2A confinement strategy to in-situ prepare a peanut-like N-doped, C-wrapped TiO_(2) electrode with an enhanced desalination capacity and rate for capacitive deionization显示文摘Capacitive deionization(CDI)technology has been considered a promising desalination technique,especially for brackish water,because of its relatively low energy consumption,facile operation,and easy regeneration of electrodes.However,the desalination capacity,cost,fabrication method,electrochemical stability,and environmental unfriendliness of the electrodes have restricted the practical application of the CDI technique.Herein,we reported the one-step in situ preparation of nitrogen-doped and carbon-decorated MXene-derived TiO_(2)(termed N-TiO_(2−x)/C)through the confinement-growth strategy.The small particle size(∼25 nm)and uniform distribution of a peanut-like N-TiO_(2−x)/C material could be ascribed to the confined growth space created by the nanoporous structure of melamine foam.The defects produced by N doping provide an enhanced electrical conductivity and more adsorption sites,while wrapping with a carbon shell layer increases the conductivity and offers protection for N-TiO_(2−x) to achieve an excellent electrochemical stability.The prepared N-TiO_(2−x)/C electrode is hydrophilic due to the abundant oxygen-containing functional groups(e.g.,C-O,N-Ti-O,-NO_(x),and-OH)and exhibits a high salt removal capacity(33.4 mg·g^(−1)),desalination rate(1.5 mg·g^(−1)·min^(−1)),and remarkable cycling stability(without declining after 100 cycles),which might be ascribed to the synergistic effects of the short ion diffusion path,more active adsorption sites,enhanced conductivity,pseudocapacitive behavior,and protection of the carbon shell layer.This work provides a confined-growth strategy to develop MXene-derived oxide electrodes for electrochemical desalination.Mingxing Liang Xueting Bai Fei Yu Jie Ma 2021Nano Research2021,14,3:5
3Effects of V and Zr Additions on Microstructures and Mechanical Properties of Nb-Ti-Al-Base Alloys显示文摘Microstructures and mechanical properties of Nb-32Ti-7Al alloys containing different V and Zr contents were investigated. The microstructures were characterized using optical microscopy and scanning electron microscopy (SEM). The alloy with V and Zr presents single phase Nb solid solution (Nbss). Tensile testing was carried out at room temperature and 1373 K. The results show that these alloys have good ductility at room temperature. 6Numerical modeling of thermal breakthrough induced by geothermal production in fractured granite显示文摘It is well known that the complicated channeling of fluid flow and heat transfer is strongly related with the intricate natural fracture system.However,it is still challenging to set up the fracture network model which is strong heterogeneous.Compared with other methods(e.g.equivalent continuum model(ECM),discrete fracture model(DFM),and ECM-DFM),the fracture flow module in the COMSOL Multiphysics simulator is powerful in definition of fractures as the inner flow boundary existing in the porous media.Thus it is selected to simulate the fluid flow and heat transfer in the geothermal-developed fractured granite of Sanguliu area located at Liaodong Peninsula,Eastern China.The natural faults/fractures based on field investigation combined with the discrete fracture network(DFN)generated by the MATLAB are used to represent the two-dimensional geological model.Numerical results show that early thermal breakthrough occurs at the production well caused by quick flow of cold water along the highly connected fractures.Suitable hydraulic fracturing treatments with proper injection rates,locations,etc.can efficiently hinder the thermal breakthrough time in the natural fracture system.Large well spacing helps the long-term operation of geothermal production,but it is highly dependent on the geometrical morphology of the fracture network.The enhancement of reservoir properties at the near-well regions can also increase the geothermal production efficiency.The results in this study can provide references to achieve a sustainable geothermal exploitation in fractured granitic geothermal reservoirs or hot dry rocks at depth.Hejuan Liu Hongwei Wang Hongwu Lei Liwei Zhang Mingxing Bai Lei Zhou 2020Journal of Rock Mechanics and Geotechnical Engineering2020,12,4:1
7Synergy of first-and second-sphere interactions in a covalent organic framework boosts highly selective platinum uptake显示文摘Platinum recovery from waste electrical and electronic equipment(WEEE) in highly acidic solutions is significant to the electronics industry and environmental remediation. However, the lack of ingenious design and synergetic coordination gives rise to unsatisfied PtCl_(4)^(2-)extraction capacities and selectivities in most previously reported adsorbents(e.g., polymeric and inorganic materials). Herein, we proposed a synergistic strategy that realizes highly selective PtCl_(4)^(2-)uptake through first-and second-sphere coordinations. The proof-of-concept imine-linked covalent organic framework(SCU-COF-3) was found to chelate Pt Cl42-via the direct N…Pt coordination and the synergistically interlaminar N–H…Cl hydrogen bonds, which was disclosed by the comprehensive analysis of extended X-ray adsorption fine structure(EXAFS) characterizations and density functional theory(DFT) calculations. The unique adsorption mechanism imparts a superior adsorption capacity(168.4 mg g-1)and extraordinary Pt(II) selectivity to SCU-COF-3 under static conditions. In addition, SCU-COF-3 exhibits an upgraded distribution coefficient of 1.62 × 10^(5)mL· g^(-1), one order of magnitude higher than those of reported natural adsorbents. 8Plasma metabolomics identifies metabolic alterations associated with the growth and development of cat显示文摘Background:The purpose of our study was to study the composition and content of the feline plasma metabolome revealing the critical metabolites and metabolic pathways associated with age during growth and development.Methods:Blood samples were collected from juvenile and adult groups for blood routine tests and serum biochemistry tests.Non-targeted metabolomics analyses of plasma were also performed to investigate changes in metabolites and metabolic pathways.Results:In this study,we found that the red blood cell counts,liver function indexes(albumin and gamma-glutamyl transpeptidase),and the concentration of triglyceride and glucose changed significant with growth and development.The metabolomics results revealed that 1427 metabolites were identified in the plasma of young and adult cats.Most of these metabolites belong to major classes of lipids and lipid-like molecules.The most obvious age-related metabolites include reduced levels of chenodeoxycholate,taurocholate,cholate,and taurochenodeoxycholate but increased levels of L-cysteine and taurocyamine in the adult cat's serum.These metabolites are mainly involved in the primary bile acid biosynthesis pathway,the bile secretion pathway,and the taurine and hypotaurine metabolism pathway.Conclusion:This study revealed many age-related metabolite alterations in the feline plasma.These age-varying metabolites,especially in the bile acid biosynthesis and secretion metabolism pathways,indicate that the regulation of these pathways is involved in the growth and development of cats.This study promotes our understanding of the mechanism of feline growth and provides new insights into nutrition and medicine for cats of different ages.Shuaiyang Liu Yun Chen Xiaoming Wang Shuang Wang Lan Bai Xu Cheng Juan Wan Yufeng Hu Yi Ding Xin Zhang Mingxing Ding Hongliang Li Manli Hu 2023Animal Models and Experimental Medicine2023,6,4:0

10Yangshan A-Type Granites in the Lower Yangtze River Belt Formed by Ridge Subduction:Radiogenic Ca and Nd Isotopic Constraints显示文摘The Early Cretaceous aluminous A-type granites in the Lower Yangtze River belt(LYRB)can provide important insights into the Mesozoic magmatism in eastern China,but their origin remains highly controversial.In this study,radiogenic Ca-Nd isotopic analysis was performed for syenite porphyry and alkali-feldspar granite porphyry of the Yangshan pluton,a typical aluminous A-type granitic intrusion in the LYRB,to constrain its source and geodynamic setting.The results show thatε_(Ca)(126 Ma),ε_(Nd)(126 Ma)and K/Ca_(source) of the syenite porphyry range from-0.24 to+0.96,-7.2 to-6.0,and 0.31 to 1.26,respectively.The corresponding values for the alkali-feldspar granite porphyry range from 0.26 to 0.84,-8.0 to-6.1,and 0.79 to 1.08,respectively.Binary mixing modeling indicates that they were originated from the same sources with different proportion,namely,a mixing of 50%to 75%Neoproterozoic crust and 50%to 25%asthenospheric mantle.Together with previous works,we propose that the Early Cretaceous subduction of the ridge between the Pacific and Izanagi plates was responsible for the formation of the aluminous A-type granites in the LYRB.Jianghao Bai Mingxing Ling Xiaoyong Yang Fang Liu Huangling Gu Zebin Luo Xiaoyan Jiang Zhaofeng Zhang 2022Journal of Earth Science2022,33,3:0

12Research on DCC Strategy for Grid-Connected Inverter of D-PMSG under Unbalanced Network Voltage Conditions显示文摘According to performance analysis of a three-phase grid-connected inverter mathematical model of a directly-driven wind turbine with a permanent magnet synchronous generator (D-PMSG) under unbalanced network voltage conditions, a dual current-loop control strategy (DCC) oriented on positive voltage and negative current is proposed to inhibit the DC voltage fluctuation. Meanwhile, a notch filter is introduced into the conventional control strategy of a phase-locked loop to complete the low voltage ride through (LVRT) ability of the wind generator. A 1.5-MW D-PMSG with a back-to-back IGBT frequency converter was simulated in the PSCAD/EMTDC environment, and simulation results showed that: the maximum wind power tracking was achieved in this system and the proposed DCC strategy could successfully inhibit the rising aging of DC voltage and enhance the ride-through capability of D-PMSG wind generation system under unbalanced network voltage conditions.Song Lei Zhou Mingxing Bai Runqing 2012Electricity2012,23,5:0
