1Melatonin enhances radiofrequency-induced NK antitumor immunity,causing cancer metabolism reprogramming and inhibition of multiple pulmonary tumor development显示文摘Surgery is the comm on treatme nt for early lung cancer with multiple pulm onary no dules,but it is often accompanied by the problem of significant malignancy of other nodules in non-therapeutic areas.In this study,we found that a combined treatment of local rad iofreq ue ncy ablati on(RFA)and melatonin(MLT)greatly improved clinical outcomes for early lung cancer patie nts with multiple pulmonary nodules by minimizing lung function injury and reducing the probability of malignant transformation or enlargement of nodules in non-ablated areas.Mechanically,as demonstrated in an associated mouse lung tumor model,RFA not only effectively remove treated tumors but also stimulate antitumor immunity,which could inhibit tumor growth in non-ablated areas.MLT enhanced RFA-stimulated NK activity and exerted synergistic antitumor effects with RFA.Transcriptomics and proteomics analyses of residual tumor tissues revealed enhanced oxidative phosphorylation and reduced acidification as well as hypoxia in the tumor microenvironment,which suggests reprogrammed tumor metabolism after combined treatment with RFA and MLT.Analysis of residual tumor further revealed the depressed activity of MAPK,NF-kappa B,Wnt,and Hedgehog pathways and upregulated P53 pathway in tumors,which was in line with the inhibited tumor growth.Combined RFA and MLT treatment also reversed the Warburg effect and decreased tumor malignancy.These findings thus demonstrated that combined treatment of RFA and MLT effectively inhibited the malignancy of non-ablated nodules and provided an innovative non-invasive strategy for treating early lung tumors with multiple pulmonary nodules.Trial registration:www.chictr.org.cn,identifier ChiCTR2100042695,http://gffzz62a03ee25e6f4a77h6fqo65qqu5bp6n0b.ffgz.tsg.suse.edu.cn/showproj.aspx?proj=120931.Ming Li Bingjie Hao Menghuan Zhang Russel J.Reiter Shumeng Lin Tiansheng Zheng Xiangyun Chen Yanbei Ren Liduo Yue Baigenzhin Abay Guojie Chen Xiao Xu Yufeng Shi Lihong Fan 2021Signal Transduction and Targeted Therapy2021,6,10:6
2Preparation and characteristics of flexible all-organic thin-film field-effect transistor显示文摘All-organic thin-film field-effect transistor was prepared on flexible poly(ethylene-terephthalate) (PET) substrate. Poly(methyl-methacrylate) (PMMA) and pentacene are used as a dielectric layer and a semiconductor layer, respectively. The hole mobility of the transistor can reach 2.10×10-2 cm2/Vs, and the on/off current ratio was larger than 105. The performances of the transistor, when the substrate is cured under different radius, were also measured. 3Recent progress in interface modification for dye-sensitized solar cells显示文摘Interface modification on the TiO2/dye/electrolyte interface of dye-sensitized solar cells (DSCs) is one of the most effective approaches to suppress the charge recombination,improve electron injection and transportation,and thus ameliorate the conversion efficiency and stability of DSCs.Conventional research focusing on the photoanodes interface modification before sensitization in dye-sensitized solar cells has been carried out and reviewed.However,recent studies showed that post-modification after sensitization of the TiO2 electrode also plays a significant role on the TiO2/dye/electrolyte interface.This post-modification using the immersing method could deprotonate dye molecules,prohibit the dye aggregation and retard the recombination reaction.As a result,it has great influence on the devices' photovoltaic performance.This interface modification could also provide an approach to broaden the response of the solar spectrum by introducing an alternative assembling structure.An in-situ meaning of using a co-adsorbent is employed to modify the interface in the DSCs,which could retard the aggregation of the dye molecules and enhance the conversion efficiency.In addition,electrolyte additives can be used to modify the TiO2/dye/electrolyte interface through some unique mechanisms.Based on the background of interface modification of photoanodes before sensitization,this review introduces various interface modifications after sensitization of dye-sensitized solar cells and their mechanisms.MA BeiBei,GAO Rui,WANG LiDuo,ZHU YiFeng,SHI YanTao,GENG Yi,DONG HaoPeng & QIU Yong Key Lab of Organic Optoelectronics & Molecular Engineering of Ministry of Education Department of Chemistry,Tsinghua University,Beijing 100084,China 2010Science China Chemistry2010,53,8:4

6Transparent organic light-emitting diodes based on Cs_2 CO_3:Ag/Ag composite cathode显示文摘The transparent organic light-emitting diodes (TOLEDs) based on Cs 2 CO 3:Ag/Ag composite cathode are reported in this paper.They show higher efficiency and better stability than the control devices with the Cs 2 CO 3 /Ag cathode.The devices are highly transparent,and show total efficiencies from both sides of the devices comparable with conventional bottom-emitting devices.The electroluminescence (EL) spectrum from the cathode side of the device is closer to the photoluminescence (PL) spectrum of the light-emitting material than that from the anode side.The effect of the cathode Ag thickness on the device performance has been investigated.It is observed that a critical Ag thickness of 15 nm is required to form a good Ag film with high optical transparency and electrical conductivity.LIU Qian DUAN Lian ZHANG DeQiang QIAO Juan WANG LiDuo DONG GuiFang QIU Yong 2010Chinese Science Bulletin2010,55,15:2

9Experimental and theoretical study of the charge transport property of 4,4′-N,N′-dicarbazole-biphenyl显示文摘The hole and electron mobilities of the amorphous films of the organic semiconductor 4,4′-N,N′-dicarbazole-biphenyl (CBP) at different electric fields were measured through the time of flight (TOF) method. Based on its crystalline structure, the hole and electron mobilities of CBP were calculated. A detailed comparison between experimental and theoretical results is necessary for further understanding its charge transport properties. In order to do this, charge mobilities at zero electric field, μ(0), were deduced from experimental data as a link between experimental and theoretical data. It was found that the electron transport of CBP is less affected by traps compared with its hole transport. This unusual phenomenon can be understood through the distributions of frontier molecular orbitals. 12Synthesis and characterization of nano/microstructured crystalline germanium dioxide with novel morphology显示文摘Nano/micro-structured germanium oxide (GeO2) was prepared using GeCl4 and KOH by a simple solution method in alkalic alcoholic solution. Different morphologies of GeO2 were obtained by changing the reaction conditions. The effects of the reaction time, the concentration of the reactants, the reaction temperature and the dispersant upon the morphology of the deposited GeO2 have been investigated. The products were detected by X-ray diffraction (XRD), atomic force microscope (AFM), scanning electron microscope (SEM) and transmission electron microscope (TEM). Novel cross-like structures were obtained by using n-butylamine as the dispersant. 18New hybrid encapsulation for flexible organic light-emitting devices on plastic substrates显示文摘The hybrid encapsulation for flexible organic light-emitting devices on plastic substrate was investi- gated. The hybrid encapsulation consisted of four periods of Alq3/LiF layers as the pre-encapsulation layer and a flexible aluminum foil coated with getter as the encapsulation cap. We measured the device lifetime at a continuous constant current of 20 mA/cm2, which corresponded to an initial luminance of 2000 cd/m2. The half-luminance decay time of the encapsulated device was about 458 h.
