| 1 | GIS-Based Risk Assessment of Debris Flow Disasters in the Upper Reach of Yangtze River显示文摘This paper discussed theory and methodologies of debris-flow risk assessment and established an implementation process according to indicators of debris-flow hazard degree,vulnerability,risk degree,etc. Among these methodologies,historical and potential hazard degree was comprehensively considered into hazard assessment and hazard index was presented to indicate the debris-flow hazard degree. Regarding debris-flow vulnerability assessment,its statistical data and calculating procedure were based on the hazard-degree regionalization instead of administrative divisions,which improved the as-sessing scientificity and precision. These quantitative methodologies inte-grated with Geography Information System(GIS) were applied to the risk assessment of debris flows in the upper reach of Yangtze River. | 2 | The Chinese Hα Solar Explorer(CHASE) mission: An overview显示文摘The Chinese Hα Solar Explorer(CHASE), dubbed “Xihe”—Goddess of the Sun, was launched on October 14, 2021 as the first solar space mission of China National Space Administration(CNSA). The CHASE mission is designed to test a newly developed satellite platform and to acquire the spectroscopic observations in the Hα waveband. The Hα Imaging Spectrograph(HIS)is the scientific payload of the CHASE satellite. It consists of two observational modes: raster scanning mode and continuum imaging mode. The raster scanning mode obtains full-Sun or region-of-interest spectral images from 6559.7 to 6565.9 ? and from 6567.8 to 6570.6 ? with 0.024 ? pixel spectral resolution and 1 min temporal resolution. The continuum imaging mode obtains photospheric images in continuum around 6689 ? with the full width at half maximum of 13.4 ?. The CHASE mission will advance our understanding of the dynamics of solar activity in the photosphere and chromosphere. | 3 | Calibration procedures for the CHASE/HIS science data显示文摘The Hα line is an important optical line in solar observations containing the information from the photosphere to the chromosphere. To study the mechanisms of solar eruptions and the plasma dynamics in the lower atmosphere, the Chinese Hα Solar Explorer(CHASE) was launched into a Sun-synchronous orbit on October 14, 2021. The scientific payload of the CHASE satellite is the Hα Imaging Spectrograph(HIS). The CHASE/HIS acquires, for the first time, seeing-free Hα spectroscopic observations with high spectral and temporal resolutions. It consists of two observational modes. The raster scanning mode provides full-Sun or region-of-interest spectra at Hα(6559.7-6565.9 ?) and Fe I(6567.8-6570.6 ?) wavebands. The continuum imaging mode obtains full-Sun photospheric images at around 6689 ?. In this paper, we present detailed calibration procedures for the CHASE/HIS science data, including the dark-field and flat-field correction, slit image curvature correction, wavelength and intensity calibration, and coordinate transformation. | 4 | Regional Prediction of Impending Debris Flow Based on Doppler Weather Radar显示文摘Debris flow prediction is one of the important means to re-duce the loss caused by debris flow. This paper built a regional predic-tion model of impending debris flow based on regional environmental background(including topography,geology,land use,and etc.) ,rainfall and debris flow data. A system of regional prediction of impending de-bris flow was set up on ArcGIS 9.0 platform according to the model. The system used forecast precipitation data of Doppler weather radar and observational precipitation data as its input data. | 5 | Carbon-coated Li_4Ti_5O_(12) Anode Materials Synthesized Using H_2TiO_3 as Ti Source显示文摘Two low-cost synthesis routes have been developed to fabricate carbon-coated Li4Ti5O12 by using H2 Ti O3instead of anatase Ti O2 as Ti source through solid-state reaction process. One route is a direct solid mixture of H2 Ti O3, Li2CO3 and pitch followed by high-temperature solid-state reaction. The other includes mixture of H2 Ti O3and Li2CO3 with pitch dissolved in furanidine under vacuum and the same solid-state reaction procedure is followed after the mixture is totally dried. Microstructural investigations indicate that H2 Ti O3exhibits secondary aggregates morphology with primary particle sizes of 10e20 nm. Carbon-coating layers with thickness of 2e3 nm have been observed on Li4Ti5O12 synthesized by the two routes. Cyclic performance, rate capability and electrochemical impedance spectrum of the two Li4Ti5O12/C composites have been performed, which indicate that Li4Ti5O12/C obtained by furanidine-assisted mixture exhibits better electrochemical performance than Li4Ti5O12/C synthesized by direct solid mixture. The possible reasons have been discussed. | 6 | Magnetostratigraphic dating of the Hougou Paleolithic site in the Nihewan Basin,North China显示文摘The fluvio-lacustrine sedimentary sequences in the Nihewan Basin,northern China,are important for studying Quaternary land mammal evolution and Paleolithic settlements in the high-latitude temperate East Asia.Here we report new magnetostratigraphic results that constrain age of the Hougou Paleolithic site in this basin.Magnetite and hematite were identified as carriers of the characteristic remanent magnetizations,with the former being dominant.Magnetic polarity stratigraphy shows that the Hougou sequence recorded the very late Matuyama reverse chron and the Brunhes normal chron.The age of the Hougou Paleolithic site was estimated to be 395 ka based on an averaged rate of sediment accumulation.The combination of our magnetostratigraphy and previously published chronological data for early Paleolithic or human sites in the high-latitude northern China may document a persistent colonization of the hostile high-latitude areas of the eastern Old World during the middle-early Pleistocene. | ZUO TianWen CHENG HongJiang LIU Ping XIE Fei DENG ChengLong | 2011 | Science China Earth Sciences2011,54,11: | 2 |
| 7 | On the technologies of Hα imaging spectrograph for the CHASE mission显示文摘The Hα imaging spectrograph(HIS) is the scientific payload of the first solar space mission, the Chinese Hα solar explorer(CHASE), supported by the China National Space Administration(CNSA). The CHASE/HIS achieves, for the first time in space, Hα spectroscopic observations with high spectral and temporal resolutions. Separate channels for the raster scanning mode(RSM) and continuum imaging mode(CIM) are integrated into one, and a highly integrated design is achieved through multiple folding of the optical path and ultra-light miniaturized components. The design of HIS implements a number of key technologies such as high-precision scanning of the optical field of view(FOV), high-precision integrated manufacturing inspection, a large-tolerance pre-filter window, and full-link solar radiation calibration. | 19 | Monitoring of Land-Cover Dynamic Change in Lancangjiang River Cascaded Hydropower Area显示文摘The analysis of the 3 stages’ (1988,1996,2000) variation of land-cover is performed according to Thematic Mapper (TM) and Enhancement Thematic Mapper(ETM) satellite image by combining ground GIS database with GPS field collected data in the area of Xiaowan-Dachaoshan Reservoirs of Lancangjiang River cascaded Hydropower Area. Consequently, the land-cover is divided into five subclasses, namely water, paddy field and wetland, bare dryland and sparse shrub, secondary forest and density forest. The result showed that the areas of bare land, upland and secondary forest decreased in 1988-1996, whereas from 1996 to 2000, water body and density forest keep invariability while the areas of paddy field and wetland, bare dryland and sparse scrub increasing and the area of secondary forest decrease; Features of reciprocal transformation between density forest and other type of land-cover had two points, i.e. secondary forest, bare dryland and sparse shrub converted to density forest; and density forest converted to secondary forest and paddy field and wetland.
