| 1 | Establishment and Characterization of a Cell Based Artificial Antigen-Presenting Cell for Expansion and Activation of CD8^+ T Cells Ex Vivo显示文摘Artificial antigen-presenting cells are expected to stimulate the expansion and acquisition of optimal therapeutic features of T cells before infusion. Here CD32 that binds to a crystallizable fragment of IgG monoclonal antibody was genetically expressed on human K562 leukemia cells to provide a ligand for T-cell receptor. CD86 and 4-1BBL,which are ligands of co-stimulating receptors of CD28 and 4-1BB,respectively,were also expressed on K562 cells. Then we accomplished the artificial antigen-presenting cells by coupling K32/CD86/4-1BBL cell with OKT3 monoclonal antibody against CD3,named K32/CD86/4-1BBL/OKT3 cells. These artificial modified cells had the abilities of inducing CD8+ T cell activation,promoting CD8+ T cell proliferation,division,and long-term growth,inhibiting CD8+ T cell apoptosis,and enhancing CD8+ T cell secretion of IFN-γ and perforin. Furthermore,antigen-specific cytotoxic T lymphocytes could be retained in the culture stimulated with K32/CD86/4-1BBL/OKT3 cells at least within 28 days. | 2 | Cryptography on elliptic curves over p-adic number fields显示文摘In this paper we introduce a cryptosystem based on the quotient groups of the group of rational points of an elliptic curve defined over p-adic number field. Some additional parameters are taken in this system, which have an advantage in performing point multiplication while keeping the security of ECC over finite fields. We give a method to select generators of the cryptographic groups, and give a way to represent the elements of the quotient groups with finitely bounded storage by establishing a bijection between these elements and their approximate coordinates. | 3 | Digital signature systems based on smart card and fingerprint feature显示文摘Two signature systems based on smart cards and fingerprint features are proposed. In one signature system, the cryptographic key is stored in the smart card and is only accessible when the signer's extracted fingerprint features match his stored template. To resist being tampered on public channel, the user's message and the signed message are encrypted by the signer's public key and the user's public key, respectively. In the other signature system, the keys are generated by combining the signer's fingerprint features, check bits, and a rememberable key, and there are no matching process and keys stored on the smart card. | 6 | Immobilized MHC class I chain-related protein A synergizes with IL-15 and soluble 4-1BB ligand to expand NK cells with high cytotoxicity ex vivo显示文摘Major histocompatibility complex(MHC)class I chain-related protein A(MICA),which is a ligand for human NKG2D,is expressed by a variety of epithelial tumor cells and promotes the activation of natural killer(NK),CD81 and cd-T cells.Although ectopic expression of MICA on tumor cells elicits anti-tumor responses,soluble MICA downregulates the activities of lymphocytes.In this study,we showed that recombinant,immobilized MICA(iMICA)molecules coated on plastic wells weakly promote peripheral NK cell activation,secretion of interferon(IFN)-c and degranulation without inducing apoptosis.In addition,iMICA synergized with IL-15 and soluble 4-1BB ligand(s4-1BBL)to expand NK cells 25-to 42-fold in a 13-day culture,whereas NK cells stimulated only with IL-15 and s4-1BBL expanded 10-to 16-fold.In contrast toNKcells expanded by IL-15 and s4-1BBL stimulation,NKcells expanded long term in the presence of iMICA exhibited increased cytotoxicity against leukemia cells.These results suggest that large numbers ofNKcells with high cytotoxicity can be generated by stimulation with IL-15 and s4-1BBL in the presence of iMICA and that these cells can be used for adoptive cancer immunotherapy. | Weijuan Gong Weiming Xiao Li Qian Chunxiang Gong Maozhi Hu Xianyuan Pan Mingchun Ji | 2010 | Cellular & Molecular Immunology2010,7,6: | 2 |
| 7 | Voluntary emission reduction market in China: development, management status and future supply显示文摘The voluntary emission reduction (VER) trading mechanism has played an important role in China’s seven pilot carbon markets. From a comprehensive review of the VER trading and offsetting mechanisms since 2013, this study analyses the quality management of the Chinese Certified Emission Reduction (CCER) in the pilot carbon markets, conducts a comparative analysis of the geographical and field distributions of proposed and registered projects and emission reductions and provides the CCER supply outlook for 2020 in the aspects of on record, project registration, emission reduction registration and emission reduction issuance. Results show that the potential number of CCER projects by 2020 will be 2,864, 1,047, 818, and 286 with the corresponding emission reductions amounting to 493, 212, 133, and 49 million tCO2e, respectively. Although considerable progress has been made, China remains confronted with many challenges in developing the VER trading system. | 9 | Genetic variability for yield and fiber related traits in genetically modified cotton显示文摘Background:Cotton(Gossypium hirsutum L.)is grown for fiber and oil purposes in tropical and sub-tropical areas of the world.Pakistan is the 4th largest producer of cotton.It has a significant contribution in the GDP of Pakistan.Therefore,the present study was performed to assess the genetic variations and genetic diversity of yield and fiber quality traits in cotton and to analyze the associations present among them.Results:Analysis of variance exhibited significant variation for all studied traits except total number of nodes and the height to node ratio.The phenotypic coefficient of variation was higher than the genotypic coefficient of variation for all studied traits.Plant height,monopodial branches,total number of bolls,lint index,seed index,and seed cotton yield displayed high heritabilities in a broad sense with maximum genetic advanee.Correlation analysis revealed that seed cotton yield had a significant positive association with plant height,the nu mber of monopodial branches,the nu mber of sympodia I branches,ginning outturn(GOT),the number of bolls,seed per boll,seed index,uniformity index,the number of sympodial branches,reflectance,and seed index at the genotypic level while a significant positive relationship was observed with plant height,the number of sympodial branches,boll number,and GOT.Plant height,monopodial branches,GOT,boll weight,seeds per boll,and short fiber index exerted direct positive effects on seed cotton yield.The first 6 principal component analysis(PCs)out of the total fourteen PCs displayed eigenvalues(>1)and had maximum share to total variability(82.79%).The attributes that had maximum share to total divergence in eluded plant height,uniformity index,the nu mber of sympodial branches,seed per boll,GOT,seed cotton yield,and short fiber index.Conclusion:The genotype AA-802,IUB-13,FH-159,FH-458,and CIM-595 were genetically diverse for most of the yield and fiber quality traits and could be utilized for the selection of better performing genotypes for further improvement. | SAHAR Adeela ZAFAR Muhammad Mubashar RAZZAQ Abdul MANAN Abdul HAROON Muhammad SAJID Sunaina REHMAN Abdul MO Huijuan ASHRAF Muhammad REN Maozhi SHAKEEL Amir YUAN Youlu | 2021 | Journal of Cotton Research2021,4,3: | 1 |

It is found out that those cryptosystems have special common properties. Based on these properties, we pose two cycling attacks and point out some parameters under which the attacks are efficient. It is verified that randomly selected parameters almost impossibly submit to such attacks. Anyhow, two effective methods are given to construct weak parameters for certain homomorphic cryptosystems, and two moduli over 1 024 bits computed by them are shown to be vulnerable to our cycling attacks.
