| 2 | Truth Discovery with Memory Network显示文摘Truth discovery aims to resolve conflicts among multiple sources and find the truth. Conventional methods for truth discovery mainly investigate the mutual effect between the reliability of sources and the credibility of statements. These methods use real numbers, which have a lower representation capability than vectors to represent the reliability. In addition, neural networks have not been used for truth discovery. In this work, we propose memory-network-based models to address truth discovery. Our proposed models use feedforward and feedback memory networks to learn the representation of the credibility of statements. Specifically, our models adopt a memory mechanism to learn the reliability of sources for truth prediction. The proposed models use categorical and continuous data during model learning by automatically assigning different weights to the loss function on the basis of their own effects. | 3 | Highly dispersed Co-Mo sulfide nanoparticles on reduced graphene oxide for lithium and sodium ion storage显示文摘A novel hybrid,highly dispersed spinel Co-Mo sulfide nanoparticles on reduced graphene oxide(Co3S4/CoMo2S4@rGO),is reported as anode for lithium and sodium ion storage.The hybrid is synthesized by one-step hydrothermal method but exhibits excellent lithium and sodium storage performances.The as-synthesized Co3S4/CoMo2S4@rGO presents reversible capacity of 595.4 mA·h·g^−1 and 408.8 mA·h·g^−1 after 100 cycles at a current density of 0.2 A·g^−1 for lithium and sodium ion storages,respectively.Such superior performances are attributed to the unique composition and structure of Co3S4/CoMo2S4@rGO.The rGO provides a good electronically conductive network and ensures the formation of spinel Co3S4/CoMo2S4 nanoparticles,the Co3S4/CoMo2S4 nanoparticles provide large reaction surface for lithium and sodium intercalation/deintercalation,and the spinel structure allows fast lithium and sodium ion diffusion in three dimensions. | Yuqing Liao Chun Wu Yaotang Zhong Min Chen Luyang Cai Huirong Wang Xiang Liu Guozhong Cao Weishan Li | 2020 | Nano Research2020,13,1: | 4 |

| 5 | 3D printing of hydroxyapatite/tricalcium phosphate scaffold with hierarchical porous structure for bone regeneration显示文摘Three-dimensional(3D)-printed scaffolds have attracted considerable attention in recent years as they provide a suitable environment for bone cell tissue regeneration and can be customized in shape.Among many other challenges,the material composition and geometric structure have major impacts on the performance of scaffolds.Hydroxyapatite and tricalcium phosphate(HA/TCP),as the major constituents of natural bone and teeth,possess attractive biological properties and are widely used in bone scaffold fabrication.Many fabrication methods have been investigated in attempts to achieve HA/TCP scaffolds with microporous structure enabling cell growth and nutrient transport.However,current 3D printing methods can only achieve the fabrication of HA/TCP scaffolds with certain range of microporous structure.To overcome this challenge,we developed a slurry-based microscale mask image projection stereolithography,allowing us to form a HA/TCP-based photocurable suspension with complex geometry including biomimetic features and hierarchical porosity.Here,the curing performance and physical properties of the HA/TCP suspension were investigated,and a circular movement process for the fabrication of highly viscous HA/TCP suspension was developed.Based on these investigations,the scaffold composition was optimized.We determined that a 30 wt%HA/TCP scaffold with biomimetic hierarchical structure exhibited superior mechanical properties and porosity.Cell proliferation was investigated in vitro,and the surgery was conducted in a nude mouse in vivo model of long bone with cranial neural crest cells and bone marrow mesenchymal stem cells.The results showed our 3D-printed HA/TCP scaffold with biomimetic hierarchical structure is biocompatible and has sufficient mechanical strength for surgery. | Xiangjia Li Yuan Yuan Luyang Liu Yuen‑Shan Leung Yiyu Chen Yuxing Guo Yang Chai Yong Chen | 2020 | Bio-Design and Manufacturing2020,3,1: | 3 |

| 9 | Vertical distribution characteristics of soil mercury and its formation mechanism in permafrost regions:A case study of the Qinghai-Tibetan Plateau显示文摘Continuing permafrost degradation is increasing the risk of mercury(Hg) exposure in the permafrost regions on the Qinghai-Tibetan Plateau(QTP),but related studies are still limited,especially the ones on the detailed Hg migration processes in permafrost.The vertical distribution characteristics of soil Hg were investigated in three ecosystems in the Beiluhe area on the QTP,and its influencing factors and formation mechanism were investigated.The results indicate that the total soil mercury(THg)concentration in the Beiluhe area remains at an extremely low level(6.33±2.45 ng/g).In the vertical profile,the THg concentration of the shallow soil layer(0-50 cm)(5.96±2.22 ng/g)is significantly lower than that of the deep layer(50-400 cm)(7.44±2.71 ng/g)(p<0.05).Within the upper 50 cm,the THg concentration decreases with soil depth,and the peak THg concentration occurs at 100-300 cm on the entire profile.Although the THg concentration is slightly affected by the organic matter in the shallow soil layer,in general,the soil parent material is the dominant factor affecting the THg concentration.Intense weathering results in a low THg concentration in the shallow soil layer because the soil Hg is carried downward with the soil moisture.To a certain depth,the impermeable frozen soil layer intercepts the flow of the soil Hg,and it forms a Hg enrichment layer.This paper presents the distinctive pattern of the soil Hg distribution in the permafrost regions of the QTP. | Yali Liu Junfeng Wang Junming Guo Luyang Wang Qingbai Wu | 2022 | Journal of Environmental Sciences2022,34,3: | 1 |

| 15 | Intrauterine hyperglycemia impairs endometrial receptivity via up-regulating SGK1 in diabetes显示文摘Diabetes is a complex metabolic disorder which can adversely affect reproductive function. SGK1 is found to be up-regulated in multiple tissues of diabetic patients. However, the effects of diabetes on endometrial SGK1 expression and endometrial receptivity remain unknown. In this study, we established a streptozotocin-induced diabetic mouse model and observed reduced implantation sites, retarded development of pinopodes, increased SGK1, and aberrant expression of LIF and MUC1 in the endometrial epithelium. We injected the uterine lumen of normal mice with high-glucose solution and cultured endometrial cells in high-glucose medium to mimic intrauterine hyperglycemia. Both studies provided compelling evidence that hyperglycemia could lead to diminished embryo implantation and dysregulated SGK1, LIF and MUC1. Additionally, through over-expression of SGK1 in vivo and in vitro, we found that enhanced SGK1 also decreased LIF expression, increased MUC1 expression, and attenuated embryo implantation rate. We further identified that hyperglycemia-activated SMAD2/3 might be responsible for the enhancement of SGK1 and verified directly the interaction between SMAD3 and corresponding SMAD binding elements within SGK1 promoter. Taken together, our study confirmed the association between diabetes-related hyperglycemia and endometrial receptivity defects.
