| 2 | Combination of acoustic radiation force impulse imaging, serological indexes and contrast-enhanced ultrasound for diagnosis of liver lesions显示文摘AIM To assess the value of combined acoustic radiation force impulse(ARFI) imaging, serological indexes and contrast-enhanced ultrasound(CEUS) in distinguishing between benign and malignant liver lesions. METHODS Patients with liver lesions treated at our hospital were included in this study. The lesions were divided into either a malignant tumor group or a benign tumor group according to pathological or radiological findings. ARFI quantitative detection, serological testing and CEUS quantitative detection were performed and compared. A comparative analysis of the measured indexes was performed between these groups. Receiver operating characteristic(ROC) curves were constructed to compare the diagnostic accuracy of ARFI imaging, serological indexes and CEUS, alone or in different combinations, in identifying benign and malignant liver lesions. RESULTS A total of 112 liver lesions in 43 patients were included, of which 78 were malignant and 34 were benign. Shear wave velocity(SWV) value, serum alpha-fetoprotein(AFP) content and enhancement rate were significantly higher in the malignant tumor group than in the benign tumor group(2.39 ± 1.20 m/s vs 1.50 ± 0.49 m/s, 18.02 ± 5.01 ng/m L vs 15.96 ± 4.33 ng/m L, 2.14 ± 0.21 d B/s vs 2.01 ± 0.31 d B/s; P < 0.05). The ROC curve analysis revealed that the areas under the curves(AUCs) of SWV value alone, AFP content alone, enhancement rate alone, SWV value + AFP content, SWV value + enhancement rate, AFP content + enhancement rate and SWV value + AFP content + enhancement rate were 85.1%, 72.1%, 74.5%, 88.3%, 90.4%, 82.0% and 92.3%, respectively. The AUC of SWV value + AFP content + enhancement rate was higher than those of SWV value + AFP content and SWV value + enhancement rate, and significantly higher than those of any single parameter or the combination of any two of parameters.CONCLUSION The combination of SWV, AFP and enhancement rate had better diagnostic performance in distinguishing between benign and malignant liver lesions than the use of any single parameter or the combination of any two of parameters. | 3 | Channel Measurement and Path Loss Modeling from 220 GHz to 330 GHz for 6G Wireless Communications显示文摘Terahertz(THz)communication has been envisioned as a key enabling technology for sixthgeneration(6G).In this paper,we present an extensive THz channel measurement campaign for 6G wireless communications from 220 GHz to 330 GHz.Furthermore,the path loss is analyzed and modeled by using two single-frequency path loss models and a multiplefrequencies path loss model.It is found that at most frequency points,the measured path loss is larger than that in the free space.But at around 310 GHz,the propagation attenuation is relatively weaker compared to that in the free space.Also,the frequency dependence of path loss is observed and the frequency exponent of the multiple-frequencies path loss model is 2.1.Moreover,the cellular performance of THz communication systems is investigated by using the obtained path loss model.Simulation results indicate that the current inter-site distance(ISD)for the indoor scenario is too small for THz communications.Furthermore,the tremendous capacity gain can be obtained by using THz bands compared to using microwave bands and millimeter wave bands.Generally,this work can give an insight into the design and optimization of THz communication systems for 6G. | Pan Tang Jianhua Zhang Haoyu Tian Zhaowei Chang Jun Men Yuxiang Zhang Lei Tian Liang Xia Qixing Wang Jingsuo He | 2021 | China Communications2021,18,5: | 7 |
| 4 | Liver reserve function assessment by acoustic radiation force impulse imaging显示文摘AIM: To evaluate the utility of liver reserve function by acoustic radiation force impulse(ARFI) imaging in patients with liver tumors. METHODS: Seventy-six patients with liver tumors were enrolled in this study. Serum biochemical indexes, such as aminotransferase(ALT), aspartate aminotransferase(AST), serum albumin(ALB), total bilirubin(T-Bil), and other indicators were observed. Liver stiffness(LS) was measured by ARFI imaging, measurements were repeated 10 times, and the average value of the results was taken as the final LS value. Indocyanine green(ICG) retention was performed, and ICG-K and ICG-R15 were recorded. Child-Pugh(CP) scores were carried out based on patient's preoperative biochemical tests and physical condition. Correlations among CP scores,ICG-R15, ICG-K and LS values were observed and analyzed using either the Pearson correlation coefficient or the Spearman rank correlation coefficient. KruskalWallis test was used to compare LS values of CP scores, and the receiver-operator characteristic(ROC) curve was used to analyze liver reserve function assessment accuracy. RESULTS: LS in the ICG-R15 10%-20% group was significantly higher than in the ICG-R15 < 10% group; and the difference was statistically significant(2.19 ± 0.27 vs 1.59 ± 0.32, P < 0.01). LS in the ICG-R15 > 20% group was significantly higher than in the ICG-R15 < 10% group; and the difference was statistically significant(2.92 ± 0.29 vs 1.59 ± 0.32, P < 0.01). The LS value in patients with CP class A was lower than in patients with CP class B(1.57 ± 0.34 vs 1.86 ± 0.27, P < 0.05), while the LS value in patients with CP class B was lower than in patients with CP class C(1.86 ± 0.27 vs 2.47 ± 0.33, P < 0.01). LS was positively correlated with ICG-R15(r = 0.617, P < 0.01) and CP score(r = 0.772, P < 0.01). Meanwhile, LS was negatively correlated with ICG-K(r =-0.673, P < 0.01). AST, ALT and T-Bil were positively correlated with LS, while ALB was negatively correlated with LS(P < 0.05). The ROC curve revealed that the when the LS value was 2.34 m/s, the Youden index was at its highest point, sensitivity was 69.2% and specificity was 92.1%. | 6 | Further understanding of an uncommon disease of combined small cell lung cancer: clinical features and prognostic factors of 114 cases显示文摘Objective: Combined small cell lung cancer(C-SCLC) is an uncommon subgroup of small cell lung cancer(SCLC) and few clinical data can be referred.Our study is to investigate the clinical features and prognostic factors of C-SCLC, as well as the role of multimodality treatment.Methods: Between January 2004 and December 2012, patients with histologically diagnosed C-SCLC were retrospectively analyzed.The survivals were evaluated with the Kaplan-Meier method.Univariate and multivariate analyses were used to evaluate potential prognostic factors.Results: One hundred and fourteen patients were enrolled, with a median age of 59(range: 20-79) years old.The most common combined component was squamous cell carcinoma(52.6%).Among these patients, the disease was stage Ⅰ, Ⅱ, Ⅲ and Ⅳ in 9.6%, 19.3%, 46.5% and 24.6% of the patients, respectively.Eighty patients(70.2%)received at least two of the three modalities containing chemotherapy, radiotherapy and surgery.The median follow-up was 32.5 months.The median time of overall survival(OS) was 26.2 months.On univariate analysis,smoking(P=0.029), Karnofsky performance score(KPS) <80(P=0.000), advanced TNM stage(P=0.000), no surgery(P=0.010), positive resection margin(P=0.000), positive lymph nodes ≥4(P=0.000), positive lymph node ratio >10%(P=0.000) and non-multimodality treatment(P=0.004) were associated with poor OS.Multivariate analysis confirmed that smoking, advanced TNM stage, positive resection margin and positive lymph nodes ratio>10% were poor prognostic features.Conclusions: C-SCLC has a relatively early stage and good prognosis, which may due to the underestimated diagnosis in non-surgical patients.Multimodality therapy is recommended, especially for limited disease.Smoking,advanced TNM stage, positive resection margin and positive lymph nodes ratio >10% are poor prognostic factors. | Yu Men Zhouguang Hui Jun Liang Qinfu Feng Dongfu Chen Hongxing Zhang Zefen Xiao Zongmei Zhou Weibo Yin Luhua Wang | 2016 | Chinese Journal of Cancer Research2016,28,5: | 2 |

| 14 | Residue behaviors and dietary risk of cyazofamid in turnip,onion and romaine lettuce assessed by a QuEChERS-LC-MS/MS methods显示文摘In this study, the dissipation, terminal residues and dietary risk of the cyazofamid residue in three globally consumed minor crops, turnip(Brassica rapa L.), onion(Allium cepa L.)and romaine lettuce(Lactuca sativa L.)were assessed by supervised field trials at 6 locations of China in 2020. A reliable QuEChERS-LC-MS/MS method was developed for simultaneous analysis of cyazofamid and its primary metabolite, 4-chloro-5-p-tolylimidazole-2-carbonitrile(CCIM). The average recoveries of cyazofamid and CCIM in turnip, onion and romaine lettuce were 79%–97% and 77%–99%, respectively. The half-lives of cyazofamid in these crops were 5.7–6.5, 5.3–8.7 and 5.8–6.5 days in turnip, onion and romaine lettuce, respectively, with the final cyazofamid residues at harvest all lower than limit of quantitation(LOQ, 0.01 mg/kg). The turnip roots, onion bulbs and romaine lettuce leaves grown in China under Good Agricultural Practices conditions and harvested 10, 14 and 5 days, respectively, after the cyazofamid SC(100 g/L)application, would be reasonably safe for consumption by the general population. The results showed that the trapping effect was enhanced when the hanging height was increased,and the trapping effect was the best in west direction. | 20 | Effect of Osteocytes Subjected to Fluid Flow on Osteoblasts显示文摘Osteocytes act as mechanosensors in bone, which can send mechanical signals directly to osteoblasts through gap junctions. However, under physiological conditions the number of gap junctions is limited because of the quantity variance of the two kinds of cells. In this study, the possibility of indirect interaction between these two cells was investigated. A new flow champer was designed in which osteocytes and osteoblasts were cocultured in two champers separately. Osteocytes were exposed to fluid flow and then the ALP activity, osteocalcin and osteopotin of osteoblasts were determined.
