1Multi-objective Stability Control Algorithm of Heavy Tractor Semi-trailer Based on Differential Braking显示文摘Rollover and jack-knifing of tractor semi-trailer are serious threats for vehicle safety,and accordingly active safety technologies have been widely used to reduce or prevent the occurrence of such accidents.However,currently tractor semi-trailer stability control is generally only a single hazardous condition (rollover or jack-knifing) control,it is difficult to ensure the vehicle comprehensive stability of various dangerous conditions.The main objective of this study is to introduce a multi-objective stability control algorithm which can improve the vehicle stability of a tractor semi-trailer by using differential braking.A vehicle controller is designed to minimize the likelihood of rollover and jack-knifing.First a linear vehicle model of tractor semi-trailer is constructed.Then an optimal yaw control for tractor using differential braking is applied to minimize the yaw rate and lateral acceleration deviation of tractor,as well as the hitch articulation angle of tractor semi-trailer,so as to improve the vehicle stability.Second a braking scheme and variable structure control with sliding mode control are introduced in order to achieve the best braking effect.Last Fishhook maneuver is introduced to the active safety simulation and the active control system effect verification.The simulation results show that multi-objective stability control algorithm of semi-trailer could improve the vehicle stability significantly during the transient maneuvers.The proposed multi-objective stability control algorithm is effective to prevent the vehicle rollover and jackknifing.ZONG Changfu ZHU Tianjun WANG Chang LIU Haizhen 2012Chinese Journal of Mechanical Engineering2012,25,1:13
2An innovative integrated system utilizing solar energy as power for the treatment of decentralized wastewater显示文摘This article reports an innovative integrated system utilizing solar energy as power for decentralized wastewater treatment, which consists of an oxidation ditch with double channels and a photovoltaic (PV) system without a storage battery. Because the system operates without a storage battery, which can reduce the cost of the PV system, the solar radiation intensity affects the amount of power output from the PV system. To ensure that the power output is sufficient in all different weather conditions, the solar radiation intensity of 78 W/m 2 with 95% confidence interval was defined as a threshold of power output for the PV system according to the monitoring results in this study, and a step power output mode was used to utilize the solar energy as well as possible. The oxidation ditch driven by the PV system without storage battery ran during the day and stopped at night. Therefore, anaerobic, anoxic and aerobic conditions could periodically appear in the oxidation ditch, which was favorable to nitrogen and phosphate removal from the wastewater. The experimental results showed that the system was efficient, achieving average removal efficiencies of 88% COD, 98% NH 4 + -N, 70% TN and 83% TP, under the loading rates of 140 mg COD/(g MLSS·day), 32 mg NH 4 + -N/(g MLSS·day), 44 mg TN/(g MLSS·day) and 5 mg TP/(g MLSS·day).Changfu Han Junxin Liu Hanwen Liang Xuesong Guo Lin Li 2013Journal of Environmental Sciences2013,25,2:12
3Mycorrhizal symbiosis modulates the rhizosphere microbiota to promote rhizobia–legume symbiosis显示文摘Plants establish symbioses with mutualistic fungi,such as arbuscular mycorrhizal(AM)fungi,and bacteria,such as rhizobia,to exchange key nutrients and thrive.Plants and symbionts have coevolved and represent vital components of terrestrial ecosystems.Plants employ an ancestral AM signaling pathway to establish intracellular symbioses,including the legume–rhizobia symbiosis,in their roots.Nevertheless,the relationship between the AM and rhizobial symbioses in native soil is poorly understood.Here,we examined how these distinct symbioses affect root-associated bacterial communities in Medicago truncatula by performing quantitative microbiota profiling(QMP)of 16S rRNA genes.We found that M.truncatula mutants that cannot establish AM or rhizobia symbiosis have an altered microbial load(quantitative abundance)in the rhizosphere and roots,and in particular that AM symbiosis is required to assemble a normal quantitative root-associated microbiota in native soil.Moreover,quantitative microbial co-abundance network analyses revealed that AM symbiosis affects Rhizobiales hubs among plant microbiota and benefits the plant holobiont.Through QMP of rhizobial rpoB and AM fungal SSU rRNA genes,we revealed a new layer of interaction whereby AM symbiosis promotes rhizobia accumulation in the rhizosphere of M.truncatula.We further showed that AM symbiosis-conditioned microbial communities within the M.truncatula rhizosphere could promote nodulation in different legume plants in native soil.Given that the AM and rhizobial symbioses are critical for crop growth,our findings might inform strategies to improve agricultural management.Moreover,our work sheds light on the co-evolution of these intracellular symbioses during plant adaptation to native soil conditions.Xiaolin Wang Huan Feng Yayu Wang Mingxing Wang Xingguang Xie Huizhong Chang Like Wang Jicheng Qu Kai Sun Wei He Chunyan Wang Chuanchao Dai Zhaohui Chu Changfu Tian Nan Yu Xuebin Zhang Huan Liu Ertao Wang 2021Molecular Plant2021,14,3:6
4Post-traumatic stress disorder status in a rescue group after the Wenchuan earthquake relief显示文摘Previous studies have suggested that the incidence of post-traumatic stress disorder in earthquake rescue workers is relatively high. Risk factors for this disorder include demographic characteristics, earthquake-related high-risk factors, risk factors in the rescue process, personality, social support and coping style. This study examined the current status of a unit of 1 040 rescue workers who participated in earthquake relief for the Wenchuan earthquake that occurred on May 12th, 2008. Post-traumatic stress disorder was diagnosed primarily using the Clinician-Administered Post-traumatic Stress Disorder Scale during structured interviews. Univariate and multivariate sta-tistical analyses were used to examine major risk factors that contributed to the incidence of post-traumatic stress disorder. Results revealed that the incidence of this disorder in the rescue group was 5.96%. The impact factors in univariate analysis included death of family members, contact with corpses or witnessing of the deceased or seriously injured, near-death experience, severe injury or mental trauma in the rescue process and working at the epicenter of the earthquake. Correlation analysis suggested that post-traumatic stress disorder was positively correlated with psychotic and neurotic personalities, negative coping and low social support. Impact factors in mul-tivariate logistic regression analysis included near-death experience, severe injury or mental trauma, working in the epicenter of the rescue, neurotic personality, negative coping and low social support, among which low social support had the largest odds ratio of 20.42. 12Genome Assembly of Alfalfa Cultivar Zhongmu-4 and Identification of SNPs Associated with Agronomic Traits显示文摘Alfalfa(Medicago sativa L.)is the most important legume forage crop worldwide with high nutritional value and yield.For a long time,the breeding of alfalfa was hampered by lacking reliable information on the autotetraploid genome and molecular markers linked to important agronomic traits.We herein reported the de novo assembly of the allele-aware chromosome-level genome of Zhongmu-4,a cultivar widely cultivated in China,and a comprehensive database of genomic variations based on resequencing of 220 germplasms.Approximate 2.74 Gb contigs(N50 of 2.06 Mb),accounting for 88.39%of the estimated genome,were assembled,and 2.56 Gb contigs were anchored to 32 pseudo-chromosomes.A total of 34,922 allelic genes were identified from the allele-aware genome.We observed the expansion of gene families,especially those related to the nitrogen metabolism,and the increase of repetitive elements including transposable elements,which probably resulted in the increase of Zhongmu-4 genome compared with Medicago truncatula.Population structure analysis revealed that the accessions from Asia and South America had relatively lower genetic diversity than those from Europe,suggesting that geography may influence alfalfa genetic divergence during local adaption.Genome-wide association studies identified 101 single nucleotide polymorphisms(SNPs)associated with 27 agronomic traits.Two candidate genes were predicted to be correlated with fall dormancy and salt response.We believe that the alleleaware chromosome-level genome sequence of Zhongmu-4 combined with the resequencing data of the diverse alfalfa germplasms will facilitate genetic research and genomics-assisted breeding in variety improvement of alfalfa.Ruicai Long Fan Zhang Zhiwu Zhang Mingna Li Lin Chen Xue Wang Wenwen Liu Tiejun Zhang Long-Xi Yu Fei He Xueqian Jiang Xijiang Yang Changfu Yang Zhen Wang Junmei Kang Qingchuan Yang 2022Genomics, Proteomics & Bioinformatics2022,20,1:1
13Poly(lactic-co-glycolic acid) conduit for repair of injured sciatic nerve A mechanical analysis显示文摘Tensile stress and tensile strain directly affect the quality of nerve regeneration after bridging nerve defects by poly(lactic-co-glycolic acid) conduit transplantation and autogenous nerve grafting for sciatic nerve injury. This study collected the sciatic nerve from the gluteus maximus muscle from fresh human cadaver, and established 10-mm-long sciatic nerve injury models by removing the ischium, following which poly(lactic-co-glycolic acid) conduits or autogenous nerve grafts were transplanted. Scanning electron microscopy revealed that the axon and myelin sheath were torn, and the vessels of basilar membrane were obstructed in the poly(lactic-co-glycolic acid) conduit-repaired sciatic nerve following tensile testing. There were no significant differences in tensile tests with autogenous nerve graft-repaired sciatic nerve. Following poly(lactic-co-glycolic acid) conduit transplantation for sciatic nerve repair, tensile test results suggest that maximum tensile load, maximum stress, elastic limit load and elastic limit stress increased compared with autogenous nerve grafts, but elastic limit strain and maximum strain decreased. Moreover, the tendencies of stress-strain curves of sciatic nerves were similar after transplantation of poly(lactic-co-glycolic acid) conduits or autogenous nerve grafts. 14Relationship between Microstructure Evolution and the Luminescent Properties of Eu^(3+)-doped Yttrium Aluminum Garnet and Y_2O_3 Nano-powders显示文摘Eu3+-doped yttrium aluminum garnet(YAG) and Y2O3 composite phase nanoparticles were synthesized using a modified hydrothermal method.Sintering was performed at 800℃,which is considerably lower than the sintering temperature used in the conventional method.Y3+ in YAG and Y2O3 was partially substituted with Na+ by adding NaNO3 into the solution during sample synthesis.The microstructures and phase transformation process were characterized through X-ray diffraction,scanning electron microscopy,and transmission electron microscopy.The obtained results verified that the addition of Na+ promoted crystallinity and grain growth of the three phases,namely,Y2O3,Y4AI2O9,and Y3AI5O12.Highly efficient luminescence properties excited by 254 and 365 nm ultraviolet were achieved.In conclusion,the remarkable enhancement of the luminescence intensity with the addition of Na+ should be attributed to grain growth and improvement of crystallinity.Jie Zhang Yongyi Gao Junjie Xiao Changfu Xu Yunxin Liu Qibin Yang 2013Journal of Materials Science & Technology2013,29,3:0
15Using machine learning algorithms to estimate stand volume growth of Larix and Quercus forests based on national-scale Forest Inventory data in China显示文摘Estimating the volume growth of forest ecosystems accurately is important for understanding carbon sequestration and achieving carbon neutrality goals.However,the key environmental factors affecting volume growth differ across various scales and plant functional types.This study was,therefore,conducted to estimate the volume growth of Larix and Quercus forests based on national-scale forestry inventory data in China and its influencing factors using random forest algorithms.The results showed that the model performances of volume growth in natural forests(R^(2)=0.65 for Larix and 0.66 for Quercus,respectively)were better than those in planted forests(R^(2)=0.44 for Larix and 0.40 for Quercus,respectively).In both natural and planted forests,the stand age showed a strong relative importance for volume growth(8.6%–66.2%),while the edaphic and climatic variables had a limited relative importance(<6.0%).The relationship between stand age and volume growth was unimodal in natural forests and linear increase in planted Quercus forests.And the specific locations(i.e.,altitude and aspect)of sampling plots exhibited high relative importance for volume growth in planted forests(4.1%–18.2%).Altitude positively affected volume growth in planted Larix forests but controlled volume growth negatively in planted Quercus forests.Similarly,the effects of other environmental factors on volume growth also differed in both stand origins(planted versus natural)and plant functional types(Larix versus Quercus).These results highlighted that the stand age was the most important predictor for volume growth and there were diverse effects of environmental factors on volume growth among stand origins and plant functional types.Our findings will provide a good framework for site-specific recommendations regarding the management practices necessary to maintain the volume growth in China's forest ecosystems.Huiling Tian Jianhua Zhu Xiao He Xinyun Chen Zunji Jian Chenyu Li Qiangxin Ou Qi Li Guosheng Huang Changfu Liu Wenfa Xiao 2022Forest Ecosystems2022,9,3:0
16Purified protein derivative skin testing on HIV/AIDS patients and logistic regression analysis of its risk factors显示文摘Objective: To understand the reactivity of purified protein derivative skin test(PPD test) in HIV-infected persons and to determine the influential factors associated with PPD. Methods: 174 HIV/AIDS patients registered in the local center for disease control and prevention(CDC) participated this study from April to June in 2006. Questionnaire,CD4 count and thoracic roentgenogram were performed for all participants. Results: In this study, response rate of questionnaires was 83.65%. The majority of these participants had a different degree of immunodeficiency that accounted for 93.64%. Female patients had a higher CD4 count than that of males. The total positive rate of PPD was 38.15%. Analysis of single factor in our study indicated that CD4 count, previous tuberculosis history, tuberculosis contact history and thoracic roentgenogram manifestation of patients were related to their PPD diameters. Further analysis of multiple factors also supports the previous conclusion that CD4 count and previous tuberculosis history of patients were risk factors in the PPD test. Conclusion: The PPD test of HIV/AIDS patients could be affected by several factors. 17The acceleration degradation processes of different aged refuses with the forced aeration for landfill reclamation显示文摘Forced aeration is one of the promising ways to accelerate landfill reclamation,and understanding the relation between aeration rates and waste properties is the prerequisite to implementing forced aeration under the target of energy saving and carbon reduction.In this work,landfill reclamation processes with forced aeration were simulated using aged refuses(ARs)of 1,4,7,10,and 13 disposal years,and the potential of field application was also investigated based on a field project,to identify the degradation rate of organic components,the O_(2)consumption efficiency and their correlations to microbes.It was found that the removal rate of organic matter declined from 20.3%(AR_(1))to 12.6%(AR_(13)),and that biodegradable matter(BDM)decreased from 5.2%to 2.4%at the set aeration rate of 0.12 L O_(2)/kg waste(Dry Matter,DM)/day.A linear relationship between the degradation rate constant(K)of BDM and disposal age(x)was established:K=−0.0002193x+0.0091(R^(2)=0.854),suggesting that BDM might be a suitable indicator to reflect the stabilization of ARs.The cellulose/lignin ratio decrease rate for AR1(18.3%)was much higher than that for AR13(3.1%),while the corresponding humic-acid/fulvic-acid ratio increased from 1.44 to 2.16.The dominant bacteria shifted from Corynebacterium(9.2%),Acinetobacter(6.6%),and Fermentimonas(6.5%),genes related to the decompose of biodegradable organics,to Stenotrophomonas(10.2%)and Clostridiales(3.7%),which were associated with humification.The aeration efficiencies of lab-scale tests were in the range of 5.4–11.8 g BDM/L O_(2)for ARs with disposal ages of 1–13 years,and in situ landfill reclamation,ARs with disposal ages of 10–18 years were around 1.9–8.8 g BDM/L O_(2),as the disposal age decreased.The increased discrepancy was observed in ARs at the lab-scale and field scale,indicating that the forced aeration rate should be adjusted based on ARs and the unit compartment combined,to reduce the operation cost.Yihang Liu Chengqi Ning Qiujie Huang Zhaowen Cheng Weihua Cao Xianghui Wang Changfu Yang Hui Liu Jia Song Luochun Wang Ziyang Lou 2023Waste Disposal and Sustainable Energy2023,5,3:0
18Research and Application of a Multi-Field Co-Simulation Data Extraction Method Based on Adaptive Infinitesimal Element显示文摘Regarding the spatial profile extraction method of a multi-field co-simulation dataset,different extraction directions,locations,and numbers of profileswill greatly affect the representativeness and integrity of data.In this study,a multi-field co-simulation data extractionmethod based on adaptive infinitesimal elements is proposed.Themultifield co-simulation dataset based on related infinitesimal elements is constructed,and the candidate directions of data profile extraction undergo dimension reduction by principal component analysis to determine the direction of data extraction.Based on the fireworks algorithm,the data profile with optimal representativeness is searched adaptively in different data extraction intervals to realize the adaptive calculation of data extraction micro-step length.The multi-field co-simulation data extraction process based on adaptive microelement is established and applied to the data extraction process of the multi-field co-simulation dataset of the sintering furnace.Compared with traditional data extraction methods for multi-field co-simulation,the approximate model constructed by the data extracted from the proposed method has higher construction efficiency.Meanwhile,the relative maximum absolute error,root mean square error,and coefficient of determination of the approximationmodel are better than those of the approximation model constructed by the data extracted from traditional methods,indicating higher accuracy,it is verified that the proposed method demonstrates sound adaptability and extraction efficiency.Changfu Wan Wenqiang Li Sitong Ling Yingdong Liu Jiahao Chen 2024Computer Modeling in Engineering & Sciences2024,138,1:0
19Effects of vitamin C on the structural and functional characteristics of wheat gluten显示文摘Vitamin C(VC)can greatly enhance the quality properties of dough and steamed bread in the food field.However,there are few studies on the interaction between VC and gluten,and the mechanism of VC influencing the foaming capacity,emulsifiablity,and dynamic viscosity of gluten is not clear.In this study,different content of VC(0,1%,2%,3%,4%and 5%)was added to gluten to obtain VC-gluten dough samples(CK,GV1,GV2,GV3,GV4 and GV5),and the properties of the VC-gluten dough were determined.Results showed that the increasing VC content lead to increase in the content of high-,medium-and low-molecular weight gluten,suggesting that VC improved the protein solubility of gluten.The G'and G'values of dough containing VC were higher than those of the control with the increase of scanning frequency.The foaming ability of gluten increased with the increase of VC content.Emulsibility of the dough of GV1 to GV 5 were significantly lower than that of the CK.Furthermore,VC could reduce the number of bubbles in gluten protein,when the VC content was less than 3%.In conclusion,VC might reduce the emulsifying characteristic and emulsifying stability of gluten,increase the solubility of gluten,and improve the dynamic viscosity of gluten dough by changing the content of disulfide bond in gluten.This study hopes to not only improve the functional characteristics of gluten protein,but also provide the basis for future development and improvement of VC-enriched health foods.Feng Jia Kaichang Ye Changfu Zhang Shihao Zhang Mingxin Fu Xiao Liu Ruijia Guo Ruiting Yang Huiru Zhang Jinshui Wang 2022Grain & Oil Science and Technology2022,5,2:0
20Microbial Community and Urban Water Quality显示文摘Urbanization of China is substantial and growing, and water resources are crucial for both economic and social sustainable development. Unfortunately, the frequency and intensity of water contamination events are increasing at an unprecedented rate and often accompanied by increased pollutant loading due to human activities such as irreversible industrialization and urbanization. The impacts of human pollution are most evident and of greatest concern at the microbial level. The research of the Aquatic Ecohealth Group, Key Laboratory of Urban Environment and Health, Institute of Urban Environment, Chinese Academy of Sciences, has been focusing mainly on aquatic microorganisms in the urban environment, from drinking water and landscape water to waste water. Its projects fall into three categories: biomonitoring and bioassessment, microbial ecology and diversity, ecotoxicology and environmental microbiology.
