1Functions and mechanisms of the CBL-CIPK signaling system in plant response to abiotic stress显示文摘To cope with environmental stimuli, plants have evolved precise regulatory mechanisms to perceive, transduce and respond to abiotic stresses that can negatively affect growth and development. The CBL-CIPK signaling system is a newly emerging plant-specific and Ca2+-dependent network mediating abiotic stress tolerance. CBLs may sense a Ca2+ signature triggered by abiotic stresses, and have specific interactions with novel CIPK-type kinases after binding Ca2+. The CBL/CIPK complexes may post-translationally phosphory-late downstream target proteins to regulate abiotic stress tolerance in a cell or tissue-specific manner. In some cases transcription factors are induced to activate stress-responsive genes that control adaptation reactions. The CBL-CIPK signaling system exhibits specificity, diversity and complexity. Meanwhile, cross talk also exists in the CBL-CIPK signaling. To date, significant progress has been made in the role of the CBL-CIPK signaling system in responding to salt, low K+ and to high pH, which will provide a fast and efficient method of molecular design breeding combined with the CBL/CIPK engineering of crop plants, for enhanced tolerance to abiotic stresses. 2Mining the key regulatory genes of chicken inosine 5'-monophosphate metabolism based on time series microarray data显示文摘IMP(inosine 5'-monophosphate) is a compound that enhances the flavor of poultry meat.IMP has become a new breeding trait to improve poultry meat quality.We tried to identify several potential regulatory genes,and construct their predicted regulatory relationships.Time series gene expression profiles of thigh muscle tissues of Rugao chicken,a famous indigenous breed in China,were performed for analysis of genes that are co-expressed or correlated with the concentration of IMP.We found 15 crucial co-expression genes,which are Hspa2,Pten,Gabpa,Bpi,Mkl1,Srf,Cd34,Hspa4,Etv6,Bmpr2,Gde1,Igfbp5,Cd28,Pecam1 and Gja1,that may directly or indirectly regulate IMP metabolism.Eventually,we computed the correlation coefficient between 19 IMP Genes and 15 CGs(15co-expression genes),and we identified and constructed a predicted regulation network.In conclusion,variation of IMP concentration was primarily connected with the muscle development process.During this process,15 CGs were identified that may have significant influence on IMP metabolism.In particular,Bmpr2,Pten and co-expression genes correlated with Entpd8 might play important roles in regulating IMP de novo synthesis,decomposition and salvage synthesis.Teng Ma Lu Xu Hongzhi Wang Jing Chen Lu Liu Guobin Chang Guohong Chen 2015Journal of Animal Science and Biotechnology2015,6,3:6
3Pulping performance of transgenic poplar with depressed Caffeoyl-CoA O-methyltransferase显示文摘This paper evaluated pulping performance of 3-year-old field-grown transgenic poplar (Populus tremula × Populus alba). The transgenic poplar with anti-sense CCoAOMT had an about 13% decreased lignin content, in which a slight increment was found in S/G ratio. Chemical analysis showed that the transgenic poplar had significantly less benezene-ethanol extractive than that of control wood, but no significant differences were found in contents of ash, cold water extractive, hot water extractive, 1% NaOH extractive, holocellulose, pentosans and cellulose. Fiber assay demonstrated that down-regulation of CCoAOMT expression improved the fiber quality in transgenic poplar. 4Clinical applications of free medial tibial flap with posterior tibial artery for head and neck reconstruction after tumor resection显示文摘Tumor resection causes damage in the head and neck which creates problems in swallowing, chewing, articulation,and vision, all of which seriously affect patients' quality of life. In this work, we evaluated the application of a free medial tibial flap in reconstruction of head and neck defects after tumor resection. We discussed the anatomy,surgical technique, and the advantages and disadvantages of the flap. We found several benefits for the flap, such as,it is especially effective for the defects that require thin-layer epithelium to cover or the separated soft tissue defect;a two-team approach can be used because the donor site is far away from the head and neck; and the flap is easy to integrate because of the subcutaneous fat layer of the free medial tibial flap is thin and the flap is soft. 5Addition Al and/or Ti Induced Modifi cations of Microstructures, Mechanical Properties, and Corrosion Properties in CoCrFeNi High-Entropy Alloy Coatings显示文摘The purpose of this work is to study the influences of Al and/or Ti addition on the microstructures, mechanical properties and corrosion properties of CoCrFeNi-(Al, Ti) high entropy alloy(HEA) coatings. Three coatings, AlCoCrFeNi(Ⅰ), CoCrFeNiTi_(0.5)(Ⅱ) and AlCoCrFeNiTi_(0.5)(Ⅲ), were fabricated by laser cladding successfully. The AlCoCrFeNi(Ⅰ) coating exhibited a simple body-centered cubic(BCC) solid-solution structure, whereas the CoCrFeNiTi_(0.5)(Ⅱ) alloy exhibited a face-centered cubic(FCC) solid-solution and a small amount of Laves phase. The BCC phases in AlCoCrFeNiTi _(0.5)(Ⅲ) coating were characterized as Fe–Cr rich disordered BCC phases(A2) and Al-Ni–Ti-rich ordered BCC phases(L2_1) separately. The AlCoCrFeNiTi_(0.5)(Ⅲ) coating with dual-phase BCC structure showed the optimal performance of both mechanical and corrosion properties, which was superior to BCC-based AlCoCrFeNi(Ⅰ) and FCC-based CoCrFeNiTi_(0.5)(Ⅱ) coatings. Nanoindentation tests and quantitative investigations on the strengthening mechanisms of AlCoCrFeNiTi_(0.5)(Ⅲ) coating were conducted, suggesting that the precipitation strengthening is the dominant strengthening mechanism. 7Arsenic concentration in peripheral blood is correlated with efficacy of a Traditional Chinese Medicine regimen containing realgar for the treatment of myelodysplastic syndromes显示文摘OBJECTIVE:To explore the relationship between the efficacy of realgar for the treatment of myelodysplastic syndromes with multilineage dysplasia(MDS-MLD)and arsenic concentration in the peripheral blood of patients.METHODS:In this prospective study,a total of 50 MDS-MLD patients were treated with traditional Chinese drugs containing realgar for 3 months in Xiyuan Hospital from March 2018 to January 2019.Routine blood examination as well as liver and kidney function were monitored before and after treatment.The concentration of arsenic in the peripheral blood was measured using an atomic fluorescence spectrometer after treatment.The correlation between clinical effect and arsenic concentration was analyzed by Spearman’s method.RESULTS:The treatment response rate was 54%.Two patients(4%)achieved complete remission,50%(25 of 50)showed hematologic improvement,and 23 patients had stable disease(23%).No disease progression was observed.Arsenic concentration in the peripheral blood ranged from 14.60 to 85.96μg/L.Clinical efficacy was positively correlated with arsenic concentration(P<0.05).The incidence of mild adverse reactions was 16%.CONCLUSION:A relatively high concentration of arsenic in the peripheral blood may improve the clinical efficacy of realgar in MDS-MLD patients.WANG Dexiu XU Yonggang DU Yu WANG Hongzhi LI Liu HU Xiaomei YANG Xiupeng MA Rou ZHOU Qingbing 2021Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine2021,41,4:3

9A mathematical model for concept granular computing systems显示文摘Extent-intent and intent-extent operators are introduced between two complete lattices in this paper and a mathematical model for concept granular computing system is established. We proved that the set of all concepts in this system is a lattice with the greatest element and the least element. This framework includes formal concept lattices from formal contexts, L fuzzy concept lattices from L fuzzy formal contexts and three kinds of variable threshold concept lattices, i.e. the extension and the intension of a concept are a crisp set and a crisp set, a crisp set and a fuzzy set, a fuzzy set and a crisp set, respectively. 10Simultaneous determination of bisphenols, benzophenones and parabens in human urine by using UHPLC-TQMS显示文摘Bisphenols, benzophenones and parabens may alter one or more functions of endocrine system and consequently cause adverse health effects on human. A rapid and sensitive analytical method for the simultaneous determination of six bisphenols, five benzophenones and seven parabens in human urine by using ultra-high performance liquid chromatography coupled with triple quadrupole mass spectrometry was developed and applied for human urine sample analysis. The eighteen targeted compounds were separated within 11 min. Heated-electrospray ionization was operated with multiple reaction monitoring in negative-ion mode. The limit of detection ranged from 0.01 ng/mL to 0.5 ng/mL.Seven isotope-labeled internal standards were used in the quantitative analysis. After the method was validated for sensitivity, linearity, precision, accuracy and matrix effect, it was applied for the analysis of human urine samples to evaluate the profiles of human exposure. 11Correlation of diffusion tensor imaging and cognitive function in patients with leukoaraiosis显示文摘Conventional imaging technology does not measure white matter lesions of the brain or cognitive impairment.Diffusion tensor imaging is able to detect changes in the microstructure of white matter,and correlating vascular risk factors with cognitive dysfunction seems feasible using this technique.A total of 60 leukoaraiosis patients and 30 healthy elderly controls received diffusion tensor imaging examination to detect the average diffusion coefficient and fractional anisotropy of leukoaraiosis lesion and normal white matter.Leukoaraiosis severity positively correlated with average diffusion coefficient but negatively correlated with fraction anisotropy.Neuropsychology tests(mini-mental state examination) were related to average diffusion coefficient and fraction anisotropy of normal white matter in leukoaraiosis patients,especially in the anterior horn and centrum semiovale.The average diffusion coefficient and fraction anisotropy of leukoaraiosis displayed characteristic changes.Therefore,diffusion tensor imaging can detect the macrostructural changes in white matter with normal magnetic resonance imaging,and these changes are related to cognitive function.Application of diffusion tensor imaging techniques to analyze the correlation between vascular risk factors and cognitive dysfunction is feasible.Chuanqiang Qu Shougang Guo Hongzhi Guo Xiangshui Meng Chunjuan Wang Lin Ma Yan He 2010Neural Regeneration Research2010,5,15:2
12Fabrication and characterization of amorphous ITO/p-Si heterojunction solar cell显示文摘Amorphous indium-tin-oxide(a-ITO) film was deposited by radio-frequency(RF) magnetron sputtering at 180°C substrate temperature on the texturized p-Si wafer to fabricate a-ITO/p-Si heterojunction solar cell.The microstructural,optical and electrical properties of the a-ITO film were characterized by XRD,SEM,XPS,UV-VIS spectrophotometer,four-point probe and Hall effect measurement,respectively.The electrical properties of heterojunction were investigated by I-V measurement,which reveals that the heterojunction shows strong rectifying behavior under a dark condition.The ideality factor and the saturation current density of this diode are 2.26 and 1.58×10-4 A cm-2,respectively.And the value of IF/IR(IF and IR stand for forward and reverse currents,respectively) at 1 V is found to be as high as 21.5.For the a-ITO/p-Si heterojunction solar cell,the a-ITO thin film acts not only as an emitter layer,but also as an anti-reflected coating film.The conversion efficiency of the fabricated a-ITO/p-Si heterojunction cell is approximately 1.1%,under 100 mW cm-2 illumination(AM1.5 condition).And the open-circuit voltage(Voc),short-circuit current density(J SC),filll factor(FF) are 280 mV,9.83 mA cm 2 and 39.9%,respectively.Because the ITO film deposited at low temperature is amorphous,it can effectively reduce the interface states between ITO and p-Si.The barrier height and internal electric field,which is near the surface of p-Si,can effectively be enhanced.Thus we can see the great photovoltaic effect.HE Bo WANG HongZhi LI YaoGang MA ZhongQuan XU Jing ZHANG QingHong WANG ChunRui XING HuaiZhong ZHAO Lei WANG DunDong 2013Science China(Technological Sciences)2013,56,8:2
13Positioning taxonomic research for the future显示文摘Why do taxonomists matter? The work of taxonomists is often understated if not completely misunderstood. Without taxonomists, organisms cannot be accurately identified, neither can these organisms be given universally accepted names, and reliably positioned in the phylogenetic tree of life. 14Virus-induced silencing of a tobacco deoxyhypusine synthase gene显示文摘A cDNA fragment corresponding to deoxyhy-pusine synthase gene NbDHS was isolated and cloned into potato virus X (PVX) vector for functional analysis in Nico-tiana benthamiana by using virus-induced gene silencing (VIGS). Plants agroinfected with recombinant virus vector PVX-NbDHS exhibited an increase in leaf biomass, delay in natural leaf senescence and flowering time, and decrease in leaf chlorophyll content. Semi-quantitative RT-PCR and Northern analysis showed that the transcript level of DHS was significantly lower in PVX-NbDHS infected plants. At the same time, the expression for eIF-5A, the target proteins of DHS in N. benthamiana, was concomitantly suppressed by semi-quantitative RT-PCR and Western analysis. From the phenotypic feature of the infected plants and the reduced expression abundance of DHS and eIF-5A, we concluded that NbDHS plays important roles in plant growth, development and senescence.
