1Circumjacent distribution pattern of the Lungmachian graptolitic black shale(early Silurian) on the Yichang Uplift and its peripheral region显示文摘Stratigraphic hiatuses of variable time intervals within the Rhuddanian to early Aeronian(Llandovery, Silurian) are identified in the area bordering East Chongqing, West Hubei and Northwest Hunan in central China. Their distribution suggested the existence of a local uplift, traditionally named the Yichang Uplift. The diachronous nature of the basal black shale of the Lungmachi Formation crossing different belts of this Uplift signifies the various developing stages during the uplifting process.The present paper defines the temporal and spatial distribution pattern of the Yichang Uplift, which might be one of the important controlling factors for the preservation and distribution of the shale gas in this region, as it has been demonstrated that the shale gas exploration is generally less promising in the areas where more of the basal part of the Lungmachi Formation is missing.Therefore, better understanding of the circumjacent distribution pattern developed throughout the uplifting process may provide the important guidance for the shale gas exploration. The present work is a sister study to the published paper, 'Stage-progressive distribution pattern of the Lungmachian black graplolitic shales from Guizhou to Chongqing, Central China'. 2Presence, dissemination and removal of antibiotic resistant bacteria and antibiotic resistance genes in urban drinking water system: A review显示文摘Antibiotic resistance in aquatic environment has become an important pollution problem worldwide. In recent years, much attention was paid to antibiotic resistance in urban drinking water systems due to its close relationship with the biosafety of drinking water. This review was focused on the mechanisms of antibiotic resistance, as well as the presence, dissemination and removal of antibiotic resistant bacteria (ARB) and antibiotic resistance genes (ARGs) in the urban drinking water system. First, the presence of ARB and ARGs in the drinking water source was discussed. The variation of concentration of ARGs and ARB during coagulation, sedimentation and filtration process were provided subsequently, in which filtration was proved to be a promising technology to remove ARGs. However, biological activated carbon (BAC) process and drinking water distribution systems (DWDSs) could be incubators which promote the antibiotic resistance, due to the enrichment of ARGs and ARB in the biofilms attached to the active carbon and pipe wall. Besides, as for disinfection process, mechanisms of the inactivation of ARB and the promotion of conjugative transfer of ARGs under chlorine, ozone and UV disinfection were described in detail. 5Study on the performance of arch dam influenced by relaxation of the foundations following excavation显示文摘This paper studies the influence of a stress relaxation zone caused by foundation excavation on the performance of Jinping-I arch dam, using the orthogonal experiment method. Firstly, by adopting the characteristic stress of the dam as an index and coupling it with range analysis, the most significant factors and the degree of relaxation influence on the arch dam performance are found. This is then combined with monitoring data from the dam, and the extent of influence on the arch dam performance caused by the relaxation is evaluated through numerical analysis. The results show that the relaxation of foundation excavation has a negative impact on the performance of the arch dam in general, the extent of elastic modulus degradation in the relaxation zone being the main factor affecting stresses in the dam. 9Understanding the improved performance of sulfur-doped interconnected carbon microspheres for Na-ion storage显示文摘As one of the low-cost energy storage systems,Na-ion batteries(NIBs)have received tremendous attention.However,the performance of current anode materials still cannot meet the requirements of NIBs.In our work,we obtain sulfur-doped interconnected carbon microspheres(S-CSs)via a simple hydrothermal method and subsequent sulfurizing treatment.Our S-CSs exhibit an ultrahigh reversible capacity of 520 mAh g^(-1) at 100 mA g^(-1) after 50 cycles and an excellent rate capability of 257 mAh g^(-1),even at a high current density of 2 A g^(-1).The density functional theory calculations demonstrate that sulfur doping in carbon favors the adsorption of Na atom during the sodiation process,which is accountable for the performance enhancement.Furthermore,we also utilize operando Raman spectroscopy to analyze the electrochemical reaction of our S-CSs,which further highlights the sulfur doping in improving Na-ion storage performance.Xinran Yuan Siming Chen Jinliang Li Junpeng Xie Genghua Yan Botian Liu Xibo Li Rui Li Likun Pan Wenjie Mai 2021Carbon Energy2021,3,4:3

11Ultrasensitive graphene-Si position-sensitive detector for motion tracking显示文摘Motion tracking has attracted great attention in the fields of real-time tracking,nanorobotics,and targeted therapy.For achieving more accurate motion tracking,the highly sensitive position-sensitive detector(PSD)is desirable.Here,we demonstrate a meliorated PSD based on graphene-Si heterojunction for motion tracking.The position sensitivity of PSD was improved by employing surface engineering of graphene.Through modulating the transport property of graphene,nearly 20-fold increase of sensitivity was achieved under weak light,and at the same time,the detection limit power was reduced to^2 nW.A motion tracking system was developed based on the improved PSD,and human arm swing was tracked,which demonstrated high sensitivity and real-time tracking capabilities of the PSD.In addition,the PSD can support up to^10 kHz high-frequency tracking.This work provides a new strategy for improving the performance of PSD,and promotes the development of two-dimensional materials in novel optoelectronic devices.Wenhui Wang Kaiyang Liu Jie Jiang Ruxia Du Litao Sun Wei Chen Junpeng Lu Zhenhua Ni 2020InfoMat2020,2,4:3
12High valence metals engineering strategies of Fe/Co/Ni-based catalysts for boosted OER electrocatalysis显示文摘Electrocatalysis for the oxygen evolution reactions(OER)has attracted much attention due to its important role in water splitting and rechargeable metal-air batteries.Therefore,designing highly efficient and low-cost catalysts for OER process is essential as the conventional catalysts still rely on precious metals.Transition metal-based compounds have been widely investigated as active OER catalysts,and renewed interest in the high valence metals engineered compounds has been achieved for superior catalytic activity and stability.However,an in-depth understanding of the construction strategies and induced effects for the high valence metals engineered catalysts is still lacking and desired.In this review,we have summarized the construction strategies of high valence metals as dopants or formed heterostructures with the iron/cobalt/nickel(Fe/Co/Ni)-based catalysts.Then the induced effects on Fe/Co/Ni-based catalysts by incorporating high valence metals,e.g.,accelerating the surface reconstruction,forming amorphous structure,generating vacancies/defects,and acting as stabilizers,are highlighted.The impacts of high valence metals on OER performance are elucidated based on different elements,including molybdenum(Mo),tungsten(W),cerium(Ce),vanadium(V),chromium(Cr),manganese(Mn),niobium(Nb),zirconium(Zr).The correlations of construction strategies,induced effects,catalytic activity and OER reaction pathways are elaborated.Finally,the remaining challenges for further enhancements of OER performance induced by high valence metals are presented.Lu Li Xianjun Cao Juanjuan Huo Junpeng Qu Weihua Chen Chuntai Liu Yufei Zhao Hao Liu Guoxiu Wang 2023Journal of Energy Chemistry2023,,1:3

14Pressureless crystallization of glass toward scintillating composite with high crystallinity for radiation detection显示文摘The construction of scintillating ceramics is of great technological importance for various fundamental applications, including medical diagnostic, security inspection, resource exploration and particle physics. The chief challenge is the facile and scalable synthesis of scintillating ceramics with the desirable combination of pore-free, reliable mechanical properties and excellent scintillating performance. Here we present a pressureless glass crystallization strategy for the construction of scintillating composite with high crystallinity. The fabricated scintillating composites are featured by small optical turbidity, excellent mechanical properties, and efficient scintillating luminescence with the scintillating light yield of 15,000 pH/MeV and about 2.46 times higher than that of the commercial BGO single crystal. Moreover, the scintillating composite derived radiation detector device is successfully elaborated. The practical application for monitoring gamma ray is demonstrated and the precision of the device is less than that of the tolerable deviation of 30%. 15High energy storage density and power density achieved simultaneously in NaNbO_(3)-based lead-free ceramics via antiferroelectricity enhancement显示文摘High-performance lead-free dielectric ceramics with simultaneously high energy storage density and power density are in high demanded for pulse power systems.To realize excellent energy-storage characteristics,a strategy to enhance antiferroelectricity and construct a local random field simultaneously was proposed in this study.Based on the above strategy,a series of(1-x)NaNbO_(3)-xBi(Ni_(1/2)Sn_(1/2))O3[xBNS,x=0.05,0.10,0.15,0.20,and 0.22]solid solutions were designed and fabricated.An ultrahigh energy storage density(Utotal)of 7.35 J/cm^(3),and recoverable energy density(Urec)of 5.00 J/cm^(3) were achieved in the 0.10BNS ceramics.In addition,an adequate stability of energy storage properties at a range of temperatures(20e140℃),frequencies(1e100 Hz),and fatigue test durations(1e1-10^(4) cycles)were realized in 0.10BNS ceramics.0.10BNS ceramics displayed a high current density of 1005 A/cm2,an ultrahigh power density of 100.5 MW/cm^(3,)and an ultrashort discharge time of 46.5 ns?This remarkable performance not only justified our strategy but also confirmed 0.10BNS ceramics as a promising candidate for energy storage.Xiaoyan Dong Xu Li Xiuli Chen Hongyun Chen Congcong Sun Junpeng Shi Feihong Pang Huanfu Zhou 2021Journal of Materiomics2021,7,3:2

17Reappraise role of lymph node status in patterns of recurrence following curative resection of gastric adenocarcinoma显示文摘Objective: To examine the association between lymph node status and recurrence patterns in completely resected gastric adenocarcinoma.Methods: We retrospectively assessed 1,694 patients who underwent curative gastrectomy from January 2010 to August 2014. Patients stratified according to lymph node status and recurrence patterns among different subgroups were compared.Results: Of all, 517(30.5%) patients developed recurrent disease, and complete data of recurrence could be obtained in 493(95.4%) patients. For p^(N0) patients, the patterns of recurrence were different according to p T stage: locoregional recurrence was most common in patients with p T1-2 disease(57.1%), distant recurrence was most common in patients with p T3 disease(57.1%), and peritoneal recurrence was most common in patients with p T4 a disease(66.7%). For p^(N+) patients, distant metastasis was most common pattern irrespective of p T stage. The site-specific trend of recurrence showed that locoregional recurrence increased within 5 years in patients with p^(N0)-2 disease but plateaued 3 years after surgery in patients with p N3 disease. Time to recurrence was significantly longer for the p^(N0) patients compared with the p^(N+) patients(median: 25 vs. 16 months, P=0.001).Moreover, post-recurrence survival was significantly better for the p^(N0) patients than for the p^(N+) patients(median:12 vs. 6 months, P<0.001), especially in patients with non-peritoneal recurrence, late recurrence, single recurrence,and receipt of potential curative treatment.Conclusions: Among clinicopathologic factors, lymph node status is the most important factor associated with recurrence patterns after curative gastrectomy. 20AgPdCo hollow nanospheres electrocatalyst with high activity and stability toward the formate electrooxidation显示文摘The widespread commercial application of direct formate fuel cell(DFFC)is limited by the lack of efficient electrocatalysts for the formate oxidation reaction(FOR).AgPdCo hollow nanospheres(H-NSs)with jagged surfaces are successfully synthesized via a facile method involving the wet-chemical synthesis of AgPdCo nanospheres(NSs)and galvanic replacement reaction between Pd salt and AgPdCo NSs.Surpassing Ag_(30)Pd_(69)Co_(1) NSs and most of previously reported electrocatalysts,Ag_(9)Pd_(90)Co_(1) H-NSs exhibit extremely high FOR activity with a peak current density of 3.08 A·mg_(Pd)^(−1).Apart from the competitive activity,Ag_(9)Pd_(90)Co_(1) H-NSs show greatly improved chronoamperometric and cycling stability,whereby the current density retains about 0.24 A·mg_(Pd)^(−1) after 3,600 s electrocatalysis and the mass activity maintains 54.06%of the initial value after 500 cycles.The unique hollow nanosphere and synergistic effect are responsible for the enhanced activity and stability.This study will provide new clues for the development of outstanding electrocatalysts.Qiao Wang Fuyi Chen Quan Tang Longfei Guo Tao Jin Bowei Pan Junpeng Wang Zhen Li Bo Kou Weiqi Bian 2021Nano Research2021,14,7:1
