1Non-uniform sediment incipient velocity显示文摘Based on the mechanism of non-uniform sediment incipient motion, the dragging force and uplift force coefficient expressions are put forward for the non-uniform bed material exposure and close alignment state. The incipient velocity formula of the non-uniform sediment is then established. It is shown that the formula structure is reasonable, and fine particles of the non-uniform sediment are more difficult to set into motion than the same sized uniform particles, whereas coarser particles are easier to set into motion than their uniform equivalents. 2Bottom water temperature measurements in the South China Sea,eastern Indian Ocean and western Pacific Ocean显示文摘文章报道了一批新的海底底水温度(BWT)数据,其中南海(SCS)158个站位、东印度洋(EIO)30个站位及西太平洋(WPO)37个站位。基于这批新的BWT数据,获得南海和西太平洋海域底水温度与水深经验关系,可为地球物理和物理海洋提供准确、可靠的海底温度边界。这将有助于海底油气资源调查与评估。同时,这批实测数据表明:1)水深超过3500m的海域,其底水温度在南海约为2.47℃,比东印度洋(~1.34℃)和西太平洋(~1.60℃)稍微偏高。这与大洋传送带模式所预测的情况比较吻合。该模式认为:低温高盐的海水,从北大西洋格陵兰岛和冰岛附近海域下沉到深层,然后向南流动,再与南极洲周围海域的低温高盐海水一同向北进入印度洋和太平洋。而南海是一个相对比较封闭的热带边缘海,其内部海水与印度洋和菲律宾海交换有限,导致海水温度整体高于印度洋和太平洋。2)台西南盆地水深在2700~3000m的部分站位,其底水温高达约3.00℃,明显高于其周边同水深海域底水温度(平均值约为2.33℃)。这可能是台西南盆地海底水热活动导致的结果。3)在东印度洋和西太平洋水深超过4800m海域,底水温度随着水压增大稍有升高,其升高率分别为10.6mK·MPa^(-1)和12.0mK·MPa^(-1)。这与理论估算的深层底水绝热压力温度梯度范围较为吻合。这也意味着东印度洋和西太平洋深层底水,主要由绝热自压作用导致其温度随着深度的增大而升高。YANG Xiaoqiu SHI Xiaobin ZHAO Junfeng YU Chuanhai GAO Hongfang CHEN Aihua LU Yuanzheng CEN Xianrong LIN Weiren ZENG Xin XU Hehua REN Ziqiang ZHOU Shengqi XU Ziying SUN Jinlong KAMIYA Nana LIN Jian 2018热带海洋学报2018,37,5:8
3Density Functional Theory for Electrocatalysis显示文摘It is a considerably promising strategy to produce fuels and high-value chemicals through an electrochemical conversion process in the green and sustainable energy systems.Catalysts for electrocatalytic reactions,including hydrogen evolution reaction(HER),oxygen evolution reaction(OER),oxygen reduction reaction(ORR),nitrogen reduction reaction(NRR),carbon dioxide reduction reaction(CO_(2)RR),play a significant role in the advanced energy conversion technologies,such as water splitting devices,fuel cells,and rechargeable metal-air batteries.Developing low-cost and highly efficient electrocatalysts is closely related to establishing the composition-structure-activity relationships and fundamental understanding of catalytic mechanisms.Density functional theory(DFT)is emerging as an important computational tool that can provide insights into the relationship between the electrochemical performances and physical/chemical properties of catalysts.This article presents a review on the progress of the DFT,and the computational simulations,within the framework of DFT,for the electrocatalytic processes,as well as the computational designs and virtual screenings of new electrocatalysts.Some useful descriptors and analysis tools for evaluating the electrocatalytic performances are highlighted,including formation energies,d-band model,scaling relation,egorbital occupation,and free energies of adsorption.Furthermore,the remaining questions and perspectives for the development of DFT for electrocatalysis are also proposed.Xiaobin Liao Ruihu Lu Lixue Xia Qian Liu Huan Wang Kristin Zhao Zhaoyang Wang Yan Zhao 2022Energy & Environmental Materials2022,5,1:2
4Antioxidative and hepatoprotective activities of a novel polysaccharide (LSAP) from Lepista sordida mycelia显示文摘A novel alkali-soluble polysaccharide from Lepista sordida(LSAP)mycelia with antioxidative and hepatoprotective activities was characterized.The weight-average molecular weight and number-average molecular weight of LSAP were 1.442×10^(3) and 6.05×10^(2) kDa,respectively.LSAP was consisted of glucose(57.9%),xylose(31.8%),and small amounts of rhamnose,arabinose,galactose,glucuronic acid,and galacturonic acid(1.2%–3.1%).The FT-IR and 2D NMR confi rmed that LSAP was composed of Xylp,Araf,4-O-Me-α-D-GlcpA,(1→4)-linkedβ-D-Glcp,and(1→4)-α-D-GalA,andβ-glycosidic linkages between these sugar units.LSAP displayed notable effects on 1,1-dephenyl-2-picryhydrazyl(DPPH)radical scavenging,hydrogen peroxide scavenging,lipid peroxidation inhibitory ability,reducing power and Fe^(2+)chelating property.These biological effects were further verifi ed by suppressing CCl_(4)-induced oxidative liver damage in mice at doses of 100 and 200 mg/kg.Administration of LSAP in mice prior to CCl_(4) signifi cantly prevented the CCl_(4)-induced elevation in serum alanine aminotransferase,aspartate aminotransferase,and hepatic malondialdehyde.Mice treated with LSAP demonstrated to increase activities in superoxide dismutase(SOD)and glutathione peroxidase(GSH-Px)in the liver.We also found out that LSAP prevented CCl_(4)-induced oxidative liver histological alteration.LSAP may exert hepatoprotective effects against CCl_(4)-induced damage through antioxidant mechanisms in model mice.Yingyin Xu Yuanhui Li Yuxiao Lu Xiaobin Feng Guoting Tian Qinghong Liu 2021Food Science and Human Wellness2021,10,4:2
5Coordination environments tune the activity of oxygen catalysis on single atom catalysts:A computational study显示文摘Designing highly efficient bifunctional electrocatalysts for oxygen reduction and evolution reaction(ORR/OER)is extremely important for developing regenerative fuel cells and metal-air batteries.Single-atom catalysts(SACs)have gained considerable attention in recent years because of their maximum atom utilization efficiency and tunable coordination environments.Herein,through density functional theory(DFT)calculations,we systematically explored the ORR/OER performances of nitrogencoordinated transition metal carbon materials(TM-N_(x)-C(TM=Mn,Fe,Co,Ni,Cu,Pd,and Pt;x=3,4))through tailoring the coordination environment.Our results demonstrate that compared to conventional tetra-coordinated(TM-N_(4)-C)catalysts,the asymmetric tri-coordinated(TM-N_(3)-C)catalysts exhibit stronger adsorption capacity of catalytic intermediates.Among them,Ni-N_(3)-C possesses optimal adsorption energy and the lowest overpotential of 0.29 and 0.28 V for ORR and OER,respectively,making it a highly efficient bifunctional catalyst for oxygen catalysis.Furthermore,we find this enhanced effect stems from the additional orbital interaction between newly uncoordinated d-orbitals and p-orbitals of oxygenated species,which is evidently testified via the change of d-band center and integral crystal orbital Hamilton population(ICOHP).This work not only provides a potential bifunctional oxygen catalyst,but also enriches the knowledge of coordination engineering for tailoring the activity of SACs,which may pave the way to design and discover more promising bifunctional electrocatalysts for oxygen catalysis.Gaofan Xiao Ruihu Lu Jianfeng Liu Xiaobin Liao Zhaoyang Wang Yan Zhao 2022Nano Research2022,15,4:1

7QNE1 is a key flowering regulator determining the length of the vegetative period in soybean cultivars显示文摘The soybean E1 gene is a major regulator that plays an important role in flowering time and maturity.However,it remains unclear how cultivars carrying the dominant E1 allele adapt to the higher latitudinal areas of northern China.We mapped the novel quantitative trait locus QNE1(QTL near E1) for flowering time to the region proximal to E1 on chromosome 6 in two mapping populations.Positional cloning revealed Glyma.06G204300,encoding a TCP-type transcription factor,as a strong candidate gene for QNE1.Association analysis further confirmed that functional single nucleotide polymorphisms(SNPs) at nucleotides 686 and 1,063 in the coding region of Glyma.06G204300 were significantly associated with flowering time.The protein encoded by the candidate gene is localized primarily to the nucleus.Furthermore,soybean and Brassica napus plants overexpressing Glyma.06G204300 exhibited early flowering.We conclude that despite their similar effects on flowering time,QNE1 and E4 may control flowering time through different regulatory mechanisms,based on expression studies and weighted gene co-expression network analysis of flowering time-related genes.Deciphering the molecular basis of QNE1 control of flowering time enriches our knowledge of flowering gene networks in soybean and will facilitate breeding soybean cultivars with broader latitudinal adaptation.Zhengjun Xia Hong Zhai Yanfeng Zhang Yaying Wang Lu Wang Kun Xu Hongyan Wu Jinglong Zhu Shuang Jiao Zhao Wan Xiaobin Zhu Yi Gao Yingxiang Liu Rong Fan Shihao Wu Xin Chen Jinyu Liu Jiayin Yang Qijian Song Zhixi Tian 2022Science China(Life Sciences)2022,65,12:1
