1Performance Analysis and Comparison for Two Topologies of Flux-Switching Permanent Magnet Machine显示文摘Flux-switching permanent magnet(FSPM)machine is a kind of stator-typed permanent magnet machine,which is suitable for driving electric vehicles and hybrid electric vehicles because of their large power/torque density and high efficiency.The axial field flux-switching permanent magnet machine(AFFSPMM)and radial field flux-switching permanent magnet machine(RFFSPMM)with H-typed iron cores are reached and compared in this paper.On the condition of the same outer diameters and total volumes,the electromagnetic performances of the two machines are analyzed and compared by the three-dimensional finite element method,including the air gap flux density,inductance,back electromotive force(EMF),electromagnetic torque and loss.The finite element results show that the copper loss of AFFSPMM is higher than that of RFFSPMM at the rated load,however,the total loss of AFFSPMM is lower than that of the RFFSPMM.Meanwhile,AFFSPMM has greater torque than RFFSPMM in the constant power range.The related experiments are done to validate the finite element results,which are basically consistent with experiment results.Xu Zhang Wei Zhang Xingyan Liang Ping Lu 2020CES Transactions on Electrical Machines and Systems2020,4,3:4

4Effect of low dose fractionated radiation on reversing cisplatin resistance in ovarian carcinoma via VEGF and mTOR显示文摘Objective To investigate the mechanism of low-dose fractionated radiation on reversing cisplatin resistance in ovarian carcinoma via vascular endothelial growth factor(VEGF) and mammalian target of rapamycin(mTOR) in vivo.Methods Human cisplatin-resistant ovarian carcinoma cells(SKOV3/DDP) were injected into nude mice to establish ovarian cancer xenografts. The mice were randomly divided into three groups: a control group, a low-dose fractionated radiation(LDRFT) group, and a conventional-dose radiation group. Each group was exposed to 0 cGy, 50 cGy, and 200 cGy radiation, respectively, for 4 weeks, up to a total of 8.0 Gy. Mice in the LDFRT group were irradiated twice daily with 6 hour intermissions on day 1 and 2 of every week for a total of 4 weeks. Conventional-dose group mice were given a single 200 cGy radiation dose on the first day each week for a total of 4 weeks. Maximum horizontal and vertical diameters of the tumors were measured every other day and used to create a tumor growth curve. After 4 weeks of irradiation, we dissected the tumor tissue and calculated the tumor inhibition rate. RT-PCR detected the expression of VEGF and m TOR, and Western blots detected the expression of corresponding proteins.Results Both LDRFT and conventional-dose radiation inhibited the growth of tumor cells, and growth of tumors in the two radiation groups compared with growth in the control group were significantly different(P < 0.05). The rate of tumor inhibition in the LDFRT group(37.5603%) was lower than in the conventionaldose group(47.4446%), but there was no significant difference(P 0.05). Compared with the other two groups, the m RNA expression of VEGF was significantly lower in the LDFRT group(P < 0.05), but there was no obvious difference between the conventional-dose and control groups. There was no obvious difference in the m RNA expression of m TOR among the three groups, but the expression of the protein p-m TOR was lower in the LDFRT group(P < 0.05), as confirmed by Western blotting.Conclusion LDFRT is as effective at inhibiting the growth of tumor cells as conventional-dose radiation. 6Interannual Variations in Synoptic-Scale Disturbances over the Western North Pacific显示文摘The present study investigates the interannual variation of June–November synoptic disturbance activity over the western North Pacific(WNP) and its relationship with large-scale circulation for the period 1958–2014. Two leading modes of eddy kinetic energy for the disturbance variability over the WNP are obtained by EOF analysis, characterized by anomalous eddy kinetic energy over the subtropical WNP and around the Philippines, respectively. These modes explain a large portion of the interannual variance of synoptic disturbance activity over the WNP. Both are associated with lower-level cyclonic anomalies, but with different locations: over the subtropical WNP for the first mode and over the South China Sea for the second mode. Considering the impact of ENSO on synoptic disturbance activity over the WNP, we repeat the analyses after removing the effect of ENSO, which is simply defined as the components linearly regressed onto the Ni o3.4 index, and find similar results, suggesting that the leading modes and their relationships with large-scale circulation exist without SST effects.Further analyses suggest that the meridional shear of zonal winds caused by cyclonic anomalies is crucial for maintaining the leading modes through barotropic conversion.Xingyan ZHOU Riyu LU Guanghua CHEN Liang WU 2018Advances in Atmospheric Sciences2018,35,5:0
