1^(40)Ar/^(39)Ar isochron ages of lawsonite blueschists from Jiuquan in the northern Qilian Mountain,NW China,and their tectonic implications显示文摘Using laser 40Ar/39Ar dating method,we have gotten the metamorphic ages of lawsonite blueschist and epidote blueschist from Jiuquan,northern Qilian Mountain,NW China.The high quality laser 40Ar/39Ar dating of glaucophane from lawsonite blueschist gives an isochron age of 413±5 Ma.The isochron age obtained from phengite in epidote blueschist is 415±7 Ma.These data,combining with peak metamorphic P-T conditions and regional geological setting,allow us to infer that the lower limit of the ages of the prograde subduction metamorphism from lawsonite blueschist facies to epidote blueschist facies occurred at ca.413-415 Ma,which also suggests that the formation of lawsonite blueschist in the northern Qilian Mountain maybe resulted from the corner flow in the cold subduction zone.This study shows that the final closing time of the northern Qilian remnant oceanic basin is about 413-415 Ma,which also represents the convergent age between the North China Craton and the Qaidam block.LIN YiHui ZHANG LiFei JI JianQing WANG QianJie SONG ShuGuang 2010Chinese Science Bulletin2010,55,19:15
2The Formation and Evolution of Uvarovite in UHP Serpentinite and Rodingite and its Constraints on Chromium Mobility in the Oceanic Subduction Zone显示文摘The uvarovite-andradite and uvarovite-andradite-grossular solid-solution series are rare in nature.The discovery of uvarovite-andradite in serpentinite and rodingite from the ultra-high pressure(UHP)metamorphic belt in southwestern Tianshan provided an opportunity to investigate its behavior in the subduction zone.Uvarovite(defined as chromiumgarnet)from serpentinite is homogeneous in a single grain,covering compositions in the uvarovite-andradite solid solution series of Adr_(58-66)Uv_(33-41),with few grossular components.Uvarovite from rodingites contain various Cr_(2)O_(3) contents(1.7-17.9 wt%)and mineral compositions being in the range of Adr_(21-31)Uv_(41-50)Grs_(22-37),Adr_(52-90)Uv_(5-25)Grs_(0-21) and Adr_(19-67)Uv_(3-63)Grs_(13-42).Discontinuous chemical variation of uvarovite from core to rim indicates that uvarovite formed by consuming andradite and chromite,which could provide Ca,Cr,Al and Fe.Raman signals of water were identified for uvarovite from both serpentinite and rodingite,with high water content in uvarovite from serpentinite.The high pressure mineral assemblage,as well as the association with perovskite,indicated that the studied uvarovite from serpentinite and rodingite was formed through high pressure metamorphism,during the subduction zone serpentinization and rodingitization.High alkaline and highly reduced fluids released from serpentinization or rodingitization in the oceanic subduction zone promote the mobility of chromium and enable its long-distance migration.ZHANG Cong SHEN Tingting ZHANG Lifei LIN Congcong ZHANG Zhongwei Qin Xueqing HU Han QIU Tian XIANG Zhenqun ZHANG Jianxin 2021Acta Geologica Sinica(English Edition)2021,95,5:1

4The Brassicaceae-specific secreted peptides,STMPs,function in plant growth and pathogen defense显示文摘Low molecular weight secreted peptides have recently been shown to affect multiple aspects of plant growth,development,and defense responses.Here,we performed stepwise BLAST filtering to identify unannotated peptides from the Arabidopsis thaliana protein database and uncovered a novel secreted peptide family,secreted transmembrane peptides(STMPs).These low molecular weight peptides,which consist of an N-terminal signal peptide and a transmembrane domain,were primarily localized to extracellular compartments but were also detected in the endomembrane system of the secretory pathway,including the endoplasmic reticulum and Golgi.Comprehensive bioinformatics analysis identified 10 STMP family members that are specific to the Brassicaceae family.Brassicaceae plants showed dramatically inhibited root growth uponexposure to chemically synthesized STMP1 and STMP2.Arabidopsis overexpressing STMP1,2,4,6,or 10 exhibited severely arrested growth,suggesting that STMPs are involved in regulating plant growth and development.In addition,in vitro bioassays demonstrated that STMP1,STMP2,and STMP10 have antibacterial effects against Pseudomonas syringae pv.tomato DC3000,Ralstonia solanacearum,Bacillus subtilis,and Agrobacterium tumefaciens,demonstrating that STMPs are antimicrobial peptides.These findings suggest that STMP family members play important roles in various developmental events and pathogen defense responses in Brassicaceae plants.Zipeng Yu Yang Xu Lifei Zhu Lei Zhang Lin Liu Di Zhang Dandan Li Changai Wu Jinguang Huang Guodong Yang Kang Yan Shizhong Zhang Chengchao Zheng 2020Journal of Integrative Plant Biology2020,62,4:1

6Preliminary Species Identification of Parasitic Nematodes from Rhizosphere Soil of Grapes in Mengzi City显示文摘The grape cultivation area in Luolongzhuang of Wenlan,Yingfang,Liucun and Shiqicun of Caoba in Mengzi City,Yunnan Province were surveyed from October 2014 to February 2015. Using five-point sampling method,approximately 2 kg of rhizosphere soil were collected from plants with weak growth and brown and wilting root,and 28 soil samples in total were collected. Through morphological identification,the species of parasitic nematodes in rhizosphere soil of grapes were preliminarily identified. 7Effect of initial perturbations on the simulation capability of numerical models显示文摘The effect of an initial perturbation on simulation is studied in a series of numerical experiments using a one-dimensional nonlinear advection equation model. It is shown that the capability of the model tends to decline with an increase in initial perturbation. 8Experimental Investigation on Macro Spray Characteristics of Octanol-Biodiesel-Diesel Ternary Fuel Blend显示文摘This study investigates the spray characteristics of ternary blends composed of octanol, biodiesel, and diesel fuel.Experiments are conducted using six materials to examine the variation in spray characteristic and to verify and compare a previously established spray tip penetration model with a modified model. The results show that the addition of OB100(30%of octanol, 70% of biodiesel) improves the spray characteristics of the fuel. Specifically, the addition of 10% or 20% of OB100 leads to a slight increase in the spray tip penetration, average spray cone angle, maximum spray width, and the spray area of the fuel blend;however, further addition of OB100 causes a corresponding decrease in these parameters. Based on previous research, this study uses kinematic viscosity instead of dynamic viscosity and density to modify the prediction model of spray tip penetration. 9Effect of Extrusion Combination Types on Microstructure and Mechanical Properties of the AZ31/GW103K Bimetallic Composite Plates显示文摘The AZ31/GW103 K bimetallic composite plates were prepared by co-extrusion of different combination types(sandwich extrusion type and double semicircle extrusion type),and effects of different extrusion combination types on the microstructure and mechanical properties of bimetallic composite plates were systematically investigated.The results show that both the AZ31/GW103 K bimetallic composite plates prepared by different extrusion combination types have good metallurgical bonding,and changing the combination type does not affect the thickness of the interfacial transition layer of composite plates.Compared with the monolithic AZ31 and GW103 K extruded plates,co-extrusion can promote the dynamic recrystallization(DRX)of AZ31 and GW103 K components in composite plates,and double semicircular extrusion type has a better promotion effect on the DRX than sandwich extrusion type.In addition,the texture of AZ31 in both monolithic AZ31 and AZ31/GW103 K/AZ31(A/G/A)plates is a typical(0002)basal texture,while that in the AZ31/GW103 K(A/G)composite plate shifts to the tangent direction(TD)of extruded plate.Compared with the monolithic AZ31 extruded plate,both the yield strength and tensile strength of A/G and A/G/A bimetallic composite plates are significantly improved.The strength of A/G/A composite plate is higher than that of A/G composite plate,but its elongation is worse.Meanwhile,co-extrusion reduces the dislocation density of AZ31 and GW 103 K components in composite plates,and different extrusion combination types also affect the dislocation density.Yunpeng Meng Boyu Lin Lifei Wang Jianfeng Fan Shangzhou Zhang Liwei Lu Hans Jφrgen Roven Hua Zhang 2022Acta Metallurgica Sinica(English Letters)2022,35,12:0

11Carboxylated carbon nanotubes with high electrocatalytic activity for oxygen evolution in acidic conditions显示文摘Since most electrocatalysts for oxygen evolution reaction(OER),except for precious metal oxides RuO_(2) and IrO_(2),are unstable in harsh acidic solutions,it is highly desirable to develop high-performance OER electrocatalysts for acidic media,though it is still a big challenge.Herein,we report a simple strategy to produce carboxyl-enriched multiwalled carbon nanotubes(COOH-MWNTs)that exhibit stable and high electrocatalytic activities for OER in acidic solutions,showing an overpotential at a current density of 10 mA cm^(–2) and a Tafel slope as low as of 265 mV and 82 mV dec^(–1),respectively.As far as we are aware,these results represent the best OER performance for metal-free electrocatalysts,even comparable to those of RuO_(2) and IrO_(2).We have further revealed the catalytic mechanism,which involves one electron lose from the COOH-MWNTs catalyst at the beginning of the OER process to trigger H_(2)O molecule oxidation by forming peralcohol,followed by the recapture of one electron from water molecule to oxidize water and to recover the initial state for the COOH-MWNTs catalyst.The unravel of this new OER mechanism is important as it provides new insights into the crucial role of organic functional groups in electrocatalytic processes.Also,the mechanistic understanding can be used to guide the design and development of novel metalfree catalysts for acidic OER electrocatalysis and beyond.Xin Zhang Wenqing Zhang Jianying Dai Mingzi Sun Jun Zhao Lifei Ji Lin Chen Fanlong Zeng Fengchun Yang Bolong Huang Liming Dai 2022InfoMat2022,4,1:0
