12D Materials Based Optoelectronic Memory: Convergence of Electronic Memory and Optical Sensor显示文摘Te continuous development of electron devices towards the trend of“More than Moore”requires functional diversifcation that can collect data(sensors)and store(memories)and process(computing units)information.Considering the large occupation proportion of image data in both data center and edge devices,a device integration with optical sensing and data storage and processing is highly demanded for future energy-efcient and miniaturized electronic system.Two-dimensional(2D)materials and their heterostructures have exhibited broadband photoresponse and high photoresponsivity in the confguration of optical sensors and showed fast switching speed,multi-bit data storage,and large ON/OFF ratio in memory devices.In addition,its ultrathin body thickness and transfer process at low temperature allow 2D materials to be heterogeneously integrated with other existing materials system.In this paper,we overview the state-of-the-art optoelectronic random-access memories(ORAMs)based on 2D materials,as well as ORAM synaptic devices and their applications in neural network and image processing.Te ORAM devices potentially enable direct storage/processing of sensory data from external environment.We also provide perspectives on possible directions of other neuromorphic sensor design(e.g.,auditory and olfactory)based on 2D materials towards the future smart electronic systems for artifcial intelligence.Feichi Zhou Jiewei Chen Xiaoming Tao Xinran Wang Yang Chai 2019Research2019,,1:6
2Heat Transfer Characteristics of Printed Circuit Heat Exchanger with Supercritical Carbon Dioxide and Molten Salt显示文摘Molten salt and supercritical carbon dioxide(S-CO_(2))are important high temperature heat transfer media,but molten salt/S-CO_(2) heat exchanger has been seldom reported.In present paper,heat transfer in printed circuit heat exchanger(PCHE)with molten salt and S-CO_(2) is simulated and analyzed.Since S-CO_(2) can be drove along passage wall by strong buoyancy force with large density difference,its heat transfer is enhanced by natural convection.In inlet region,natural convection weakens along flow direction with decreasing Richardson number,and the thermal boundary layer becomes thicker,so local heat transfer coefficient of S-CO_(2) significantly decreases.In outlet region,turbulent kinetic energy gradually increases,and then heat transfer coefficient increases for turbulent heat transfer enhancement.Compared with transcritical CO_(2) with lower inlet temperature,local heat transfer coefficient of S-CO_(2) near inlet is lower for smaller Richardson number,while it will be higher for larger turbulent kinetic energy near outlet.Performance of PCHE is mainly determined by the pressure drop in molten salt passage and the heat transfer resistance in S-CO_(2) passage.When molten salt passage width increases,molten salt pressure drop significantly decreases,and overall heat transfer coefficient slightly changes,so the comprehensive performance of PCHE is improved.As a result,PCHE unit with three semicircular passages and one semi-elliptic passage has better performance.LAO Jiewei FU Qianmei WANG Weilong DING Jing LU Jianfeng 2021Journal of Thermal Science2021,30,3:4
3Optimized production of a novel bioflocculant M-C11 by Klebsiella sp. and its application in sludge dewatering显示文摘The optimized production of a novel bioflocculant M-C11 produced by Klebsiella sp. and its application in sludge dewatering were investigated. The optimal medium carbon source,nitrogen source, metal ion, initial pH and culture temperature for the bioflocculant production were glucose, NaNO3, MgSO4, and pH 7.0 and 25°C, respectively. A compositional analysis indicated that the purified M-C11 consisted of 91.2% sugar, 4.6% protein and 3.9% nucleic acids(m/m). A Fourier transform infrared spectrum confirmed the presence of carboxyl, hydroxyl,methoxyl and amino groups. The microbial flocculant exhibited excellent pH and thermal stability in a kaolin suspension over a pH range of 4.0 to 8.0 and a temperature range of 20 to 60°C.The optimum bioflocculating activity was observed as 92.37% for 2.56 mL M-C11 and 0.37 g/L CaCl2 dosages using response surface methodology. The sludge resistance in filtration(SRF)decreased from 11.6 × 1012 to 4.7 × 1012m/kg, which indicated that the sludge dewaterability was remarkably enhanced by the bioflocculant conditioning. The sludge dewatering performance conditioned by M-C11 was more efficient than that of inorganic flocculating reagents,such as aluminum sulfate and polymeric aluminum chloride. The bioflocculant has advantages over traditional sludge conditioners due to its lower cost, benign biodegradability and negligible secondary pollution. 4Overexpression of amplified in breast cancer 1 (AIB1) gene promotes lung adenocarcinoma aggressiveness in vitro and in vivo by upregulating C-X-C motif chemokine receptor 4显示文摘Background:We previously found that overexpression of the gene known as amplified in breast cancer 1(AIB1)was associated with lymph node metastasis and poor prognosis in patients with lung adenocarcinoma.However,the role of AIB1 in that malignancy remains unknown.The present study aimed to investigate the function of AIB1 in the process of lung adenocarcinoma cell metastasis.Methods:A series of in vivo and in vitro assays were performed to elucidate the function of AIB1,while real-time PCR and Western blotting were utilized to identify the potential downstream targets of AIB1 in the process of lung adenocarcinoma metastasis.Rescue experiments and in vitro assays were performed to investigate whether the invasive-ness of AIB1-induced lung adenocarcinoma was mediated by C-X-C motif chemokine receptor 4(CXCR4).Results:The ectopic overexpression of AIB1 in lung adenocarcinoma cells substantially enhanced cell migration and invasive abilities in vitro and tumor metastasis in vivo,whereas the depletion of AIB1 expression substantially inhibited lung adenocarcinoma cell migration and invasion.CXCR4 was identified as a potential downstream target of AIB1 in lung adenocarcinoma.The knockdown of AIB1 greatly reduced CXCR4 gene expression at both the transcription and protein levels,whereas the knockdown of CXCR4 in cells with AIB1 ectopic overexpression diminished AIB1-induced migration and invasion in vitro and tumor metastasis in vivo.Furthermore,we found a significant positive association between the expression of AIB1 and CXCR4 in lung adenocarcinoma patients(183 cases),and the co-overexpression of AIB1 and CXCR4 predicted the poorest prognosis.Conclusions:These findings suggest that AIB1 promotes the aggressiveness of lung adenocarcinoma in vitro and in vivo by upregulating CXCR4 and that it might be usable as a novel prognostic marker and/or therapeutic target for this disease.Liru He Haixia Deng Shiliang Liu Jiewei Chen Binkui Li Chenyuan Wang Xin Wang Yiguo Jiang Ningfang Ma Mengzhong Liu Dan Xie 2018Cancer Communications2018,38,1:2
5Interstitial copper-doped edge contact for n-type carrier transport in black phosphorus显示文摘Black phosphorus(BP)has been shown as a promising two-dimensional(2D)material for electronic devices owing to its high carrier mobility.To realize complementary electronic circuits with 2D materials,it is important to fabricate both n-type and p-type transistors with the same channel material.By engineering the contact region with copper(Cu)-doped BP,here we demonstrate an n-type carrier transport in BP field-effect transistors(FETs),which usually exhibit strongly p-type characteristics.Cu metal atoms are found to severely penetrate into the BP flakes,which forms interstitial Cu(Cuint)-doped edge contact and facilitates the electron transport in BP.Our BP FETs in backgated configuration exhibit n-type dominant characteristics with a high electron mobility of^138 cm^2 V^−1 s^−1 at room temperature.The Schottky barrier height for electrons is relatively low because of the edge contact between Cuint-doped BP and pristine BP channel.The contact doping of BP by highly mobile Cu atoms gives rise to n-type transport property of BP FETs.Furthermore,we demonstrate a p-n junction on the same BP flake with asymmetric contact.This strategy on contact engineering can be further extended to other 2D materials.Ziyuan Lin Jingli Wang Xuyun Guo Jiewei Chen Chao Xu Mingqiang Liu Bilu Liu Ye Zhu Yang Chai 2019InfoMat2019,1,2:2

7Ganjiang granule regulates cecal microflora and serum biochemical components in a rat model of constipation-predominant irritable bowel syndrome显示文摘Objective:To investigate the effects of Ganjiang granule(GG)on cecal microflora and serum biochemical components in rats with constipation-predominant irritable bowel syndrome(IBSeC).Methods:Twenty-four SpragueeDawley rats were randomly divided into four groups:control,model,GG,and probiotics.Rats in the model,GG,and probiotics groups received 3℃ tap water intragastrically;rats in the GG group were treated with GG;rats in the probiotics group were treated with probiotics.For all rats,enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay and colorimetry were used to assess serum biochemical components related to gastrointestinal function;16S rRNA high-throughput sequencing was used to analyze the cecal microflora.Results:The serum level of 5-hydroxytryptamine(HT)was higher in the model group than in the control group(Z=-2.082,P=.037).The model group exhibited changes in cecal microflora:the relative abundances of Lactobacillus decreased(Z=-2.882,P=.004)and Dorea increased(t=-3.030,P=.023),compared with the control group.The GG and probiotics groups exhibited normal serum levels of 5-HT.The GG and probiotics groups exhibited improved serum levels of gastrin;the probiotics group exhibited an improved serum level of vasoactive intestinal peptide.Compared with the model group,The GG group exhibited greater relative abundance of Ruminococcus(Z=-2.402,P=.016);the probiotics group exhibited greater relative abundance of SMB53(Z=-2.823,P=.005)and lower relative abundances of Desulfovibrio(Z=-2.823,P=.005)and Facklamia(Z=-2.608,P=.009).Conclusion:The effects of GG on IBS-C may be related to regulation of the serum level of 5-HT,as well as elevated relative abundance of beneficial bacteria in cecal microflora.Lujiao Gao Xin Niu Tingli Niu Xuan Wang Xiaoyan Lu Jiewei Hong Qianjin Feng Xuezhi Yang Roberto Gonzalez 2020Journal of Traditional Chinese Medical Sciences2020,7,2:1

9Phenylfluorenamine-functionalized poly(N-vinylcarbazole)s as dopant-free polymer hole-transporting materials for inverted quasi-2D perovskite solar cells显示文摘In order to improve the efficiency and stability of inverted three-dimensional(3D) or quasi-2D perovskite solar cells(PSCs) for future commercialization, exploring high efficient dopant-free polymer holetransporting materials(HTMs) is still desired and meaningful. One simple and efficient way to achieve high performance dopant-free HTMs is to synthesize novel non-conjugated side-chain polymers via rational molecular design. In this work, N-(4-methoxyphenyl)-9,9-dimethyl-9H-fluoren-2-amine(FMeNPh) groups are introduced into the poly(N-vinylcarbazole)(PVK) side chains to afford two nonconjugated polymers PVCz-DFMeNPh and PVCz-FMeNPh as dopant-free HTMs in inverted quasi-2D PSCs. Benefited from the flexible properties of polyethylene backbone and excellent optoelectronic natures of FMeNPh side-chain groups, PVCz-DFMeNPh with more FMeNPh units exhibited excellent thermal stability, well-matched energy levels and improved charge mobility as compared to PTAA and PVCzFMeNPh. Moreover, the morphologies investigation of quasi-2D perovskite on PVCz-DFMeNPh shows more compact and homogeneous perovskite films than those on PTAA and PVCz-FMeNPh. As a result,the dopant-free PVCz-DFMeNPh based inverted quasi-2D PSCs deliver power conversion efficiency(PCE) up to 18.44% as well as negligible hysteresis and favorable long-term stability, which represents as excellent performance reported to date for inverted quasi-2D PSCs. 10A functional missense variant in ITIH3 affects protein expression and neurodevelopment and confers schizophrenia risk in the Han Chinese population显示文摘The Psychiatric Genomics Consortium(PGC)has recently identified 10 potential functional coding variants for schizophrenia.However,how these coding variants confer schizophrenia risk remains largely unknown.Here,we investigate the associations between eight potential functional coding variants identified by PGC and schizophrenia in a large Han Chinese sample(n=4022 cases and 9270 controls).Among the eight tested single nucelotide polymorphisms(SNPs),rs3617(a missense variant,p.K315 Q in the ITIH3 gene)showed genome-wide significant association with schizophrenia in the Han Chinese population(P=8.36×10-16),with the same risk allele as in PGC.Interestingly,rs3617 is located in a genomic region that is highly evolutionarily conserved,and its schizophrenia risk allele(C allele)was associated with lower ITIH3 mRNA and protein expression.Intriguingly,mouse neural stem cells stably overexpressing ITIH3 with different alleles of rs3617 exhibited significant differences in proliferation,migration,and differentiation,suggesting the impact of rs3617 on neurodevelopment.Subsequent transcriptome analysis found that the differentially expressed genes in neural stem cells stably overexpressing different alleles of rs3617 were significantly enriched in schizophrenia-related pathways,including cell adhesion,synapse assembly,MAPK and PI3 K-AKT pathways.Our study provides convergent lines of evidence suggesting that rs3617 in ITIH3 likely affects protein function and neurodevelopment and thereby confers risk of schizophrenia.Kaiqin Li Yifan Li Junyang Wang Yongxia Huo Di Huang Shiwu Li Jiewei Liu Xiaoyan Li Rong Liu Xiaogang Chen Yong-Gang Yao Ceshi Chen Xiao Xiao Ming Li Xiong-Jian Luo 2020Journal of Genetics and Genomics2020,47,5:1

14Crypto primitive of MOCVD MoS_(2) transistors for highly secured physical unclonable functions显示文摘Physically unclonable crypto primitives have potential applications for anti-counterfeiting,identification,and authentication,which are clone proof and resistant to variously physical attack.Conventional physical unclonable function(PUF)based on Si complementary metal-oxide-semiconductor(CMOS)technologies greatly suffers from entropy loss and bit instability due to noise sensitivity.Here we grow atomically thick MoS2 thin film and fabricate field-effect transistors(FETs).The inherently physical randomness of MoS2 transistors from materials growth and device fabrication process makes it appropriate for the application of PUF device.We perform electrical characterizations of MoS2 FETs,collect the data from 448 devices,and generate PUF keys by splitting drain current at specific levels to evaluate the response performance.Proper selection of splitting threshold enables to generate binary,ternary,and double binary keys.The generated PUF keys exhibit good randomness and uniqueness,providing a possibility for harvesting highly secured PUF devices with two-dimensional materials.Bangjie Shao Tsz Hin Choy Feichi Zhou Jiewei Chen Cong Wang Yong Ju Park Jong-Hyun Ahn Yang Chai 2021Nano Research2021,14,6:1
15Alloy-buffer-controlled van der Waals epitaxial growth of aligned tellurene显示文摘Group-VI elemental two-dimensional(2D)materials(e.g.,tellurene(Te))have unique crystalline structures and extraordinarily physical properties.However,it still remains a great challenge to controllably grow 2D Te with good repeatability,uniformity,and highly aligned orientation using vapor growth method.Here,we design a Cu foil-assisted alloy-buffer-controlled growth method to epitaxially grow aligned single-crystalline 2D Te on an insulating mica substrate.The in-situ formation of Cu-Te alloy plays a key role on 2D Te growth,alleviating the spatial and temporal non-uniformity of precursor in conventional vapor deposition process.Through transmission electron microscopy(TEM)analysis combined with theoretical calculations,we unveil that the alignment growth of Te in the[110]direction is along the[600]direction of mica,owing to the small lattice mismatch(0.15%)and strong binding strength.This work presents a method to grow aligned high-quality 2D Te in a controllable manner.Cong Wang Chao Xu Xuyun Guo Ning Zhang Jianmin Yan Jiewei Chen Wei Yu Jing-Kai Qin Ye Zhu Lain-Jong Li Yang Chai 2022Nano Research2022,15,6:0
16Multi-attribute-Based Access Control Policy for Supply Chain Data Service显示文摘The Electronic product code(EPC) network is established and maintained in worldwide-scale based on the EPC standard framework to guarantee the real-time information recognition, and provide efficient management for supply chain. In EPC network, a series of data services can be provided due to the requirements of users. Aiming to guarantee the security of data services, we propose a dynamic access control model for data services based on multiple attributes. We extract specific attribute sets from user, and calculate security level of user using certainty and uncertainty theories based on the attribute sets. The data can be provided to users according to the security level of user and data. The security of data in the supply chain can be guaranteed, and data acquisition can be dynamic and fine-grained. 20Designing novel thin film polycrystalline solar cells for high efficiency:sandwich CIGS and heterojunction perovskite显示文摘Heterojunction and sandwich architectures are two new-type structures with great potential for solar cells.Specifically,the heterojunction structure possesses the advantages of efficient charge separation but suffers from band offset and large interface recombination;the sandwich configuration is favorable for transferring carriers but requires complex fabrication process.Here,we have designed two thin-film polycrystalline solar cells with novel structures:sandwich CIGS and heterojunction perovskite,referring to the advantages of the architectures of sandwich perovskite(standard)and heterojunction CIGS(standard)solar cells,respectively.A reliable simulation software wxAMPS is used to investigate their inherent characteristics with variation of the thickness and doping density of absorber layer.The results reveal that sandwich CIGS solar cell is able to exhibit an optimized efficiency of 20.7%,which is much higher than the standard heterojunction CIGS structure(18.48%).The heterojunction perovskite solar cell can be more efficient employing thick and doped perovskite films(16.9%)than these typically utilizing thin and weak-doping/intrinsic perovskite films(9.6%).This concept of structure modulation proves to be useful and can be applicable for other solar cells.Tianyue Wang Jiewei Chen Gaoxiang Wu Dandan Song Meicheng Li 2017Journal of Semiconductors2017,38,1:0
