| 3 | Rescued virus from infectious cDNA clone of rabbit hemorrhagic disease virus is adapted to RK13 cells line显示文摘Based on the infectious full-length cDNA clone of rabbit hemorrhagic disease virus (RHDV), the in vitro transcripts are introduced into RK13 cells. 12 h later, CPE could be observed clearly, and virual antigen could also be detected by IFA. The titre of the recovered virus is 104.6/mL. Immune electron micro-scopic observation of the virus particles revealed that the particles were rotund with a diameter of about 30 nm. Besides, virus titre quantification obtained by qRT-PCR showed a correlation between time from infection and virus titre. | 5 | Effects of Flexibility and Suspension Configuration of Main Shaft on Dynamic Characteristics of Wind Turbine Drivetrain显示文摘The current research of wind turbine drivetrain is mainly concentrated in dynamic characteristics of gearbox with a specific suspension of main shaft, such as one-point and two-point suspension. However, little attention is paid to the e ects of these suspension configurations on the dynamic responses of wind turbine gearbox. This paper investigates the influences of suspension configurations of main shaft on the dynamic characteristics of drivetrain. For evaluating the dynamic behaviors of drivetrain with multi-stage transmission system more realistically, a dynamic modeling approach of drivetrain is proposed based on Timoshenko beam theory and Lagrange's equation. Considering the flexibility and di erent suspension configurations of main shaft, time-varying mesh sti ness excitation, time-varying transmission error excitation and gravity excitation, etc., a three-dimensional dynamic model of drivetrain is developed, and the dynamic responses of drivetrain are investigated. Results show that with the one-point suspension of main shaft, the resonance frequencies in gearbox, especially at the low-speed stage, obviously shift to the higher frequency range compared to the gearbox without main shaft, but this trend could be inversed by increasing main shaft length. Meanwhile, the loads in main shaft, main shaft bearing and carrier bearing are greatly sensitive to the main shaft length. Hence, the load sharing is further disrupted by main shaft, but this e ect could be alleviated by larger load torque. Comparing to the one-point suspension of main shaft, there occurs the obvious load reduction at the low-speed stage with two-point suspension of main shaft. However, those advantages greatly depend on the distance between two main bearings, and come at the expense of increased load in upwind main shaft unit and the corresponding main bearing. Finally, a wind field test is conducted to verify the proposed drivetrain model. | 6 | Gene Cloning and Expression of the Pyrroline-5-carboxylate Reductase Gene of Perennial Ryegrass(Lolium perenne)显示文摘Salt and drought limit the range of applications of perennial ryegrass(Lolium perenne L.), which is one of the important turf and forage grasses. Previous studies have suggested that pyrroline-5-carboxylate reductase(P5CR) might play a central role in proline accumulation in plants that are responsive to stresses. In the present study, the Lolium perenne L. pyrroline-5-carboxylate reductase(LpP 5CR) gene was cloned from leaves of the cultivar ‘Derby' using the RACE technique. The full-length LpP 5CR gene was 1 047 bp in length, which comprised an open reading frame(ORF) of 840 bp in size. Sequence alignment revealed that the putative Lp P5 CR had a 94.3% similarity to Ta P5 CR. q RT-PCR displayed that the mR NA levels of the LpP 5CR gene were almost the same as that in the roots, stems, and leaves of perennial ryegrass seedlings subjected to normal condition or NaC l treatment for 1 h. Moreover, the transcription level of LpP 5CR was up- or down- regulated with Na Cl, polyethylene glycol(PEG), cold, or abscisic acid(ABA) treatment for 3 to 48 h. In addition, confocal microscopy localized the GFP-Lp P5 CR fusion protein to the cytoplasm of onion epidermal cells. | 8 | The efficacy and safety of nimodipine in acute ischemic stroke patients with mild cognitive impairment: a double-blind, randomized,placebo-controlled trial显示文摘Nimodipine might be effective in subcortical vascular dementia(VaD). Its benefit in preventing further cognitive decline in patients with acute ischemic stroke(AIS) and vascular mild cognitive impairment(VaMCI) remains to be established. In this multicenter, double-blind trial, we randomly assigned 654 eligible patients to nimodipine 30 mg three times a day or placebo. The primary outcome was any cognitive decline defined by the changes on the Mini-Mental State Examination(DMMSE à3) or vascular AD assessment scale cognitive subscale(DADAS-cog ! 4) at 6 months. Secondary outcomes included any distribution shift of DADAS-cog, DMMSE or cognitive improvement defined by DADAS-cog à2, or DMMSE ! 0. The primary outcome in the nimodipine group and placebo group were similar for DMMSE à3(4.18% and 7.22%, respectively, P = 0.15) and DADAS-cog ! 4(8.36% and 8.93% respectively,P = 0.88). The distribution shift of DADAS-cog and DMMSE differed significantly between the two groups(P = 0.03 and P = 0.05 respectively). Cognitive improvement occurred in 55.4% in the nimodipine group and 43.6% in the placebo group measured by DADAS-cog à2(Odds Ratio, 1.54; 95% confidence interval[CI] 1.10–2.14, P < 0.01) or 84.0% and 74.6% respectively by DMMSE ! 0(Odds Ratio, 1.79; 95% CI 1.18–2.70, P < 0.01). Nimodipine was associated with better cognitive function in the memory domain. The adverse events rate was similar in two groups. This study is registered with ClinicalTrials.gov,NCT01220622. | 10 | Variation of Thornthwaite Moisture Index in Hengduan Mountains, China显示文摘The Thornthwaite moisture index, an index of the supply of water(precipitation) in an area relative to the climatic demand for water(potential evapotranspiration), was used to examine the spatial and temporal variation of drought and to verify the influence of environmental factors on the drought in the Hengduan Mountains, China. Results indicate that the Thornthwaite moisture index in the Hengduan Mountains had been increasing since 1960 with a rate of 0.1938/yr. Annual Thornthwaite moisture index in Hengduan Mountains was between –97.47 and 67.43 and the spatial heterogeneity was obvious in different seasons. Thornthwaite moisture index was high in the north and low in the south, and the monsoon rainfall had a significant impact on its spatial distribution. The tendency rate of Thornthwaite moisture index variation varied in different seasons, and the increasing trends in spring were greater than that in summer and autumn. However, the Thornthwaite moisture index decreased in winter. Thornthwaite moisture index increased greatly in the north and there was a small growth in the south of Hengduan Mountains. The increase of precipitation and decrease of evaporation lead to the increase of Thornthwaite moisture index. Thornthwaite moisture index has strong correlation with vegetation coverage. It can be seen that the correlation between Normalized Difference Vegetation Index(NDVI) and Thornthwaite moisture index was positive in spring and summer, but negative in autumn and winter. Correlation between Thornthwaite moisture index and relative soil relative moisture content was positive in spring, summer and autumn, but negative in winter. The typical mountainous terrain affect the distribution of temperature, precipitation, wind speed and other meteorological factors in this region, and then affect the spatial distribution of Thornthwaite moisture index. The unique ridge-gorge terrain caused the continuity of water-heat distribution from the north to south, and the water-heat was stronger than that from the east to west part, and thus determined the spatial distribution of Thornthwaite moisture index. | 11 | Enhanced photocatalytic degradation of organic contaminants over CaFe_(2)O_(4) under visible LED light irradiation mediated by peroxymonosulfate显示文摘A simple sol-gel approach is proposed herein to fabricate CaFe_(2)O_(4)for the degradation of various organic pollutants(rhodamine B(RhB),tetracycline hydrochloride,humic acid,and methylene orange)under LED light irradiation mediated by peroxymonosulfate(PMS).The results indicate that the calcination temperature can significantly influence the performance of CaFe_(2)O_(4)for PMS activation,and the CaFe_(2)O_(4)sample obtained at 800℃(CaFe_(2)O_(4)-800)exhibits the best efficiency in degrading RhB,which is much higher than that of Fe_2o_(3)-800.This can be attributed to the efficient separation of photogenerated electrons(e^(-))and holes(h^(+))by PMS,which is validated by transient photocurrent response and photoluminescence measurements.Results from density functio nal theo ry calculations indicate that the valence band of CaFe_(2)O_(4)-800 exhibits a high concentration of carriers and weak localization of electrons,which are favorable for PMS activation.Radical scavenging results confirm that h^(+)and O_(2)^(·-)are the dominant reactive species.Moreover,CaFe_(2)O_(4)-800 not only demonstrated a stable performance during eight cycling runs with negligible iron leaching but also exhibited excellent degradation efficiency under natural water and sunlight.Finally,the mechanism and pathway of RhB degradation by the CaFe_(2)O_(4)-800/PMS/LED system are also proposed.This work presents the enormous prospect of CaFe_(2)O_(4)as an environmentally benign photocatalyst for PMS activation. | Sheng Guo Zhixiong Yang Huali Zhang Wei Yang Jun Li Kun Zhou | 2021 | Journal of Materials Science & Technology2021,,3: | 3 |

| 15 | Biodegradable magnesium alloy with eddy thermal effect for effective and accurate magnetic hyperthermia ablation of tumors显示文摘Magnetic hyperthermia therapy(MHT)is able to ablate tumors using an alternating magnetic field(AMF)to heat up magnetocaloric agents(e.g.magnetic nanoparticles)administered into the tumors.For clinical applications,there is still a demand to find new magnetocaloric agents with strong AMF-induced heating performance and excellent biocompatibility.As a kind of biocompatible and biodegradable material,magnesium(Mg)and its alloys have been extensively used in the clinic as an implant metal.Herein,we discovered that the eddy thermal effect of the magnesium alloy(MgA)could be employed for MHT to effectively ablate tumors.Under low-field-intensity AMFs,Mg A rods could be rapidly heated,resulting in a temperature increase in nearby tissues.Such AMF-induced eddy thermal heating of MgA could not only be used to kill tumor cells in vitro,but also be employed for effective and accurate ablation of tumors in vivo.In addition to killing tumors in mice,we further demonstrated that VX2 tumors of much larger sizes growing in rabbits after implantation of Mg A rods could also be eliminated after exposure to an AMF,illustrating the ability of MgA-based MHT to kill large-sized tumors.Moreover,the implanted MgA rods showed excellent biocompatibility and~20%of their mass was degraded within three months.Our work thus discovered for the first time that non-magnetic biodegradable Mg A,an extensively used implant metal in clinic,could be used for effective magnetic thermal ablation of tumors under a low-field-intensity AMF.Such a strategy could be readily translated into clinical use. | Nailin Yang Fei Gong Liang Cheng Huali Lei Wei Li Zongbin Sun Caifang Ni Zhanhui Wang Zhuang Liu | 2021 | National Science Review2021,8,1: | 1 |
