| 1 | Chinese Stroke Association guidelines for clinical management of cerebrovascular disorders: executive summary and 2019 update of clinical management of cerebral venous sinus thrombosis显示文摘Aim Cerebral venous sinus thrombosis(CVST)is a less common cerebrovascular disease that predominantly affects young patients.The incidence of CVST is 2-5/10000000/year,accounting for 0.5%-1%of all stroke.To reduce mortality and morbidity associated with CVST,Chinese Stroke Association commissioned the authors to write the current guideline on the management of CVST.Methods PubMed(MEDLINE),CNKI and Wanfang database were searched for studies related to CVST from 1 January 1990 to 31 July 2019.Data were synthesised by evidence tables.Each recommendation was fully discussed by the writing group members and reviewed by Chinese Stroke Association Stroke Fellow Committees.Levels of evidence grading algorithm of Chinese Stroke Association was used to grade each recommendation.results This guideline mainly focuses on the diagnostic evaluation,therapeutic strategies and secondary prevention of CVST.CT/CTV and MRI/MRV are recommended in the initial imaging evaluation of patients with suspected CVST.Anticoagulation therapy with low-molecular weight heparin should be initiated in patients with CVST immediately.After the acute stage,warfarin is recommended for 3-6 months to prevent the recurrence of CVST and other venous thromboembolic events.Conclusions The guideline summarises the current evidence regarding the management of CVST,and provides references for diagnosis,treatment and secondary prevention of CVST in China. | Yuhua Fan Jian Yu Hongbing Chen Jian Zhang Jiangang Duan Dapeng Mo Wenhao Zhu Bo Wang Fubing Ouyang Yicong Chen Linfang Lan Jinsheng Zeng Chinese Stroke Association Stroke Council CVST Guideline Writing Committee | 2020 | Stroke & Vascular Neurology2020,5,2: | 14 |

| 8 | Clear mortality gap caused by graft macrosteatosis in Chinese patients after cadaveric liver transplantation显示文摘Background:Liver transplantation(LT)is one of the most effective surgical treatment for patients with end-stage liver disease.Steatosis is a contributor for inferior graft quality.But its impact and safety on transplantation was less assessed in Chinese patients.Methods:Graft steatosis and related information involved in recipients,donors and surgical procedures were retrospectively collected from 239 patients.Results:Donor macrosteatosis(MaS)caused about 2.14 and 2.80 folds of increment on patient and graft mortality.Dose-response analysis revealed prominent risk of grafts on overall patient/organ mortality when MaS content exceeded 10%(P<0.05).Noteworthy,deaths were only observed in MaS group when concurrent with extremely higher post-transplant alanine aminotransferase(ALT,64%).However,microsteatosis(MiS)grafts didn’t affect outcomes after LT.In a cohort of Chinese patients,MaS had comprehensive effects on post-transplant outcomes with relatively lower safety threshold at 10%.Mortality gap caused by MaS grafts was observed in patients with severer ischemia reperfusion injury.Conclusions:Our study revealled the graft MaS affected the post-transplant outcomes in lower risk cutoff in Chinese patients.Further study is worthy to validate these results and investigate inner mechanism under the phenomenon. | Zhengtao Liu Wenchao Wang Li Zhuang Jingfeng Liu Shuping Que Dan Zhu Linfang Dong Jian Yu Lin Zhou Shusen Zheng | 2020 | Hepatobiliary Surgery and Nutrition2020,9,6: | 2 |
| 9 | The E3 ubiquitin ligase NEDD4-1 protects against acetaminophen-induced liver injury by targeting VDAC1 for degradation显示文摘Acetaminophen(APAP)overdose is a major cause of liver injury.Neural precursor cell expressed developmentally downregulated 4—1(NEDD4-1)is an E3 ubiquitin ligase that has been implicated in the pathogenesis of numerous liver diseases;however,its role in APAP-induced liver injury(AILI)is unclear.Thus,this study aimed to investigate the role of NEDD4-1 in the pathogenesis of AILI.We found that NEDD4-1 was dramatically downregulated in response to APAP treatment in mouse livers and isolated mouse hepatocytes.Hepatocyte-specific NEDD4-1 knockout exacerbated APAP-induced mitochondrial damage and the resultant hepatocyte necrosis and liver injury,while hepatocyte-specific NEDD4-1 overexpression mitigated these pathological events both in vivo and in vitro.Additionally,hepatocyte NEDD4-1 deficiency led to marked accumulation of voltage-dependent anion channel 1(VDAC1)and increased VDAC1 oligomerization.Furthermore,VDAC1 knockdown alleviated AILI and weakened the exacerbation of AILI caused by hepatocyte NEDD4-1 deficiency.Mechanistically,NEDD4-1 was found to interact with the PPTY motif of VDAC1 through its WW domain and regulate K48-linked ubiquitination and degradation of VDAC1.Our present study indicates that NEDD4-1 is a suppressor of AILI and functions by regulating the degradation of VDAC1. | Yiwei Zhu Lin Lei Xinghui Wang Linfang Chen Wei Li Jinxia Li Chenchen Zhao Xiliang Du Yuxiang Song Wenwen Gao Guowen Liu Xinwei Li | 2023 | Acta Pharmaceutica Sinica B2023,13,4: | 1 |

| 14 | Neuroprotective effect of shenfu injection after intra-arterial thrombolysis显示文摘BACKGROUND: Within 3 hours after ischemic stroke, thrombolysis can improve prognosis of patients; however, cerebral edema and cerebral hemorrhage induced by vascular recanalization at an early phase can influence on therapeutic effect of thrombolysis; therefore, thrombolysis is combined with neuroprotective agent for recently clinical treatment. OBJECTIVE: To evaluate the neuroprotective effect of shenfu injection on patients with ischemic stroke after arterial thrombolysis and compare with the controls. DESIGN: Case-controlled study. SETTING: Department of Medical Image, Second Hospital of Hebei Medical University. PARTICIPANTS: A total of 45 patients with acute stroke were selected from Emergency Department or Neurological Department of the Second Hospital of Hebei Medical University from August 2005 to May 2006. All patients were met the diagnosis criteria published by the Fourth National Stroke Conference and had middle cerebral arterial embolism with angiography. Attacked course was less than 6 hours. Patients did not have a history of stroke. Scores of the National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) were not less than 4 points and patients were aged from 18 to 80 years. All subjects consented of the whole therapeutic process. METHODS: ① Intermittent perfusion was used to treat intra-arterial thrombolysis. Thirty patients with vascular recanalization or partially vascular recanalization (18 males and 12 females) were randomly divided into treatment group and control group with 15 in each group. There was no significant difference of baseline data between the two groups. After recanalization, patients in treatment group were given 20 mL shenfu injection, which consisted of ginseng saponin and aconitine (Ya’an Sanjiu Pharmaceutical Company, batch number: 041013, 10 mL/ampoule) and slowly injected into vein for longer than 5 minutes. And then, patients were intravenously dripped with 50 mL shenfu injection and 50 g/L 250 mL glucose solution once a day for 2 courses. Fourteen days were regarded as a course. Patients in control group were treated with the same volume of glucose solution (50 g/L), and other processes in this group were as the same as those in treatment group. ② NIHSS scores before thrombolysis and at 24 hours after thrombolysis: Patients were scored as the follows: level of consciousness, staring, sight, facial paralysis, upper limb movement, lower limb movement, incoordination, sense, language, dysarthria and neglect. Total scores ranged from 0 to 42, and the more the scores were, the more obvious the symptom was. ③ Patients were checked with head CT examination at 24 hours after thrombolysis. ④ Modified Rankin scores at 3 months after thrombolysis: Total scores ranged from 0 to 6. 0: symptomless; 6: death; 0-2: well; 3-6: poor. ⑤ Adverse events and side effects were checked after thrombolysis. MAIN OUTCOME MEASURES: ① Comparison of NIHSS scores between the two groups before and after thrombolysis; ② comparison of modified Rankin scores at 3 months after thrombolysis; ③ comparison of adverse events and side effects. RESULTS: Among 45 patients with ischemic stroke, 30 ones with vascular recanalization were involved in the final analysis. ① Comparison of NIHSS scores before and after thrombolysis: After thrombolysis, NIHSS scores were 5 in treatment group and 8 in control group, which were lower than those before thrombolysis (12, 13; U =2.054, 1.652; P < 0.05). At 24 hours after thrombolysis, NIHSS score was 5 in treatment group, which was lower than that in control group (8, U =2.157, P < 0.05). ② Comparison of modified Rankin scores at 3 months after thrombolysis: Rankin scores which were regarded as well accounted for 93% (14/15) in treatment group, which was higher than those in control group (53%, 8/15, P < 0.05). ③ Comparison of adverse events and side effects: Patients in treatment group did not have cerebral hemorrhage and whole-body hemorrhage with head CT examination; meanwhile, all patients were living at 24 hours after thrombolysis. Among 2 patients with cerebral hemorrhage, 1 case were dead in control group with head CT examination at 24 hours after thrombolysis. | 17 | Sub-THz signals' propagation model in hypersonic plasma sheath under different atmospheric conditions显示文摘One of the aims for modern hypersonic cruise flight is hypersonic global reach. The length of route for such flights could be up to thousands of kilometers. The atmospheric conditions on the route are complicated. On the other hand, hypersonic flights used to suffer from communication blackout. The sub-THz communication is considered as a potential solution to the ‘blackout'. In the present study the propagation for sub-THz signals in hypersonic plasma sheaths was modeled under different atmospheric conditions. According to the study, the electron density and the electron collision frequency near the onboard antenna linearly increase with the atmospheric mass density around the vehicle, hence the attenuation of sub-THz signals in hypersonic plasma sheaths increases with the atmospheric mass density. The impact led by the atmospheric temperature is ignorable. Based on the study a new sub-THz signals' propagation model was developed, which could be utilized for quick estimation for signal propagation under different atmospheric conditions. The geographical difference of signal propagation over the whole globe was obtained with the new model. The results showed that the signal attenuation in plasma sheaths varies with latitude and longitude.
