1Optical orbital angular momentum multiplexing communication via inversely-designed multiphase plane light conversion显示文摘Multiplexing and demultiplexing of optical orbital angular momentum(OAM)are critical operations in modedivision multiplexing communications.Traditional Dammann gratings,spiral phase planes,and optical geometric transformations are regarded as convenient methods for OAM mode(de)multiplexing.However,crosstalk between the different modes and the difficulty of mode multiplexing greatly limit their application to modedivision multiplexing communications.Here,using a set of inversely-designed phase planes,we demonstrate an OAM(de)multiplexer based on multiphase plane light conversion that can enable perfect OAM multiplexing communication.The sorted patterns are Gaussian-like and can be coupled easily into single-mode fiber arrays.Inputs from the fiber array are turned into coaxial OAM modes after the phase planes.OAM mode crosstalk generated by the multiplexer is less than-20 d B,with insertion loss of less than 2.6 d B.OAM modes are sorted by the demultiplexer with mode crosstalk below-10 d B,and the sorting results are coupled to the fiber array.OAM modes carrying 10 Gbit/s on–off keying signals were transmitted in a 5 km few-mode fiber.The measured bit-error-rate curves have power penalties of less than 10 d B.The proposed configuration is highly efficient and convenient and will be beneficial for potential applications in quantum information,information processing,and optical communications.JUNCHENG FANG JINPEI LI ARU KONG YOUPENG XIE CHUXUAN LIN ZHENWEI XIE TING LEI XIAOCONG YUAN 2022Photonics Research2022,10,9:3
2All-in-One Deposition to Synergistically Manipulate Perovskite Growth for High-Performance Solar Cell显示文摘Nonradiative recombination losses originating from crystallographic distortions and issues occurring upon interface formation are detrimental for the photovoltaic performance of perovskite solar cells.Herein,we incorporated a series of carbamide molecules(urea,biuret,or triuret)consisting of both Lewis base(-NH2)and Lewis acid(-C=O)groups into the perovskite precursor to simultaneously eliminate the bulk and interface defects.Depending on the different coordination ability with perovskite component,the incorporated molecules can either modify crystallization dynamics allowing for large crystal growth at low temperature(60℃),associate with antisite or undercoordinated ions for defect passivation,or accumulate at the surface as an energy cascade layer to enhance charge transfer,respectively.Synergistic benefits of the above functions can be obtained by rationally optimizing additive combinations in an all-in-one deposition method.As a result,a champion efficiency of 21.6%with prolonged operational stability was achieved in an inverted MAPbI3 perovskite solar cell by combining biuret and triuret additives.The simplified all-in-one fabrication procedure,adaptable to different types of perovskites in terms of pure MAPbI3,mixed perovskite,and all-inorganic perovskite,provides a cost-efficient and reproducible way to obtain high-performance inverted perovskite solar cells.Yifan Lv Hui Zhang Jinpei Wang Libao Chen Lifang Bian Zhongfu An Zongyao Qian Guoqi Ren Jie Wu Frank Nuesch Wei Huang 2020Research2020,,1:2
3Effect of air masses motion on the rapid change of aerosols in marine atmosphere显示文摘The impact of air masses motion on marine aerosol properties was investigated using an on-board single particle mass spectrometer(SPAMS) deployed for the determination of single particle size resolved chemical composition over Southeast China Sea. Two aerosol blooms(E1 and E2) were observed during the cruise. High average particle number count occurred in E1(7320), followed by E2(5850), which was more than 100–150 times of the average particle number count during normal periods. Particles were classified as four major sources, including continental source, shipping source, marine source, and transport source based on the mass spectral similarity. Transport source was identified as those particles with high particle number count occurred only during aerosol bloom period. Three sub-types of EC-Ca, OC-Ca, and Al-rich were classified as transport source.EC-Ca was the dominant particles of the transport source, accounting for more than 70%of the total particles in aerosol bloom events. A uni-modal size distribution in the size range of 0.1–2.0 μm was observed during normal period, while a bimodal distribution with a tiny mode(<0.3 μm) and a coarse mode between 0.4 and 0.6 μm was present during aerosol bloom. 4Seasonal variations in aerosol compositions at Great Wall Station in Antarctica显示文摘High volume aerosol samplers at Great Wall Station in Antarctica were used to collect 73 aerosol samples between January 2012 and November 2013. The main ions in these aerosol samples, Cl-, NO3-, SO42-, Na+, K+, Ca2+, Mg2+, NH4+, as well as methane sulfonic acid, were analyzed using ion chromatography. Trace metals in these samples, including Pb, Cu, Cd, V, Zn, Fe, and Al, were determined by inductively-coupled plasma mass spectrometry. Results showed that sea salt was the main component in aerosols at Great Wall Station. Most ions exhibited significant seasonal variations, with higher concentrations in summer and autumn than in winter and spring. Variations in ions and trace metals were related to several processes(or sources), including sea salt emission, secondary aerosol formation, and anthropogenic pollution from both local and distant sources. The sources of ions and trace metals were identified using enrichment factor, correlation, and factor analyses. 12Pollutants identification of ambient aerosols by two types of aerosol mass spectrometers over southeast coastal area, China显示文摘Two different aerosol mass spectrometers, Aerodyne Aerosol Mass Spectrometer(AMS) and Single Particle Aerosol Mass Spectrometer(SPAMS) were deployed to identify the aerosol pollutants over Xiamen, representing the coastal urban area. Five obvious processes were classified during the whole observation period. Organics and sulfate were the dominant components in ambient aerosols over Xiamen. Most of the particles were in the size range of 0.2–1.0 μm, accounting for over 97% of the total particles measured by both instruments.Organics, as well as sulfate, measured by AMS were in good correlation with measured by SPAMS. However, high concentration of NH4+was obtained by AMS, while extremely low value of NH4+was detected by SPAMS. Contrarily, high particle number counts of NO3-and Clwere given by SPAMS while low concentrations of NO3-and Cl-were measured by AMS. The variations of POA and SOA obtained from SPAMS during event 1 and event 2 were in accordance with the analysis of HOA and OOA given by AMS, suggesting that both of AMS and SPAMS can well identify the organic clusters of aerosol particles.
