1Active injection protection scheme for flexible HVDC grids based on amplitude of input impedance显示文摘High-voltage direct current(HVDC)grids require fast and reliable protection of the DC lines.The performance of traditional protection schemes is easily impaired by the limitations of the boundary condition and nonlinearity from the control of converters.One of the key technologies for flexible HVDC grids is the half-bridge modular multilevel converter(HB-MMC).Considering the high controllability of HB-MMC,this study proposes an active injection protection scheme to improve the reliability and sensitivity of the HVDC grid protection.The HB-MMC is used to inject a sinusoidal characteristic signal,at the specified frequency,into the DC lines.Then,the voltage and current at the specified frequency are extracted using the Prony algorithm to calculate the input impedance,which is used for the identification of internal and external faults.The active injection protection scheme was simulated for various cases in the simulation software Power Systems Computer Aided Design.The simulation results indicate that the proposed protection scheme is highly reliable and can overcome transition resistance.Jinghan He Keao Chen Meng Li Yong Tang Ming Nie 2021Global Energy Interconnection2021,4,6:11
2Dynamic Load Restoration Considering the Interdependencies Between Power Distribution Systems and Urban Transportation Systems显示文摘After a major outage,mobile emergency resources(MERs)can be dispatched via the transportation system(TS)for service restoration to critical loads in the power distribution system(PDS).In this case study,the efficiency of service restoration in the PDS is associated with the traffic efficiency of the TS,and vice versa,because the PDS and TS are mutually coupled through traffic lights and MERs.This paper proposes a service restoration method considering interdependency between the PDS and TS,which is formulated as a mixed-integer linear program(MILP).The objective includes maximizing the efficiency of both PDS restoration and TS.By solving the MILP,the dynamic load restoration and MER dispatch strategies can be obtained.For the PDS,the availability of MERs,including mobile sources and repair crews,relates to their dispatch in the TS,and their relationship is formulated as mathematical models.For the TS,the dynamic traffic flow is modeled using the cell transmission model and the effect of traffic lights is considered.Case studies validate the effectiveness of the proposed method.Ying Wang Yin Xu Jiaxu Li Chen Li Jinghan He Jiayu Liu Qiqi Zhang 2020CSEE Journal of Power and Energy Systems2020,6,4:9

4Mapping and validation of a dominant salt tolerance gene in the cultivated soybean(Glycine max) variety Tiefeng 8显示文摘Salt is an abiotic stress factor that strongly affects soybean growth and production. A single dominant gene has been shown to confer salt tolerance in the soybean cultivar Tiefeng 8.The objective of the present study was to genetically map the salt-tolerance gene in an F2:3population and a recombinant inbred line(RIL) population derived from a cross between two cultivated soybeans, Tiefeng 8(tolerant) and 85-140(sensitive). The F2:3families and RILs were treated with 200 mmol L-1Na Cl to evaluate salt tolerance. The F2:3population showed 1(42 tolerant): 2(132 segregating): 1(65 sensitive) segregation, indicating a single dominant gene for salt tolerance in Tiefeng 8. A sequence-characterized amplified region(SCAR) marker from a previously identified random amplified polymorphic DNA(RAPD)marker and four insertion/deletion polymorphism(In Del) markers were developed within the mapping region. Using these markers along with SSR markers, the salt-tolerance gene was mapped within 209 kb flanked by SCAR marker QS08064 and SSR marker Barcsoyssr_3_1301 on chromosome 3. Three markers that cosegregated with the salt tolerance gene and SCAR marker QS08064 were used to genotype 35 tolerant and 23 sensitive soybean accessions. These markers showed selection efficiencies of 76.2% to94.2%. 6First experimental constraints on WIMP couplings in the effective field theory framework from CDEX显示文摘We present weakly interacting massive particles(WIMPs) search results performed using two approaches of effective field theory from the China Dark Matter Experiment(CDEX), based on the data from both CDEX-1B and CDEX-10 stages. In the nonrelativistic effective field theory approach, both time-integrated and annual modulation analyses were used to set new limits for the coupling of WIMP-nucleon effective operators at 90% confidence level(C.L.) and improve over the current bounds in the low mχregion. In the chiral effective field theory approach, data from CDEX-10 were used to set an upper limit on WIMP-pion coupling at 90% C.L. 7First results on ^(76)Ge neutrinoless double beta decay from CDEX-1 experiment显示文摘We report the first results on ^(76)Ge neutrinoless double beta decay from stage one of the China dark-matter experiment(CDEX).A p-type point-contact high-purity germanium detector with a mass of 994 g has been installed to detect neutrinoless double beta decay events, as well as to directly detect dark matter particles. An exposure of 304 kg d has been analyzed over a wide spectral band from 500 keV to 3 MeV. The average event rate obtained was about 0.012 counts per keV per kg per day over the 2.039 MeV energy range. The half-life of ^(76)Ge neutrinoless double beta decay derived based on this result is T^(0ν)1/2>6.4×10^(22) yr(90% C.L.). 10Study on lightning protection scheme of multi-terminal MMC-MVDC distribution system显示文摘Based on a±10 kV three-terminal MMC-MVDC(medium voltage DC distribution system based on modular multilevel converter)system,in this study,the authors mainly study on the influencing factors and protection schemes of the lightning intruding overvoltage(including direct lightning and back-flashover lightning).Firstly,a lightning intruding overvoltage simulation model of the MMC-MVDC distribution system using overhead lines is established based on the PSCAD/EMTDC program.The influence of steady-state operating voltage and the number of converter stations on the simulation results are simulated and analysed.Meanwhile,the proper simulation modelling method of the lightning intruding overvoltage for multi-terminal MMC-MVDC system is proposed.Secondly,the lightning intruding overvoltage is simulated when the line is struck by the lightning stroke current that occurs once in 20 years and the different lightning protection schemes are proposed.Finally,based on the lightning impulse withstand voltage,lightning trip-out rate and the cost of the protection schemes,the lightning protection schemes in different scenarios are proposed.The simulation results show that if the cost of the system is prioritised,the protection scheme of increasing the number of parallel stacks of the DL arresters can be selected,and if the power supply reliability of the system is prioritised,the protection scheme of installing the overhead ground wire as well as reducing grounding resistance can be selected.Yuqun Gao Yongxia Han Fanglei Xiao Changfu Chen Jinghan Zhang Jie Zhang Yaqi Zhang Licheng Li 2020High Voltage2020,5,5:1

13Enhanced mass transfer in three-dimensional single-atom nickel catalyst with open-pore structure for highly efficient CO_(2) electrolysis显示文摘Design of efficient catalysts for electrochemical reduction of carbon dioxide (CO_(2)) with high selectivity and activity is of great challenge, but significant for managing the global carbon balance. Herein, a series of three-dimensional (3D) single-atom metals anchored on graphene networks (3D SAM-G) with open-pore structure were successfully mass-produced via a facile in-situ calcination technique assisted by NaCl template. As-obtained 3D SANi-G electrode delivers excellent CO Faradaic efficiency (FE) of >96% in the potential range of −0.6 to −0.9 V versus reversible hydrogen electrode (RHE) and a high current density of 66.27 mA cm^(−2) at −1.0 V versus RHE, outperforming most of the previously reported catalysts tested in H-type cells. Simulations indicate that enhanced mass transport within the 3D open-pore structure effectively increases the catalytically active sites, which in turn leads to simultaneous enhancement on selectivity and activity of 3D SANi-G toward CO_(2) electroreduction. 14Significant histological changes are not rare in indeterminate‐phase chronic hepatitis B patients with hepatitis B e antigen‐negative and normal alanine aminotransferase levels显示文摘Background&Objectives:The degree of liver injury in indeterminate chronic hepatitis B(CHB)infection patients with Hepatitis B e antigen(HBeAg)‐negative and persistently normal alanine aminotransferase(PNALT)levels is yet unclear.Therefore,we aimed to assess liver histological changes in such patients by liver biopsy and explore possible predictors.Methods:Overall,711 HBeAg‐negative CHB patients with PNALT levels who underwent liver biopsy from January 2017 to June 2022 were included in this retrospective study.The relationships between histological changes and predictors were assessed by smooth curve fitting and multivariate logistic regression analysis models.Data were also analyzed using American Association for the Study of Liver Disease(AASLD)modified alanine aminotransferase(ALT)criteria.Results:The proportion of significant histological changes in the indeterminate phase was higher than that in the inactive phase(53.97%vs.41.33%).The adjusted odds ratios(aORs)of significant necroinflammation and histological changes for the indeterminate phase were 2.05 and 1.43,respectively,when compared with the inactive phase by multivariate logistic regression analyses.Significant histological changes in the‐phase were positively associated with age,ALT,Aspartate aminotransferase(AST),Hepatitis B surface antigen(HBsAg),and Hepatitis B virus(HBV)DNA levels but negatively correlated with platelet(PLT)levels.HBV DNA≥5 log10 U/L and PLT<200�109/L were independent predictive factors for assessing histological changes in indeterminate‐phase patients.Similar analysis findings were obtained using the two sets of modified ALT criteria.Conclusions:Significant histological changes are not rare in indeterminatephase CHB patients and are higher than in the inactive phase,regardless of the ALT criteria.Histological investigation is strongly suggested for intermediate stage patients with HBV DNA>5 log10 U/L or PLT<200�109/L and antiviral therapy should be considered for such patients.Deliang Huang Guangde Zhou Jinghan Peng Qinxian Cai Guojun Li Hong Yu Zhibing Zhu Yuanyuan Chen Huiyi Lai Jinyan Jiang Hong Yu Jun Chen 2023iLABMED2023,1,3:0
15Comparative characterization of antibody responses induced by Ad5-vectored spike proteins of emerging SARS-CoV-2 VOCs显示文摘Highly divergent SARS-CoV-2 variants have continuously emerged and spread around the world,and updated vaccines and innovative vaccination strategies are urgently needed to address the global SARS-COV2 pandemic.Here,we established a series of Ad5-vectored SARS-CoV-2 variant vaccines encoding multiple spike proteins derived from the Alpha,Beta,Gamma,Epsilon,Kappa,Delta and Omicron lineages and analyzed the antibody immune responses induced by single-dose and prime-boost vaccination strategies against emerging SARS-CoV-2 variants of concern(VOCs).Single-dose vaccination with SARS-CoV-2 variant vaccines tended to elicit the optimal self-matched neutralizing effects,and Ad5-B.1.351 produced more broad-spectrum cross-neutralizing antibodies against diverse variants.In contrast,prime-boost vaccination further strengthened and broadened the neutralizing antibody responses against highly divergent SARS-CoV-2 variants.The heterologous administration of Ad5-B.1.617.2 and Ad5-B.1.429 to Ad5-WT-primed mice resulted in superior antibody responses against most VOCs.In particular,the Omicron spike could only stimulate self-matched neutralizing antibodies with infrequent cross-reactivities to other variants used in single-dose vaccination strategies;moreover,with prime-boost regimens,this vaccine elicited an optimal specific neutralizing antibody response to Omicron,and prompted cross-antibody responses against other VOCs that were very similar to those obtained with Ad5-WT booster.Overall,this study delineated the unique characteristics of antibody responses to the SARS-CoV-2 VOC spikes with the single-dose or prime-boost vaccination strategies and provided insight into the vaccine development of next SARS-CoV-2 VOCs.Busen Wang Jinghan Xu Shipo Wu Zhe Zhang Zhenghao Zhao Jun Zhang Ling Fu Xiaodong Zai Yudong Wang Guanying Zhang ZhengShan Chen Yi Chen Hancong Sun Xiaohong Song Jinlong Zhang Lianhui Zhu Lihua Hou Wei Chen 2022Signal Transduction and Targeted Therapy2022,7,8:0

17“On Water”Effect for Green Click Reaction:Spontaneous Polymerization of Activated Alkyne with“Inert”Aromatic Amine in Aqueous Media显示文摘Organic reactions in water have attracted great attention due to their advantages such as unique reaction performance and environmental friendliness.Organic reactions as well as polymerizations in aqueous media have been extensively investigated,and so far,there has been a massive amount of reporting about polymerizations in water.However,reports about click polymerization in water have been rare.Herein,click polymerization of activated alkyne and aromatic amine in aqueous media is developed.The“on water”effect facilitates polymerization in aqueous media better than in organic solvents,and its mechanism is deciphered through experimental data and theoretical calculations.Water participates in the reaction and reduces the energy barrier to some extent.Besides,polymerization makes it possible for aromatic amine with low reactivity to be linked.By using this strategy,polymers with high molecular weights can be obtained in high yields(up to 95.4%).They show good thermal stability and high refractivity.They can be photodegraded.The polymers with tetraphenylethylene moieties show aggregation-induced emission and can be used as materials for generating photopatterns and visualizing agents for specific staining of lysosome in living cells.Xinyue Liu Chen Zhang Lianrui Hu Jinghan Wang Kai Li Hai-Tao Feng Jacky WYLam Benzhao He Ben Zhong Tang 2023CCS Chemistry2023,5,2:0

19Sodium titanate nanowires for Na^(+) -based hybrid energy storage with high power density显示文摘It is crucial to enhance the rate capability of the titanium-based materials for fulfilling their promising potential as the anode materials of sodium-ion bat-teries(SIBs).Herein,Mn-doped sodium titanate(Mn-NTO)nanowires with homogeneously distributed ultrathin carbon nanosheets(Mn-NTO@C)are syn-thesized by a one-step salt-template-assisted method,showing much-enhanced power density.The as-prepared Mn-NTO@C demonstrates the realization of hybrid energy storage,which reconciles the diffusion-controlled behavior with the pseudocapacitive-controlled behavior.It has been revealed that the Mn heteroatoms can raise the proportion of Na_(2)Ti_(3)O_(7) phase with the expanded crystal lattice,facilitating the diffusion-controlled insertion/extraction process of sodium ions.Meanwhile,the hybrid morphology of Mn-NTO nanowires and carbon nanosheets provides a promoted structure stability.Asaresult,theassem-bled Na||Mn-NTO@C half-cells work well at an extreme current density of 24 A g^(−1) for 10000 cycles with a capacity retention of 95.2%.Moreover,the Mn-NTO@C||Na _(3) V_(2)(PO_(4))_(3)(NVP)full cells exhibit an attenuation of only 0.0015%per cycle at 20 A g^(−1) for over 10000 cycles,and the energy density and power density of the full cells reachan ultrahigh level of 262 Wh kg−1 and 16.3 kW kg−1,respectively.Zuo Jinghan Liu Zeyu Jiang Huaning Chen Qian Yang Zhilin Gu Xiaokang Jiao Yuying Gong Yongji 2022SusMat2022,2,6:0
20Sugarcane leaves-derived polyphenols alleviate metabolic syndrome and modulate gut microbiota of ob/ob mice显示文摘Sugarcane leaves-derived polyphenols(SLP)have been demonstrated to have diverse health-promoting benefits,but the mechanism of action has not been fully elucidated.This study aimed to investigate the anti-metabolic disease effects of SLP and the underlying mechanisms in mice.In the current study,we prepared the SLP mainly consisting of three flavonoid glycosides,three phenol derivatives,and two lignans including one new compound,and further demonstrated that SLP reduced body weight gain and fat accumulation,improved glucose and lipid metabolism disorders,ameliorated hepatic steatosis,and regulated short-chain fatty acids(SCFAs)production and secondary bile acids metabolism in ob/ob mice.Notably,SLP largely altered the gut microbiota composition,especially enriching the commensal bacteria Akkermansia muciniphila and Bacteroides acidifaciens.Oral gavage with the above two strains ameliorated metabolic syndrome(MetS),regulated secondary bile acid metabolism,and increased the production of SCFAs in high-fat diet(HFD)-induced obese mice.These results demonstrated that SLP could be used as a prebiotic to attenuate MetS via regulating gut microbiota composition and further activating the secondary bile acids-mediated gut-adipose axis.Li Sun Tao Wang Baosong Chen Cui Guo Shanshan Qiao Jinghan Lin Huan Liao Huanqin Dai Bin Wang Jingzu Sun Hongwei Liu 2024Food Science and Human Wellness2024,13,2:0
