2The Chinese Hα Solar Explorer(CHASE) mission: An overview显示文摘The Chinese Hα Solar Explorer(CHASE), dubbed “Xihe”—Goddess of the Sun, was launched on October 14, 2021 as the first solar space mission of China National Space Administration(CNSA). The CHASE mission is designed to test a newly developed satellite platform and to acquire the spectroscopic observations in the Hα waveband. The Hα Imaging Spectrograph(HIS)is the scientific payload of the CHASE satellite. It consists of two observational modes: raster scanning mode and continuum imaging mode. The raster scanning mode obtains full-Sun or region-of-interest spectral images from 6559.7 to 6565.9 ? and from 6567.8 to 6570.6 ? with 0.024 ? pixel spectral resolution and 1 min temporal resolution. The continuum imaging mode obtains photospheric images in continuum around 6689 ? with the full width at half maximum of 13.4 ?. The CHASE mission will advance our understanding of the dynamics of solar activity in the photosphere and chromosphere. 4Soil total organic carbon/total nitrogen ratio as a key driver deterministically shapes diazotrophic community assemblages during the succession of biological soil crusts显示文摘The diazotrophic community in biological soil crusts(biocrusts)is the key supplier of nitrogen in dryland.To date,there is still limited information on how biocrust development influences the succession of diazotrophic community,and what are the most important factors mediating diazotrophic communities during biocrust succession.Using the high throughput nifH amplicon sequencing,the diazotrophs in soils at different developmental stages of biocrust were comparatively studied.The results evidenced the decreases of TOC/TN ratio and pH value with biocrust development.Nostoc and Scytonema were the most dominant diazotrophic genera at all biocrust stages,while Azospirillum and Bradyrhizobium were abundant only in bare soil.Diazotrophic co-occurrence networks tended to be less complex and less connected with biocrust succession.The soil TOC/TN ratio was the most dominant factor mediating diazotrophic diversity,community composition and assembly processes,while diazotrophic-diversity and NO3–-N/NH4+-N ratio were positively correlated with the nitrogenase activity during biocrust succession.This study provided novel understandings of nitrogen fixation and succession patterns of diazotrophic community,by showing the effects of biocrust succession on diazotrophic diversity,community composition,community assembly and co-occurrence networks,and recognizing TOC/TN ratio as the most dominant factor mediating diazotrophs during biocrust succession.Lin Xu Bingchang Zhang Entao Wang Bingjian Zhu Minjie Yao Chaonan Li Xiangzhen Li 2021Soil Ecology Letters2021,3,4:3
5Inversion of Stress Fields in the Middle Section of the Xiaojiang Fault and Its Adjacent Area显示文摘With waveform data of 613 earthquakes with ML ≥ 2. 5 in the middle section of the Xiaojiang fault and its adjacent area which occurred during January,1998 to September 2007,focal mechanisms were calculated by the direct wave amplitude ratio of S /P in the vertical component and their characteristics were analyzed. According to regional tectonic features of the middle section of the Xiaojiang fault and its adjacent area,the study region was partitioned into two zones with the Xiaojiang fault as the boundary,e. g. zone A and zone B (including the Xiaojiang fault). In order to research the faults stress in detail,the Xiaojiang fault zone was picked out for independent analysis. The study region was also partitioned into 1°× 1° cells with a 0. 5° step. The stress fields of zone A,B and the fault zone were inverted with the FMSI method (Gephart,1990). The results show that first, the faults are mainly of strike-slip in the middle section and its adjacent area,amounting to 81. 28%,69. 23% and 72. 97% in the A,B and fault zones,respectively. Secondly,the stress inversion also indicates that the directions of maximum principal stress σ1 in the A, B,and fault zones are approximately NNW,NWW and NWW,the stress action is mainly horizontal,and strike-slip faulting is dominant in the study area. On the other hand,the direction of the principal stress field in the central Yunnan block changed from NNW to NWW,however,in the region between the Yuanmou and Pudu River faults,the azimuth of the main compressive stress shows that the north-south slip is obvious. There are three sources of energy: energy of celestial body outside the Earth, the Earth energy and energy of interaction between the Earth and other celestial bodies. Meanwhile, there are three scales of co-evolution: the evolution of the Sun-Earth-Moon system on an ultra-long time scale has provided energy sources and extra-terrestrial environmental conditions for the formation of the Earth system;the evolution of the Earth system on a long time scale has provided the material preconditions such as energy resources and suitable sphere environment for life birth and the human development;on a short time scale, the development of human civilization makes the human circle break through the Earth system, expanding the extraterrestrial civilization. 11Alkaline-lacustrine deposition and paleoenvironmental evolution in Permian Fengcheng Formation at the Mahu sag, Junggar Basin,NW China显示文摘Alkaline-lacustrine deposition and its evolution model in Permian Fengcheng Formation at the Mahu sag, Junggar Basin were investigated through core and thin-section observation, geochemical and elemental analysis, logging response and lithofacies identification. Six lithofacies are developed in the Fengcheng Formation. The Feng 2 Member(P1 f2) is dominated by lithofacies with alkaline minerals, while the upper part of the Feng 1 Member(P1 f1) and the lower part of the Feng 3 Member(P1 f3) are primarily organic-rich mudstones that are interbedded with dolomite and dolomitic rock. Paleoenvironment evolution of Fengcheng Formation can be divided into 5 stages, which was controlled by volcanic activity and paleoclimate. The first stage(the early phase of P1 f1) was characterized by intensive volcanic activity and arid climate, developing pyroclastics and sedimentary volcaniclastic rocks. The secondary stage(the later phase of P1 f1) had weak volcanic activity and humid climate that contributed to the development of organic-rich mudstone, forming primary source rock in the Fengcheng Formation. The increasing arid climate at the third stage(the early phase of P1 f2) resulted in shrinking of lake basin and increasing of salinity, giving rise to dolomite and dolomitic rocks. The continuous aird climate, low lake level and high salinity at the fourth stage(the later phase of P1 f2) generated special alkaline minerals, e.g., trona, indicating the formation of alkaline-lacustrine. 12Sedimentary diagenesis of rudist shoal and its control on reservoirs: A case study of Cretaceous Mishrif Formation, H Oilfield, Iraq显示文摘Based on the core, cast thin section, whole rock analysis, conventional physical properties and high pressure mercury intrusion test, the sedimentary diagenesis characteristics of rudist shoal in Cretaceous Mishrif Formation of H Oilfield, Iraq and its control on the reservoir were studied. The rudist shoal of the Mishrif Formation develops in the high-stand systems tract and is distributed in the high places of paleogeomorphology on the edge of platform with strong hydrodynamic force. According to the relative sea level changes, lithologic evolution and sedimentary structure characteristics of the rudist shoal, the single rudist shoal is divided into four lithologic sections: A, B, C and D, that is, low-angle cross-bedding pelletoids-rudist packstone, low-angle cross-bedding and parallel bedding arene-rudist grainstone, parallel bedding rudist gravel limestone, and horizontal bedding carbonaceous mudstone. The complete sedimentary sequence of a single rudist shoal is often disrupted. Several rudist shoals superimpose to form thick rudist shoal sediment. The single rudist shoal thickness and lithologic sections assemblage change regularly in vertical direction. The rudist shoal has the characteristics of 'strong dissolution, weak cementation and strong compaction', forming pore-type reservoir with intergranular pores, intergranular dissolved pores, mold pores, and dissolved pores. With mainly coarse pore throats larger than 5 μm, the reservoir is of medium-high porosity and high permeability. There is lithological reverse cycles inside single shoals and between single shoals, with content of mud crystals decreasing from the bottom to the top, dissolution increasing, cementation decreasing in strength, pore throats getting larger, and physical properties turning better. 13Comprehensive Research on Focal Mechanism Solutions in the Capital Circle Area of China显示文摘Comprehensive statistical analysis was performed on the basic features of focal mechanisms of 619 ML≥2. 0 earthquakes which occurred in the capital circle area from January 2002 to June 2010. By dividing the capital area into three studying regions based on regional tectonic characteristics,cluster analysis was conducted on the focal mechanisms of all subregions using the longest distance method in the statistical cluster analysis to study the characteristics of tectonic stress tensors. The result shows that dominant P-axis azimuth distribution is NNE-NEE and that of T-axis is NNW-NWW,most of the focal areas are controlled by a horizontal stress field and rupture is mainly of horizontal strike-slip. The maximum principal compression stress orientation is NE75° in the west,NE62° in the middle,and near EW in the east of the capital area. 16Protective effects of (-)-epigallocatechin-3-gallate on D-galactose-induced neuronal apoptosis in mice显示文摘BACKGROUND: The neuroprotective effects of (-)-epigallocatechin-3-gallate (EGCG), the mainpolyphenolic constituent of green tea, have been widely reported. However, the action mechanisms,in particular in D-galactose-induced aging mice, remain poorly understood.OBJECTIVE: The present study investigated the protective effects of EGCG onD-galactose-induced hippocampus neuronal apoptosis in aging mice, as well as the relationship withexpression of p75ICD, JNK2, and p53 proteins.DESIGN, TIME AND SETTING: A randomized, controlled, molecular biological, animal experimentwas performed at the Laboratory of Pharmacology, Pharmaceutical College of China MedicalUniversity, China, from September 2006 to July 2008.MATERIALS: D-galactose and EGCG (Sigma, USA), as well as terminal deoxynucleotidyltransferase-mediated dUTP-biotin nick-end labeling (TUNEL) In Situ Cell Apoptosis Detection Kit(Promega, USA), were used in this study.METHODS: A total of 64 mice were equally and randomly divided into D-galactose model, low-doseEGCG, high-dose EGCG, and control groups. Mice in the D-galactose model, low-dose EGCG,and high-dose EGCG groups were subcutaneously injected with 3% D-galactose (150 mg/kg),daily for 6 weeks, to establish a mouse model of aging. Mice in the control group were treated withsaline (5 mL/kg). At 3 weeks following injection, mice in the low-dose EGCG and high-dose EGCGgroups were orally administered EGCG at a dose of 2 mg/kg and 6 mg/kg, respectively, once a day,for 4 consecutive days. Mice in the control and D-galactose model groups received distilled water(5 mL/kg).MAIN OUTCOME MEASURES: Memory function was evaluated using a step-through passiveavoidance test. Neuronal apoptosis in the mouse hippocampus was detected using TUNEL staining.Expression levels of the intracellular domain of the p75 neurotrophin receptor (p75NTR)-p75ICD,JNK2, and p53 proteins in the hippocampus were determined using Western blot analysis.RESULTS: The aging mouse model was induced by subcutaneous injection of D-galactose, whichresulted in obvious memory impairment, increased apoptotic index, and increased proteinexpression levels of p75ICD, JNK2, and p53 in the hippocampus, compared with control mice (P <0.01). Oral EGCG administration (2 or 6 mg/kg) for 4 weeks significantly improved levels of memorydeficit in the aging mice and reduced apoptotic indices and protein expression levels of p75ICD,JNK2, and p53 in the mouse hippocampus (P < 0.01).CONCLUSION: Results from this study demonstrated increased protein expression levels ofp75ICD, JNK2, and p53, as well as increased hippocampal neuronal apoptosis in aD-galactose-induced mouse model of aging. 19CircUCP2 promotes the tumor progression of non-small cell lungcancer through the miR-149/UCP2 pathway显示文摘Non-small cell lung cancer(NSCLC)is a highly lethal cancer,and better treatments are urgently needed.Many studies have implicated circular RNAs(circRNAs)in the progression of multiple malignant tumors.Nonetheless,the functions of circRNAs in NSCLC remain unclear.To study new targets for the treatment of NSCLC,circRNA expression profiling was performed on NSCLC tissues and para-carcinoma nonmalignant tissues.RNA was isolated and used for circRNA sequencing.Biological studies were performed in vitro and in vivo to determine the functions of circRNAs in NSCLC,including their functions in cell proliferation and migration.How circRNAs function in NSCLC was explored to clarify the underlying regulatory mechanisms.We found that circUCP2 was upregulated in NSCLC tissues compared with neighboring nonmalignant tissues.circUCP2 promoted the proliferation and metastasis of NSCLC cells.circUCP2 promoted NSCLC progression by sponging miR-149 and upregulating UCP2.The circUCP2/miR-149/UCP2 axis accelerates the progression of NSCLC,and circUCP2 may therefore be a novel diagnostic biomarker for the progression of NSCLC.WEI DU FANG YIN YATING ZHONG MINJIE LUO ZHEN WANG PENG LIN QING LIU HAN YANG 2023Oncology Research2023,31,6:0
