| 1 | Climate change regionalization in China(1961–2010)显示文摘Since climatic condition is the important foundation for human subsistence and development and the key factor in sustainable development of economy and society, climate change has been a global issue attracting great attentions of politicians, scientists, governments, and the public alike throughout the world. Existing climate regionalization in China aims to characterize the regional differences in climate based on years of the mean value of different climate indexes. However, with the accelerating climate change nowadays, existing climate regionalization cannot represent the regional difference of climate change, nor can it reflect the disasters and environmental risks incurred from climate changes. This paper utilizes the tendency value and fluctuation value of temperature and precipitation from 1961 to 2010 to identify the climate change quantitatively, and completes the climate change regionalization in China(1961–2010) with county administrative regionalization as the unit in combination with China's terrain feature. Level-I regionalization divides China's climate change(1961–2010) into five tendency zones based on the tendency of temperature and precipitation, which are respectively Northeast China-North China warm-dry trend zone, East China-Central China wet-warm trend zone, Southwest China-South China dry-warm trend zone, Southeast Tibet-Southwest China wet-warm trend zone, and Northwest China-Qinghai-Tibet Plateau warm-wet trend zone; level-II regionalization refers to fourteen fluctuation regions based on level-I regionalization according to the fluctuation of temperature and precipitation. | SHI PeiJun SUN Shao WANG Ming LI Ning WANG JingAi JIN YunYun GU XiaoTian YIN WeiXia | 2014 | Science China Earth Sciences2014,57,11: | 22 |
| 2 | Resistance to rice blast (Pyricularia oryzae) caused by the expression of trichosanthin gene in transgenic rice plants transferred through agrobacterium method显示文摘The gene of trichosanthin has been transferred into rice plants through agrobacterium method. The single copy insertion and the expression of foreign gene have been proved in regenerated plants. In antifungal assay the degrees of rice blast (Pyricularia oryzae) infection of the transgenic plants expressing trichosanthin and expressing GUS gene as control have been evaluated. The differences such as the time of disease symptom observed, the number of infected plants and damaged leaves, the growth of infected plants of the two transgenic plants after being inoculated by rice blast (Pyricularia oryzae) are significant. The transgenic plants with trichosanthin gene grew faster than the plants with GUS gene, even when humidity environment was removed. The results show that the transgenic plants that expressed trichosanthin are able to delay the infection of rice blast compared with the plants as control. | 3 | Construction of chimeric inducible promoters by elicitors of rice fungal blast pathogen and their expression in transgenic rice显示文摘The promoter fragments of wheat GstA1 and potato Gst1 have been amplified by PCR, cloned and fused respectively to the minimal promoter sequence of rice actin gene (Act1)) and its 5’ untranslated leader sequence together with GUS. The constructs with 2 chimeric promoters (WGA and PGA) have been transferred into rice in order to analyze their inducibility patterns in transgenic rice plants. | 4 | Copy number alteration profiling facilitates differential diagnosis between ossifying fibroma and fibrous dysplasia of the jaws显示文摘Ossifying fibroma(OF)and fibrous dysplasia(FD)are two fibro-osseous lesions with overlapping clinicopathological features,making diagnosis challenging.In this study,we applied a whole-genome shallow sequencing approach to facilitate differential diagnosis via precise profiling of copy number alterations(CNAs)using minute amounts of DNA extracted from morphologically correlated microdissected tissue samples.Freshly frozen tissue specimens from OF(n=29)and FD(n=28)patients were obtained for analysis.Lesion fibrous tissues and surrounding normal tissues were obtained by laser capture microdissection(LCM),with~30–50 cells(5000–10000µm2)per sample.We found that the rate of recurrent CNAs in OF cases was much higher(44.8%,13 of 29)than that in FD cases(3.6%,1 of 28).Sixty-nine percent(9 of 13)of the CNA-containing OF cases involved segmental amplifications and deletions on Chrs 7 and 12.We also identified eight CNA-associated genes(HILPDA,CALD1,C1GALT1,MICALL2,PHF14,AIMP2,MDM2,and CDK4)with amplified expression,which was consistent with the copy number changes.We further confirmed a jaw lesion with a previous uncertain diagnosis due to its ambiguous morphological features and the absence of GNAS mutation as OF based on the typical Chr 12 amplification pattern in its CNA profile.Moreover,analysis of a set of longitudinal samples collected from an individual with a cellular lesion in suspicion of OF at the first surgery,recurrence and the latest malignant transformation revealed identical CNA patterns at the three time points,suggesting that copy number profiling can be used as an important tool to identify borderline lesions or lesions with malignant potential.Overall,CNA profiling of fibro-osseous lesions can greatly improve differential diagnosis between OF and FD and help predict disease progression. | Ming Ma Lu Liu Ruirui Shi Jianyun Zhang Xiaotian Li Xuefen Li Jiaying Bai Jianbin Wang Yanyi Huang Tiejun Li | 2021 | International Journal of Oral Science2021,13,2: | 3 |
| 5 | Improvement in the risk assessment of oral leukoplakia through morphology-related copy number analysis显示文摘Oral leukoplakia is the most common type of oral potentially malignant disorders and considered a precursor lesion to oral squamous cell carcinoma.However,a predictor of oral leukoplakia prognosis has not yet been identified.We investigated whether copy number alteration patterns may effectively predict the prognostic outcomes of oral leukoplakia using routinely processed paraffin sections.Comparison of copy number alteration patterns between oral leukoplakia with hyperplasia(HOL,n=22)and dysplasia(DOL,n=21)showed that oral leukoplakia with dysplasia had a higher copy number alteration rate(86%)than oral leukoplakia with hyperplasia(46%).Oral leukoplakia with dysplasia exhibited a wider range of genomic variations across all chromosomes compared with oral leukoplakia with hyperplasia.We also examined a retrospective cohort of 477 patients with oral leukoplakia with hyperplasia with detailed follow-up information.The malignant transformation(MT,n=19)and leukoplakia recurrence(LR,n=253)groups had higher frequencies of aneuploidy events and copy number loss rate than the free of disease(FD,n=205)group.Together,our results revealed the association between the degree of copy number alterations and the histological grade of oral leukoplakia and demonstrated that copy number alteration may be effective for prognosis prediction in oral leukoplakia patients with hyperplasia. | Xiaotian Li Lu Liu Jianyun Zhang Ming Ma Lisha Sun Xuefen Li Heyu Zhang Jianbin Wang Yanyi Huang Tiejun Li | 2021 | Science China(Life Sciences)2021,64,9: | 2 |

| 17 | Cooperative effect of Cr and Al elements on passivation enhancement of eutectic high-entropy alloy AlCoCrFeNi_(2.1)with precipitates显示文摘In conventional corrosion-resistant alloys,precipitation usually reduces corrosion resistance severely by weakening passive films locally.In this work,we found that the aging-treated AlCoCrFeNi_(2.1)sam-ples,which have abundant nanosized L 12 and body-centered cubic(BCC)precipitates in the lamellar face-centered cubic(FCC)and B2 phases,displayed better corrosion resistance than solution-treated AlCoCrFeNi_(2.1)samples without precipitates.In the AlCoCrFeNi_(2.1)alloy,the FCC phase with L1_(2)precipi-tates and the B2 phase with BCC precipitates were protected by passive films enriched with Cr and Al elements,respectively.Moreover,the Al-rich passive film of the B2 phase was less stable than the Cr-rich passive film of the FCC phase,so B2 phase dissolved preferentially.The Cr-rich passive film of the FCC phase remained stable with the formation of Al-rich L1_(2)precipitates inside the phase because those precipitates with the size of∼5 nm were too small to affect the composition of the Cr-rich passive film.The formation of Cr-rich BCC precipitates within the B2 phase increased the content of the Al element inside the phase,improving the stability of Al-rich passive film on the B2 phase.Furthermore,BCC precip-itates with the size of∼30 nm were protected by Cr-rich passive film,which could inhibit the expansion of corrosion pits.Thus,the corrosion resistance of eutectic high-entropy alloy AlCoCrFeN 2.1 was unprece-dentedly enhanced by the precipitation of BCC precipitates.Our study could provide an attractive strategy for designing high-entropy alloys with excellent corrosion resistance and high strength. | Xiaotian Duan Tiezhuang Han Xiao Guan Yuning Wang Huhu Su Kaisheng Ming Jing Wang Shijian Zheng | 2023 | Journal of Materials Science & Technology2023,,5: | 0 |
