3Band-gap-tailored random laser显示文摘A band-gap-tailored random laser with a wide tunable range and low threshold through infrared radiation is demonstrated. When fluorescent dyes are doped into the liquid crystal and heavily doped chiral agent system,we demonstrate a wavelength tuning random laser instead of a side-band laser, which is caused by the combined effect of multi-scattering of liquid crystal(LC) and band-gap control. 7Evaluation of Various Modification Methods for Enhancing the Performance of Recycled Concrete Aggregate显示文摘Due to the existence of the attached mortar,the performance of the recycled concrete aggregate(RCA)is inferior to the natural aggregate,which significantly limits its wide application in industry.In this study,five kinds of modified solutions were used to modify the surface of RCA,and the modification effects were compared.The results showed that sodium silicate,nano-silica(NS),Bacillus pasteurii and soybean powder had relatively good modification effects on RCA,which could reduce the crushing value and water absorption,and increase apparent density.The composite solution(15%sodium silicate and 2%NS)and soybean powder solution had better modification effect.The 28 d compressive strength and splitting tensile strength of recycled aggregate concrete(RAC)prepared by RCA modified by soybean powder solution were 4.6%and 5.2%higher than those prepared by RCA modified by composite solution,respectively.This indicates that among the five kinds of modified solutions,soybean powder solution has the best modification effect on RCA,and the optimal soaking time of soybean powder solution is 8 h.At this time,the crushing value,water absorption and apparent density of RCA are 12.8%,5.3%,and 2653 kg/m^(3),respectively.The research results of this study provide a reference for the modification of RCA and its efficient utilization.Xiaoyan Liu Li Liu Junqing Zuo Pingzhong Zhao Xian Xie Shijie Li Kai Lyu Chunying Wu Surendra P.Shah 2022Journal of Renewable Materials2022,10,10:0

10Herb-drug interaction in the protective effect of Alpinia officinarum against gastric injury induced by indomethacin based on pharmacokinetic, tissue distribution and excretion studies in rats显示文摘Alpinia officinarum Hance of the Chinese traditional herb for the treatment of emesis, abdominal pain and diarrhea has been used to counteract gastric disease induced by indomethacin in rats without obvious side effects. However, the role of herb-drug interaction between indomethacin and A. officinarum based on pharmacokinetic, tissue distribution and excretion still remains unknown. In this study, an ultra-fast liquid-tandem mass spectrometry(UFLC-MS/MS) method was developed for simultaneous determination of indomethacin and its three metabolites, O-desmethylindomethacin(ODI), deschlorobenzoylindomethacin(NDI) and indomethacin acyl-b-D-glucuronide(IDAbG) by oral administration of indomethacin solution with and without the ethanolic extract of A. officinarum and applied to comparative pharmacokinetic, tissue distribution and excretion studies. Our results clarified that oral administration of A. officinarum produced significant alterations in the pharmacokinetic parameters of indomethacin. And the pharmacokinetic interaction between indomethacin and A. officinarum reduced the systemic exposure of indomethacin and increased its elimination. Tissue distribution results demonstrated that co-administration of A. Officinarum could not reduce the accumulation of indomethacin in the target tissue of the stomach, but could accelerate the excretions of indomethacin and its three metabolites including ODI, NDI and IDAb G in the bile and feces of rats in the excretion study.Therefore, A.
