scale outbreaks in Europe previously.The recombination analysis showed the recombination break point located between 5,100 nt and 6,700 nt,which suggesting intertypic recombination with CVA16 genogroup D.To conclusion,CVA10 genogroup C was the predominant genogroup in Shanghai during 2016-2020.CVA10 recombinant genogroup D was firstly reported in circulating in Chinese mainland.Continuous surveillance is needed to better understand the evolution relationships and transmission pathways of CVA10 to help to guide disease control and prevention.Jiayu Wang Jiajing Liu Fanghao Fang Jiajin Wu Tianjiao Ji Yuying Yang Ling Liu Chongshan Li Wanju Zhang Xi Zhang Zheng Teng 2022Virologica Sinica2022,37,2:5
