1Gapless indica rice genome reveals synergistic contributions of active transposable elements and segmental duplications to rice genome evolution显示文摘The ultimate goal of genome assembly is a high-accuracy gapless genome.Here,we report a new assembly pipeline that is used to produce a gapless genome for the indica rice cultivar Minghui 63.The resulting 397.71-Mb final assembly is composed of 12 contigs with a contig N50 size of 31.93 Mb.Each chromosome is represented by a single contig and the genomic sequences of all chromosomes are gapless.Quality evaluation of this gapless genome assembly showed that gene regions in our assembly have the highest completeness compared with the other 15 reported high-quality rice genomes.Further comparison with the japonica rice genome revealed that the gapless indica genome assembly contains more transposable elements(TEs)and segmental duplications(SDs),the latter of which produce many duplicated genes that can affect agronomic traits through dose effect or sub-/neo-functionalization.The insertion of TEs can also affect the expression of duplicated genes,which may drive the evolution of these genes.Furthermore,we found the expansion of nucleotide-binding site with leucine-rich repeat disease-resistance genes and cis-zeatin-O-glucosyltransferase growth-related genes in SDs in the gapless indica genome assembly,suggesting that SDs contribute to the adaptive evolution of rice disease resistance and developmental processes.Collectively,our findings suggest that active TEs and SDs synergistically contribute to rice genome evolution.Kui Li Wenkai Jiang Yuanyuan Hui Mengjuan Kong Li-Ying Feng Li-Zhi Gao Pengfu Li Shan Lu 2021Molecular Plant2021,14,10:6
2Fe-doped TiO_2/SiO_2 nanofibrous membranes with surface molecular imprinted modification for selective photodegradation of 4-nitrophenol显示文摘In this study, Fe-doped TiO_2/SiO_2(Fe@TS) nanofibrous membranes with molecular imprinted modification, were fabricated by a combination of sol-gel process, electrospinning, calcination and liquid phase deposition techniques. The precursor sol was prepared from one-pot condensation of poly(vinylpyrrolidone), ferric chloride hexahydrate, tetraethyl orthosilicate and titanium n-butoxide in the mixture solvents of N,N-dimethylformamide and ethyl alcohol. Fibrous membrane wasthen fabricated by electrospinning, followed by calcination to form the Fe@TS composite. The physicochemical properties of Fe@TS were characterized. Thereafter, 4-nitrophenol(4 NP) was used as the template to deposit onto nanofibrous Fe@TS membranes, with a thin layer of molecular imprinted polymer in liquid phase. The photodegradation capabilities of 4 NP and methyl orange wereexamined in both single and binary systems. 4Heteroatom-doped porous carbon from methyl orange dye wastewater for oxygen reduction显示文摘Banana peel-derived porous carbon(BPPC) was prepared from banana peel and used as an adsorbent for methyl orange(MO) wastewater removal. BPPC-MO50 is a N,S-doped BPPC obtained via secondary carbonization. The BPPC-MO50 exhibited a high specific surface area of1774.3 m^2/g. Heteroatom-doped porous carbon(PC) was successfully synthesized from the BPPC absorbed MO at high temperature and used for oxygen reduction. The BPPC-MO50 displayed the highest ORR onset potential among all carbon-based electrocatalysts, i.e., 0.93 V vs.reversible hydrogen electrode(RHE). This is the first report to describe porous carbon-activated materials from agriculture and forestry waste that is used for adsorption of dyes from wastewater via an enhanced heteroatom(N,S) content. 5Ultralow-weight loading Ni catalyst supported on two-dimensional vermiculite for carbon monoxide methanation显示文摘Nickel-based catalysts represent the most commonly used systems for CO methanation.We have successfully prepared a Ni catalyst system supported on two-dimensional plasma-treated vermiculite(2D-PVMT)with a very low Ni loading(0.5 wt%).The catalyst precursor was subjected to heat treatment via either conventional heat treatment(CHT)or the plasma irradiation method(PIM).The as-obtained CHT-Ni/PVMT and PIM-Ni/PVMT catalysts were characterized with scanning electron microscopy(SEM),energy dispersive X-ray(EDX),X-ray diffraction(XRD),X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy(XPS),inductively coupled plasma-atomic emission spectroscopy(ICP-AES)and high-angle annular dark field scanning transmission electron microscopy(HAADF-STEM).Additionally,CHT-NiO/PVMT and PIM-NiO/PVMT catalysts were characterized with hydrogen temperature programmed reduction(H_2-TPR).Compared with CHT-Ni/PVMT,PIM-Ni/PVMT exhibited superior catalytic performance.The plasma treated catalyst PIM-Ni/PVMT achieved a CO conversion of93.5%and a turnover frequency(TOF)of 0.8537 s^(-1),at a temperature of 450°C,a gas hourly space velocity of 6000 ml·g^(-1)·h^(-1),a synthesis gas flow rate of 65 ml·min^(-1),and a pressure of 1.5 MPa.Plasma irradiation may provide a successful strategy for the preparation of catalysts with very low metal loadings which exhibit excellent properties.Mengjuan Zhang Panpan Li Mingyuan Zhu Zhiqun Tian Jianming Dan Jiangbing Li Bin Dai Feng Yu 2018Chinese Journal of Chemical Engineering2018,26,9:3

10In situ polypyrrole polymerization enhances the photocatalytic activity of nanofibrous TiO2/SiO2 membranes显示文摘In this study, nanofibrous polypyrrole-coated TiO_2/SiO_2(PPy@TS) membranes were fabricated by a combination of sol-gel process, electrospinning, calcination, and in situ polymerization. Samples from the electrospinning, calcination, and in situ polymerization steps were characterized by scanning electron microscopy, transmission electron microscopy, X-ray diffraction. Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy, and thermogravimetry. The in situ polymerization of PPy is aimed to enhance the overall photocatalytic capability of TiO_2 in the TiO_2/SiO_2 composite fibers. 11Analysis of COVID-19 Guideline Quality and Change of Recommendations:A Systematic Review显示文摘Background.Hundreds of coronavirus disease 2019(COVID-19)clinical practice guidelines(CPGs)and expert consensus statements have been developed and published since the outbreak of the epidemic.However,these CPGs are of widely variable quality.So,this review is aimed at systematically evaluating the methodological and reporting qualities of COVID-19 CPGs,exploring factors that may influence their quality,and analyzing the change of recommendations in CPGs with evidence published.Methods.We searched five electronic databases and five websites from 1 January to 31 December 2020 to retrieve all COVID-19 CPGs.The assessment of the methodological and reporting qualities of CPGs was performed using the AGREE II instrument and RIGHT checklist.Recommendations and evidence used to make recommendations in the CPGs regarding some treatments for COVID-19(remdesivir,glucocorticoids,hydroxychloroquine/chloroquine,interferon,and lopinavir-ritonavir)were also systematically assessed.And the statistical inference was performed to identify factors associated with the quality of CPGs.Results.We included a total of 92 COVID-19 CPGs developed by 19 countries.Overall,the RIGHT checklist reporting rate of COVID-19 CPGs was 33.0%,and the AGREE II domain score was 30.4%.The overall methodological and reporting qualities of COVID-19 CPGs gradually improved during the year 2020.Factors associated with high methodological and reporting qualities included the evidence-based development process,management of conflicts of interest,and use of established rating systems to assess the quality of evidence and strength of recommendations.The recommendations of only seven(7.6%)CPGs were informed by a systematic review of evidence,and these seven CPGs have relatively high methodological and reporting qualities,in which six of them fully meet the Institute of Medicine(IOM)criteria of guidelines.Besides,a rapid advice CPG developed by the World Health Organization(WHO)of the seven CPGs got the highest overall scores in methodological(72.8%)and reporting qualities(83.8%).Many CPGs covered the same clinical questions(it refers to the clinical questions on the effectiveness of treatments of remdesivir,glucocorticoids,hydroxychloroquine/chloroquine,interferon,and lopinavirritonavir in COVID-19 patients)and were published by different countries or organizations.Although randomized controlled trials and systematic reviews on the effectiveness of treatments of remdesivir,glucocorticoids,hydroxychloroquine/chloroquine,interferon,and lopinavir-ritonavir for patients with COVID-19 have been published,the recommendations on those treatments still varied greatly across COVID-19 CPGs published in different countries or regions,which may suggest that the CPGs do not make sufficient use of the latest evidence.Conclusions.Both the methodological and reporting qualities of COVID-19 CPGs increased over time,but there is still room for further improvement.The lack of effective use of available evidence and management of conflicts of interest were the main reasons for the low quality of the CPGs.The use of formal rating systems for the quality of evidence and strength of recommendations may help to improve the quality of CPGs in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic.During the pandemic,we suggest developing a living guideline of which recommendations are supported by a systematic review for it can facilitate the timely translation of the latest research findings to clinical practice.We also suggest that CPG developers should register the guidelines in a registration platform at the beginning for it can reduce duplication development of guidelines on the same clinical question,increase the transparency of the development process,and promote cooperation among guideline developers all over the world.Since the International Practice Guideline Registry Platform has been created,developers could register guidelines prospectively and internationally on this platform.Siya Zhao Shuya Lu Shouyuan Wu Zijun Wang Qiangqiang Guo Qianling Shi Hairong Zhang Juanjuan Zhang Hui Liu Yunlan Liu Xianzhuo Zhang Ling Wang Mengjuan Ren Ping Wang Hui Lan Qi Zhou Yajia Sun Jin Cao Qinyuan Li Janne Estill Joseph LMathew Hyeong Sik Ahn Myeong Soo Lee Xiaohui Wang Chenyan Zhou Yaolong Chen 2021Health Data Science2021,,1:1

13Fast electrochemical activation of the broadband saturable absorption of tungsten oxide nanoporous film显示文摘The on-demand modulation of defects in materials for the effective modulation of optical nonlinearity is desirable,while it remains a great challenge.In this work,we demonstrate that electrochemical activation is a facile and convenient approach to modulating the broadband third-order nonlinear absorption of nanoporous tungsten oxide(WO3-x)thin film.The film does not exhibit optical nonlinearity at the initial state,while shows a distinct saturable absorption under an applied voltage of-2.5 V with the excitation of 515,800,and 1,030 nm laser.The nonlinear absorption coefficient(β_(eff))is-766.38±6.67 cm·GW^(-1) for 1,030 nm laser,-624.24±17.15 cm·GW-1 for 800 nm laser,and-120.70±11.49 cm·GW^(-1) for 515 nm laser,and the performance is competitive among inorganic saturable absorbers.The activation is accomplished in 2 min.The performance enhancement is ascribed to the formation of abundant in-gap defect states because of the reduction of the tungsten atoms,and a Pauli-blocking effect occurs during the excitation of in-gap defect states.The small feature size of WO_(3-x)(-12 nm)enables the effective and fast introduction and removal of the defects in porous film,and accordingly the fast and broadband modulation of optical nonlinearity.Our results suggest a controllable,effective,and convenient approach to tuning the nonlinear absorption of materials.Ruipeng Hou Hui Li Mengjuan Diao Yanhui Sun Ying Liang Zhiyang Yu Zhipeng Huang Chi Zhang 2022Nano Research2022,15,1:0

15Preparation of highly dispersed supported Ni-Based catalysts and their catalytic performance in low temperature for CO methanation显示文摘The use of non-noble nickel-based catalysts for low temperature CO methanation has been a challenge in recent years.Herein,MgAl layered double oxides sample with high dispersion synthesized by a facile N-(2-Hydroxyethyl)ethylenediaminetriacetic acid assisted wetness impregnation approach,demonstrates much superior catalytic activity and exceptional stability for CO methanation in comparison with the classical Ni/MgAl-LDO catalyst prepared by the ordinary wetness impregnation method.HRTEM results showed that N-(2-Hydroxyethyl)ethylenediaminetriacetic acid played a positive role in the dispersion of Ni,as well as Ni-support interaction.Well-dispersed Ni particles with a size of about 5 nm were formed in the presence of N-(2-Hydroxyethyl)ethylenediaminetriacetic acid.Compared to the Ni/MgAl-LDO prepared by conventional impregnation method,the NH-Ni/MgAl-LDO exhibited superior catalytic performance,especially excellent thermal stability.The NH-Ni30/MgAl-LDO catalyst was found to keep a 70%CO conversion even at 160◦C which demonstrates its good low temperature performance.From the in situ FTIR observations,this good performance at low temperatures may be linked to the delocalization of electrons around CO caused by surface hydroxyl groups.Yongbin Yao Jing Xu Xuhong Guo Jiangwei Li Qixia Zhang Jiangbing Li Chao Wang Mengjuan Zhang Bin Dai Feng Yu Sebastien Thomas Anne-Cecile Roger 2020Carbon Resources Conversion2020,3,1:0

17GPU Based Hash Segmentation Index for Fast T-overlap Query显示文摘T-overlap query is the basis of set similarity query and has been applied in many important fields.Most existing approaches employ a pruning-and-verification framework,thus in low efficiency.Modern GPU has much higher parallelism as well as memory bandwidth than CPU and can be used to accelerate T-overlap query.In this paper,we use hash segmentation to divide inverted lists into segments,then design an efficient inverted index called GHSII on GPU using hash segmentation.Based on GHSII,a new segmentation parallel T-overlap algorithm,GSPS,is proposed.GSPS uses segment at a time to scan segments and uses shared memory to decrease the number of accesses to device memory.Furthermore,an optimized algorithm called GSPS-TLLO using a heuristic query order is proposed to solve the problem of load imbalance.Experiments are carried out on two real datasets and the results show that GSPS-TLLO outperforms the state-of-the-art GPU parallel T-overlap algorithms.Lianyin Jia Yongbin Zhang Mengjuan Li Jiaman Ding Jinguo You 2017国际计算机前沿大会会议论文集2017,,1:0
18Exercise Recommendation with Preferences and Expectations Based on Ability Computation显示文摘In the era of artificial intelligence,cognitive computing,based on cognitive science;and supported by machine learning and big data,brings personalization into every corner of our social life.Recommendation systems are essential applications of cognitive computing in educational scenarios.They help learners personalize their learning better by computing student and exercise characteristics using data generated from relevant learning progress.The paper introduces a Learning and Forgetting Convolutional Knowledge Tracking Exercise Recommendation model(LFCKT-ER).First,the model computes students’ability to understand each knowledge concept,and the learning progress of each knowledge concept,and the model consider their forgetting behavior during learning progress.Then,students’learning stage preferences are combined with filtering the exercises that meet their learning progress and preferences.Then students’ability is used to evaluate whether their expectations of the difficulty of the exercises are reasonable.Then,the model filters the exercises that best match students’expectations again by students’expectations.Finally,we use a simulated annealing optimization algorithm to assemble a set of exercises with the highest diversity.From the experimental results,the LFCKT-ER model can better meet students’personalized learning needs and is more accurate than other exercise recommendation systems under various metrics on real online education public datasets.Mengjuan Li Lei Niu 2023Computers, Materials & Continua2023,77,10:0
19A hybrid organic-inorganic perovskite with robust SHG switching显示文摘Owing to the diversity of structure and potential applications in the field of electrics,sensors,and light-emitting diodes,lead halide perovskites have attracted great attention in recent years.Especially those lead halide perovskites with non-centrosymmetric crystal structures usually exhibit nonlinear optical(NLO) characteristics,which may endow them photoelectricity switching functionality.In this work,a lead-based hybrid organic-inorganic perovskite(HOIP) material,trimethyliodomethylammonium lead trichloride(TMIM·PbCl_(3)),is obtained on the basis of tetramethylammonium lead chloride through halogen substitution on the cation part.It shows dual-phase-transition behavior around 345 and 358 K, which is significantly improved.TMIM·PbCl_(3)crystallizes in the chiral space group,P2_(1)2_(1)2_(1), and shows a welldefined second harmonic generation(SHG) response,and good switching endurance,which makes it an excellent candidate for SHG switching material.This work highlights the importance of halogen substitution for crystal engineering and may pave way for the further exploration of the optoelectronic devices.Mengjuan Yang Hao Cheng Yuqiu Xu Mengzhen Li Yong Ai 2022Chinese Chemical Letters2022,33,4:0
20Misdiagnosis of malignant meningioma in subcutaneous soft tissue of the forehead: A case report显示文摘Meningiomas, the most common intracranial primary tumors, are always benign. Extracranial and distant metastases can occur in malignant meningiomas. This case report describes a male in his 50 s with malignant meningioma and metastases to the subcutaneous soft tissue. Preoperative color Doppler ultrasound showed that the tumor had an abundant blood flow. Intraoperative pathological examination revealed a malignant tumor. Postoperative pathological examination revealed malignant tumors in the forehead;thus, malignant meningiomas were suspected. Immunohistochemistry revealed grade Ⅲ malignant meningioma.
