2Effect of direct current pulse stimulating acupoints of JiaJi (T10-L3) and Ciliao (BL 32) with Han's Acupoint Nerve Stimulator on labour pain in women: a randomized controlled clinical study显示文摘OBJECTIVE: To assess the clinical effect and safety of direct current(DC) pulse produced by Han's Acupoint Nerve Stimulator in reduction(HANS) of labor pain.METHODS: Totally 120 participants were enrolled in this clinical trial, and were randomly divided into4 groups including: HANS group, patient controlled intravenous analgesia(PCIA) group, patient-controlled epidural analgesia(PCEA) group and control group. The HANS group was treated by stimulating the acupoints of Jia Ji(T10-L3) and Ciliao(BL 32)with DC pulse of 100 Hz and 15-30 m A produced by a portable battery-powered Han's Acupoint Nerve Stimulator for 30 min. The PCIA group was intravenously infused Ondansetron(8 mg) for 5 min,then tramadol injection(1.5 mg/kg) was slowly dripped by using Baxter APⅡ electronic pump with50 m L tramadol(0.70%) + ondansetron(8 mg),background infusion 2 m L/h, PCA dose of 2 m L,lockout interval of 10 min. In PCEA group, women received intrathecal injection ropivacaine(3 mg) in L2-3, and epidural catheter was connected to Baxter APⅡ electronic pump, with 100 m L Ropivacaine(0.1%) and Sufentanil(50 ug), background infusion5 m L, Patient controlled analgesia(PCA) dose of 5m L, lockout interval of 10 min. The control group was not received analgesia. The visual analogue scale(VAS), stage and manner of labor, Apgar score of newborn, neonatal weights, oxytocin dosage,postpartum hemorrhage and side effects were monitored in all groups.RESULTS: The vital signs were all stable in the four analgesic groups. After analgesia, there was statistical difference in VAS score between HANS group and control group, between PCEA group and the control group, between PCIA group and control group. The analgesic effect in the PCEA group was significantly better than that of other two groups.The second stage of labor in the PCEA group was longer than the other three groups, showing significant difference between them. The Apgar score of newborn 1min after birth in the PCIA group was slightly lower than that of the other two groups,showing significant difference between them. The neonatal weights between four groups were not significantly different. The rate of cesarean sectionin the control group was significantly higher than that of the labor analgesia group, there was statistically difference in four groups. The number of PCIA group that used oxytocin was lower than that of other three groups. There was no significant difference in postpartum hemorrhage between four groups. The side effects of the PCEA group were itching, uroschesis and neonatal asphyxia and PCIA group were nausea and vomiting and neonatal asphyxia. 4A high-quality chromosome-scale assembly of the centipedegrass[Eremochloa ophiuroides(Munro)Hack.]genome provides in sights into chromosomal structural evolution and prostrate growth habit显示文摘Centipedegrass[Eremochloa ophiuroides(Munro)Hack.],a member of the Panicoideae subfamily,is one of the most important warm-season turfgrasses originating from China.This grass has an extremely developed prostrate growth habit and has been widely used in transitional and warm climatic regions.To better understand the genetic basis of important biological characteristics,such as prostrate growth and seed yield,in warm-season turfgrasses,we present a high-quality reference genome for centipedegrass and use PacBio,BioNano,and Hi-C technologies to anchor the 867.43 Mb genome assembly into nine pseudochromosomes,with a scaffold N50 of 86.05 Mb and 36,572 annotated genes.Centipedegrass was most closely related to sorghum and diverged from their common ancestor~16.8 Mya.We detected a novel chromosome reshuf fling event in centipedegrass,namely,the nest chromosome fusion event in which fusion of chromosomes 8 and 10 of sorghum into chromosome 3 of centipedegrass likely occurred after the divergence of centipedegrass from sorghum.The typical prostrate growth trait in centipedegrass may be linked to the expansion of candidate PROSTRATE GROWTH 1(PROG1)genes on chromosome 2.Two orthologous genes of OsPROGl,EoPROGl,and EoPROG2,were con firmed to increase the stem number and decrease the stem angle in Arabidopsis.Collectively,our assembled reference genome of centipedegrass offers new knowledge and resources to dissect the genome evolution of Panicoideae and accelerate genome-assisted breeding and improvement of plant architecture in turf plants.Jingjing Wang Hailing Zi Rui Wang Jianxiu Liu Haoran Wang Rongrong Chen Ling Li Hailin Guo Jingbo Chen Jianjian Li Junqin Zong 2021Horticulture Research2021,8,1:1

7Observation of table-like magnetocaloric effect and large refrigerant capacity in Nd_(6)Fe_(13)Pd_(1-x)Cu_(x) compounds显示文摘The table-like magnetocaloric effect is significant for the magnetic refrigeration applications above 20 K based on the Ericsson cycle.Herein,we prepared a series of Nd_(6)Fe_(13)Pd_(1-x)Cu_(x)(x=0.05,0.1,0.15)compounds by the arc-melting method.These compounds show the single crystalline phase in the tetragonal Nd_(6)Fe_(13)Si-type structure with the space group I4/mcm.A magnetic phase transition from ferromagnetism to antiferromagnetism and a metamagnetic transition from the antiferromagnetic state to the ferromagnetic state are observed in each of the compounds.The compounds exhibit table-like magnetocaloric effects with large refrigerant capacities.A constantΔSM in a temperature span of 40 K in the Nd_(6)Fe_(13)Pd_(0.85)Cu_(0.15) compound are observed.For a field change of 0–5 T,the peak values of–ΔS_(M) for the Nd_(6)Fe_(13)Pd_(0.95)Cu_(0.05),Nd_(6)Fe_(13)Pd_(0.90)Cu_(0.10),and Nd_(6)Fe_(13)Pd_(0.85)Cu_(0.15) compounds are estimated to be 4.8,4.6 and 4.4 J/(kg·K)with corresponding refrigerant capacity values of 323,331 and 316 J/kg,respectively.The obtained table-like magnetocaloric effects with large refrigerant capacities as well as fairly small thermal and magnetic hysteresis deem these series of compounds good candidates for single-phase magnetic refrigeration based on the Ericsson cycle.Yusong Du Chaohua Zhang Youming Lu Junqin Li Gang Cheng Jiang Wang Guanghui Rao 2022Journal of Rare Earths2022,40,4:1
8Sensory nerves directly promote osteoclastogenesis by secreting peptidyl-prolyl cis-trans isomerase D(Cyp40)显示文摘Given afferent functions,sensory nerves have recently been found to exert efferent effects and directly alter organ physiology.Additionally,several studies have highlighted the indirect but crucial role of sensory nerves in the regulation of the physiological function of osteoclasts.Nonetheless,evidence regarding the direct sensory nerve efferent influence on osteoclasts is lacking.In the current study,we found that high levels of efferent signals were transported directly from the sensory nerves into osteoclasts.Furthermore,sensory hypersensitivity significantly increased osteoclastic bone resorption,and sensory neurons(SNs)directly promoted osteoclastogenesis in an in vitro coculture system.Moreover,we screened a novel neuropeptide,Cyp40,using an isobaric tag for relative and absolute quantitation(iTRAQ).We observed that Cyp40 is the efferent signal from sensory nerves,and it plays a critical role in osteoclastogenesis via the aryl hydrocarbon receptor(AhR)-Ras/Raf-p-Erk-NFATc1 pathway.These findings revealed a novel mechanism regarding the influence of sensory nerves on bone regulation,i.e.,a direct promoting effect on osteoclastogenesis by the secretion of Cyp40.Therefore,inhibiting Cyp40 could serve as a strategy to improve bone quality in osteoporosis and promote bone repair after bone injury.Junqin Li Bin Liu Hao Wu Shuaishuai Zhang Zhuowen Liang Shuo Guo Huijie Jiang Yue Song Xing Lei Yi Gao Pengzhen Cheng Donglin Li Jimeng Wang Yang Liu Di Wang Nazhi Zhan Jing Xu Lin Wang Guozhi Xiao Liu Yang GuoXian Pei 2023Bone Research2023,11,4:0
9The clutch size,incubation behavior of Reeves’s Pheasant(Syrmaticus reevesii) and their responses to ambient temperature and precipitation显示文摘Weather conditions play a pivotal role in embryo development and parental incubation costs,potentially impacting the clutch size and incubation behavior of birds.Understanding these effects is crucial for bird conservation.Reeves’ s Pheasant(Syrmaticus reevesii) is a threatened species endemic to China,which is characterized by female-only incubation.However,there is a lack of information regarding the impact of weather conditions on clutch size and incubation behavior in this species.Using satellite tracking,we tracked 27 wild female Reeves’ s Pheasants from 2020 to 2023 in Hubei Province,China.We explored their clutch size and incubation behavior,as well as their responses to ambient temperature and precipitation.Clutch size averaged 7.75 ±1.36,had an association with average ambient temperature and average daily precipitation during the egglaying period,and was potentially linked to female breeding attempts.Throughout the incubation period,females took an average of 0.73 ±0.46 recesses every 24 h,with an average recess duration of 100.80 ±73.37 min and an average nest attendance of 92.98 ±5.27%.They showed a unimodal recess pattern in which nest departures peaked primarily between 13:00 and 16:00.Furthermore,females rarely left nests when daily precipitation was high.Recess duration and nest attendance were influenced by the interaction between daily mean ambient temperature and daily precipitation,as well as day of incubation.Additionally,there was a positive correlation between clutch size and recess duration.These results contribute valuable insights into the lifehistory features of this endangered species.Ting Jin Shuai Lu Yunqi Wang Junqin Hua Zhengxiao Liu Qian Hu Yating Liu Yuze Zhao Jianqiang Li Jiliang Xu 2024Avian Research2024,15,1:0
10Formation mechanism of hierarchical twins in the CoCrNi medium entropy alloy显示文摘The three-dimensional hierarchical twin network has been proved to be the source of the excellent strength-ductility combination in the CoCrNi medium entropy alloy.Revealing the formation mechanism of hierarchical twins,however,remains a challenge using either the post-mortem or the in-situ microstructural characterization.In this study,the atomistic formation mechanism of hierarchical twins was investigated using molecular dynamics simulations,with special focus on the effects of strain rate and deformation temperature.Compared to the primary twin boundaries kink-driven hierarchical twinning tendency in pure FCC metals,the chemical inhomogeneity in CoCrNi can reduce the necessary kink height to trigger conjugate twins(CTWs),fascinating the formation of twin networks.At room temperature,the plastic deformation is dominated by primary twins(PTWs)and conjugate slips at a relatively lower strain rate(e.g.,5×10^(7)s^(−1)).The hierarchical twins can be activated in cases of deforming at a higher strain rate(e.g.,2×10^(8)s^(−1)).Further increasing the strain rate(e.g.,1×10^(10) s^(−1))leads to the phase-transformation induced plasticity.At cryogenic temperatures,the hierarchical twins are promoted within a large range of strain rates(e.g.,5×10^(7)–1×10^(10) s^(−1)).A higher temperature leads to the synergy of CTWs and primary slips at a lower strain rate,but hierarchical twins at a higher strain rate.On this basis,a qualitative comparison and scalable trends between experiments and simulations were revealed.The present study would not only provide the basic understanding for the twinning behavior found experimentally,but also contribute to the design of medium/high entropy alloys with excellent mechanical performances by tuning microstructures.Dongpeng Hua Xiaorong Liu Wan Wang Qing Zhou Qiaosheng Xia Shuo Li Junqin Shi Haifeng Wang 2023Journal of Materials Science & Technology2023,,9:0
11Study on the Seismic Fortification Criteria of Offshore Platforms in the Bohai Sea显示文摘This paper analyzes the seismicity and seismic risk distribution in the Bohai Sea. Based on the seismic design parameters of 46 platforms in the Bohai Sea, a statistic analysis is made on the ratios of the peak accelerations for different probability levels. In accordance with the two-stage design method, a scheme of two design seismic levels is proposed, and two fortification goals are established respectively for strength level earthquakes and ductility level earthquakes. Through analogy and comparison to the Chinese seismic code for buildings, it is proposed that the probability level for the strength and ductility level earthquakes takes return periods of 200a and 1000~2500a respectively, and we further expounded on its rationality. Finally, the fortification parameters in the sub-regions of Bohai Sea area are given in the light of seismic risk zonation and ground motion division. 13Molecular dynamics simulation of the tribological performance of amorphous/amorphous nano-laminates显示文摘Because the amorphous/amorphous nano-laminates could enhance signifcantly the mechanical properties of the amorphous materials,they have been widely studied as a new group of structural materials.In this study,the nano-scratch performance of the Cu_(80)Zr_(20)/Cu_(20)Zr_(80)(A/B-type)and the Cu_(20)Zr_(80)/Cu_(80)Zr_(20)(B/A-type)amorphous/amorphous nano-laminates was evaluated by molecular dynamics simulation.Their dependences on the type of indenter,layer thickness,stacking mode and scratch depth were systematically analyzed.There is a signifcant size effect for the tribological properties of amorphous/amorphous nanolaminates that the friction force of the A/B-type increases with the increase of layer thickness,but the friction force of the B/A-type decreases as the layer thickness increase.The interface has an obvious obstruction effect on the shear deformation and reduces the plastic affected region below the scratched groove.Particularly,the contact environment of the indenter bottom has an important influence on the normal force,so it’s not that the deeper the depth,the greater the normal force.Hence it should not be ignored when evaluating the tribological properties of the amorphous/amorphous nano-laminates.This work can deepen the understanding of hetero-interface on the deformation mechanism during nano-scratch,and help to design amorphous nano-laminates with tailored tribological performance for practical applications.Dongpeng Hua Wan Wang Dawei Luo Qing Zhou Shuo Li Junqin Shi Maosen Fu Haifeng Wang 2022Journal of Materials Science & Technology2022,,10:0
