| 2 | Frozen subduction in the Yangtze block:insights from the deep seismic profiling and gravity anomaly in east Sichuan fold belt显示文摘The Sichuan basin is the main part of the middle-upper Yangtze block, which has been experienced a long-term tectonic evolution since Archean. The Yangtze block was regarded as a stable block until the collision with the Cathaysia block in late Neoproterozoic. A new deep seismic reflection profile conducted in the eastern Sichuan fold belt(ESFB) discovered a serials of south-dipping reflectors shown from lower crust to the mantle imply a frozen subduction zone within the Yangtze block. In order to prove the speculation, we also obtain the middle-lower crustal gravity anomalies by removing the gravity anomalies induced by the sedimentary rocks and the mantle beneath the Moho, which shows the mid-lower crustal structure of the Sichuan basin can be divided into eastern and western parts. Combined with the geochronology and Aeromagnetic anomalies, we speculated the Yangtze block was amalgamated by the West Sichuan and East Sichuan blocks separated by the Huayin-Chongqing line. | 3 | Lifetime maximization routing with network coding in wireless multihop networks显示文摘In this paper, we consider the lifetime maximization routing with network coding in wireless mul- tihop networks. We first show that lifetime maximization with network coding is different from pure routing, throughput maximization with network coding and energy minimization with network coding. Then we formulate lifetime maximization problems in three different cases of (i) no network coding, (ii) two-way network coding, and (iii) overhearing network coding. To solve these problems, we use flow augmenting routing (FA) for the first case, and then extend the FA with network coding (FANC) by using energy minimized one-hop network coding. After that, we investigate the influence of parameters of FANC, evaluate the performance of FANC with two-way and overhearing network coding schemes and compare it with that without network coding under two different power control models, namely, protocol and physical ones. | 6 | The Deep Structure Feature of the Sichuan Basin and Adjacent Orogens显示文摘The basin-mountain system in the Sichuan Basin(SCB) reflects the main tectonic activity and the orogenic denudation in this region. The seismic probing work reveals the deep structure of the basin-mountain system. The seismic work was re-sampled to the Moho depth and the sedimentary thickness as well as the P-wave velocity-depth function to analyze the deep structure of the SCB and adjacent orogens. The results show two deposit centers in the SCB: the Deyang area in the west and the Nanchuan area in the east and depression uplift exists in the southwestern part of the SCB; the Moho shallowers gradually from the west to east(ca. 62-36 km deep),the South-North seismic belt(SNSB) is very distinctive: the Moho depth is much shallower(< 50 km)to the east of the SNSB, whereas it is much deeper(>50 km)to the west of the SNSB, suggesting that the SNSB rather than the Longmen Shan tectonic belt is a main Moho transition belt; the topography and the top interface of the basement have the same undulation trend when the sedimentary thickness and the Moho depth have a mirror relationship; the low velocity zone developed in the Kangdian thrust and fold belt and Songpan-Garzê belt implied a soft, weak and thick crust there showing tectonic activity in these areas. | XIONG Xiaosong GAO Rui GUO Lianghui WANG Haiyan JIANG Zhuwei | 2015 | Acta Geologica Sinica(English Edition)2015,89,4: | 3 |
| 7 | Observation and research of deep underground multi-physical fields—Huainan–848 m deep experiment显示文摘Compared with the surface,the deep environment has the advantages of allowing“super-quiet and ultra-clean”-geophysical field observation with low vibration noise and little electromagnetic interference,which are conducive to the realization of long-term and high-precision observation of multi-physical fields,thus enabling the solution of a series of geoscience problems.In the Panyidong Coal Mine,where there are extensive underground tunnels at the depth of 848 m below sea level,we carried out the first deep-underground geophysical observations,including radioactivity,gravity,magnetic,magnetotelluric,background vibration and six-component seismic observations.We concluded from these measurements that(1)the background of deep subsurface gravity noise in the long-period frequency band less than 2 Hz is nearly two orders of magnitude weaker than that in the surface observation environment;(2)the underground electric field is obviously weaker than the surface electric field,and the relatively high frequency of the underground field,greater than 1 Hz,is more than two orders of magnitude weaker than that of the surface electric field;the east-west magnetic field underground is approximately the same as that at the surface;the relatively high-frequency north-south magnetic field underground,below 10 Hz,is at least one order of magnitude lower than that at the surface,showing that the underground has a clean electromagnetic environment;(3)in addition to the highfrequency and single-frequency noises introduced by underground human activities,the deep underground space has a significantly lower background vibration noise than the surface,which is very beneficial to the detection of weak earthquake and gravity signals;and(4)the underground roadway support system built with ferromagnetic material interferes the geomagnetic field.We also found that for deep observation in the“ultra-quiet and ultra-clean”environment,the existing geophysical equipment and observation technology have problems of poor adaptability and insufficient precision as well as data cleaning problems,such as the effective separation of the signal and noise of deep observation data.It is also urgent to interpret and comprehensively utilize these high-precision multi-physics observation data. | Yun WANG Yaxin YANG Heping SUN Chengliang XIE Qisheng ZHANG Xiaoming CUI Chang CHEN Yongsheng HE Qiangqiang MIAO Chaomin MU Lianghui GUO Jiwen TENG | 2023 | Science China Earth Sciences2023,66,1: | 3 |
| 8 | Ln2Zr2O7 compounds(Ln=La,Pr, Sm, Y) with varied rare earth A sites for low temperature oxidative coupling of methane显示文摘With the objective to develop catalysts having application potential for oxidative coupling of methane (OCM) at relatively lower temperature. A series of Ln2Zr2O7 compounds with varied rare earth A sites have been prepared by a co-precipitation method. XRD and Raman have proved that pure Ln2Zr2O7 compounds have been successfully prepared for all the catalysts. By decreasing the rA/rB ratio, their crystalline structure transform from an ordered pyrochlore (La2Zr2O7) to a less ordered pyrochlore (Pr2Zr2O7 and Sm2Zr2O7) and eventually to a defective cubic fluorite phase (Y2Zr2O7). H2-TPR, O2-TPD and XPS have testified that the amount of surface active O2-species follows the order of La2Zr2O7>Pr2Zr2O7>Sm2Zr2O7 > Y2Zr2O7, which is well consistent with the reaction performance, indicating that the abundance of surface O2- sites is a critical factor influencing the reaction performance. CO2-TPD has demonstrated that a better catalyst generally possesses a larger amount of surface moderate alkaline sites, which is another factor to affect the reaction performance. It is concluded that the concerted interaction between the two types of surface active sites controls the reaction performance of the Ln2Zr2O7 catalysts. | 15 | Efficient thermal dissipation in wafer-scale heterogeneous integration of single-crystalline��β-Ga_(2)O_(3)thin film on SiC显示文摘The semiconductor,β-Ga_(2)O_(3)is attractive for applications in high power electronic devices with low conduction loss due to its ultra-wide bandgap(∼4.9 eV)and large Baliga’s figure of merit.However,the thermal conductivity of��β-Ga_(2)O_(3)is much lower than that of other wide/ultra-wide bandgap semiconductors,such as SiC and GaN,which results in the deterioration of��β-Ga_(2)O_(3)-based device performance and reliability due to self-heating.To overcome this problem,a scalable thermal management strategy was proposed by heterogeneously integrating wafer-scale single-crystalline��β-Ga_(2)O_(3)thin films on a highly thermally conductive SiC substrate.Characterization of the transferred��β-Ga_(2)O_(3)thin film indicated a uniform thickness to within±2.01%,a smooth surface with a roughness of 0.2 nm,and good crystalline quality with an X-ray rocking curves(XRC)full width at half maximum of 80 arcsec.Transient thermoreflectance measurements were employed to investigate the thermal properties.The thermal performance of the fabricated��β-Ga_(2)O_(3)/SiC heterostructure was effectively improved in comparison with that of the��β-Ga_(2)O_(3)bulk wafer,and the effective thermal boundary resistance could be further reduced to 7.5 m 2 K/GW by a post-annealing process.Schottky barrier diodes(SBDs)were fabricated on both a��β-Ga_(2)O_(3)/SiC heterostructured material and a��β-Ga_(2)O_(3)bulk wafer.Infrared thermal imaging revealed the temperature increase of the SBDs on��β-Ga_(2)O_(3)/SiC to be one quarter that on the��β-Ga_(2)O_(3)bulk wafer with the same applied power,which suggests that the combination of the��-Ga_(2)O_(3)thin film and SiC substrate with high thermal conductivity promotes heat dissipation in��β-Ga_(2)O_(3)-based devices. | Wenhui Xu Tiangui You Yibo Wang Zhenghao Shen Kang Liu Lianghui Zhang Huarui Sun Ruijie Qian Zhenghua An Fengwen Mu Tadatomo Suga Genquan Han Xin Ou Yue Hao Xi Wang | 2021 | Fundamental Research2021,1,6: | 0 |
