13Study of the νi_(13/2)^(-1) band in ^(189)Pt显示文摘High-spin levels of 189Pt have been studied with the in-beam γ-spectroscopy method via the 176Yb(18O,5n) reaction at the beam energies of 88 and 95 MeV. The previously known νi-131/2 band has been confirmed, and its unfavored signature branch extended up to the 13/2+ state. 16Dynamic nuclear self-polarization of Ⅲ–Ⅴsemiconductors显示文摘Ⅲ–Ⅴ semiconductors exhibit dynamic nuclear self-polarization(DYNASP) owing to the contact hyperfine interaction(HFI) between optically excited conduction electrons and lattice nuclei. In the self-polarization process at a low temperature, electron spin state and the nuclear polarization(magnetization) exchange a positive feedback, increasing energy splitting of the conduction electron states, thereby a large nuclear polarization. This phenomenon was theoretically predicted previously for conduction electrons excited linearly and elliptically polarized light. The polarization of the conduction electrons was represented by a parameter α in a formula for nuclear polarization(Eq.(9) in Ref. [1]); however, the effect of external magnetic fields on the nuclear polarization was not considered. Therefore, this study introduces this effect by further extending the previous studies. Herein, α′represents the combination of the effects of elliptically polarized electrons and an external magnetic field, which is used in the equations presented in previous studies. When α′ = 0, a large nuclear polarization is obtained below critical temperature T_c, but no polarization occurs above T_c. When α′ > 0, the nuclear polarization is enhanced above T_c. Below T_c, the nuclear polarization follows a hysteresis curve when α′ is partially manipulated by adjusting the degree of the polarization of the exciting laser.M. Koizumi J. Goto S. 20Signature Inversion in Oblate πh_(9/2)vi_(13/2) Band of ^(188)Tl显示文摘High-spin Level structure of 188T1 has been studied via the 157Gd(35Cl, 4n) fusion-evaporation reaction at beam energy of 170 MeV. The 35Cl beam was provided by the JAERI tandem accelerator and impinged on an enriched 157Gd metallic foil of 2. 0 mg/cm2 thickness with a 6. 5 mg/cm2 Pb backing.γ-γ-t and X-γ-t measurements were performed by aγ-ray detector array consisting of 13 BGO(AC) HPGe's and 3 LOAX detectors.
