1A method to estimate concentrations of surface-level particulate matter using satellite-based aerosol optical thickness显示文摘We propose a new method to estimate surface-level particulate matter(PM)concentrations by using satellite-retrieved Aerosol Optical Thickness(AOT).This method considers the distribution and variation of Planetary Boundary Layer(PBL)height and relative humidity(RH)at the regional scale.The method estimates surface-level particulate matter concentrations using the data simulated by an atmospheric boundary layer model RAMS and satellite-retrieved AOT.By incorporation MODIS AOT,PBL height and RH simulated by RAMS,this method is applied to estimate the surface-level PM 2.5 concentrations in North China region.The result is evaluated by using 16 ground-based observations deployed in the research region,and the result shows a good agreement between estimated PM 2.5 concentrations and observations,and the coefficient of determination R2 is 0.61 between the estimated PM 2.5 concentrations and the observations.In addition,surface-level PM 2.5 concentrations are also estimated by using MODIS AOT,ground-based LIDAR observations and RH measurements.A comparison between the two estimated PM 2.5 concentrations shows that the new method proposed in this paper is better than the traditional method.The coefficient of determination R2 is improved from 0.32 to 0.62.TAO JinHua ZHANG MeiGen CHEN LiangFu WANG ZiFeng SU Lin GE Cui HAN Xiao ZOU MingMin 2013Science China Earth Sciences2013,56,8:20
2Role of MR-DWI and MR-PWI in the radiotherapy of implanted pulmonary VX-2 carcinoma in rabbits显示文摘Objective: To detect the activity of tumor cells and tumor blood flow before and after the radiotherapy of implanted pulmonary VX-2 carcinoma in rabbit models by using magnetic resonance diffusion-weighted imaging(MR-DWI) and magnetic resonance perfusion weighted imaging(MR-PWI), and to evaluate the effectiveness and safety of the radiotherapy based on the changes in the MR-DWI and MR-PWI parameters at different treatment stages.Methods: A total of 56 rabbit models with implanted pulmonary VX-2 carcinoma were established, and then equally divided into treatment group and control group. MR-DWI and MR-PWI were separately performed using a Philips Acheiva 1.5T MRI machine(Philips, Netherland). MRI image processing was performed using special perfusion software and the WORKSPACE advanced workstation for MRI. MRDWI was applied for the observation of tumor signals and the measurement of apparent diffusion coefficient(ADC) values; whereas MR-PWI was used for the measurement of wash in rate(WIR), wash out rate(WOR), and maximum enhancement rate(MER). The radiation treatment was performed using Siemens PRIMUS linear accelerator. In the treatment group, the radiotherapy was performed 21 days later on a once weekly dosage of 1,000 c Gy to yield a total dosage of 5,000 c Gy.Results: The ADC parameters in the region of interest on DWI were as follows: on the treatment day for the implanted pulmonary VX-2 carcinoma, the t values at the center and the edge of the lesions were 1.352 and 1.461 in the treatment group and control group(P>0.05). During weeks 0-1 after treatment, the t values at the center and the edge of the lesions were 1.336 and 1.137(P>0.05). During weeks 1-2, the t values were 1.731 and 1.736(P<0.05). During weeks 2-3, the t values were 1.742 and 1.749(P<0.05). During weeks 3-4, the t values were 2.050 and 2.127(P<0.05). During weeks 4-5, the t values were 2.764 and 2.985(P<0.05). The ADC values in the treatment group were significantly higher than in the control group. After the radiotherapy(5,000 c Gy), the tumors remarkably shrank, along with low signal on DWI, decreased signal on ADC map, and remarkably increased ADC values. As shown on PWI, on the treatment day for the implanted pulmonary VX-2 carcinoma, the t values of the WIR, WOR, and MER at the center of the lesions were 1.05, 1.31, and 1.33 in the treatment group and control group(P>0.05); in addition, the t values of the WIR, WOR, and MER at the edge of the lesions were 1.35, 1.07, and 1.51(P>0.05). During weeks 0-1 after treatment, the t values of the WIR, WOR, and MER at the center of the lesions were 1.821, 1.856, and 1.931(P<0.05); in addition, the t values of the WIR, WOR, and MER at the edge of the lesions were 1.799, 2.016, and 2.137(P<0.05). During weeks 1-1 after treatment, the t values of the WIR, WOR, and MER at the center of the lesions were 2.574, 2.156, and 2.059(P<0.05) and the t values of the WIR, WOR, and MER at the edge of the lesions were 1.869, 2.058, and 2.057(P<0.05). During weeks 2-3 after treatment, the t values of the WIR, WOR, and MER at the center of the lesions were 2.461, 2.098, and 2.739(P<0.05) and the t values of the WIR, WOR, and MER at the edge of the lesions were 2.951, 2.625, and 2.154(P<0.05). During weeks 3-4 after treatment, the t values of the WIR, WOR, and MER at the center of the lesions were 2.584, 2.107, and 2.869(P<0.05) and the t values of the WIR, WOR, and MER at the edge of the lesions were 2.057, 2.637, and 2.951(P<0.05). During weeks 4-5 after treatment, the t values of the WIR, WOR, and MER at the center of the lesions were 2.894, 2.827, and 3.285(P<0.05) and the t values of the WIR, WOR, andMER at the edge of the lesions were 3.45, 3.246, and 3.614(P<0.05). 3Mechanisms of Traditional Chinese Medicine Bushenantai granules(补肾安胎颗粒) in promoting angiogenesis at the maternal-fetal interface of recurrent spontaneous abortion mice显示文摘OBJECTIVE:To assess the effects of Bushenantai(BSAT)granule(补肾安胎颗粒)on angiogenesis-related factors[E2,P,and vascular endothelial growth factor(VEGF)]at the maternal-fetal interface of recurrent spontaneous abortion(RSA)mice,and to evaluate the role of BSAT in promoting angiogenesis at the maternal-fetal interface by influencing the expression of sex hormones,and VEGF.METHODS:A mouse model with normal pregnancy and another with Clark’s classic RSA were established.The RSA mice were randomly assigned to six groups:normal,model,progesterone,high-doseBSAT granule(BSAT-H),medium-dose-BSAT granule(BSAT-M),and low-dose-BSAT granule(BSAT-L)(n=10 for each group).The embryo loss rate and the histopathological changes in the decidual tissues were measured.Serum levels of estrogen(E2),progesterone(P),and VEGF were detected by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay.The m RNA and protein expressions of estradiol receptor(ER),progesterone receptor(PR),VEGF,and vascular endothelial growth factor receptor 2(VEGFR2)in the decidual tissues were identified by immunohistochemistry,Western blotting,and quantitative reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction.RESULTS:The embryo loss rate in all groups that received BSAT treatment was reduced,while the number of blood vessels at decidual tissues was increased.The serum levels of E2,P and VEGF were elevated,and the m RNA and protein expressions of ER,PR,VEGF,and VEGFR2 in the decidual tissues were enhanced.CONCLUSION:BSAT can improve angiogenesis at the maternal-fetal interface and reduce the embryo loss rate,which may be associated with its ability to increase the serum levels of estrogen,progesterone,and VEGF,in addition to up-regulation of m RNA and protein expression of ER,PR,VEGF,and VEGFR2 in the decidual tissues.LI Yuanqi LI Weili YU Xinhui WU Hua WANG Yuanzhong JIN Ya HAO Lele LIU Mingmin SONG Xiaoge 2021Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine2021,41,4:3
4Preparation and application of iron oxide/persimmon tannin/graphene oxide nanocomposites for efficient adsorption of erbium from aqueous solution显示文摘Rare earth elements(REEs)are used for the developme nt of new energy materials owing to their intrinsic physicochemical property.However,excess REEs in water threaten the safety of animals,plants and humans.An efficient way to separate REEs from the water is therefore needed.In this study,a biosorbent consisting of iron oxide(Fe3 O4),persimmon tannin(PT),and graphene oxide(GO)as Fe3 O4/PT/GO was prepared,and the adsorption of trivalent erbium(Er3+)ions from aqueous solution was investigated.The adsorption process for Er3+ions conforms to pseudo-second order kinetic and the Langmuir isotherm model behavior.Thermodynamic studies indicate that the adsorption process is spontaneous and endothermic.Scanning electron microscopy(SEM),X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy(XPS),X-ray diffraction(XRD),thermogravimetric analysis(TGA).Fourier-transform infrared(FT-IR)spectroscopy;Brunauer-Emmett-Teller(BET)analysis,and vibrating sample magnetometer(VSM)were used to assess the adsorption mechanism of Er3+ions onto the Fe3 O4/PT/GO biosorbent.A combination of electrostatic interactions,redox reactivity and chelation are responsible for adsorption of Er3+ions on the Fe3 O4/PT/GO biosorbent,The magnetic Fe3 O4/PT/GO biosorbent can be easily separated under the magnetic field for effective recycle of Er3+ions from aqueous solution.Therefore,this new biomass composite holds great promise for wastewater treatment.Lin Gao Zhongmin Wang Chaoke Qin Zhenming Chen Mingmin Gao Na He Xi Qian Zhide Zhou Guiyin Li 2020Journal of Rare Earths2020,38,12:3
5Bayesian network learning algorithm based on unconstrained optimization and ant colony optimization显示文摘Structure learning of Bayesian networks is a wellresearched but computationally hard task.For learning Bayesian networks,this paper proposes an improved algorithm based on unconstrained optimization and ant colony optimization(U-ACO-B) to solve the drawbacks of the ant colony optimization(ACO-B).In this algorithm,firstly,an unconstrained optimization problem is solved to obtain an undirected skeleton,and then the ACO algorithm is used to orientate the edges,thus returning the final structure.In the experimental part of the paper,we compare the performance of the proposed algorithm with ACO-B algorithm.The experimental results show that our method is effective and greatly enhance convergence speed than ACO-B algorithm.Chunfeng Wang Sanyang Liu Mingmin Zhu 2012Journal of Systems Engineering and Electronics2012,23,5:3
6Changes in zooplankton community structure in Sanmen Bay,China显示文摘Seasonal variations in zooplankton abundance,biomass,species diversity and community structure were investigated in the Sanmen Bay,China.Samples were collected from 15 stations,on the seasonal basis,in April(spring),July(summer) and October 2005(autumn) and January 2006(winter),respectively.The results show that zooplankton species number,abundance and biomass varied widely and had distinct spatial heterogeneity in the Sanmen Bay.A total of 72 species of zooplankton belonging to 56 genera and 17 groups of pelagic larvae were identified.The zooplankton species richness was strongly related to salinity.Based on hierarchical cluster analysis,zooplankton in this study area were classified into three groups:coastal,neritic and pelagic groups,which corresponded to the upper,middle and lower portion of the Sanmen Bay,respectively.The coastal low-saline species were dominant in the study area.The zooplankton abundance and biomass reached a peak in summer,moderate in spring and autumn,and the lowest in winter.Zooplankton abundance decreased from the upper to lower portion of the bay in April,when the highest biomass occurred in the middle portion of the bay.There were the same spatial distribution patterns for the biomass and abundance in July,with the maximum in the middle of the bay.However,zooplankton abundance was the highest in the middle of the bay in October,when maximum biomass occurred near the lower of the bay.Zooplankton abundance and biomass were evenly distributed in the Sanmen Bay in January.Spatial and temporal variations in zooplankton and their relationship with environmental factors were also analyzed.The BIOENV results indicate that the combination of chlorophyll a(Chl-a),salinity,dissolved inorganic nitrogen(DIN),dissolved oxygen(DO) and silicate(SiO3) was responsible for the variations in zooplankton community structure in the Sanmen Bay.The environmental changes played an important role in changes in the zooplankton community structure in the Sanmen Bay.LIU Zhensheng ZHANG Zhinan WANG Chunsheng JIN Haiyan DU Mingmin ZHANG Dongsheng 2012Acta Oceanologica Sinica2012,31,6:2

8STIM1 thermosensitivity defines the optimal preference temperature for warm sensation in mice显示文摘Mammals possess a remarkable ability to sense subtle temperature deviations from the thermoneutral skin temperature of -33 ℃, which ensures precise warm sensation.However,the underlying mechanisms remain unclear.Here we show that STIM1,an endoplasmic reticulum (ER)resident transmembrane protein that responds to both ER Ca^2- depletion and heat,mediates temperature-induced Ca^2+ influx in skin keratinocytes via coupling to Orai Ca^2+ channels in plasma membrane.Behaviorally,the keratinocyte-specific knockout of STIM1 shifts the optimal preference temperature (OPT)of mice from -32 ℃ to -34℃,resulting in a strikingly reversed preference between 32℃ and 34℃.Importantly,the thermally inactive STIM1-△K knock-in mice show altered OPT and warm preference behaviors as well,demonstrating the requirement of STIM1 thermosensitivity for warm sensation. 13Deep Learning Aided SCL Decoding of Polar Codes with Shifted-Pruning显示文摘Recently,a generalized successive cancellation list(SCL)decoder implemented with shiftedpruning(SP)scheme,namely the SCL-SP-ωdecoder,is presented for polar codes,which is able to shift the pruning window at mostωtimes during each SCL re-decoding attempt to prevent the correct path from being eliminated.The candidate positions for applying the SP scheme are selected by a shifting metric based on the probability that the elimination occurs.However,the number of exponential/logarithm operations involved in the SCL-SP-ωdecoder grows linearly with the number of information bits and list size,which leads to high computational complexity.In this paper,we present a detailed analysis of the SCL-SP-ωdecoder in terms of the decoding performance and complexity,which unveils that the choice of the shifting metric is essential for improving the decoding performance and reducing the re-decoding attempts simultaneously.Then,we introduce a simplified metric derived from the path metric(PM)domain,and a custom-tailored deep learning(DL)network is further designed to enhance the efficiency of the proposed simplified metric.The proposed metrics are both free of transcendental functions and hence,are more hardware-friendly than the existing metrics.Simulation results show that the proposed DL-aided metric provides the best error correction performance as comparison with the state of the art.Yang Lu Mingmin Zhao Ming Lei Chan Wang Minjian Zhao 2023China Communications2023,20,1:1
14Increased leucine-rich repeats and immunoglobulin- like domains 1 expression enhances chemosensitivity in glioma显示文摘Leucine-rich repeats and immunoglobulin-like domains 1 (LRIG1) is an anti-oncogene. LRIG1 is correlated with Bcl-2 in ependymomas. Decreased Bcl-2 and manganese superoxide dismutase expression can improve the chemosensitivity of glioma. In the present study, a tissue microarray of human brain astrocytomas was constructed. To investigate the relationship of LRIG1 with Bcl-2 and manganese superoxide dismutase, LRIG1, Bcl-2 and manganese su-peroxide dismutase expression in our tissue microarray was determined using immunohisto-chemistry. In addition, we constructed the LRIG1-U251 cell line, and its responses to doxoru-bicin and temozolomide were detected using the MTT assay. Results showed that LRIG1 ex-pression was significantly negatively correlated with Bcl-2 and manganese superoxide dismu-tase expression in glioma. Also, proliferation of LRIG1-U251 cells exposed to doxorubicin or temozolomide was significantly inhibited, i.e. in the LRIG1-U251 cell line, the chemosensitivity to doxorubicin and temozolomide was increased. 15直肠癌五野调强放疗与传统适形放疗剂量学研究(英文)显示文摘Objective: The aim of the study was to compare the difference of dose distribution in clinical target volume and organ at risk (OAR) between five-field intensity-modulated radiotherapy (IMRT) and conventional three-dimensional conformal radiotherapy (3DCRT) in the radiotherapy of rectal cancer. Methods: Fifteen patients with rectal cancer treated with radiotherapy (RT) were retrospectively analyzed. Among the patients, seven received RT preoperatively and 8 postoperatively. The target volume and the OARs such as the small bowel, bladder and femoral heads were contoured for each patient. 3DCRT-plan and IMRT-plan were performed for each patient respectively, with the prescribed dose covering at least 95% of the planning target volume (PTV). The conformity index (CI) and homogeneity index (HI) were used for evaluation of the dose distribution in the target volume, and the Dx% (the lowest dose to the x% volume of the OARs that received the highest dose of irradiation) and the mean dose were used for evaluation of the dose to OARs. Paired-T test was used for comparison of the difference between the two plans. Results: In the IMRT-plan and 3DCRT-plan, the CI were 0.94 and 0.87 (P = 0.000) and the HI were 1.13 and 1.17, respectively (P = 0.001). For small bowel, the D30%, D50% and the mean dose were 19.67 Gy, 15.13 Gy and 18.81 Gy in the IMRT-plan and 25.20 Gy, 22.20 Gy and 22.89 Gy in the 3DCRT-plan, respectively (P < 0.001 for all pairs of parameters). For bladder, the D30%, D50%, and the mean dose were 24.80 Gy, 34.20 Gy and 28.70 Gy in the IMRTplan, and 35.07 Gy, 44.67 Gy and 35.68 Gy in the 3DCRT-plan, respectively (P < 0.001 for all pairs of parameters). For femoral heads, the D5% in the IMRT-plan and 3DCRT-plan were 40.6 Gy and 40.47 Gy, respectively (P = 0.936), and the mean dose were 30.14 Gy and 25.57 Gy, respectively (P = 0.001). 17Modulate the electronic structure of Cu_(7)S_(4)nanosheet on TiO_(2)for enhanced photocatalytic hydrogen evolution显示文摘TiO_(2)is a promising photocatalyst due to its high thermodynamic stability and non-toxicity.However,its applications have been still limited because of the high recombination rate of electron-hole pairs.Herein,we show that by combining heterojunction construction and electronic structure regulation,the electron-hole pairs in TiO_(2)can be effectively separated for enhanced photocatalytic hydrogen evolution.The optimized Cu_(7)S_(4)nanosheet decorated TiO_(2)achieves much enhanced H_(2)evolution rate(11.5 mmol·g−1·h−1),which is 13.8 and 4.2 times of that of TiO_(2)and Cu_(7)S_(4)/TiO_(2),respectively.The results of photoluminescence spectroscopy,transient photocurrent spectra,ultraviolet-visible diffuse reflectance spectra,and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy collectively demonstrate that the enhanced photocatalytic performance of Air-Cu_(7)S_(4)/TiO_(2)is attributed to the effective separation of charge carriers and widened photoresponse range.The electron paramagnetic resonance and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy results indicate that the increase of Cu2+in the Cu_(7)S_(4)nanosheet after calcination can promote the charge transfer.This work provides an effective method to improve the electron migration rate and charge separation of TiO_(2),which holds great significance for being extended to other material systems and beyond.Wenqiang Liu Huiping Peng Leigang Li Mingmin Wang Hongbo Geng Xiaoqing Huang 2023Nano Research2023,16,4:0
18Network Topology Discovery Based on IP Address Inferring显示文摘In order to discover more detailed topology information of a certain network,a lightweight approach is proposed,in which only one probe source is required.In this approach,a heuristic method in using the'traceroute'tool is introduced to collect more topology pieces.Based on those traces,subnets(or point-to-point links) in the backbone can be identified.With those identified information,a set of rules is developed to resolve router IP aliases.Experiments with both this approach and existing topology discovery methods are carried out on two real networks,i.e.,TUNET,the Tsinghua University campus network,and CERNET(AS4538),the third largest ISP network of China.According to the comparison,the approach in this paper can get much higher quality information about IP addresses,links,and routers.In conclusion,a more complete and accurate topology can be gained with this approach.Wang Jilong Sun Mingmin 2012China Communications2012,9,5:0
19A novel dephosphorylation targeting chimera selectively promoting tau removal in tauopathies显示文摘Intraneuronal accumulation of hyperphosphorylated tau is a hallmark pathology shown in over twenty neurodegenerative disorders,collectively termed as tauopathies,including the most common Alzheimer's disease(AD).Therefore,selectively removing or reducing hyperphosphorylated tau is promising for therapies of AD and other tauopathies.Here,we designed and synthesized a novel DEPhosphorylation TArgeting Chimera(DEPTAC)to specifically facilitate the binding of tau to Ba-subunit-contalning protein phosphatase 2A(PP2A-Ba),the most active tau phosphatase in the brain.The DEPTAC exhibited high efficiency in dephosphorylating tau at multiple AD-associated sites and preventing tau accumulation both in vitro and in vivo.Further studies revealed that DEPTAC significantly improved microtubule assembly,neurite plasticity,and hippocampus-dependent learning and memory in transgenic mice with inducible overexpression of truncated and neurotoxic human tau N368.Our data provide a strategy for selective removal of the hyperphosphorylated tau,which sheds new light for the targeted therapy of AD and related-tauopathies.Jie Zheng Na Tian Fei Liu Yidian Zhang Jingfen Su Yang Gao Mingmin Deng Linyu Wei Jingwang Ye Honglian Li Jian-Zhi Wang 2021Signal Transduction and Targeted Therapy2021,6,8:0
20The high-quality sequencing of the Brassica rapa‘XiangQingCai’genome and exploration of genome evolution and genes related to volatile aroma显示文摘‘Vanilla’(XQC,brassica variety chinensis)is an important vegetable crop in the Brassica family,named for its strong volatile fragrance.In this study,we report the high-quality chromosome-level genome sequence of XQC.The assembled genome length was determined as 466.11 Mb,with an N50 scaffold of 46.20 Mb.A total of 59.50%repetitive sequences were detected in the XQC genome,including 47570 genes.Among all examined Brassicaceae species,XQC had the closest relationship with B.rapa QGC(‘QingGengCai’)and B.rapa Pakchoi.Two whole-genome duplication(WGD)events and one recent whole-genome triplication(WGT)event occurred in the XQC genome in addition to an ancient WGT event.The recent WGT was observed to occur during 21.59-24.40 Mya(after evolution rate corrections).Our findings indicate that XQC experienced gene losses and chromosome rearrangements during the genome evolution of XQC.The results of the integrated genomic and transcriptomic analyses revealed critical genes involved in the terpenoid biosynthesis pathway and terpene synthase(TPS)family genes.In summary,we determined a chromosome-level genome of B.rapa XQC and identified the key candidate genes involved in volatile fragrance synthesis.This work can act as a basis for the comparative and functional genomic analysis and molecular breeding of B.rapa in the future.Zhaokun Liu Yanhong Fu Huan Wang Yanping Zhang Jianjun Han Yingying Wang Shaoqin Shen Chunjin Li Mingmin Jiang Xuemei Yang Xiaoming Song 2023Horticulture Research2023,10,10:0
