1Basic fibroblast growth factor protects against influenza A virus-induced acute lung injury by recruiting neutrophils显示文摘Influenza virus (IAV)infection is a major cause of severe respiratory illness that affects almost every country in the world.IAV infections result in respiratory illness and even acute lung injury and death,but the underlying mechanisms responsible for IAV pathogenesis have not yet been fully elucidated.In this study,the basic fibroblast growth factor 2 (FGF2)level was markedly increased in H1N1 virus-infected humans and mice.FGF2,which is predominately derived from epithelial cells,recruits and activates neutrophils via the FGFR2-PI3K-AKT-NFKB signaling pathway.FGF2 depletion or knockout exacerbated influenzaassociated disease by impairing neutrophil recruitment and activation.More importantly,administration of the recombinant FGF2 protein significantly aUeviated the severity of IAV-induced lung injury and promoted the survival of IAV-infected mice.Based on the results from experiments in which neutrophils were depleted and adoptively transferred,FGF2 protected mice against IAV , infection by recruiting neutrophils.Thus,FGF2 plays a critical role in preventing IAV-induced lung injury,and FGF2 is a promising potential therapeutic target during IAV infection.Keyu Wang Chengcai Lai Tieling Li Cheng Wang Wei Wang Bing Ni Changqing Bai Shaogeng Zhang Lina Han Hongjing Gu Zhongpeng Zhao Yueqiang Duan Xiaolan Yang Li Xing Lingna Zhao Shanshan Zhou Min Xia Chengyu Jiang Xiliang Wang Penghui Yang 2018Journal of Molecular Cell Biology2018,10,6:3

9Chromo-chemodosimetric detection for Fe^(2+) by Fenton reagent-induced chromophore-decolorizing of halogenated phenolsulfonphthalein derivatives显示文摘A commercially-available sulfonphthalein derivative was demonstrated to be a chemodosimeter for Fe2+ and its sensing behavior was further investigated by UV-vis spectroscopy in aqueous media under the optimum conditions.In the presence of chlorophenol red (CPR) and H2O2,the absorption maximum at 435 nm decreased upon addition of Fe2+,resulting in a significant color change of the CPR solution from yellow to colorless.The chemosensor system did not show significant responses to a series of other metal ions including Al3+,Zn2+,Cd2+,Hg2+,Mn2+,Co2+,Fe3+,Ni2+,Cu2+,La3+,Ce4+,Th4+,Pd2+,Pb2+,Sb3+,Cr3+,Au3+,Ag+,Nd3+,Sm3+,alkali and alkaline earth metal cations,allowing for highly selective naked-eye detection of Fe2+.Quantitative analysis was carried out kinetically for practicable the Fe2+ assay when either fixed time method or the initial rate method was applied.When the detecting time was set,the decrease of absorbance signal was linear with Fe2+ concentration in the range of 0 to 7.50 × 10-5 mol L-1 and the regression equation was ΔA = 0.00759 + 0.00593CFe with a correlation coefficient r = 0.9953.The chemodosimetric system has employed an irreversible Fenton reagent-promoted oxidation of the CPR free chromophore and the hydroxyl radicals were generated in the presence of both Fe2+ and hydrogen peroxide.The mechanistic interpretation of the signaling process was partially confirmed by the radical scavenging experiment and the FT-IR analysis of the intermediates formed at different reaction periods.ZHENG Kuan,LAI ChengYue,HE LiPing & LI Fang Key Laboratory of Green Chemistry and Technology,Ministry of Education College of Chemistry,Sichuan University,Chengdu 610064,China 2010Science China Chemistry2010,53,6:0
10Heavy Metal Emission Characteristics of Urban Road Runoff显示文摘Pavement runoff sampling points were set up on the main roads of Chengdu city.Six rainfall-runoff events from July to September in 2017 were sampled by synchronous observation of rainfall,runoff and pollution.The concentration changes of copper,lead,zinc,chromium and cadmium in the runoff process were monitored,and the pollution emission regularity and initial scouring effect were studied.The results show that the emission regularity of pavement runoff pollution is closely related to rainfall characteristics and pollutant occurrence,and the concentration of dissolved heavy metals reaches its peak at the initial stage of runoff.The peak time of particulate heavy metal concentration lagged slightly behind that of rainfall intensity.There is a big difference between the strength of initial scouring degree and dissolved heavy metals the stronger the initial scouring degree of total heavy metals,the weaker the dissolved heavy metals.Reducing pavement runoff in the early stage of rainfall is an effective means to control heavy metal pollution.Xintuo Chen Chengyue Lai Yibin YuanJia She Yiyao Wang Jiayang Chen Zhaoli Wang Ke Zhong 2020Journal of Environmental & Earth Sciences2020,2,1:0
