| 3 | Significantly enhanced thermoelectric performance of flexible PEDOT nanowire film via coating Te nanostructures显示文摘A free-standing and highly conductive poly(3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene)(PEDOT)nanowire(NW)film was used as a working electrode for electrodepositing tellurium(Te).By adjusting the electrodeposition time,the thermoelectric(TE)performance of the free-standing hybrid filmwas optimized.The maximum power factor of 240.0 μWm^(-1) K^(-2)(with the electrical conductivity of 561.4 S cm^(-1) and the Seebeck coefficient of 65.4 μVK^(-1))was obtained from a hybrid film electrodeposited for 7 h,which was 8 times higher than that of the pristine PEDOT NW film.In addition,the electrical conductivity of the film almost did not change even after being bent for 400 times around a rod with radius of 4 mm,indicating an excellent flexibility.This work offers a facile approach to prepare multilayered TE films,and desirable combination of excellent flexibility,high electrical conductivity,and facile process scalability makes the free-standing PEDOT NW film particularly promising for portable and flexible electronics. | Dan Ni Haijun Song Yuanxun Chen Kefeng Cai | 2020 | Journal of Materiomics2020,6,2: | 2 |

| 5 | Measurement and influencing factors of urban traffic ecological resilience in developing countries: A case study of 31 Chinese cities显示文摘An urban traffic ecosystem is a spatial structure composed of air,population,vehicles,roads,green spaces,and regions.Traffic ecological resilience is a critical issue in high-quality urban development.From the perspective of system optimization,it is important to study the level of urban traffic ecological resilience and analyze its influencing factors.In this study,we evaluated traffic ecological resilience,characterized its spatio-temporal differentiation,and explored its influencing factors by constructing a system of urban traffic ecological resilience and by analyzing the environmental protection and urban construction data in 31 Chinese cities during 2011-2018.By conducting Kernel density analysis,standard deviation ellipse,comprehensive weight determination,panel data regression analysis,andχ2test,we found that traffic ecological resilience was low on the whole and exhibited the temporal trend of“decreasing first and then increasing”and the spatial characteristic of“high in the east,second in the middle,and low in the west”.The cities with high traffic ecological resilience density values were located in Southeast China and tended to move from northwest to southeast.Governance capability,market activity,technological innovation capability,opening degree,and financial resources had significant effects on urban traffic ecological resilience.Finally,we gave some suggestions for improving the urban traffic ecological resilience in Chinese cities as well as other developing countries in the world. | HU Xiwu SU Yunqing REN Kefeng SONG Fang XUE Ruixiang | 2021 | Regional Sustainability2021,2,3: | 1 |

| 12 | Numerical Simulation Analysis of the Transformer Fire Extinguishing Process with a High-Pressure Water Mist System under Different Conditions显示文摘To thoroughly study the extinguishing effect of a high-pressure water mist fire extinguishing system when a transformer fire occurs,a 3D experimental model of a transformer is established in this work by employing Fire Dynamics Simulator(FDS)software.More specifically,by setting different parameters,the process of the highpressure water mist fire extinguishing system with the presence of both diverse ambient temperatures and water mist sprinkler laying conditions is simulated.In addition,the fire extinguishing effect of the employed high-pressure water mist system with the implementation of different strategies is systematically analyzed.The extracted results show that a fire source farther away fromthe centerline leads to a lower local temperature distribution.In addition,as the ambient temperature increases,the temperature above the fire source decreases,while the temperature and the concentrationof theupperflue gas layer bothdecrease.Interestingly,after thehigh-pressurewatermist sprinkler begins to operate,both the temperature distribution above the fire source and the concentration of the flue gas decrease,which indicates that the high-pressure water mist system plays the role of cooling and dust removal.By comparing various sprinkler laying methods,it is found that the lower sprinkler height has a better effect on the temperature above the fire source,the temperature of the upper flue gas layer,and the concentration of the flue gas.Moreover,when the sprinkler is spread over thewhole transformer,the cooling effect on both the temperature above the fire source and the temperature of the upper flue gas layer is good,whereas the change in the concentration of the flue gas above the fire source is not obvious compared to the case where the sprinkler is not fully spread. | Haowei Yao Youxin Li Kefeng Lv Dong Wang Jinguang Zhang Zhenyu Zhan Zhenyu Wang Huaitao Song Xiaoge Wei Hengjie Qin | 2023 | Computer Modeling in Engineering & Sciences2023,,7: | 0 |

| 14 | Additive manufacturing of a Co-Cr-W alloy by selective laser melting:In-situ oxidation,precipitation and the corresponding strengthening effects显示文摘Additive manufacturing exhibits great potentials for the fabrication of novel materials due to its unique non-equilibrium solidification and heating process.In this work,a novel nano-oxides dispersion strengthened Co28 Cr9 W1.5 Si(wt.%)alloy,fabricated by laser powder bed fusion(LPBF),was comprehensively investigated.During the layer-by-layer featured process,in-situ formation of Si rich,amorphous,nano-oxide inclusions was observed,whose formation is ascribed to the high affinity of Si to oxygen.Meanwhile,distinctive body-centered cubic(BCC)Co5 Cr3 Si2 nano-precipitates with an 8-fold symmetry were also confirmed to appear.The precipitates,rarely reported in previous studied Co-Cr alloys,were found to tightly bond with the in-situ oxidization.Furthermore,the morphologies,the size distributions as well as the microstructure of the interface between the matrix and the inclusions were investigated in detail and their influence on the tensile deformation was also clarified.The existence of transition boundaries between these inclusions and the matrix strongly blocked the movement of dislocations,thereby increasing the strength of the alloy.It was understood that when the plastic deformation proceeds,the fracture occurs in the vicinity of the oxide inclusions where dislocations accumulate.A quantitative analysis of the strengthening mechanism was also established,in which an additional important contribution to strength(~169 MPa)caused by the effects of in-situ formed oxide inclusions was calculated. | Kefeng Li Zhi Wang Kaikai Song Khashayar Khanlari Xu-Sheng Yang Qi Shi Xin Liu Xinhua Mao | 2022 | Journal of Materials Science & Technology2022,,30: | 0 |
| 15 | Short-term tamoxifen administration improves hepatic steatosis and glucose intolerance through JNK/MAPK in mice显示文摘Nonalcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD) which is a leading cause of chronic liver diseases lacks effective treatment. Tamoxifen hasbeen proven to be the first-line chemotherapy for several solid tumors in clinics, however, its therapeutic role in NAFLD has neverbeen elucidated before. In vitro experiments, tamoxifen protected hepatocytes against sodium palmitate-induced lipotoxicity. Inmale and female mice fed with normal diets, continuous tamoxifen administration inhibited lipid accumulation in liver, andimproved glucose and insulin intolerance. Short-term tamoxifen administration largely improved hepatic steatosis and insulinresistance, however, the phenotypes manifesting inflammation and fibrosis remained unchanged in abovementioned models. Inaddition, mRNA expressions of genes related to lipogenesis, inflammation, and fibrosis were downregulated by tamoxifentreatment. Moreover, the therapeutic effect of tamoxifen on NAFLD was not gender or ER dependent, as male and female mice withmetabolic disorders shared no difference in response to tamoxifen and ER antagonist (fulvestrant) did not abolish its therapeuticeffect as well. Mechanistically, RNA sequence of hepatocytes isolated from fatty liver revealed that JNK/MAPK signaling pathwaywas inactivated by tamoxifen.
