1A novel cognitive ISAR imaging method with random stepped frequency chirp signal显示文摘The random stepped frequency chirp signal(RSFCS)has better performance in anti-jamming than that of conventional stepped frequency chirp signal(SFCS).In combination with the theory of compressing sensing(CS),a novel ISAR imaging method is proposed based on RSFCS,in which the high resolution range profile(HRRP)is reconstructed by using the conventional OMP algorithm,whereas the cognitive approach is introduced to further reduce the number of sub-pulse in RSFCS.In the proposed method,via cognizing the characteristics of moving targets,the number of sub-pulse in each burst can be adjusted adaptively.Finally,in the cross-range direction,the accurate reconstruction of ISAR image by using CS theory is implemented,which can effectively accomplish unwrapping.With the proposed method,high quality HRRP and ISAR image can be achieved with fewer sub-pulses of RSFCS and lower burst repetition frequency(BRF).Some simulation results are given to validate the effectiveness and robustness of the proposed algorithm.ZHU Feng ZHANG Qun LUO Ying LI KaiMing GU FuFei 2012Science China(Information Sciences)2012,55,8:13
2Trending IC design directions in 2022显示文摘For the non-stop demands for a better and smarter society, the number of electronic devices keeps increasing exponentially;and the computation power, communication data rate, smart sensing capability and intelligence are always not enough. Hardware supports software, while the integrated circuit(IC) is the core of hardware. In this long review paper, we summarize and discuss recent trending IC design directions and challenges, and try to give the readers big/cool pictures on each selected small/hot topics. 3Considering for the blanket structure scheme of HCCB DEMO显示文摘For the solid blanket concept of helium cooled ceramic breeder (HCCB) demonstration fusion power plant (DEMO), a feasible blanket structure with configuration 2×X is proposed as considering relatively low temperature limit of neutron multiplier beryllium pebbles. Based on that, preliminary design for the typical blanket module of HCCB DEMO has been carried out and verified by thermal-hydraulic analysis and structural analysis. 5Crystallization Behavior of Anatase Films in Applied Electric Field Heating Process显示文摘In this research the TiO2 thin films were prepared by sol-gel dip coating. The crystallization of the films in the applied electric field heating process was thoroughly studied by many technique, differential thermal analysis (DTA), Raman spectroscopy and atomic force microscope (AFM). Furthermore the phase formation, microstructure and photo-catalytic activity of TiO2 film were studied under the condition of an electric field heating-treatment. It is found that the existence of applied electric field promotes the phase transformation from anatase to rutile. 8Hydrolysis hydrogen production mechanism of Mg10Ni10Ce alloy surface modified by SnO_(2) nanotubes in different aqueous systems显示文摘(Mg-10wt%Ni)-10wt%Ce(Mg10Ni10Ce)was ball-milled with SnO_(2)nanotubes and Mg10Ni10Ce-xSnO_(2)(x¼0,5,10 and 15 wt%)composites have been prepared.The phase compositions,microstructures,morphologies and hydrolysis H2 generation performance in different aqueous systems(distilled water,tap water and simulated seawater)have been investigated and the corresponding hydrolysis mechanism of Mg10Ni10Ce and Mg10Ni10CeeSnO_(2)has been proposed.Adding a small amount of SnO_(2)nanotubes can significantly enhance the hydrolysis reaction of Mg10Ni10Ce,especially the initial hydrolysis kinetics and the final H_(2) generation yield.Unfortunately,the Mg10Ni10Ce-xSnO_(2)hardly reacts with distilled water at room temperature.The hydrolysis reaction rate of Mg10Ni10Cee5SnO_(2)composite in tap water is still very slow with only 17.3%generation yield after 1 h at 303 K.Fortunately,in simulated seawater(3.5 wt%NaCl solution),the hydrolytic H2 generation behavior of the Mg10Ni10Cee5SnO_(2)composite has been greatly improved,which can release as high as 468.6 mL g^(-1 )H_(2) with about 60.9%generation yield within 30 s at 303 K.The Cl destroys the passivation layer on MgeNieCe alloy surface and the added SnO_(2)nanotubes accelerate the hydrolysis reaction rate and enhance the H2 generation yield.The Mg10Ni10Cee5SnO_(2)composite can rapidly generate a large amount of H2 in simulated seawater in a short time,which is expected to be applied on portable H2 generators in the future.Xiaojiang Hou Lu Yang Kaiming Hou Hongchang Shi Lei Feng Guoquan Suo Xiaohui Ye Li Zhang Yanling Yang 2021Green Energy & Environment2021,6,1:1

13H_2 generation kinetics/thermodynamics and hydrolysis mechanism of high-performance La-doped Mg-Ni alloys in Na Cl solution——A large-scale and quick strategy to get hydrogen显示文摘In this work,La-doped Mg-Ni multiphase alloys were prepared by resistance melting furnace(RMF)and then modified by high-energy ball milling(HEBM).The hydrolysis H_(2) generation kinetics/thermodynamics of prepared alloys in Na Cl solutions have been investigated with the help of nonlinear and linear fitting by Avrami-Erofeev and Arrhenius equations.Combining the microstructure information before and after hydrolysis and thermodynamics fitting results,the hydrolysis H_(2) generation mechanism based on nucleation&growth has been elaborated.The final H_(2) generation capacities of 0La,5La,10La and 15 La alloys are 677,653,641 and 770 m L·g^(-1)H_(2) in 240 min at291 K,respectively.While,the final H_(2) generation capacities of HEBM 0La,5La,10La and 15 La alloys are 632,824,611 and 653 m L·g^(-1)H_(2) in 20 min at 291 K,respectively.The as-cast 15La alloy and HEMB 5La alloy present the best H_(2) production rates and final H_(2) production capacities,especially the HEBM 5La can rapidly achieve high H_(2) generation capacity(670 and 824 m L·g^(-1)H_(2) )at low temperature(291 K)within short time(5 and 20 min).The difference between the H_(2) generation capacities is mainly originated from the initial nucleation rate of Mg(OH)_(2) and the subsequent processes affected by the microstructures and phase compositions of the hydrolysis alloys.Relative low initial nucleation rate and fully growth of Mg(OH)_(2) nucleus are the premise of high H_(2) generation capacity due to the hydrolysis H_(2) generation process consisted by the nucleation,growth and contacting of Mg(OH)_(2) nucleus.To utilization H_(2) by designing solid state H_(2) generators using optimized Mg-based alloys is expected to be a feasible H_(2) generation strategy at the moment.Xiaojiang Hou Hongchang Shi Lu Yang Kaiming Hou Yi Wang Lei Feng Guoquan Suo Xiaohui Ye Li Zhang Yanling Yang 2021Journal of Magnesium and Alloys2021,9,3:0
14On-chip single-photon chirality encircling exceptional points显示文摘Exceptional points(EPs),which are typically defined as the degener-acy points of a non-Hermitian Hamiltonian,have been investigated in various physical systems such as photonic systems.In particular,the intriguing topological structures around EPs have given rise to novel strategies for manipulating photons and the underlying mechanism is especially useful for on-chip photonic applications.Although some on-chip experiments with the adoption of lasers have been reported,EP-based photonic chips working in the quantum regime largely re-main elusive.In the current work,a single-photon experiment was proposed to dynamically encircle an EP in on-chip photonic waveg-uides possessing passive anti-parity-time symmetry.Photon coinci-dences measurement reveals a chiral feature of transporting single photons,which can act as a building block for on-chip quantum de-vices that require asymmetric transmissions.The findings in the cur-rent work pave the way for on-chip experimental study on the physics of EPs as well as inspiring applications for on-chip non-Hermitian quantum devices.Zhen-Nan Tian Feng Yu Xu-Lin Zhang KaiMing Lau Li-Cheng Wang Jensen Li C.T.Chan Qi-Dai Chen 2023Chip2023,2,4:0

17Deep learning-based activity recognition and fine motor identification using 2D skeletons of cynomolgus monkeys显示文摘Video-based action recognition is becoming a vital tool in clinical research and neuroscientific study for disorder detection and prediction.However,action recognition currently used in non-human primate(NHP)research relies heavily on intense manual labor and lacks standardized assessment.In this work,we established two standard benchmark datasets of NHPs in the laboratory:Monkeyin Lab(Mi L),which includes 13 categories of actions and postures,and MiL2D,which includes sequences of two-dimensional(2D)skeleton features.Furthermore,based on recent methodological advances in deep learning and skeleton visualization,we introduced the Monkey Monitor Kit(Mon Kit)toolbox for automatic action recognition,posture estimation,and identification of fine motor activity in monkeys.Using the datasets and Mon Kit,we evaluated the daily behaviors of wild-type cynomolgus monkeys within their home cages and experimental environments and compared these observations with the behaviors exhibited by cynomolgus monkeys possessing mutations in the MECP2 gene as a disease model of Rett syndrome(RTT).Mon Kit was used to assess motor function,stereotyped behaviors,and depressive phenotypes,with the outcomes compared with human manual detection.Mon Kit established consistent criteria for identifying behavior in NHPs with high accuracy and efficiency,thus providing a novel and comprehensive tool for assessing phenotypic behavior in monkeys.Chuxi Li Zifan Xiao Yerong Li Zhinan Chen Xun Ji Yiqun Liu Shufei Feng Zhen Zhang Kaiming Zhang Jianfeng Feng Trevor W.Robbins Shisheng Xiong Yongchang Chen Xiao Xiao 2023Zoological Research2023,44,5:0
18Effect of Retained Austenite on Corrosion Behavior of Ultrafine Bainitic Steel in Marine Environment显示文摘In this study,the impact of retained austenite on corrosion initiation,propagation,and resistance of ultrafine bainitic steels in marine environments based on the one-step and two-step bainitic isothermal transformation was investigated using a combination of theoretical calculations and experimental methods.According to the results,the microstructure of ultrafine bainitic steels was composed of parallel arranged bainite ferrite(BF)and retained austenite(RA).The fraction of the block RA was significantly reduced,whereas the amount of the film RA increased through the two-step bainitic transformation.In the initial stage of corrosion,micro-galvanic effects occurred between the multiphases due to the difference in nobility,leading to the selective dissolution of BF sheaves,which is adjacent to the block RA in the one-step bainitic steel.However,uniformly distributed film RA in the two-step bainitic steel acted as a barrier against corrosion propagation.The electrochemical measurements and neutral salt spray tests revealed a relatively lower corrosion rate for the two-step bainitic steel,indicating a higher corrosion resistance than the one-step bainitic steel.The corrosion products layer mainly consisted ofα-FeOOH,γ-FeOOH,and Fe_(3)O_(4),which were stable and favorable for the formation of a protective rust layer.Xian Zhang Li Gong Yanpeng Feng Zhihui Wang Miao Yang Lin Cheng Jing Liu Kaiming Wu 2023Acta Metallurgica Sinica(English Letters)2023,36,5:0
