1Discovery of Late Cretaceous foraminifera in the Songliao Basin: Evidence from SK-1 and implications for identifying seawater incursions显示文摘The Songliao Basin is the largest oil-bearing basin in China.In the absence of sufficient evidence,the possibility of seawater incursion(s) into the Songliao Basin remains controversial.Recently,we discovered relatively abundant foraminifera fossils from units 1 and 2 of the Nenjiang Formation of borehole SK-1.Benthic foraminifera (Gavlinella sp.,Anomalinoides sp.,Pullenia sp.,Haplophragmoides sp.,Karrorulina hokkaidoana,Clavulinoides sp.),as well as planktonic foraminifera (Archaeoglobigerina blowi,Archaeoglobigerina cretacea and Hedbergella flandrini),were identified.These fossils were widely distributed in the marine Cretaceous.According to the global distribution of the above-mentioned planktonic foraminifera,the age of these fossil bearing strata appears to be Late Coniacian to Santonian.More importantly,these foraminifera provide direct evidence for marine water incursions into the Songliao Basin during deposition of the Lower Nenjiang Formation.XI DangPeng WAN XiaoQiao FENG ZhiQiang LI Shun FENG ZiHui JIA JianZhong JING Xia SI WeiMin 2011Chinese Science Bulletin2011,56,3:21
2Formation mechanism of in-situ volcanic reservoirs in eastern China:A case study from Xushen gasfield in Songliao Basin显示文摘A large number of in-situ volcanic reservoirs have been discovered from the Meso-Cenozoic rift basin group in eastern China.Based on drilling results in combination with geological and geophysical analysis,a case study from the Early Cretaceous Xujiaweizi fault-depression shows that the formation mechanism of in-situ volcanic reservoirs is characterized by'fault-controlled body,body-controlled facies,facies-controlled reservoir,and reservoir-controlled accumulation'.In other words,deep faults control the volcanic eruption type,volcanic body,and gas reservoir distribution;the volcanic body determines the spatial distribution of volcanic facies and volcanic gas reservoir size;the volcanic facies control reservoir physical properties and effective thickness of gas formation;the volcanic reservoir properties control gas reservoir type and gas productivity.The result is useful to guiding the discovery of in-situ volcanic gas reservoirs in faulted basins in both theory and practice.FENG ZiHui YIN ChangHai LIU JiaJun ZHU YingKang LU JiaMin LI JiangHai 2014Science China Earth Sciences2014,57,12:12
3Distribution and significance of C~_(40) alkanes in the extracts of Cretaceous source rocks from the Songliao Basin显示文摘Source rock extracts and crude oils from the Songliao Basin were analyzed by high-temperature gas chromatography (HTGC), gas chromatography-mass spectrometry (HTGC-MS) and gas chromatography-isotope ratio-mass spectrometry (GC-IRMS), for high molecular-weight alkanes. The distributions of n-alkanes in the Nenjiang Formation extracts are in the C14―C63 range; a bimodal distribution occurs in the C-21 and C21―40 regions. The C30―C37 n-alkanes are accompanied by C29―C35 hopanes, whereas the high molecular-weight C45―C47 n-alkanes co-occur with abundant isoalkanes, alkylcyclohexanes and alkylcyclopentanes. The high δ 13C values of the n-alkanes and the microscopic maceral compositions indicate a highly diversified organic source input for the Nenjiang Formation source rocks, ranging from aquatic plants, blue alge-bacteria, to land plant material. In contrast, n-alkanes in the rock extracts of the Qingshankou Formation are characterized by a single modal distribution, with relatively low abundances of C29―C35 hopanes, but high molecular-weight isoalkanes, alkylcyclohexanes and alkylcyclopentanes. The relatively low δ 13C values of C22―C44 n-alkanes and organic material compositions indicate that the source rocks in the Qingshankou Formation contain dominantly type I algal organic matter. The relative abundance of C+40 compounds in source rocks changes little at low maturity stage, but decreases drastically at higher maturity levels, with a concurrent reduction in the odd/even carbon predominance. 4Characteristics of the lower layer of sandstorms in the Minqin desert-oasis zone显示文摘By measuring the sand-dust flux,vertical deposition,and the wind velocity throughout 19 sandstorms in the Minqin region,we quantitatively analyzed the horizontal distribution and vertical variation in sandstorm characteristics under different land cover conditions.The effect of different land cover on mitigating sandstorms was also investigated.The results indicated that,in the surface layer ranging from 0-50 m,the intensity of sand-dust horizontal flux and concentration of sand-dust decreased with the increase of the height in the desert and the edge of oasis,whereas the two physical quantities increased slightly with the increase of the height in the oasis.The two physical quantities obey power function well under all three cover conditions.Moreover,in the desert and at the edge of oasis,the sand-dust vertical deposition decreased with the increase of the height.But a partial unimodal distribution at the oasis site and the maximum deposition occurred at the height of 9 m,which corresponds to the middle height of farmland protection forest.The annual flux that passed through a section of 1 m in width and 50 m in height was 9169 kg in the desert,5318 kg at the edge of oasis,and 2345 kg in the oasis.And the annual fluxes at the edge of oasis and in the oasis are 42% and 74% less,respectively,than that in the desert.This implies that the wind break forest significantly reduced the intensity of sandstorms.ZHAO Ming ZHAN KeJie YANG ZiHui FANG ErTian QIU GuoYu WANG QiangQiang ZHANG YinChang GUO ShuJiang LI AiDe ZHANG JingChun 2011Science China Earth Sciences2011,54,5:8
5Depositional environment of terrestrial petroleum source rocks and geochemical indicators in the Songliao Basin显示文摘To determine geochemical indicators for depositional environment favored by terrestrial petroleum source rocks, we selected 40 source rock samples from the Late Cretaceous Qingshankou Formation (K2qn) and the first member of Nenjiang Formation (K2n1) in the Songliao Basin to qualify saturate fraction and aromatic fraction using GC-HRT (gas chromatography high reso lution time-of-flight mass spectrometry) and quantify important biomarkers using GC-MS. The results reveal that source rocks from the 1st member of Qingshankou Formation (K2qn1) are characterized by not only high contents of terpanes, regular ster anes and 4-methylsteranes but also high contents of dinosteranes, C31 steranes and aryl isoprenoids. Presence of specific bi omarkers like elementary sulfur and lanostanes indicates a depositional environment of lagoon characterized by water stratifi cation and high salinity. In the 2nd-3rd members of Qingshankou Formation (K2qn2+3), source rocks contain lower contents of biomarkers, indicating a depositional environment of shallow fresh-water lake delta. Source rocks in the K2n1 contain high contents of terpanes, regular steranes and 4-methylsteranes but lower contents of dinosteranes, C31 steranes and aryl isopre noids, indicating a depositional environment of fresh-brackish open lake characterized by low salinity and poor water stratifi cation, where organic matter is seriously altered by bacteria. 6Effects of Planting Density on Growth of New Clones in Populus tomentosa显示文摘Effects of seven planting densities on the growth and tree form of nine 5-year-old new clones in Populus tomentosa were studied. The plantations, arranged with completely random block design, were located in Wuzhi County, Henan Province. Results indicated that effects of planting density on the diameter at breast height (DBH), individual volume and growing stock increment of all new clones in P. tomentosa were significant at the 1% level of probability, effects of planting density on the tree height increment of new clones B2 and B31 and on the live branches height (LBH) increment of new clones B5 and B30 were significant at the 5% level of probability, while the interaction between planting density and clone was not significant at the 5% level of probability. It was concluded that the degree of differences among new clones within the same planting density was different with different planting densities and traits. For short rotation industrial timber, clones B1, B3, B4, B5, B7, B9, B31 were suitable with the density of 1 0002 500 trees per hectare, while for bigger diameter timber, clones B1, B3, B4, B7, B9, B31 could be used with the planting density of 660833 trees per hectare. 7Design and experiment of an air-suction potato seed metering device显示文摘An air-suction potato seed metering device was designed to improve the performance of the large-size seed crops planting equipment and provide a solution for problems on the mechanical potato seeder,such as high multiple-seeding index,high missing-seeding index,low qualified index,and limited versatility.The main structure and operation parameters in terms of rotating speed of the device,seeds height and pickup vacuum pressure were determined by theoretical analysis.Two orthogonal tests,conventional tuber(the triaxial average diameter is about 38-57 mm)test and mini-tuber(the triaxial average diameter is about 12-36 mm)test,were conducted to analyze the influences of these factors on the quality of seeding.The multiple-seeding index,missing-seeding index and qualified index were chosen for evaluating the working performance.The results of conventional tuber test showed that,the multiple-seeding index was 1.1%,the missing-seeding index was 0.8%and the qualified index was 98.1%under conditions of the 30 r/min rotating speed,25 cm seeds height and 10 kPa pickup vacuum pressure.The results of mini-tuber test showed that the multiple-seeding index was 0.5%,the missing-seeding index was 0.6%and the qualified index was 98.9%under conditions of 35 r/min rotating speed,17 cm seeds height and 3.5 kPa pickup vacuum.The working performances of the device can meet the requirements of precision seeding.LüJinqing Yang Ying Li Zihui Shang Qinqin Li Jicheng Liu Zhongyuan 2016International Journal of Agricultural and Biological Engineering2016,9,5:5

10A Single-cell Transcriptome Atlas of Cashmere Goat Hair Follicle Morphogenesis显示文摘Cashmere,also known as soft gold,is produced from the secondary hair follicles(SHFs)of cashmere goats.The number of SHFs determines the yield and quality of cashmere;therefore,it is of interest to investigate the transcriptional profiles present during cashmere goat hair follicle development.However,mechanisms underlying this development process remain largely unexplored,and studies regarding hair follicle development mostly use a murine research model.In this study,to provide a comprehensive understanding of cellular heterogeneity and cell fate decisions,single-cell RNA sequencing was performed on 19,705 single cells of the dorsal skin from cashmere goat fetuses at induction(embryonic day 60;E60),organogenesis(E90),and cytodifferentiation(E120)stages.For the first time,unsupervised clustering analysis identified 16 cell clusters,and their corresponding cell types were also characterized.Based on lineage inference,a detailed molecular landscape was revealed along the dermal and epidermal cell lineage developmental pathways.Notably,our current data also confirmed the heterogeneity of dermal papillae from different hair follicle types,which was further validated by immunofluorescence analysis.The current study identifies different biomarkers during cashmere goat hair follicle development and has implications for cashmere goat breeding in the future.Wei Ge Weidong Zhang Yuelang Zhang Yujie Zheng Fang Li Shanhe Wang Jinwang Liu Shaojing Tan Zihui Yan Lu Wang Wei Shen Lei Qu Xin Wang 2021Genomics, Proteomics & Bioinformatics2021,19,3:3

15Experimental and numerical study of a gas cyclone with a central filter显示文摘This paper studies a novel gas cyclone with a cylindrical fiter face installed in the center from the vortex finder to the bottom hopper.The experimental results show that this composite cyclone has a higher collection fficiency and a lower pressure drop than the original cyclone.The mechanisms for the improvement are analyzed by both physical experiments and numerical simulations.By measuring dust samples collected at different places it is revealed that the center filter can prevent fine particles from entering the inner vortex and escaping,which accounts for the increase of the collection eficiency.In addition,the flow field of the composite cyclone is simulated by computational fluid dynamics and compared with that of the original cyclone.The analysis shows that with the filter layer installed,the swirling flow disappears in the vortex finder,which decreases the kinetic energy dissipation and hence lowers the pressure drop.Zihui Zhang Sijie Dong Kejun Dong Li'an Hou Wenzheng Wang Yi Wei Bo Wang 2022Particuology2022,20,4:1
16Crude-oil hydrocarbon composition characteristics and oil viscosity prediction in the northern Songliao Basin显示文摘Crude oil hydrocarbon composition characteristics and oil viscosity prediction are important bases in petroleum exploration.A total of 54 oil/heavy-oil samples and 17 oil sands were analyzed and quantified using both comprehensive 2D gas chromatography(GC×GC)and comprehensive 2D gas chromatography/time-of-flight mass spectrometry(GC×GC/TOFMS).The results show that crude oil in the West slope is mainly heavy oil and its hydrocarbon composition is characterized overall by paraffins>mono-aromatics>naphthenes>non-hydrocarbons>di-aromatics>tri-aromatics>tetra-aromatics.Aromatics are most abundant and non-hydrocarbons are least abundant,whilst content differences among paraffins,naphthenes,aromatics,and non-hydrocarbons are less than 15%.There are two types of heavy oil,secondary type and mixing type.Biodegradation is the main formation mechanism of heavy oil.Biodegradation levels cover light biodegradation,moderate biodegradation,and severe biodegradation.With increasing biodegradation,paraffin content decreases while contents of aromatics and nonhydrocarbons increase.In contrast,naphthene content increases first and then decreases with increasing biodegradation.In severe biodegradation stage,naphthenes decrease more quickly than aromatics and non-hydrocarbons.This provides a new method for studying oil/heavy-oil biodegradation mechanism and biodegradation resistance of different hydrocarbons at different biodegradation stages.In the Longhupao-Daan terrace and Qijia-Gulong depression,most crude oil is conventional oil.Its composition is dominated by paraffins with the lowest content of aromatics.In some casual oil wells from the Longhupao-Daan terrace,crude oil from Saertu oil reservoirs is moderately biodegraded whereas crude oil from Putaohua oil reservoir is lightly biodegraded.Chemical parameters using saturate hydrocarbons and aromatics are usually not suitable for determining organic type and thermal maturity of biodegraded oil,especially of moderately or severely biodegraded oil,whilst Ts/(Ts+Tm)ratio can be used to determine thermal maturity of both conventional crude oil and heavy oil.ZHANG JuHe FENG ZiHui FANG Wei HUO QiuLi ZHANG Kun LI JingKun ZENG HuaSen ZHANG BoWei 2014Science China Earth Sciences2014,57,2:1
17Shale oil enrichment evaluation and production law in Gulong Sag,Songliao Basin,NE China显示文摘Based on the results of drilling,tests and simulation experiments,the shales of the Cretaceous Qingshankou Formation in the Gulong Sag of the Songliao Basin are discussed with respect to hydrocarbon generation evolution,shale oil occurrence,and pore/fracture evolution mechanism.In conjunction with a substantial amount of oil testing and production data,the Gulong shale oil enrichment layers are evaluated and the production behaviors and decline law are analyzed.The results are drawn in four aspects.First,the Gulong shales are in the stage of extensive hydrocarbon expulsion when R_(0) is 1.0%-1.2%,with the peak hydrocarbon expulsion efficiency of 49.5%approximately.In the low-medium maturity stage,shale oil migrates from kerogen to rocks and organic pores/fractures.In the medium-high maturity stage,shale oil transforms from adsorbed state to free state.Second,the clay mineral intergranular pores/fractures,dissolution pores,and organic pores make up the majority of the pore structure.During the transformation,clay minerals undergo significant intergranular pore/fracture development between the minerals such as illite and illite/smectite mixed layer.A network of pores/fractures is formed by organic matter cracking.Third,free hydrocarbon content,effective porosity,total porosity,and brittle mineral content are the core indicators for the evaluation of shale oil enrichment layers.Class-I layers are defined as free hydrocarbon content equal or greater than 6.0 mg/g,effective porosity equal or greater than 3.5%,total porosity equal or greater than 8.0%,and brittle mineral content equal or greater than 50%.It is believed that the favourable oil layers are Q2-Q3 and Q8-Q9.Fourth,the horizontal wells in the core area of the light oil zone exhibit a high cumulative production in the first year,and present a hyperbolic production decline pattern,with the decline index of 0.85-0.95,the first-year decline rate of 14.5%-26.5%,and the single-well estimated ultimate recovery(EUR)greater than 2.0×10^(4)t.In practical exploration and production,more efforts will be devoted to the clarification of hydrocarbon generation and expulsion mechanisms,accurate testing of porosity and hydrocarbon content/phase of shale under formation conditions,precise delineation of the boundary of enrichment area,relationship between mechanical properties and stimulated reservoir volume,and enhanced oil recovery,in order to improve the EUR and achieve a large-scale,efficient development of shale oil.SUN Longde CUI Baowen ZHU Rukai WANG Rui FENG Zihui LI Binhui ZHANG Jingya GAO Bo WANG Qingzhen ZENG Huasen LIAO Yuanhui JIANG Hangl 2023Petroleum Exploration and Development2023,50,3:1

19An insight into aggregation kinetics of polystyrene nanoplastics interaction with metal cations显示文摘Once inevitably released into the aquatic environment,polystyrene nanoplastics(PS-NPs)will present complicated environmental behaviors,of which the aggregation is a key process determining their environmental fate and impact.In this study,the aggregation kinetics of different sizes(30 nm and 100 nm)of PS-NPs with metal cations(Na^(+),K^(+),Ca^(2+),Mg^(2+)and Pb^(2+))at different solution pH(3,6 and 8)were investigated.The results showed that the aggregation of PS-NPs increased with cation concentration.Taking Pb^(2+)as an example,the adsorption behavior of cations onto PS-NPs was determined by transmission electron microscopy(TEM)and energy dispersive X-ray(EDX)spectroscopy,which demonstrated Pb^(2+)could be adhered onto the surface of PS-NPs with the effect of charge neutralization.The critical coagulation concentrations(CCC)of smaller PS-NPs were higher than that of larger PS-NPs for monovalent cations,whereas a different pattern is observed for divalent cations.It was suggested that there were other factors that DLVO theory does not consider affect the stability of NPs with different particle sizes.In addition,it should be noted that PS-NPs had the capacity of adsorbing large amounts of heavy metal cations and carried them transport to a long distance,and the corresponding ecological risks need to further elucidate.Yucheng Zhang Xiaotong Su Nora FYTam Xiaolan Lao Meiling Zhong Qihang Wu Huifang Lei Zihui Chen Zhang Li Jie Fu 2022Chinese Chemical Letters2022,33,12:1
20Effects of separate and mutual application of Na and Si on drought resistance of Haloxylon ammodendron显示文摘We studied pot cultivated Haloxylon ammodendron's growth, physiological changes and drought resistance under NaCl, H2SiO3 , and NaCl+H2SiO3 treatments. Results show that 0.3g/kg NaCl, 0.2g/kg H2SiO3 or 0.3g/kg NaCl+0.1g/kg H2SiO3 treatments can effectively promote growth and improve the drought resistance of H. ammodendron. Compared with that without NaCl treatment, H. ammodendron's height, crown diameter and fresh weight increased by 42%, 91% and 62% respectively under 0.3g/kg NaCl treatment, and its main stem diameter, main root diameter and main root length increased by 40%, 39% and 23%, respectively. Compared with that without H2SiO3 treatments, H. ammodendron's height, crown diameter and fresh weight increased by 36%, 45% and 27% respectively under 0.2g/kg H2SiO3 treatment, and its main stem diameter, main root diameter and main root length increased by 23%, 23% and 20%, respectively. Compared with that under 0.3 g/kg NaCl treatment, H. ammodendron's height, crown diameter and fresh weight and main root length increased by 9%, 10%, 17% and 12% respectively under 0.3g/kg NaCl+0.1g/kg H2SiO3 treatment. Compared with that under 0.1g/kg H2SiO3 treatment, H. ammodendron's height, crown diameter and fresh weight increased by 28%, 76% and 68% respectively under 0.3g/kg NaCl+0.1g/kg H2SiO3 treatment, and its main stem diameter, main root diameter and main root length increased by 30%, 32% and 27%, respectively.
