| 1 | Digoxin Ameliorates Glymphatic Transport and Cognitive Impairment in a Mouse Model of Chronic Cerebral Hypoperfusion显示文摘The glymphatic system plays a pivotal role in maintaining cerebral homeostasis.Chronic cerebral hypoperfusion,arising from small vessel disease or carotid stenosis,results in cerebrometabolic disturbances ultimately manifesting in white matter injury and cognitive dysfunction.However,whether the glymphatic system serves as a potential therapeutic target for white matter injury and cognitive decline during hypoperfusion remains unknown.Here,we established a mouse model of chronic cerebral hypoperfusion via bilateral common carotid artery stenosis.We found that the hypoperfusion model was associated with significant white matter injury and initial cognitive impairment in conjunction with impaired glym・phatic system function.The glymphatic dysfunction was associated with altered cerebral perfusion and loss of aquaporin 4 polarization.Treatment of digoxin rescued changes in glymphatic transport,white matter structure,and cognitive function.Suppression of glymphatic functions by treatment with the AQP4 inhibitor TGN-020 abolished this protective effect of digoxin from hypoperfusion injury.Our research yields new insight into the relationship between hemodynamics,glymphatic transport,white matter injury,and cognitive changes after chronic cerebral hypoperfusion. | Jie Cao Di Yao Rong Li Xuequn Guo Jiahuan Hao Minjie Xie Jia Li Dengji Pan Xiang Luo Zhiyuan Yu Minghuan Wang Wei Wang | 2022 | Neuroscience Bulletin2022,38,2: | 5 |

| 3 | Multi-centric clinical study of the effect of intervention time on efficacy of gastroparesis external application prescription treatment of gastrointestinal tumor postsurgical gastroparesis显示文摘Objective:This intervention has been shown to be clinically efficacious and safe.The aim of this study was to determine the effect of different intervention times on the efficacy of gastroparesis external application prescription versus placebo for the treatment of gastrointestinal tumor postoperative,postsurgical gastroparesis.Methods:A multicenter,randomized,double-blind,placebo controlled phaseⅢclinical trial was designed to demonstrate superiority and conducted at four grade 3A hospitals in Beijing.Patients diagnosed with gastrointestinal tumor postsurgical gastroparesis and local cold syndrome in the abdomen were enrolled and received conventional treatment(nutritional support,gastrointestinal decompression,and prokinetic medication).Treatment and control groups respectively received gastroparesis external application prescription or placebo acupoint application over a treatment course of 14 days or until the primary efficacy endpoint(clinical efficiency)was achieved.Results:A total of 120 patients were enrolled in the treatment and control groups(n Z 60 per group),and 15 patients dropped out of the study because of skin allergies(n Z 7)or poor efficacy(nZ8).The efficacy among patients in Class B of Group A(treatment group)was marginally better than that of Group B(control group)(64.28%vs.55.56%)although the difference between the two groups was not significant.However,the efficacy among patients in Class C of Group A was significantly better than that of Group B(79.49%vs.43.33%).For Group A,the time for patients in the three classes to achieve the efficacy endpoint increased significantly with disease progression(3.00,6.78,and 8.29 days for Class A,B,and C,respectively).Conclusions:Gastroparesis external application prescription can effectively treat gastrointestinal tumor postsurgical gastroparesis and may be more efficacious in progressive disease compared placebo.Patients with gastrointestinal tumor postsurgical gastroparesis should therefore undergo intervention at an earlier stage. | Qin Zhou Minghuan Zuo Yantao Tian Yanbin Wang Yingjiang Ye Chao An Tian Zhou Chuanbo Liu Kaiwen Hu Quanwang Li | 2016 | Journal of Traditional Chinese Medical Sciences2016,3,4: | 2 |
| 4 | Conversion of Au(Ⅲ)-polluted waste eggshell into functional CaO/Au nanocatalyst for biodiesel production显示文摘Developing an environmental-friendly and highly active catalyst in transesterification for biodiesel production is of great importance for a more economic biodisel process.Herein,we reported that waste eggshells were used to adsorb Au(Ⅲ) in water and convert the Au(Ⅲ)-polluted eggshells into the functional nanocatalyst-Ca O/Au for the transesterification reaction between soybean oil and methanol to the preparation of biodiesel.By coupling of Ca O and Au nanoparticles,Ca O/Au nanoparticles showed superior catalytic activity for the transesterification reaction between soybean oil and methanol.An optimum performance was observed over Ca O/Au nanocomposites in a methanol-oil molar ratio at 12:1with catalyst content of 1.0 wt% at 70°C for 3 h.Besides,the catalytic activity of Ca O/Au nanocatalyst was almost unchanged after recycling for 5 times and the yield of biodiesel still kept at 88.9%.The proof-of concept study provided us a sustainable method for utilization of waste eggshells to remedy the metal ions-polluted wastewater and the synthesis of functional nanocomposite for biodiesel production,show great potential application of waste eggshell in adsorption and catalytic reactions. | Jiadi Liu Minghuan Liu Shaoyun Chen Bingqing Wang Jin Chen Da-Peng Yang Shangzhou Zhang Wenxiao Du | 2022 | Green Energy & Environment2022,7,2: | 2 |
| 5 | Regulations of m^(6)A methylation on tomato fruit chilling injury显示文摘Tomato fruit are sensitive to chilling injury(CI)during cold storage.Several factors have been discovered to be involved in chilling injury of tomato fruit.Plant hormones play an important regulatory role,however,the relationship between chilling injury and N6-methyladenosine(m^(6)A)methylation of transcripts in plant hormone pathways has not been reported yet.In order to clarify the complex regulatory mechanism of m^(6)A methylation on chilling injury in tomato fruit,Nanopore direct RNA sequencing was employed.A large number of enzymes and transcription factors were found to be involved in the regulation process of fruit chilling injury,which were associated with plant hormone,such as 1-aminocyclopropane 1-carboxylate synthase(ACS),aspartate aminotransferase(AST),auxin response factor(ARF2),ethylene response factor 2(ERF2),gibberellin 20-oxidase-3(GA20ox)and jasmonic acid(JA).By conjoint analysis of the differential expression transcripts related to chilling injury andm^(6)Amethylation differential expression transcripts 41 differential expression transcripts were identified involved in chilling injury including 1-aminocyclopropane-1-carboxylate oxidase(ACO)and pectinesterase(PE)were down-regulated and heat shock cognate 70 kD protein 2(cpHSC70),HSP70-binding protein(HspBP)and salicylic acid-binding protein 2(SABP2)were up-regulated.Our results will provide a deeper understanding for chilling injury regulatory mechanism and post-harvest cold storage of tomato fruit. | Chunmei Bai Minghuan Fang Baiqiang Zhai Lili Ma Anzhen Fu Lipu Gao Xiaohong Kou Demei Meng Qing Wang Shufang Zheng Jinhua Zuo | 2021 | Horticultural Plant Journal2021,7,5: | 2 |

| 12 | Carbon dots enhanced gelatin/chitosan bio-nanocomposite packaging film for perishable foods显示文摘Carbon dots(CDs)with intriguing fluorescent property,good biocompatibility,high stability,easy interaction with substrates,are burgeoning carbon nanoparticles with large potential in various applications.Incorporating CDs into the polymer matrix is becoming a popular strategy to endow the complex with new functions.Herein,the green-synthesized CDs was integrated into the mixture of gelatin(derived from waste fish scale)and chitosan,and a multifunctional bio-nanocomposite(defined as Gelatin/Chitosan/CDs)film was developed,which showed the excellent antibacterial,antioxidant,pH-sensitivity,UV shielding,and blue-emission properties.The effects of different concentrations of CDs on the physical,mechanical,structural,and functional activity of bio-nanocomposite film were tested.Compared with the Gelatin/Chitosan film,the Gelatin/Chitosan/CDs film with an optimum addition of 20%CDs showed the enhanced antibacterial,antioxidant as well as UV shielding activities.More importantly,it was used as an effective packaging material for fish meat preservation,reducing the loss of nutritional quality consumption,extending the shelf life of food.Besides,the bio-nanocomposite films also possessed the anti-counterfeiting and pH-responsive properties due to the strong fluorescent emission of CDs,and had the great potential in developing the intelligent packaging materials.Our work shed new light on the new application of CDs and the synthesis of bio-nanocomposite film in food industry. | Bofei Fu Qiaoling Liu Minghuan Liu Xiaofang Chen Hetong Lin Zongping Zheng Junqiu Zhu Congjie Dai Xiaochen Dong Da-Peng Yang | 2022 | Chinese Chemical Letters2022,33,10: | 1 |
