| 1 | Pseudolymphoma of the liver associated with primary biliary cirrhosis:A case report and review of literature显示文摘We report a case of two pseudolymphomas of the liver in a 63-year-old Japanese woman with primary biliary cirrhosis.One of the lesions was found incidentally during a medical examination,presenting as a 10 mm hypodense nodule that revealed hyperdensity in the early phase and hypodensity in the late phase in computed tomography(CT)after injection of contrast medium.Retrospectively,the 10 mm nodule had first been discovered as a 4 mm nodule during CT 4 years previously.Superparamagnetic iron oxide-enhanced MRI revealed another 4 mm hyperintense nodule in segment 6 in addition to the 10 mm hyperintense nodule in segment 7.CT during arterial portography revealed two hypointense nodules.Findings with other imaging modalities such as ultrasonography,magnetic resonance imaging,and hepatic angiography were consistent with hepatocellular carcinoma.A right posterior segmentectomy was performed,and the lesions were microscopically diagnosed as pseudolymphoma.To the best of our knowledge,only 31 other cases of this disease have ever been reported,with a highly asymmetrical male:female ratio of 1:9.7.Although we could find only one case of transformation of hepaticpseudolymphoma into lymphoma in the liver,the exact nature of development from benign pseudolymphoma to malignant lymphoma is still not fully understood and cases of hepatic lymphoma need to be followed carefully. | Toshihide Okada Hiroshi Mibayashi Kenkei Hasatani Yoshiaki Hayashi Shigetsugu Tsuji Yoshibumi Kaneko Masashi Yoshimitsu Takashi Tani Yoh Zen Masakazu Yamagishi | 2009 | World Journal of Gastroenterology2009，15，36： | 8 |
| 2 | gastrointestinal symptom prevalence depends on disease duration and gastrointestinal region in type 2 diabetes mellitus显示文摘AIM To unravel relationships between gastrointestinal(GI)symptoms impairing quality of life(QOL)and clinical profiles of diabetes mellitus(DM)patients. METHODS We enrolled 134 outpatients with type 2 DM.Mean age was 64.7 years,mean body mass index was 24.7 RESULTS Lower abdominal symptoms were found to be more frequent than those affecting the upper abdomen.Diabetic duration and medications showed associations with GI symptoms.We identified differences in peak prevalences of the five symptoms.Gastralgia(P=0.02vs 10-14 years)and total GI symptoms(P=0.01 and P=0.02 vs 5-9 years and 10-14 years,respectively)peaked at a diabetes duration of 15-19 years.Heartburn(P=0.004)and postprandial fullness(P=0.03)tended to increase with disease duration.Constipation and diarrhea showed bimodal peaks,with the first early and the second late(e.g.,P=0.03 at 15-19 years vs 10-14years for diarrhea)in the disease course.Finally,GI symptoms showed clustering that reflected the region of the GI tract affected,i.e.,constipation and diarrhea had similar frequencies(P<0.0001). | 3 | A laterally-spreading tumor in a colonic interposition treated by endoscopic submucosal dissection显示文摘Herein we describe an early colonic carcinoma which developed in a colonic interposition 14 years after surgery for esophageal cancer, which was successfully treated by endoscopic submucosal dissection (ESD). An 80-year-old man underwent colonic interposition between the upper esophagus and stomach after surgery for an early esophageal squamous cell carcinoma in 1994. He received a surveillance endoscopy, and a laterally-spreading tumor of granular type, approximately 20 mm in size, was identified in the colonic interposition. An endoscopic biopsy revealed moderately differentiated adenocarcinoma histologically, however, we diagnosed the lesion as an intramucosal carcinoma based on the endoscopic findings. The lesion was safely and completely removed en bloc by ESD using a bipolar knife. | 6 | Unexpected endoscopic full-thickness resection of a duodenal neuroendocrine tumor显示文摘A 57-year-old man underwent endoscopy for investigation of a duodenal polyp. Endoscopy revealed a hemispheric submucosal tumor, about 5 mm in diameter, in the anterior wall of the duodenal bulb. Endoscopic biopsy disclosed a neuroendocrine tumor histologically, therefore endoscopic mucosal resection was conducted. The tumor was effectively and evenly elevated after injection of a mixture of 0.2% hyaluronic acid and glycerol at a ratio of 1:1 into the submucosal layer. A small amount of indigo-carmine dye was also added for coloration of injection fluid. The lesion was completely resected en bloc with a snare after submucosal fluid injection. Immediately, muscle-fiber-like tissues were identified in the marginal area of the resected defect above the blue-colored layer, which suggested perforation. The defect was completely closed with a total of 9 endoclips, and no symptoms associated with peritonitis appeared thereafter. Histologically, the horizontal and vertical margins of the resected specimen were free of tumor and muscularis propria was also seen in the resected specimen. Generally, endoscopic mucosal resection is considered to be theoretically successful if the mucosal defect is colored blue. | 7 | Regression model for stabilization energies associated with anion ordering in perovskite-type oxynitrides显示文摘Certain perovskite-type oxynitrides have bandgaps suitable for renewable hydrogen production via photocatalytic and photoelectrochemical water splitting under visible light.Understanding the ordering of oxide and nitride anions in these materials is important because this ordering affects their semiconductor properties.However, the numerous possible orderings complicate systematic analyses based on density functional theory(DFT) calculations using defined elemental arrangements.This work shows that anion ordering in large-scale supercells within perovskite-type oxynitrides can be rapidly predicted based on machine learning, using BaNbO2N(capable of oxidizing water under irradiation up to 740 nm) as an example.Machine learning allows the calculation of the total energy of BaNbO2N directly from randomly selected initial atomic placements without costly structural optimization, thus reducing the computational cost by more than 99.99%.Combined with the Metropolis Monte Carlo method, machine learning permits exploration of the stable anion orderings of large supercells without costly DFT calculations.This work therefore demonstrates a means of predicting the properties of functional materials having complex compositions based on the most realistic elemental arrangements in conjunction with reasonable computational loads. | Masanori Kaneko Mikiya Fujii Takashi Hisatomi Koichi Yamashita Kazunari Domen | 2019 | Journal of Energy Chemistry2019，28，9： | 2 |
