| 1 | Multiple-Sized Amphiphilic Janus Gold Nanoparticles by Ligand Exchange at Toluene/Water Interface显示文摘Amphiphilic Janus gold nanoparticles(GNPs) are prospected to encapsulate drug molecules in cancer therapy and to serve as heterogeneous catalysts at oil/water interfaces, where Janus GNPs with different sizes are required. In this work, multiple-sized precursor GNPs were synthesized by seeded growth method protected with tris(hydroxymethyl)phosphine oxide(THPO) ligand molecule, and a ligand exchange reaction with triphenylphosphine(PPh3) at the toluene/water interface was employed to prepare amphiphilic Janus GNPs. UV-vis and transmission electron microscopy(TEM) analyses indicate that the as-prepared GNPs are nanocrystals with average diameters of 2.3 nm, 9.5 nm, 16.1 nm and 18.8 nm, respectively. Contact angle, Raman and X-ray photonic spectroscopy(XPS) analyses reveal that the selfassembled GNP films exhibit hydrophilic on one side and hydrophobic on another, owing to the adsorption of hydrophilic ligands(THPO and THP) and a similar amount of hydrophobic ligands(PPh3 and PPh3O).Angle-resolved XPS analysis further demonstrates that the individual GNPs actually possess hydrophilic and hydrophobic compartments on the surface, which regularly packed by supramolecular interactions at toluene/water interface to form the self-assembled GNP films. | Kun Luo Yongdong Xiang Haiming Wang Li Xiang Zhihong Luo | 2016 | Journal of Materials Science & Technology2016,32,8: | 1 |

| 7 | Interaction of Hepatitis B Virus X Protein with the Pregnane X Receptor Enhances the Synergistic Effects of Aflatoxin B1 and Hepatitis B Virus on Promoting Hepatocarcinogenesis显示文摘Background and Aims:Hepatitis B virus(HBV)infection has been found to increase hepatocellular sensitivity to carcinogenic xenobiotics,by unknown mechanisms,in the generation of hepatocellular carcinoma.The pregnane X receptor(PXR)is a key regulator of the body’s defense against xenobiotics,including xenobiotic carcinogens and clinical drugs.In this study,we aimed to investigate the molecular mechanisms of HBV X protein(HBx)-PXR signaling in the synergistic effects of chemical carcinogens in HBV-associated hepatocarcinogenesis.Methods:The expression profile of PXR-cytochrome p4503A4(CYP3A4)signaling was determined by PCR,western blotting,and tissue microarray.Cell viability and aflatoxin B1(AFB1)cytotoxicity were measured using the cell counting kit-8 assay.Target gene expression was evaluated using transient transfection and real time-PCR.The genotoxicity of AFB1 was assessed in newborn mice with a single dose of AFB1.Results:HBx enhanced the hepatotoxicity of AFB1 by activating CYP3A4 and reducing glutathione Stransferase Mu 1(GSTM1)in cell lines.Activation of PXR by pregnenolone 16α-carbonitrile increased AFB1-induced liver tumor incidence by up-regulating oncogenic KRAS to enhance interleukin(IL)-11:IL-11 receptor subunit alpha-1(IL11RA-1)-mediated inflammation in an HBx transgenic model.Conclusions:Our finding regarding AFB1 toxicity enhancement by an HBx-PXR-CYP3A4/GSTM1-KRASIL11:IL11RA signaling axis provides a rational explanation for the synergistic effects of chemical carcinogens in HBV infection-associated hepatocarcinogenesis. | Yongdong Niu Shaohua Fan Qin Luo Liming Chen Danmei Huang Wenjun Chang Wenxin Qin Ganggang Shi | 2021 | Journal of Clinical and Translational Hepatology2021,9,4: | 0 |
| 8 | Effect of CSH Crystal Nucleus on Steam-Free Cured Fly Ash Precast Concrete Components显示文摘The measures of steam curing and early-strengthening agents to promote the precast components to reach the target strength quickly can bring different degrees of damage to the concrete.Based on this,the new nanomaterial CSH-the hydration product of cement effectively solves these measures’disadvantages,such as excessive energy consumption,thermal stress damage,and the introduction of external ions.In this paper,the effect of CSH on the early strength of precast fly ash concrete components was investigated in terms of setting time,workability,and mechanical properties and analyzed at the microscopic level using hydration temperature,XRD,and SEM.The results showed that under the same workability,CSH could significantly reduce the amount of admixture,shorten the final setting time,almost not affect the initial setting time,and accelerate the hydration of cement.At the optimum dose of 5%,the mechanical properties of the specimens were improved by more than 98%within 12 h of hydration,resulting in an earlier release time of 12 h and no risk of strength inversion later.The results of this paper give theoretical support to the behavior of precast components under steam-free curing. | Ruyi Luo Yanyan Hu Tingshu He Xiaodong Ma Yongdong Xu | 2023 | Journal of Renewable Materials2023,11,9: | 0 |
