| 4 | Seasonal Variations of Net-Phytoplankton Community Structure in the Southern Yellow Sea显示文摘Based on the field survey data of four cruises in 2011,all phytoplankton communities in the southern Yellow Sea (SYS) were investigated for the species composition,dominant species,abundance and diversity indices.A total of 379 species belonging to9 phyla were identified,of which the most abundant group was Bacillariophyta (60.9%) ,followed by Pyrrophyta (23.7%) and Haptophyta (6.9%) .The seasonal distribution of abundance was:summer (4137.1×103ind m 3) >spring (3940.4×103ind m 3) >winter (3010.6×103ind m 3) >autumn (340.8×103ind m 3) ,while the horizontal distribution showed a decreasing tendency from inshore to offshore regions.The dominant species of phytoplankton varied in different seasons.The dominant species were Thalassiosira pacifica,Skeletoema spp.and Chaetoceros cinctus in spring,Chaetoceros debbilis,Chaetoceros pseudocurvisetus and Chaetoceros curvisetus in summer,Thalassiosira curviseriata,Alexandrium catenella and Ceratium fusus in autumn,Paralia sulcata,Phaeocystis sp.and Bacillaria paradoxa in winter,respectively.In SYS,the group of temperate coastal species was the major ecotype,and the groups of the central SYS species and oceanic species were also important constituents.The average values of Shannon-Weaver diversity index (H’) and Pielou evenness index (J) were 2.37 and 0.65 respectively.The indices H’and J in the open sea were higher than those in coastal waters.Obvious co-variation tendencies between H’and J were observed in all but the summer cruise of this survey. | GAO Yu JIANG Zhibing LIU Jingjing CHEN Quanzhen ZENG Jiangning HUANG Wei | 2013 | Journal of Ocean University of China2013,12,4: | 10 |

| 7 | Integrated histopathological,lipidomic,and metabolomic profiles reveal mink is a useful animal model to mimic the pathogenicity of severe COVID-19 patients显示文摘Severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2(SARS-CoV-2)is transmitted on mink farms between minks and humans in many countries.However,the systemic pathological features of SARS-CoV-2-infected minks are mostly unknown.Here,we demonstrated that minks were largely permissive to SARS-CoV-2,characterized by severe and diffuse alveolar damage,and lasted at least 14 days post inoculation(dpi).We first reported that infected minks displayed multiple organ-system lesions accompanied by an increased inflammatory response and widespread viral distribution in the cardiovascular,hepatobiliary,urinary,endocrine,digestive,and immune systems.The viral protein partially co-localized with activated Mac-2+macrophages throughout the body.Moreover,we first found that the alterations in lipids and metabolites were correlated with the histological lesions in infected minks,especially at 6 dpi,and were similar to that of patients with severe and fatal COVID-19.Particularly,altered metabolic pathways,abnormal digestion,and absorption of vitamins,lipids,cholesterol,steroids,amino acids,and proteins,consistent with hepatic dysfunction,highlight metabolic and immune dysregulation.Enriched kynurenine in infected minks contributed to significant activation of the kynurenine pathway and was related to macrophage activation.Melatonin,which has significant anti-inflammatory and immunomodulating effects,was significantly downregulated at 6 dpi and displayed potential as a targeted medicine.Our data first illustrate systematic analyses of infected minks to recapitulate those observations in severe and fetal COVID-19 patients,delineating a useful animal model to mimic SARS-CoV-2-induced systematic and severe pathophysiological features and provide a reliable tool for the development of effective and targeted treatment strategies,vaccine research,and potential biomarkers. | Zhiqi Song Linlin Bao Wei Deng Jiangning Liu Erjun Ren Qi Lv Mingya Liu Feifei Qi Ting Chen Ran Deng Fengdi Li Yunpeng Liu Qiang Wei Hong Gao Pin Yu Yunlin Han Wenjie Zhao Junjun Zheng Xujian Liang Fuhe Yang Chuan Qin | 2022 | Signal Transduction and Targeted Therapy2022,7,2: | 2 |

| 9 | The decay kinetics of residual chlorine in cooling seawater simulation experiments显示文摘To find out the decay character of residual chlorine (RC) in the sea water, the concentration of RC was analyzed by N, N-diethyl-p-phenylenediamine (DPD) method under different simulation experimental conditions, in which salinity, temperature, and Chemical Oxygen Demand (COD) were selected. The water used in the experiment was the mixture of aging ocean water, coastal water and extracting solution of coastal sediment at appropriate level. Results are shown as follows: (1) Piecewise function can well reffect the decay dynamics of RC in the cooling seawater. Concretely, the decay dynamics of first 1 min is too rapid to ascertain using a specific kinetic function, and that of the time from 1 to 30 min is fit for the first-order kinetic model.
