| 1 | Collaborative Spectrum Sensing for Illegal Drone Detection: A Deep Learning-Based Image Classification Perspective显示文摘Drones,also known as mini-unmanned aerial vehicles(UAVs),are enjoying great popularity in recent years due to their advantages of low cost,easy to pilot and small size,which also makes them hard to detect.They can provide real time situational awareness information by live videos or high definition pictures and pose serious threats to public security.In this article,we combine collaborative spectrum sensing with deep learning to effectively detect potential illegal drones with states of high uncertainty.First,we formulate the detection of potential illegal drones under illegitimate access and rogue power emission as a quaternary hypothesis test problem.Then,we propose an algorithm of image classification based on convolutional neural network which converts the cooperative spectrum sensing data at a sensing slot into one image.Furthermore,to exploit more information and improve the detection performance,we develop a trajectory classification algorithm which converts theflight process of the drones in consecutive multiple sensing slots into trajectory images.In addition,simulations are provided to verify the proposed methods’performance under various parameter configurations. | Huichao Chen Zheng Wang Linyuan Zhang | 2020 | China Communications2020,17,2: | 6 |
| 2 | Designing method of acceleration and deceleration control schedule for variable cycle engine显示文摘Studies show that different geometries of a Variable Cycle Engine(VCE)can be adjusted during the transient stage of the engine operation to improve the engine performance.However,this improvement increases the complexity of the acceleration and deceleration control schedule.In order to resolve this problem,the Transient-state Reverse Method(TRM)is established in the present study based on the Steady-state Reverse Method(SRM)and the Virtual Power Extraction Method(VPEM).The state factors in the component-based engine performance models are replaced by variable geometry parameters to establish the TRM for a double bypass VCE.Obtained results are compared with the conventional component-based model from different aspects,including the accuracy and the convergence rate.The TRM is then employed to optimize the control schedule of a VCE.Obtained results show that the accuracy and the convergence rate of the proposed method are consistent with that of the conventional model.On the other hand,it is found that the new-model-optimized control schedules reduce the acceleration and deceleration time by 45%and 54%,respectively.Meanwhile,the surge margin of compressors,fuel–air ratio and the turbine inlet temperature maintained are within the acceptable criteria.It is concluded that the proposed TRM is a powerful method to design the acceleration and deceleration control schedule of the VCE. | Linyuan JIA Yuchun CHEN Ronghui CHENG Tian TAN Reran SONG | 2021 | Chinese Journal of Aeronautics2021,34,5: | 5 |
| 3 | Totally homogeneous networks显示文摘In network science,the non-homogeneity of node degrees has been a concerning issue for study.Yet,with today’s modern web technologies,the traditional social communication topologies have evolved from node-central structures into online cycle-based communities,urgently requiring new network theories and tools.Switching the focus from node degrees to network cycles could reveal many interesting properties from the perspective of totally homogenous networks or sub-networks in a complex network,especially basic simplexes(cliques)such as links and triangles.Clearly,compared with node degrees,it is much more challenging to deal with network cycles.For studying the latter,a new clique vector-space framework is introduced in this paper,where the vector space with a basis consisting of links has a dimension equal to the number of links,that with a basis consisting of triangles has the dimension equal to the number of triangles and so on.These two vector spaces are related through a boundary operator,for example mapping the boundary of a triangle in one space to the sum of three links in the other space.Under the new framework,some important concepts and methodologies from algebraic topology,such as characteristic number,homology group and Betti number,will play a part in network science leading to foreseeable new research directions.As immediate applications,the paper illustrates some important characteristics affecting the collective behaviors of complex networks,some new cycle-dependent importance indexes of nodes and implications for network synchronization and brain-network analysis. | Dinghua Shi Linyuan Lu Guanrong Chen | 2019 | National Science Review2019,6,5: | 4 |
| 4 | Protective effects of sodium butyrate on rotavirus inducing endoplasmic reticulum stress-mediated apoptosis via PERK-eIF2αsignaling pathway in IPEC-J2 cells显示文摘Background:Rotavirus(RV)is a major pathogen that causes severe gastroenteritis in infants and young animals.Endoplasmic reticulum(ER)stress and subsequent apoptosis play pivotal role in virus infection.However,the protective mechanisms of intestinal damage caused by RV are poorly defined,especially the molecular pathways related to enterocytes apoptosis.Thus,the aim of this study was to investigate the protective effect and mechanism of sodium butyrate(SB)on RV-induced apoptosis of IPEC-J2 cells.Results:The RV infection led to significant cell apoptosis,increased the expression levels of ER stress(ERS)markers,phosphorylated protein kinase-like ER kinase(PERK),eukaryotic initiation factor 2 alpha(eIF2α),caspase9,and caspase3.Blocking PERK pathway using specific inhibitor GSK subsequently reversed RV-induced cell apoptosis.The SB treatment significantly inhibited RV-induced ERS by decreasing the expression of glucose regulated protein 78(GRP78),PERK,and eIF2α.In addition,SB treatment restrained the ERS-mediated apoptotic pathway,as indicated by downregulation of C/EBP homologous protein(CHOP)mRNA level,as well as decreased cleaved caspase9 and caspase3 protein levels.Furthermore,siRNA-induced GPR109a knockdown significantly suppressed the protective effect of SB on RV-induced cell apoptosis.Conclusions:These results indicate that SB exerts protective effects against RV-induced cell apoptosis through inhibiting ERS mediated apoptosis by regulating PERK-eIF2αsignaling pathway via GPR109a,which provide new ideas for the prevention and control of RV. | Ye Zhao Ningming Hu Qin Jiang Li Zhu Ming Zhang Jun Jiang Manyi Xiong Mingxian Yang Jiandong Yang Linyuan Shen Shunhua Zhang Lili Niu Lei Chen Daiwen Chen | 2021 | Journal of Animal Science and Biotechnology2021,12,4: | 2 |

| 7 | Stability enhancement of PbS quantum dots by site-selective surface passivation for near-infrared LED application显示文摘Infrared lead chalcogenide quantum dots(QDs)suffer fast degradation due to the easy oxidation of surface chalcogen atoms.Here,we report a trioctylphosphine-mediated surface passivation method to improve the air stability of PbS QDs.Surface mechanism study reveals an in situ surface reaction,which leads to site-selective passivation of surface S atoms with lead mono-carboxylate.The surface capping motif sufficiently protects PbS QDs from oxygen and improves their stability as well as quantum efficiency regardless of the QD size and original ligands on surface cations.The modified PbS QDs display no obvious fluorescence quenching and surface oxidization after 30 days of air exposure.The robust surface capping also provides high compatibility of PbS QDs with polymers for optoelectronic device fabrication.The near-infrared LEDs based on the modified PbS QDs display a slight degradation of only 1.47%from the maximum intensity after continuous operation in air for 250 hours(lifetime>10,000 h)at 0.5 W/cm^(2) power density,indicating the surface passivation route is promising strategy for promoting practical optoelectronic application of PbS QDs. | Xinsu Zhang Yujuan Chen Linyuan Lian Zizhen Zhang Yixuan Liu Li Song Chong Geng Jianbing Zhang Shu Xu | 2021 | Nano Research2021,14,3: | 1 |

| 16 | Silicalite-1 zeolite encapsulated Fe nanocatalyst for Fenton-like degradation of methylene blue显示文摘Encapsulation of Fe nanoparticles in zeolite is a promising way to significantly improve the catalytic activity and stability of Fe-based catalysts during the degradation process of organic pollutants.Herein,Fe nanocatalysts were encapsulated into silicalite-1(S-1)zeolite by using a ligand-protected method(with dicyandiamide(DCD)as a organic ligand)under direct hydrothermal synthesis condition.High-resolution transmission electron microscopy(HRTEM)results confirmed the high dispersion of Fe nanocatalysts which were successfully encapsulated within the voids among the primary particles of the S-1 zeolite.The developed S-1 zeolite encapsulated Fe nanocatalyst(Fe@S-1)exhibited significantly improved catalytic activity and reusability in the catalytic degradation process of methylene blue(MB).Specifically,the developed Fe0.021@S-1 catalyst showed high catalytic degradation activity,giving a high MB degradation efficiency of 100%in 30 min,outperformed the conventional impregnated catalyst(Fe/S-1).Moreover,the Fe@S-1 catalyst afforded an outstanding stability,showing only ca.7.9%activity loss after five cycling tests,while the Fe/S-1 catalyst presented a significantly activity loss of 50.9%after only three cycles.Notably,the encapsulation strategy enabled a relatively lower Fe loading in the Fe@S-1 catalyst in comparison with that of the Fe/S-1 catalyst,i.e.,0.35%vs.0.81%(mass).Radical scavenging experiments along with electron spin resonance(ESR)measurements confirmed that the major role ofOH in the MB degradation process.Specifically,Fe@S-1 catalyst with high molar ratio of[Fe(DCD)]Cl3 is beneficial to form Fe complexes/nanoclusters in the voids(which has large pore size of 1–2 nm)among the primary particles of the zeolite,and thus improving the diffusion and accessibility of reactants to Fe active sites,and thus exhibiting a relatively higher degradation efficiency.This work demonstrates that zeolite-encapsulated Fe nanocatalysts present potential applications in the advanced oxidation of wastewater treatment. | Hongwei Guo Linyuan Chen Xueying Zhang Huanhao Chen Yan Shao | 2023 | Chinese Journal of Chemical Engineering2023,53,1: | 0 |

| 19 | Sex differences in eye movements and neural oscillations during mental rotation in virtual reality显示文摘Virtual reality(VR)has been a promising tool for developing visuospatial tasks.Among visuospatial tasks,mental rotation tasks are widely used in the assessment of visuospatial ability.Males have a distinct advantage in mental rotation ability compared to females,yet it is generally produced by investigations based on two-dimensional(2D)images on a computer screen.Sex differences in mental rotation tasks with three-dimensional(3D)objects in VR were not fully investigated.It is unclear whether the male's advantages in 2D mental rotation tasks are weakened in 3D tasks.The aim of this study was to provide new insights into the understanding of sex differences in mental rotation tasks presented in VR.Here,we developed a VR mental rotation task(VR-MRT)using 3D objects presented by a head-mounted display(HMD)and used VR-based eye tracking and electroencephalography(EEG)to examine eye movements and neural oscillations for males and females.Our results showed that females preferred a piecemeal strategy compared to males,suggesting a significant sex difference in visual strategy.More importantly,we found no significant sex differences in alpha-band and beta-band oscillations related to rotation processes of VR-MRT.These findings indicated that sex differences in the VR-MRT were mainly attributed to the selection of visual strategy rather than the rotation processes.The study helps to comprehensively understand the dominant factors contributing to the sex differences in the VR-MRT. | Zhili Tang Xiaoyu Liu Hongqiang Huo Min Tang Xiaofeng Qiao Duo Chen Ying Dong Linyuan Fan Jinghui Wang Xin Du Jieyi Guo Yubo Fan | 2023 | Medicine in Novel Technology and Devices2023,,2: | 0 |
