| 1 | A novel LMI criterion for power system stability with multiple time-delays显示文摘This paper presents a novel LMI criterion for electric power system stability with multiple time-delays.Initially,the linear time-invariant model of the power system with multiple delays is constructed,subsequently,the former criteria and the novel criterion of this paper are demonstrated in this paper,and the novel criterion is fully proved according to Lyapunov direct method.Specifically,the proposed criterion utilizes a properly simplified Lyapunov-Krasovskii functional,and no free-weighting matrix is introduced in the formation of new criterion,as a consequence,the calculation efficiency is remarkably enhanced.A typical second-order delay system,a single-generator-infinite-bus system and the WSCC 3-generator-9-bus delay system are taken to validate the effectiveness and efficiency enhancement of the proposed criterion.The numerical results indicate that the criterion of this paper can generate the same stability margin with the former ones.Further,the numerical results also verify that the proposed criterion’s efficiency is substantially boosted and calculation time is greatly curtailed. | JIANG YiLang JIANG Tao JIA HongJie DONG ChaoYu | 2014 | Science China(Technological Sciences)2014,57,7: | 13 |
| 2 | Numerical study on the correlation of transonic single-degree-of-freedom flutter and buffet显示文摘Transonic single-degree-of-freedom(SDOF) flutter and transonic buffet are the typical and complex aeroelastic phenomena in the transonic flow. In this study, transonic aeroelastic issues of an elastic airfoil are investigated using Unsteady Reynolds-Averaged Navier-Stokes(URANS) equations. The airfoil is free to vibrate in SDOF of pitching. It is found that, the coupling system may be unstable and SDOF self-excited pitching oscillations occur in pre-buffet flow condition, where the free-stream angle of attack(AOA) is lower than the buffet onset of a stationary airfoil. In the theory of classical aeroelasticity, this unstable phenomenon is defined as flutter. However, this transonic SDOF flutter is closely related to transonic buffet(unstable aerodynamic models) due to the following reasons. Firstly, the SDOF flutter occurs only when the free-stream AOA of the spring suspended airfoil is slightly lower than that of buffet onset, and the ratio of the structural characteristic frequency to the buffet frequency is within a limited range. Secondly, the response characteristics show a high correlation between the SDOF flutter and buffet. A similar 'lock-in' phenomenon exists, when the coupling frequency follows the structural characteristic frequency. Finally, there is no sudden change of the response characteristics in the vicinity of buffet onset, that is, the curve of response amplitude with the free-stream AOA is nearly smooth. | 3 | A progressive method for the collapse of river representation considering geographical characteristics显示文摘During map generalization,the collapse of geometry,which is also called geometric dimension reduction,is a basic generalization operation.When the map scale decreases,rivers with long,shallow polygonal shapes,usually require their dual-line representation to be collapsed to a single line.This study presents a new algorithm called superpixel river collapse(SURC)to convert dual-line rivers to single-line rivers based on raster data.In this method,dual-line rivers are first segmented at different levels of detail using a superpixel method called simple linear iterative clustering.Then,by connecting the edge midpoints and centre of mass of each superpixel,single-line rivers are preliminarily generated from dual-line rivers.Finally,an interpolation algorithm called polynomial approximation with an exponential kernel is applied to maintain the uniform distribution of the feature points of single-line rivers at different levels of detail(LOD).The presented method can progressively collapse the river during scale transformation to support the LOD representation in a highly sensitive way.The results show that compared with three typical thinning algorithms,the SURC method can generate smooth single-line rivers from dual-line rivers considering different river widths while effectively avoiding burrs and fractured intersections. | Yilang Shen Tinghua Ai Jingzhong Li Lina Huang Wende Li | 2020 | International Journal of Digital Earth2020,13,12: | 3 |
| 4 | Abnormal changes of dynamic derivatives at low reduced frequencies显示文摘A number of studies have found that abnormal changes of dynamic derivatives occurred at very low reduced frequencies, but its inducement mechanism is not very clear. This paper has researched the abnormal changes and analyzed the influence on some parameters by solving the unsteady flow around forced oscillation airfoils based on Navier-Stokes equations. Results indicate that when the reduced frequency approaches to zero, the dynamic derivatives obtained by the numerical method will diverge. We have also proven it in theory that this phenomenon is not physical but completely caused by numerical singularity. Furthermore, the abnormal phenomenon can be effectively mitigated by using the time spectral method to solve the aerodynamic forces and the integral method to obtain the dynamic derivatives. When the reduced frequency is in the range of 0.001–0.01, the dynamic derivative maintains nearly unchanged for the whole speed region. | 5 | Red phosphorescent organic light-emitting diodes based on a novel host material with thermally activated delayed fluorescent properties显示文摘High cost of phosphors and significant efficiency roll-off at high brightness are the two main factors that limit the wide application of phosphorescent organic light-emitting diodes (PHOLEDs). Efforts have been paid to find ways to reduce the phosphors’ concentration and efficiency roll-off of PHOLEDs. In this work, we reported red emission PHOLEDs with low dopant concentration and low efficiency roll-off based on a novel host material 2,4-biscyanophenyl-6-(12-phenylindole[2,3-a]carbazole-11-yl)-1,3,5-triazine (BCPICT), with thermally activated delayed fluorescent(TADF) properties. | 8 | Fast frequency response of inverter-based resources and its impact on system frequency characteristics显示文摘The inertia response and primary frequency regulation capability of synchronous grids are declining owing to the increasing penetration of inverter-based resources. The fast frequency response(FFR) of inverter-based resources is an important mitigation option for maintaining grid security under the conditions of low inertia and insufficient primary frequency response capability. However, the understanding and technical characteristics of the FFR of inverter-based resources are still unclear. Aiming at solving the aforementioned problems, this paper proposes a definition for FFR based on the impact mechanism of FFR on system frequency. The performance requirements of FFR are clarified. Then, the effects of FFR on system frequency characteristics are further analyzed based on steady-state frequency deviation, the initial rate of change of frequency, and the maximum transient frequency deviation. | 9 | A raster-based typification method for multiscale visualization of building features considering distribution patterns显示文摘In map multiscale visualization,typification is the process of replacing original objects,such as buildings,using a smaller number of objects while maintaining initial geometrical and distribution characteristics.During the past few decades,many vector-based methods for building typification have been developed,whereas raster-based methods have received less attention.In this paper,a new method for the typification of buildings with different distribution patterns called superpixel building typification(SUBT)is developed based on raster data.Using this method,buildings with different distribution patterns,such as linear,grid and irregular patterns,are first grouped by image connected component detection and superpixel analysis.Then,the new positions for building typification are determined by superpixel resegmentation.Finally,a new representation of the buildings is determined through analysis of the orientation and shape of the buildings in each superpixel.To test the proposed SUBT method,buildings from both cities and countrysides in China are applied to perform typification.The experimental results show that the proposed SUBT method can realize typification for buildings with linear,grid and irregular distributions while effectively maintaining the original distribution characteristics of the buildings. | Yilang Shen Jingzhong Li Ziqi Wang Rong Zhao Lu Wang | 2022 | International Journal of Digital Earth2022,15,1: | 1 |

| 18 | CX3C-chemokine receptor 1 modulates cognitive dysfunction induced by sleep deprivation显示文摘Background:Microglia plays an indispensable role in the pathological process of sleep deprivation(SD).Here,the potential role of microglial CX3C-chemokine receptor 1(CX3CR1)in modulating the cognition decline during SD was evaluated in terms of microglial neuroinflammation and synaptic pruning.In this study,we aimed to investigat whether the interference in the microglial function by the CX3CR1 knockout affects the CNS's response to SD.Methods:Middle-aged wild-type(WT)C57BL/6 and CX3CR1^(−/−)mice were either subjected to SD or allowed normal sleep(S)for 8 h to mimic the pathophysiological changes of middle-aged people after staying up all night.After which,behavioral and histological tests were used to explore their different changes.Results:CX3CR1 deficiency prevented SD-induced cognitive impairments,unlike WT groups.Compared with the CX3CR1^(−/−)S group,the CX3CR1^(−/−)SD mice reported a markedly decreased microglia and cellular oncogene fos density in the dentate gyrus(DG),decreased expression of pro-inflammatory cytokines,and decreased microglial phagocytosis-related factors,whereas increased levels of anti-inflammatory cytokines in the hippocampus and a significant increase in the density of spines of the DG were also noted.Conclusions:These findings suggest that CX3CR1 deficiency leads to different cerebral behaviors and responses to SD.The inflammation-attenuating activity and the related modification of synaptic pruning are possible mechanism candidates,which indicate CX3CR1 as a candidate therapeutic target for the prevention of the sleep loss-induced cognitive impairments. | Jiawei Xin Chao Wang Xiaojuan Cheng Changfu Xie Qiuyang Zhang Yilang Ke Xuanyu Huang Xiaochun Chen Xiaodong Pan | 2022 | Chinese Medical Journal2022,,2: | 0 |
