1Modeling the relationship of land use change and some geophysical indicators for the interlock area of farming and pasturing in China显示文摘This paper discusses land-use changes in the interlock area of farming and pasturing (IAFP)in northern China. It presents detailed analyses of land-use features in the IAFP, which are controlled by the macro geomorphic units and geophysical conditions-constraints or advantages. Additionally, it selects some indicators, according to the availability in acquiring and processing their quantitative data, to analyze the canonical correlations between the typical conversion of grassland and geophysical conditions. The preliminary study indicates that the physical conditions are of great advantages to the development of grassland. 2Genome Characteristics and Evolution of Pseudorabies Virus Strains in Eastern China from 2017 to 2019显示文摘Since late 2011,outbreaks of pseudorabies virus(PRV)have occurred in southern China causing major economic losses to the pig industry.We previously reported that variant PRV forms and recombination in China could be the source of continued epidemics.Here,we analyzed samples from intensive pig farms in eastern China between 2017 and 2019,and sequenced the main glycoproteins(gB,gC,gD,and gE)to study the evolution characteristics of PRV.Based on the gC gene,we found that PRV variants belong to clade 2 and detected a founder effect during by the PRV epidemic.In addition,we detected inter-and intra-clade recombination;in particular,inter-clade recombination in the gB genes of strains FJ-ZXF and FJ-W2,which were recombinant with clade 1 strains.We also found specific amino-acid changes and positively selected sites,possibly associated with functional changes.This analysis of the emergence of PRV in China illustrates the need for continuous monitoring and the development of vaccines against specific variants of PRV.Xiaofeng Zhai Wen Zhao Kemang Li Cheng Zhang Congcong Wang Shuo Su Jiyong Zhou Jing Lei Gang Xing Haifeng Sun Zhiyu Shi Jinyan Gu 2019Virologica Sinica2019,34,6:12
3Late Cretaceous palynology and paleoclimate change:Evidence from the SK1(South) core, Songliao Basin, NE China显示文摘Cretaceous climate was warmer than today.The Songliao Basin contains one of the most important Late Cretaceous non-marine deposits in China for the research of the paleoenvironment and paleoclimate.This research is based on core samples from the SK1(S)borehole.The strata sampled are the upper part of the Quantou Formation to member 2 of the Nenjiang Formation,where spores,pollen,dinoflagellates,and other microfossils are abundantly preserved.Based on analysis of the spores and pollen fossils from the core samples,the following six fossil assemblage zones have been recognized in ascending order:The Cicatricosisporites-Cyathidites-Pinuspollenites,Schizaeoisporites-Cyathidites-Classopollis,Cyathidites-Schizaeoisporites,Schizaeoisporites-Cyathidites-Proteacidites,Proteacidites-Cyathidites-Dictyotriletes,and the Lythraites-Callistipollenites-Schizaeoisporites zones.The six fossil zones range from the late Cenomanian to early Campanian.The Late Cretaceous dinoflagellate cysts in the Songliao Basin are of high abundance and low diversity.Specific phytoplankton types reflect salinity changes of the Songliao Lake.Paleoecology of the dinoflagellates suggests that sediments of members 2 and 3 of the Yaojia Formation(K2y2+3)were deposited in a freshwater environment,whereas members 2 and 3 of the Qingshankou Formation(K2q2+3)and members 1 and 2 of the Nenjiang Formation(K2n1+2)were deposited in freshwater to brackish water environments.Combined with the paleoecology of dinoflagellates and the palynomorph biozones,valuable information of the paleoclimate was provided.The quantitative analyses of spores and pollen fossils,such as vegetation type,climate type,and humidity type,diversity and dominance,indicate a relatively sub-humid,mid-subtropical paleoclimate,with slight climatic fluctuation and/or temporal change.ZHAO Jing WAN XiaoQiao XI DangPeng JING Xia LI Wei HUANG QingHua ZHANG JinYan 2014Science China Earth Sciences2014,57,12:10
4Recent progress of nanogenerators acting as biomedical sensors in vivo显示文摘Since the nanogenerator(NG) was invented in 2006, it has been successfully developed and utilized to harvest various forms of mechanical energy in vivo. The NGs promote the progress of self-powered biomedical devices. Moreover, NGs can also be used as sensors to detect a variety of important physiological signals, which brings us closer to real-time, high-fidelity monitoring of physical and pathological information. This paper summarizes the in vivo applications of NGs as biomedical sensors, including in cardiac sensors, respiration sensors, blood pressure sensors, gastrointestinal sensors and bladder sensors.However, there are still many challenges in using NGs as sensors in vivo. For example, how can we minimize and encapsulate the NGs, how can we increase the stability and reliability during long-term detection, and how can we establish a corresponding relationship between the NG’s electrical output and the physiological signals. It is also critical to follow the medical principles more closely in the development of self-powered sensors in the future. 6Geniposide, the component of the Chinese herbal formula Tongluojiunao, protects amyloid-β peptide(1–42)-mediated death of hippocampal neurons via the non-classical estrogen signaling pathway显示文摘Tongluojiunao(TLJN) is an herbal medicine consisting of two main components, geniposide and ginsenoside Rg1. TLJN has been shown to protect primary cultured hippocampal neurons. However, its mechanism of action remains unclear. In the present study, primary cultured hippocampal neurons treated with Aβ1–42(10 μmol/L) significantly increased the release of lactate dehydrogenase, which was markedly reduced by TLJN(2 μL/mL), specifically by the component geniposide(26 μmol/L), but not ginsenoside Rg1(2.5 μmol/L). The estrogen receptor inhibitor, ICI182780(1 μmol/L), did not block TLJN- or geniposide-mediated decrease of lactate dehydrogenase under Aβ1–42-exposed conditions. However, the phosphatidyl inositol 3-kinase or mitogen-activated protein kinase pathway inhibitor, LY294002(50 μmol/L) or U0126(10 μmol/L), respectively blo cked the decrease of lactate dehydrogenase mediated by TLJN or geniposide. 8Building highly active hybrid double-atom sites in C_(2)N for enhanced electrocatalytic hydrogen peroxide synthesis显示文摘Two-electron(2 e^(-))oxygen reduction reaction(ORR)shows great promise for on-site electrochemical synthesis of hydrogen peroxide(H_(2)O_(2)).However,it is still a great challenge to design efficient electrocatalysts for H_(2)O_(2)synthesis.To address this issue,the logical design of the active site by controlling the geometric and electronic structures is urgently desired.Therefore,using density functional theory(DFT)computations,two kinds of hybrid double-atom supported on C_(2)N nanosheet(RuCu@C_(2)N and PdCu@C_(2)N)are screened out and their H_(2)O_(2)performances are predicted.PdCu@C_(2)N exhibits higher activity for H_(2)O_(2)synthesis with a lower overpotential of 0.12 V than RuCu@C_(2)N(0.59 V),Ru_(3)Cu(110)facet(0.60 V),and PdCu(110)facet(0.54 V).In aqueous phase,the adsorbed O_(2)is further stabilized with bulk H_(2)0 and the thermodynamic rate-determining step of 2 e^(-) ORR change.The activation barrier on PdCu@C_(2)N is 0.43 eV lower than the one on RuCu@C_(2)N with 0.68 eV.PdCu@C_(2)N is near the top of 2 e^(-) ORR volcano plot,and exhibits high selectivity of H_(2)O_(2.)This work provides guidelines for designing highly effective hybrid double-atom electrocatalysts(HDACs)for H_(2)O_(2)synthesis.Yongyong Cao JinYan Zhao Xing Zhong Guilin Zhuang Shengwei Deng Zhongzhe Wei Zihao Yao Jianguo Wang 2021Green Energy & Environment2021,6,6:2

11Performance of LED with mixed wavelengths or two-phase culture on the growth and lipid accumulation of Chlorella pyrenoidosa显示文摘Chlorella pyrenoidosa,a type of lipid-rich green algae,features broad prospects for application in such fields as healthy foods,biodiesel and so on.The light-utilizing efficiency of the cells is a critical factor that influences the biomass and lipid contents of photoautotrophic microalgae.Inconsistent illumination wavelengths hinder microalgal growth.The patterns about the impacts of mixed light emitting diode(LED)wavelengths or two-phase culture over the growth and lipid accumulation of Chlorella pyrenoidosa were reported.Among the different LED wavelengths(white,purple,blue,green,yellow and red)at the light intensity of 200μmol/m2·s tested,red and green gave maximum biomass and lipid contents,respectively.Based on the discovery,two-phase(red was illuminated for 12 d in the first phase,and then shifted to green light for 8 d in the second phase,R→G)or mixed LED(R:G=3:7 or R:G=7:3)culture protocol was adopted for the high lipid-accumulation of Chlorella pyrenoidosa.The results indicated that the lipid contents of Chlorella pyrenoidosa treated with two-phase(R→G)or mixed LED culture was significantly higher than that of white light with the same intensity(p<0.05),and the highest lipid-accumulation rate was 26.37 mg/L·d in the two-phase culture.Fatty acid(FA)analysis showed that 13 types FAs were detected and unsaturated FAs were over 50%(w/w).26.8%-27.7%(w/w)palmitic acid(C16:0)was the major saturated FA,while the largest proportions of monounsaturated FA and polyunsaturated FA were oleic acid(C18:1)and linoleic acid(C18:2),respectively.Additionally,although no difference in the FA composition of Chlorella pyrenoidosa treated with different protocols was found,the absolute content did differ significantly,coinciding with that of the total lipids.Furthermore,the ratio of unsaturated FAs in Chlorella pyrenoidosa was significantly increased under the mixed LED(R:G=7:3)(p<0.05).Bingquan Chu Jiewei Zhao Huimin Zheng Jinyan Gong Kai Chen Suwan Zhang Gongnian Xiao Yong He 2021International Journal of Agricultural and Biological Engineering2021,14,1:1
12Achieving simultaneous Cu particles anchoring in meso-porous TiO_(2) nanofabrication for enhancing photo-catalytic CO_(2) reduction through rapid charge separation显示文摘A facile solvo-thermal approach was successfully employed to prepare titanium oxide (TiO_(2)) nano-aggregates with simultaneous copper particles anchoring. The as-synthesized composite could convert CO_(2) into CH_(4) and CO products under simulated solar irradiation. The impact of copper loading amounts on the photo-reduction capability was evaluated. It was found proper amount of Cu loading could enhance the activity of CO_(2) photo-reduction. As a result, the optimal composite (TiO_(2)^(-)Cu-5%) consisting of TiO_(2) supported with 5% (mole ratio) Cu exhibits 2.2 times higher CH_(4) yield and 3 times higher CO yield compared with pure TiO_(2). Conduction band calculated from the band gap and valence X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS) indicated TiO_(2) nano-aggregates have suitable band edge alignment with respect to the CO_(2)/CH_(4) and CO_(2)/CO redox potential. Furthermore, with involving of Cu particles, an efficient separation of photo-generated charges was achieved on the basis of photocurrent response and photoluminescence spectra results, which contributed to the improved photo-catalytic performance. 15A first-principles study of reaction mechanism over carbon decorated oxygen-deficient TiO_(2) supported Pd catalyst in direct synthesis of H_(2)O_(2)显示文摘The choice of support is one of the most significant components in the direct synthesis of H_(2)O_(2).Aiming to improvement of activity and selectivity of H_(2)O_(2) on Pd/TiO_(2) surface,we systematically investigated the important elementary steps on Pd/TiO_(2)-Vo@C,Pd/TiO_(2)-Vo,Pd/TiO_(2)-2 Vo,Pd/TiO_(2),and Pd/C using the first-principles calculations.The Bader charge analysis and charge density difference of O_(2) adsorption elucidate the relationship between the electronic distribution and chemisorption energy.The effective barrier analysis further enables to quantitatively estimate the reactivity of H_(2)O_(2) and H2O.We demonstrate unambiguously that the selectivity of H2O formation is boosted as the oxygen vacancy concentration raised.Moreover,the introduction of C into a TiO_(2) with appropriate oxygen vacancies can slightly reduce the effective barrier for H_(2)O_(2) formation and increase the effective barrier for H2O formation leading to a higher activity and selectivity of H_(2)O_(2) formation.Our finding suggests that carbon-doped oxygen vacancy TiO_(2) supported Pd is potential alternative catalyst compared with the Pd/TiO_(2).Zihao Yao Jinyan Zhao Chenxia Zhao Shengwei Deng Guilin Zhuang Xing Zhong Zhongzhe Wei Yang Li Shibin Wang Jianguo Wang 2021Chinese Journal of Chemical Engineering2021,34,3:1

20A hybrid bacterium with tumor-associated macrophage polarization for enhanced photothermal-immunotherapy显示文摘Remodeling the tumor microenvironment through reprogramming tumor-associated macrophages(TAMs) and increasing the immunogenicity of tumors via immunogenic cell death(ICD) have been emerging as promising anticancer immunotherapy strategies.However,the heterogeneous distribution of TAMs in tumor tissues and the heterogeneity of the tumor cells make the immune activation challenging.To overcome these dilemmas,a hybrid bacterium with tumor targeting and penetration,TAM polarization,and photo thermal conversion capabilities is developed for improving antitumor immunotherapy in vivo.The hybrid bacteria(B.b@QDs) are prepared by loading Ag;S quantum dots(QDs) on the Bifidobacterium bifidum(B.b) through electrostatic interactions.The hybrid bacteria with hypoxia targeting ability can effectively accumulate and penetrate the tumor tissues,enabling the B.b to fully contact with the TAMs and mediate their polarization toward M1 phenotype to reverse the immunosuppressive tumor microenvironment.It also enables to overcome the intratumoral heterogeneity and obtain abundant tumor-associated antigens by coupling tumor penetration of the B.b with photo thermal effect of the QDs,resulting in an enhanced immune effect.This strategy that combines B.b-triggered TAM polarization and QD-induced ICD achieved a remarkable inhibition of tumor growth in orthotopic breast cancer.Jingya Zhao Huabei Huang Jinyan Zhao Xiang Xiong Sibo Zheng Xiaoqing Wei Shaobing Zhou 2022Acta Pharmaceutica Sinica B2022,12,6:1
