| 1 | Synthesis and antiviral bioactivities of novel chiral bis-thiourea-type derivatives containing α-aminophosphonate moiety显示文摘Starting from 1-((1R,2R)-2-aminocyclohexyl)-3-substituted thioureas (3a–c) and substituted isothiocyanates (9a–d),chiral bis-thiourea derivatives containing α-aminophosphonate moiety 10a–l were prepared and completely characterized by elemental analysis,physical and spectral (IR,1H NMR,13C NMR,31P NMR) data.The results of bioassay revealed that compounds 10a and 10e possessed appreciable curative bioactivities on cucumber mosaic virus (CMV) at 0.5 mg/mL in vivo (inhibitory rate = 60.3%,64.8% respectively) and tobacco mosaic virus (TMV) at 0.5 mg/mL in vivo (inhibitory rate = 50.3%,50.8% respectively),which were comparable to the values shown by standard reference (58.7%) and commercial product Ningnanmycin (56.3%),respectively.Chiral compound 10e displayed more potent antiviral activity (EC50 = 0.149 mg/mL) than Ningnanmycin (EC50 = 0.201mg/mL) against CMV. | YANG Xuan SONG BaoAn JIN LinHong WEI Xue BHADURY S Pinaki LI XiangYang YANG Song HU DeYu | 2011 | Science China Chemistry2011,54,1: | 5 |
| 2 | Sulfoalkyl ether β-cyclodextrin derivatives synthesized by a single step method as pharmaceutical biomaterials显示文摘We report a simple 'one pot' single step method to synthesize sulfoalkyl ether β-cyclodextrin (β-CD) derivatives in aqueous solution, which avoids the limitations associated with commonly used organic synthesis of such derivatives including multi-step reactions, use of expensive, toxic, and often environmentally hazardous organic solvents and/or reagents. Using this method, we obtained sulfopropyl and sulfobutyl ethyl β-CDs. We characterized these two derivatives and evaluated their ability to enhance solubility of fluconazole, a commonly used antifungal drug with poor water solubility. Experimental results indicate that these derivatives are structurally analogous to some of the commercially available β-CD derivatives. More importantly, when they formed supramolecular inclusion complexes with fluconazole, they demonstrated similar, if not better, capacity to enhance fluconazole solubility compared with commercially available β-CD derivatives, suggesting that the simple 'one pot' single step synthesis may provide an effective alternative approach to produce large quantity of β-CD derivatives as pharmaceutical biomaterials for medicinal applications. | SONG AiJing WANG JianHua LIU ChunDong DENG LinHong | 2009 | Chinese Science Bulletin2009,54,18: | 4 |

| 8 | Age-specific effectiveness of primary human papillomavirus screening versus cytology in a cervical cancer screening program: a nationwide cross-sectional study显示文摘Background:Primary human papillomavirus(HPV)screening is recommended for the detection of cervical intraepithelial neoplasia(CIN)in the general pop-ulation;however,the triage for HPV-positive women remains a challenge.This study aimed to evaluate the age-specific effectiveness of primary HPV screening versus primary cytology screening for identifying optimal strategies for women of different ages.Methods:The dataset of the prevalence round screening was derived from the National Cervical Cancer Screening Program in China.Primary cervical screen-ing protocols included cytology only,HPV testing with cytology triage,and HPV testing with HPV-16/18 genotyping plus cytology triage.The primary outcomes were age-specific detection rate,colposcopy referral rate and positive predictive value(PPV)for CIN2+.Multivariate Poisson regression was used to evaluate the relativeeffectivenessofHPVtestingandcytologyaccordingtoagegroups.TheI 2 statisticwitharandom-effectmodelwasusedtotesttheheterogeneityinrelative effectiveness of HPV testing versus cytology between age groups.Results:This study included 1,160,981 women.HPV testing with HPV-16/18 genotyping plus cytology triage significantly increased the CIN2+detection by 36%(rate ratio[RR]:1.36,95%confidential interval[CI]1.21–1.54)for women aged 35-44 years and by 34%(RR:1.34,95%CI 1.20-1.51)for women aged 45-54 years compared with cytology only.HPV testing with cytology triage had simi-lar CIN2+detection rate compared with cytology only.The PPVs were substan-tially increased for both HPV testing groups.Among women aged 55-64 years old,HPV testing with HPV-16/18 genotyping plus cytology triage increased the colposcopyreferralrateby19%(RR1.19,95%CI1.10-1.29)comparedwithcytology only,butdidnotincreasetheCIN2+detection(1.09,0.91–1.30).Theeffectiveness ofHPVtestingwithcytologytriagedidnotchangeinolderwomen.Thebetween-age-group heterogeneity in the effectiveness was statistically significant for HPV testing with HPV-16/18 genotyping plus cytology triage versus cytology only.Conclusions:Our results suggested that the effectiveness of primary HPV screeningwithdifferenttriagestrategiesdifferedamongagegroups.HPVtesting with HPV-16/18 genotyping plus cytology triage could be used for women aged 35-54 years to detect more lesions,and HPV testing with cytology triage could balance the CIN2+detection and the number of colposcopies for women aged 55-64 years.Longitudinal data including both prevalence and incidence screen-ing rounds are warranted to assess age-specific triage strategies. | Heling Bao Lan Ma Yanxia Zhao Bo Song Jiangli Di Linhong Wang Yanqiu Gao Wenhui Ren Shi Wang Jiuling Wu Hai-Jun Wang | 2022 | Cancer Communications2022,42,3: | 1 |

| 10 | OPTICALLY TRACKING THE MOTION OF MICROBEADS TO STUDY PHYSICAL BEHAVIORS OF THE LIVING CELL IN RESPONSE TO TRANSIENT STRETCH OR COMPRESSION显示文摘Optical magnetic twisting cytometry and traction force microscopy are two advanced cell mechanics research tools that employ optical methods to track the motion of microbeads that are either bound to the surface or embedded in the substrate underneath the cell.The former measures rheological properties of the cell such as cell stiffness,and the latter measures cell traction force dynamics.Here we describe the principles of these two cell mechanics research tools and an example of using them to study physical behaviors of the living cell in response to transient stretch or compression.We demonstrate that,when subjected to a stretchunstretch manipulation,both the stiffness and traction force of adherent cells promptly reduced,and then gradually recover up to the level prior to the stretch.Immunofluorescent staining and Western blotting results indicate that the actin cytoskeleton of the cells underwent a corresponding disruption and reassembly process almost in step with the changes of cell mechanics.Interestingly,when subjected to compression,the cells did not show such particular behaviors.Taken together,we conclude that adherent cells are very sensitive to the transient stretch but not transient compression,and the stretch-induced cell response is due to the dynamics of actin polymerization. | LINHONG DENG XUEMEI JIANG CHENG CHEN AIJING SONG FENG LIN | 2011 | Journal of Innovative Optical Health Sciences2011,4,2: | 0 |
