4Characteristics of atmospheric aerosol optical depth variation over China in recent 30 years显示文摘This note retrieves the annual and monthly mean 0.75 urn aerosol optical depth (AOD) by using the daily direct solar radiation and sunshine duration data of 47 solar stations from 1961 to 1990. The characteristic of AOD variation over China in recent 30 years was analyzed. The results indicate that AOD increased obviously over China from 1961 to 1990. AOD increased most rapidly over the east part of Southwest China, the middle-and-lower reaches of the Yangtze River and the Tibetan Plateau. The increasing trend of AOD is also relatively distinct in North China, the Shandong Peninsula, east part of Qinghai Province, and coastal areas of Guangdong Province. However, in most parts of Northwest China and Northeast China, the increase of AOD is less significant, while in the west part of the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region and some parts of Yunnan Province, AOD shows decreasing tendency. 7Integration of nanoscale light emitters:an efficient ultraviolet and blue random lasing from NaYF_4:Yb/Tm hexagonal nanocrystals显示文摘Near infrared light-controlled release of payloads from ultraviolet-sensitive(UV-sensitive) polymer hydrogels or nanocarriers is one of the most promising strategies for biotherapy. Here, we propose the concept of light activation of NaYF_4:20%Yb, 2%Tm nanocrystals(NCs). NaYF_4:20%Yb, 2%Tm NCs are synthesized by a solvothermal method. Effective upconversion luminescence from NaYF_4:20%Yb, 2%Tm NCs excited by a continuous wave(CW) 980 nm laser is obtained. The NaYF_4:20%Yb, 2%Tm NCs are then used as a laser gain medium and sandwiched between Al and quartz reflectors to form laser microcavities. UV and blue upconverted random lasing is obtained from the laser microcavities. Hence, we verify explicitly that the NaYF_4:Yb, Tm NCs support UV and blue upconversion random lasing via a 980 nm nanosecond laser excitation. 8Frequency-modulated continuous waves controlled by space-time-coding metasurface with nonlinearly periodic phases显示文摘The rapid development of space-time-coding metasurfaces(STCMs)offers a new avenue to manipulate spatial electromagnetic beams,waveforms,and frequency spectra simultaneously with high efficiency.To date,most studies are primarily focused on harmonic generations and independent controls of finite-order harmonics and their spatial waves,but the manipulations of continuously temporal waveforms that include much rich frequency spectral components are still limited in both theory and experiment based on STCM.Here,we propose a theoretical framework and method to generate frequency-modulated continuous waves(FMCWs)and control their spatial propagation behaviors simultaneously via a novel STCM with nonlinearly periodic phases.Since the carrier frequency of FMCW changes with time rapidly,we can produce customized time-varying reflection phases at will by the required FMCW under the illumination of a monochromatic wave.More importantly,the propagation directions of the time-varying beams can be controlled by encoding the metasurface with different initial phase gradients.A programmable STCM prototype with a full-phase range is designed and fabricated to realize reprogrammable FMCW functions,and experimental results show good agreement with the theoretical analyses.Jun Chen Ke Jun Yan Dai Jun Wei Zhang Zhanye Chen Ming Zheng Chen Yunfeng Lu Lei Zhang Li Wang Qun Yan Zhou Long Li Jin Shan Ding Qiang Cheng Tie Jun Cui 2022Light(Science & Applications)2022,11,10:4
9Gene expression of vascular endothelial growth factor A and hypoxic adaptation in Tibetan pig显示文摘Background: Vascular endothelial growth factor A(VEGFA) can induce endothelial cell proliferation, promote cell migration, and inhibit apoptosis. These processes play key roles in physiological blood vessel formation and pathological angiogenesis.Methods: In this study, we examined VEGFA gene expression in the heart, liver, and kidney of Tibetan pigs(TP), Yorkshire pigs that migrated to high altitudes(YH), and Yorkshire pigs that lived at low altitudes(YL).We used PCR and Sanger sequencing to screen for single nucleotide polymorphisms(SNPs) in 5'-flanking DNA and exons of the VEGFA gene. Quantitative real-time PCR and western blots were used to measure expression levels and PCR products were sequenced.Results: Results showed that the VEGFA m RNA and protein expression in heart, liver and kidney of TP was higher than that in YH and YL. In addition, the m RNA sequence of the pig VEGFA gene was conserved among pig breeds, and only five SNPs were found in the 5'-flanking region of the VEGFA gene, the allele frequency distributions of the 5 SNPs were not significantly different between the TP, Yorkshire(YL), and Diannan small-ear(DN) pig populations.Conclusion: In conclusion, the Tibetan pig showed high levels of VEGFA gene expression in several hypoxic tissues, which suggests that the VEGFA gene may play a major functional role in hypoxic adaptation.Bo Zhang Yangzong Qiangba Peng Shang Yunfeng Lu Yuzeng Yang Zhixiu Wang Hao Zhang 2016Journal of Animal Science and Biotechnology2016,7,4:4

11Comparative yield and efficiency of strategies based on risk assessment and fecal immunochemical test in colorectal cancer screening:A cross-sectional population-based analysis显示文摘Objective:Integration of risk stratification into fecal immunochemical test(FIT)might aid in the suboptimal detection of advanced neoplasms by FIT in colorectal cancer(CRC)screening.A comparative study was conducted to evaluate the participation and diagnostic yield of the parallel combination of questionnaire-based risk assessment(QRA)and FIT,FIT-only and QRA-only strategies in a CRC screening program in China.Methods:The study included 29,626 individuals aged 40-74 years and invited to participate in a CRC screening program in China.Participants were first invited to undertake QRA and one-time FIT(OC-sensor).Participants with positive QRA or FIT were deemed to be high-risk individuals who were recommended for subsequent colonoscopy.Participation,detection rate,and resource demand for colonoscopy were calculated and compared.Results:Of the 29,626 invitees,20,203 completed the parallel combination,8,592 completed the QRA-only,and11 completed the FIT-only strategy.For the parallel combination,FIT-only,and QRA-only strategies,the overall positivity rates were 10.2%(2,928/28,806),5.4%(1,096/20,214),and 6.8%(1,944/28,795),respectively;the yield of advanced neoplasm per 10,000 invitees were 46.9[95%confidence interval(95%CI):39.8-55.4],36.8(95%CI:30.5-44.4),and 12.2(95%CI:8.8-16.8),respectively;the positive predictive values for detecting advanced neoplasms among participants who completed colonoscopy were 4.7%(95%CI:4.0%-5.6%),9.9%(95%CI:8.3%-11.9%),and 1.9%(95%CI:1.3%-2.6%),respectively;the number of colonoscopies required to detect one advanced neoplasm was 11.4(95%CI:9.8-13.4),5.7(95%CI:4.8-6.7),and 28.4(95%CI:20.7-39.2),respectively.Conclusions:The parallel combination of QRA and FIT did not show superior efficacy for detecting advanced neoplasm compared with FIT alone in this CRC screening program.Hongda Chen Le Wang Ming Lu Chen Zhu Yunfeng Zhu Weihua Ma Xinmin Chen Lingbin Du Wanqing Chen 2021Chinese Journal of Cancer Research2021,33,4:3
12Vapor deposition of aluminium oxide into N-rich mesoporous carbon framework as a reversible sulfur host for lithium-sulfur battery cathode显示文摘Restraining the shuttle effects of lithium polysulfides is the key to improve the cycling reversibility and stability of lithium-sulfur(Li-S)batteries for which design of robust sulfur hosts has been regarded as the most effective strategy.In this work,we report a new type of hybrid sulfur host which is composed of Al_(2)O_(3) homogenously decorated in nitrogen-rich mesoporous carbon framework(NMC-Al_(2)O_(3)).The NMC-Al_(2)O_(3) hybrid host features a poly-dispersed spherical morphology and a mesoporous configuration with high surface area and large pore volume that can accommodate a high sulfur content up to 73.5 wt.%.As a result,the fabricated NMC-Al_(2)O_(3)-S cathode exhibits all-round improvements in electrochemical properties in term of capacities(1,212 mAh·g^(-1)at 0.2 C;755 mAh·g^(-1)at 2 C),cycling charge-discharge reversibility(sustainably 100%efficiencies)and stability(1,000 cycles with only 0.023%capacity decay per cycle at 0.5 C).By contrast,the Al_(2)O_(3)-free NMC-S cathode shows both decreased capacities and rapidly descending Coulombic efficiencies during cycling.Density functional theory(DFH')calculations further reveal that the implanted Al_(2)O_(3) can greatly enhance the chemical adsorption and catalytic conversion for various lithium polysulfides and thereby effectively prevent the polysulfide shuttling and significantly improve the utilizability,reversibility and stability of sulfur cathode.Fei Sun Zhibin Qu Hua Wang Xiaoyan Liu Tong Pei Rui Han Jihui Gao Guangbo Zhao Yunfeng Lu 2021Nano Research2021,14,1:3
13Study on the relationship between waste classification,combustion condition and dioxin emission from waste incineration显示文摘Domestic waste in China is mainly collected as a combination of different types of materials.The components are variable and complex,with very different combustion characteristics making it difficult to optimize the burning to reduce pollution.There are still some controversies about the accuracy of using carbon monoxide(CO)emission to characterize waste incineration performance.Here,we investigated the relationship between waste classification,incineration conditions and dioxin emission and concluded that the concentration of CO in flue gas could not be used as the only criterion of combustion efficiency and safety.Considering the close relationship between the formation of polychlorinated dibenzo-p-dioxins and dibenzofurans(PCDD/Fs)and products of incomplete combustion,the relatively low concentrations of CO are not a reliable indicator that an incinerator equipped with an activated carbon injection system and fabric filter could achieve the national standards for PCDD/F emission.The goal,therefore,is not only to lower the emission of PCDD/Fs and other pollutants through clas-sifying the waste components at the source,but also to reduce the need for the treatment of incinerated waste to protect the environment and to increase the power generation efficiency of municipal solid waste incineration(MSWI)plants.As the demand for waste disposal continues to rapidly increase,the need for a safe waste incineration system with dioxin emission controls makes the classification of waste an indispensable part of future MSWI systems.Xiaodong Li Yunfeng Ma Mengmei Zhang Mingxiu Zhan Peiyue Wang Xiaoqing Lin Tong Chen Shengyong Lu Jianhua Yan 2019Waste Disposal and Sustainable Energy2019,1,2:3
14Compensation Control and Parameters Design for High Frequency Resonance Suppression of MMC-HVDC System显示文摘Large time delay is one of the inherent features of a modular multilevel converter(MMC)-based high voltage direct current(HVDC)system and is the main factor leading to the unfavorable’negative resistance and inductance’characteristic of MMC impedance.Research indicates that this characteristic interacting with the capacitive characteristics of an AC system is the cause of high frequency resonance(HFR)in the Yu-E HVDC project.As the current controller is one of the main factors that affects the MMC impedance,a compensation control to imitate the paralleled impedance at the point of common coupling(PCC)is proposed.Therefore,the structure and parameter design of the compensation controller are core to realizing HFR suppression.There are two potentially risky frequency ranges of HFRs(around 700 Hz and 1.8 kHz)in the studied AC system within 2.0 kHz.The core concept of HFR suppression is to make the phase angle of MMC impedance smaller than 90◦in the two risky frequency ranges according to impedance stability theory.Hence,the design parameters aim to coordinate the phase angle of MMC impedance in the two risky frequency ranges.In this paper,three types of compensation controller are studied to suppress HFRs,namely,first-order low pass filter(LPF),second-order LPF,and third-order band pass filter.The results of parameter design show that the first-order LPF cannot suppress both HFRs simultaneously.The second-order LPF can suppress both HFRs,however,it introduces a DC component into the current control loop.Therefore,a high pass filter is added to form the recommended third-order controller.All parameter ranges of the compensation controller are derived using analytical expressions.Finally,the correctness of the parameter design is proofed using time-domain simulations.Yunfeng Li Hui Pang Ming Kong Jingjing Lu Ke Ji Guangfu Tang 2021CSEE Journal of Power and Energy Systems2021,7,6:3
15Clinical Analysis of 240 Patients with HLA-B27 Associated Acute Anterior Uveitis显示文摘Purpose: To analyze the prevalence of HLA-B27 associated acute anterior uveitis and to identify its clinical features. Methods: A total of 240 patients with HLA-B27 associated acute anterior uveitis,who were admitted to Zhejiang Ophthalmologic Hospital between December 2006 and October 2012, were retrospectively analyzed.The age of onset,sex,affected eyes,HLA-B27 antigen detection,recurrence,joint involvement, and surgical complications were investigated. Results:The average age of onset was 37.0 ±12.0 years and the ratio of male to female patients was 2.4:1. Most cases had alternate unilateral or bilateral involvement. Among all participants, 234 cases (97.5%) were HLA-B27 positive, and 124 cases (51.7%) had spondyloarthropathies (SpA), dominated by 108 cases with ankylosing spondylitis. (AS,45.0%),and mostly seen in male subjects(P<0.05).Six patients were HLA-B27 negative(2.5%)and on statistical significance was noted between male and female patients (P >0.05).A total of 193 cases (80.4%) presented with complications, mainly fibrinous exudation, posterior synechia, and vitreous opacity. Conclusion: HLA-B27 that is associated acute anterior uveitis with a relatively high incidence and recurrence presents with more severe clinical features than does idiopathic acute anterior uveitis,and it often accompanies systemic arthritic diseases. 16Rail temperature rise characteristics caused by linear eddy current brake of high-speed train显示文摘The rail temperature rises when the linear eddy current brake of high-speed train is working,which may lead to a change of rail physical characteristics or an effect on train operations.Therefore,a study concerning the characteristics of rail temperature rise caused by eddy current has its practical necessity.In the research,the working principle of a linear eddy current brake is introduced and its FEA model is established.According to the generation mechanism of eddy current,the theoretical formula of the internal energy which is produced by the eddy current is deduced and the thermal load on the rail is obtained.ANSYS is used to simulate the rail temperature changes under different conditions of thermal loads.The research result shows the main factors which contribute to the rising of rail temperature are the train speed,brake gap and exciting current.The rail temperature rises non-linearly with the increase of train speed.The rail temperature rise curve is more sensitive to the exciting current than the air gap.Moreover,the difference stimulated by temperature rising between rails of 60 kg/m and 75 kg/m is presented as well.Xiaoshan Lu Yunfeng Li Mengling Wu Jianyong Zuo Wei Hu 2014Journal of Traffic and Transportation Engineering(English Edition)2014,1,6:3

18Molecular cloning and characterization of a gene encoding the proline transporter protein in common bean(Phaseolus vulgaris L.)显示文摘As a typical compatible solute, proline is accumulated in plants under environmental stresses. Proline transporter(Pro T) plays an important role in proline distribution between plant organs. Using a candidate gene approach, we cloned a c DNA sequence for Pro T from common bean(Phaseolus vulgaris L.) and designated the gene Pv Pro T. The deduced amino acid sequence of Pv Pro T showed high similarity to Bet/Pro T proteins from other leguminous plants, and the highest similarity was observed with mothbean(Vigna aconitifolia L.) Vu Pro T.Relative quantification of the m RNA level of Pv Pro T using real-time PCR analysis showed that the Pv Pro T transcript level was higher in leaves than in stems and roots of common bean plants subjected to drought and salt stress. Under 20%(w/w) PEG-6000 treatment,drought-resistant plants expressed a higher level of Pv Pro T transcripts than droughtsensitive plants. Although heterologous expression of Pv Pro T in the Escherichia coli mutant mkh13 showed that Pv Pro T exhibited uptake activities for proline and betaine, no betaine content was detected in the common bean. 19Enantioselective Resolution of (±)-l-Phenylethyl Acetate by Using the Whole Cells of Deep-sea Bacterium Bacillus sp. DL-2显示文摘Bacillus sp. DL-2 was isolated from the deep sea of the Western Pacific and further utilized as novel biocatalysts to efficiently asymmetrically hydrolyze (±)-1-phenylethyl acetate. After the optimization of hydrolytic reactions, chiral chemicals (R)1-phenylethanol and (S)-l-phenylethyl acetate were obtained with high optical purities (96% and 99.8%, respectively). Our research is about the asymmeric hydrolysis of (±)-1-phenylethyl acetate using whole-cell biocatalysts. In addition, the optical purity of (S)-l-phenylethyl acetate generated through the kinetic resolution of (±)-1-phenylethyl acetate using the whole-cells of Bacillus sp. 20Dietary calcium requirements of broilers fed a conventional corn-soybean meal diet from 1 to 21 days of age显示文摘Background:The current calcium(Ca)recommendation for broilers is primarily based on studies conducted more than 30 years ago with birds of markedly different productive potentials from those which exist today.And the response indicators in these studies are mainly growth performance and bone ash percentage.Therefore,the present study was carried out to investigate the effect of dietary Ca level on growth performance,serum parameters,bone characteristics and Ca metabolism-related gene expressions,so as to estimate dietary Ca requirements of broilers fed a conventional corn-soybean meal diet from 1 to 21 days of age.Methods:A total of 4201-day-old Arbor Acres male broilers were randomly assigned to 1 of 7 treatments with 6 replicates(10 birds per cage)and fed the corn-soybean meal diets containing 0.60%,0.70%,0.80%,0.90%,1.00%,1.10%or 1.20%Ca for 21 days.Each diet contained the constant non-phytate phosphorus content of about 0.39%.Results:The average daily gain decreased linearly(P<0.001)as dietary Ca level increased.The serum and tibia alkaline phosphatase(ALP)activities,tibia bone mineral density(BMD),middle toe BMD,tibia ash percentage,tibia breaking strength,and tibia ALP protein expression level were affected(P<0.05)by dietary Ca level,and showed significant quadratic responses(P<0.02)to dietary Ca levels.The estimates of dietary Ca requirements were 0.80 to 1.00%based on the best fitted broken-line or quadratic models(P<0.03)of the above serum and bone parameters,respectively.Conclusions:The results from the present study indicate that the Ca requirements would be about 0.60%to obtain the best growth rate,and 1.00%to meet all of the Ca metabolisms and bone development of broilers fed a conventional corn-soybean meal diet from 1 to 21 days of age.Shiping Bai Yunfeng Yang Xuelian Ma Xiudong Liao Runlian Wang Liyang Zhang Sufen Li Xugang Luo Lin Lu 2022Journal of Animal Science and Biotechnology2022,13,4:2
