1Stability improvement of the Nieuwland catalyst in the dimerization of acetylene to monovinylacetylene显示文摘In the process of dimerization of acetylene to produce monovinylacetylene (MVA),the loss of active component CuCl in the Nieuwland catalyst due to the formation of a dark red precipitate was investigated.The formula of the precipitate was CuCl·2C2H2·1/5NH 3,and it was presumed to be formed by the combination of NH 3,C2H2 and [Cu]-acetylene π-complex,which was an intermediate in the dimerization reaction.The addition of hydrochloric acid into the catalyst can reduce the formation of precipitate,whereas excessive H+ is unfavorable to the dimerization reaction of acetylene.To balance between high acetylene conversion and low loss rate of CuCl,the optimum mass percentage of HCl in the added hydrochloric acid was determined.The result showed the optimum mass percentage of HCl decreased from 5.0% to 3.2% when the space velocity of acetylene was from 140 h-1 to 360 h-1.The result in this work also indicated the pH of the Nieuwland catalyst should be kept in the range of 5.80-5.97 during the reaction process,which was good for both catalyst life and acetylene conversion.Jianguo Liu Yizan Zuo Minghan Han Zhanwen Wang Dezheng Wang 2012Journal of Natural Gas Chemistry2012,21,5:8
2Effect of solvent on catalytic performance of anhydrous catalyst in acetylene dimerization to monovinylacetylene显示文摘The production of monovinylacetylene (MVA) through Cu(Ⅰ)-catalyzed acetylene dimerization reaction was performed in different reaction media. Based on the analyses of crystals precipitated from the catalyst solution and UV-Vis spectra of the catalysts, the reaction mechanism and solvent dependence were studied. The highest yield of MVA can be obtained when dimethylformamide is used as solvent because of its strong coordination ability to Cu(Ⅰ). The activation of C≡C bond is presumed to be improved when the catalytic metal ion is coordinated by a solvent with less steric hindrance and electron-rich coordination atom. 3The optimized preparation of HA/L-TiO2/D-TiO2 composite coating on porous titanium and its effect on the behavior osteoblasts显示文摘Various surface bioactivation technology has been confirmed to improve the osteogenic ability of porous titanium(pTi)implants effectively.In this study,a three-layered composite coating,i.e.outer layer of hydroxyapatite(HA),middle layer of loose titanium dioxide(L-TiO2)and inner layer of dense TiO2(D-TiO2),was fabricated on pTi by a combined processing procedure of pickling,alkali heat(AH),anodic oxidation(AO),electrochemical deposition(ED)and hydrothermal treatment(HT).After soaking in simulated body fluid for 48 h,the surface of the AHAOEDHT-treated pTi was completely covered by a homogeneous apatite layer.Using MC3T3-E1 pro-osteoblasts as cell model,the cell culture revealed that both the pTi without surface treatment and the AHAOEDHT sample could support the attachment,growth and proliferation of the cells.Compared to the pTi sample,the AHAOEDHT one induced higher expressions of osteogenesis-related genes in the cells,including alkaline phosphatase,Type I collagen,osteopontin,osteoclast inhibitor,osteocalcin and zinc finger structure transcription factor.As thus,besides the good corrosion resistance,the HA/L-TiO2/D-TiO2-coated pTi had good osteogenic activity,showing good potential in practical application for bone defect repair.Xi Fu Xingyu Zhou Pin Liu Hewei Chen Zhanwen Xiao Bo Yuan Xiao Yang Xiangdong Zhu Kai Zhang Xingdong Zhang 2020Regenerative Biomaterials2020,7,5:5
4Simulation and Verification of Machining Deformation for Composite Materials显示文摘Prepreg properties including cure kinetics, cure shrinkage, and coefficient of thermal expansion were analyzed. A simulation method based on 'element birth and death' method of Finite element analysis(FEA) was presented to simulate the cutting process and predict the machining deformation for composite laminates and stiffened panels. The comparisons between the simulation results and experimental data showed good agreement. It is found that residual stresses are the main source of machining deformation for composites and machining deformation is expected to happen only if there are stress gradients along the machining direction. There is no machining deformation for composite laminates due to its uniform stresses distribution in plane, while machining deformation can be observed obviously for T-shape stiffened composite panels. 5Investigation of spherical and concentric mechanism of compound droplets显示文摘Polymer shells with high sphericity and uniform wall thickness are always needed in the inertial confined fusion(ICF)experiments.Driven by the need to control the shape of water-in-oil(W1/O)compound droplets,the effects of the density matching level,the interfacial tension and the rotation speed of the continuing fluid field on the sphericity and wall thickness uniformity of the resulting polymer shells were investigated and the spherical and concentric mechanisms were also discussed.The centering of W1/O compound droplets,the location and movement of W1/O compound droplets in the external phase(W2)were significantly affected by the density matching level of the key stage and the rotation speed of the continuing fluid field.Therefore,by optimizing the density matching level and rotation speed,the batch yield of polystyrene(PS)shells with high sphericity and uniform wall thickness increased.Moreover,the sphericity also increased by raising the oil/water(O/W2)interfacial tension,which drove a droplet to be spherical.The experimental results show that the spherical driving force is from the interfacial tension affected by the two relative phases,while the concentric driving force,as a resultant force,is not only affected by the three phases,but also by the continuing fluid field.The understanding of spherical and concentric mechanism can provide some guidance for preparing polymer shells with high sphericity and uniform wall thickness.Meifang Liu Lin Su Jie Li Sufen Chen Yiyang Liu Jing Li Bo Li Yongping Chen Zhanwen Zhang 2016Matter and Radiation at Extremes2016,1,4:2
6Simulation of a low energy beam transport line显示文摘A 2.45 GHz electron cyclotron resonance intense proton source and a low energy beam transport line with dual-Glaser lens were designed and fabricated by Institute of Modern Physics for a compact pulsed hadron source at Tsinghua. The intense proton beams extracted from the ion source are transported through the transport line to match the downstream radio frequency quadrupole accelerator. Particle-in-cell code BEAMPATH was used to carry out the beam transport simulations and optimize the magnetic field structures of the transport line. Emittance growth due to space charge and spherical aberrations of the Glaser lens were studied in both theory and simulation. The results show that narrow beam has smaller aberrations and better beam quality through the transport line. 10Diagnostic efficacy of whole-body diffusion-weighted imaging in the detection of tumour recurrence and metastasis by comparison with 18F-2-fluoro-2-deoxy-D-glucose positron emission tomography or computed tomography in patients with gastrointestinal cancer显示文摘Objective:The primary aim of this study was to assess the efficacy of whole-body diffusion-weighted imaging(WB-DWI)in detecting tumour recurrence and metastasis of gastrointestinal cancers by comparison with 18F-2-fluoro-2-deoxy-Dglucose positron emission tomography or computed tomography(18F-FDG-PET/CT).A secondary aim was to evaluate the change of apparent diffusion coefficient(ADC)value between metastases and normal tissues.Methods:Twenty-eight previously confirmed gastrointestinal cancer patients with suspected tumour recurrence or metastasis were recruited.WB-DWI and PET/CT images were evaluated by two radiologists and a nuclear medicine physician.Agreement between WB-DWI and PET/CT for detective efficacy was compared using kappa statistics.Additionally,diagnostic accuracy,sensitivity,specificity,negative predictive value(NPV),and positive predictive value(PPV)were also statistically analysed.ADC values between metastatic and normal tissues were compared.Results:There was no statistically significant difference(P>0.05)in the overall diagnostic performances of PET/CT(accuracy 98.9%;sensitivity 95.2%;specificity 99.8%;PPV 98.9%;NPV 98.9%)and WB-DWI(accuracy 95.9%;sensitivity 81.7%;specificity 99.1%;PPV 95.0%;NPV 96.1%).WB-DWI showed agreement with PET/CT(j=0.877)for detecting recurrence and distant metastases.A statistically significant difference in ADC value was observed between tissues of normal healthy volunteers and metastases in lymph nodes,liver and bones(P<0.05).Conclusions:WB-DWI is reliable in detecting tumour recurrence and metastasis of colorectal cancer and offers the same diagnostic performance as 18F-PET/CT without ionizing radiation.The quantitative value of ADC provides extra information to determine cancer metastasis.Jiaying Gong Wuteng Cao Zhanwen Zhang Yanhong Deng Liang Kang Pan Zhu Zhengjun Liu Zhiyang Zhou 2015Gastroenterology Report2015,3,2:1

12Progress and challenges in the fabrication of DPS shells for ICF显示文摘To improve the quality of deuterated polystyrene(DPS)shells,the synthesis and purification of DPS as well as the fabrication of DPS shells are investigated.The molecular weight and molecular weight distribution,measured by GPC-MALLS,are about 350 kg mol^(-1) and less than 2.0,respectively.The results of TG and GC-MS indicate that the residual solvent is almost completely removed.DPS shells with;300 mm–2500 mmdiameter and;10 mm–100mmwall thickness are successfully prepared by a microfluidic device.The monodispersity of the diameter ismuchbetter than that of the wall thickness in a batch ofDPSshells.The vacuoles can be suppressed by both reducing hydrophilic residues in DPS and adding some salts into the outer water phase(W2).The defects appearing during the drying process decrease by heat treatment,ethanol exchange,and lowered drying temperature.The results presented in this work not only provide guidelines for the preparation of DPS shells of better quality,but also indicate challenges for the future.Meifang Liu Yawen Huang Sufen Chen Dawei Pan Miao Chen Qiaomei Chu Yiyang Liu Qiang Yin Zhanwen Zhang 2019Matter and Radiation at Extremes2019,4,1:1
