| 1 | Friction of low-dimensional nanomaterial systems显示文摘When material dimensions are reduced to the nanoscale,exceptional physical mechanics properties can be obtained that differ significantly from the corresponding bulk materials.Here we review the physical mechanics of the friction of low‐dimensional nanomaterials,including zero‐dimensional nanoparticles,one‐dimensional multiwalled nanotubes and nanowires,and two‐dimensional nanomaterials-such as graphene,hexagonal boron nitride(h‐BN),and transition‐metal dichalcogenides-as well as topological insulators.Nanoparticles between solid surfaces can serve as rolling and sliding lubrication,while the interlayer friction of multiwalled nanotubes can be ultralow or significantly high and sensitive to interwall spacing and chirality matching,as well as the tube materials.The interwall friction can be several orders of magnitude higher in binary polarized h‐BN tubes than in carbon nanotubes mainly because of wall buckling.Furthermore,current extensive studies on two‐dimensional nanomaterials are comprehensively reviewed herein.In contrast to their bulk materials that serve as traditional dry lubricants(e.g.,graphite,bulk h‐BN,and MoS_(2)),large‐area high‐quality monolayered two‐dimensional nanomaterials can serve as single‐atom‐thick coatings that minimize friction and wear.In addition,by appropriately tuning the surface properties,these materials have shown great promise for creating energy‐efficient self‐powered electro‐opto‐magneto‐mechanical nanosystems.State‐of‐the‐art experimental and theoretical methods to characterize friction in nanomaterials are also introduced. | Wanlin GUO Jun YIN Hu QIU Yufeng GUO Hongrong WU Minmin XUE | 2014 | Friction2014,2,3: | 15 |

| 3 | Pollution characteristics, sources and lung cancer risk of atmospheric polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons in a new urban district of Nanjing, China显示文摘This paper focused on the pollution characteristics,sources and lung cancer risk of atmospheric polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons(PAHs) in a new urban district of Nanjing,China.Gaseous and aerosol PM_(2.5)(particulate matter with aerodynamic diameter smaller than2.5 urn) samples were collected in spring of 2015.Sixteen PAHs were extracted and analyzed after sampling.Firstly,arithmetic mean concentrations of PAHs and BaP_(eq)(benzo[a]pyrene equivalent) were calculated.The mean concentrations of PAHs were 29.26±14.13,18.14±5.37 and 48.47±16.03 ng/m^3 in gas phase,particle phase and both phases,respectively.The mean concentrations of BaP_(eq) were 0.87±0.51,2.71±2.17 and 4.06±2.31 ng/m^3 in gas phase,particle phase and both phases,respectively.Secondly,diagnostic ratios and principal component analysis were adopted to identify the sources of PAHs and the outcomes were the same:traffic exhaust was the predominant source followed by fuel combustion and industrial process.Finally,incremental lung cancer risk(ILCR) induced by whole year inhalation exposure to PAHs for population groups of different age and gender were estimated based on a Monte Carlo simulation.ILCR values caused by particle phase PAHs were greater than those caused by gas phase PAHs.ILCR values for adults were greater than those for other age groups.ILCR values caused by total(gas + particle) PAHs for diverse groups were all greater than the significant level(10~6),indicating high potential lung cancer risk.Sensitivity analysis results showed that cancer slope factor for BaP inhalation exposure and BaP_(eq) concentration had greater impact than body weight and inhalation rate on the ILCR. | Tao Wang Zhonghuan Xia Minmin Wu Qianqian Zhang Shiqi Sun Jing Yin Yanchi Zhou Hao Yang | 2017 | Journal of Environmental Sciences2017,29,5: | 7 |

| 5 | The heterogeneity of islet autoantibodies and the progression of islet failure in type 1 diabetic patients显示文摘Type 1 diabetes mellitus is heterogeneous in many facets. The patients suffered from type 1 diabetes present several levels of islet function as well as variable number and type of islet-specific autoantibodies. This study was to investigate prevalence and heterogeneity of the islet autoantibodies and clinical phenotypes of type 1 diabetes mellitus; and also discussed the process of islet failure and its risk factors in Chinese type 1 diabetic patients. A total of 1,291 type 1 diabetic patients were enrolled in this study. Demographic information was collected. Laboratory tests including mixed-meal tolerance test, human leukocyte antigen alleles, hemoglobin A1 c, lipids, thyroid function and islet autoantibodies were conducted. The frequency of islet-specific autoantibody in newly diagnosed T1 DM patients(duration shorter than half year) was 73% in East China. According to binary logistic regressions, autoantibody positivity, longer duration and lower Body Mass Index were the risk factors of islet failure. As the disease developed, autoantibodies against glutamic acid decarboxylase declined as well as the other two autoantibodies against zinc transporter 8 and islet antigen 2. The decrease of autoantibodies was positively correlated with aggressive beta cell destruction. Autoantibodies can facilitate the identification of classic T1 DM from other subtypes and predict the progression of islet failure. | 6 | Propofol attenuates high glucose-induced P66shc expression in human umbilical vein endothelial cells through Sirt1显示文摘Perioperative hyperglycemia is a common metabolic disorder in clinic settings.Hyperglycemia leads to endothelial inflammation,endothelial cell apoptosis,and dysfunction,thus resulting in endothelial injury.Propofol(2,6-diisopropylphenol)is a widely used intravenous anesthetic in clinic settings.Our previous study indicated that propofol inhibits mitochondrial reactive oxygen species(ROS)production via down-regulation of phosphatase A2(PP2A)expression,inhibition of Ser36-p66shc dephosphorylation and mitochondrial translocation,thus improving high glucose-induced endothelial injury.The expression of p66shc was inhibited by propofol in hyperglycemic human umbilical vein endothelial cells(HUVECs).However,the mechanism by which propofol inhibits p66shc expression in hyperglycemic HUVECs is still obscure.In the present study,we mainly examined how propofol inhibited high glucose-induced p66shc expression in HUVECs.Compared with 5 mM glucose treatment,high glucose increased p66shc expression and decreased sirt1 expression,which was inhibited by propofol treatment.Moreover,EX527(a sirt1 inhibitor)reversed the effect of propofol against high glucose-induced p66shc expression.However,EX527 did not reverse the effects of propofol against high glucose-induced ROS accumulation,endothelial inflammation,and apoptosis.Furthermore,when cells were incubated with propofol,EX527,and FTY720(a PP2A activator)simultaneously,the effects of propofol against high glucose-induced ROS accumulation,inflammation,and apoptosis were reversed.Our results suggested that propofol inhibited high glucose-induced p66shc expression via upregulation of sirt1 expression in hyperglycemic HUVECs.Moreover,propofol protects against high glucose-mediated ROS accumulation and endothelial injury via both inhibition of p66shc expression and dephosphorylation of Ser36-p66shc. | Jing Wang Jie Qi Qichao Wu Hui Jiang Yuehao Yin Yan Huanx Yanjun Zhao Minmin Zhu | 2019 | Acta Biochimica et Biophysica Sinica2019,51,2: | 5 |

| 9 | Tuning the luminous properties and optical thermometry of Cs_(2)SnCl_(6) phosphor microcrystals via Bi and Sb codoping显示文摘The toxicity and instability of lead halide perovskite seriously limit its commercial application in lighting,although it has high photoluminescence(PL)efficiency and adjustable emission.Here,lead-free bismuth(Bi)and antimony(Sb)codoped Cs_(2)SnCl_(6)(BSCSC)microcrystals(MCs)are prepared successfully by a solvothermal method.The PL spectrum is composed of dual emission bands with the peak at 485 and 650 nm,of which relative intensity can be tunable through the change of Bi and Sb feeding contents,respectively.Because of the phonon–electron interaction,the PL intensity is enhanced as the temperature rises within the range of 80–260 K.Then,the nonradiative transition is intensified until 380 K,which results in decrease in PL intensity.Simultaneously,combining with time-resolved PL,it is concluded that the emission peak at 485 nm is attributed to the[Bi_(Sn)+V_(Cl)]as the luminescent centers with the lifetime of hundreds of nanoseconds,and the emission peak at 650 nm is attributed to microsecond-timescale self-trapped excitons.The maximum values of relative sensitivity(S_(R))and absolute sensitivity(S_(A))values obtained are 3.82%K^(-1) and 5.11 ns·K^(-1),which for the first time to our knowledge demonstrate that BSCSC MCs can be novel luminescent materials for developing better optical thermometry.Whitelight-emitting diodes(WLEDs)are constructed using BSCSC MCs only combined with an LED chip,the Commission Internationale de L’Eclairage color coordinates of which are(0.30,0.37).It provides a novel scheme for the lighting field to realize WLEDs without adding additional commercial phosphors. | SHUNFA GONG RUIRUI WU SEN YANG LIFANG WU MINMIN ZHANG QIUJU HAN WENZHI WU | 2021 | Photonics Research2021,9,11: | 2 |

| 13 | Propofol attenuates the adhesion of tumor and endothelial cells through inhibiting glycolysis in human umbilical vein endothelial cells显示文摘Propofol is one of the most commonly used intravenous anesthetics and plays an important role in tumor suppression.In the present study,we aimed to investigate the mechanism by which propofol attenuates tumor endothelial cells(TECs)and tumor cell adhesion to inhibit tumor metastasis in vitro.Human umbilical vein endothelial cells(HUVECs)cultured in Dulbecco’s modified Eagle’s medium were treated with tumor conditioned medium for 24 h,followed by 4 h of treatment with or without 25μM of propofol,10μM of KN93,500μM of MK801,or 20μM of rapastinel.It was found that propofol inhibited TEC adhesion and the glycolysis level of TECs.Consistently,propofol inhibited the expressions of adhesion molecules(E-selectin,ICAM-1,and VCAM-1)and glycolysis proteins(GLUT1,HK2,and LDHA)in TECs.Moreover,propofol attenuated the expression of HIF-1α,the phosphorylation of AKT and Ca2+/calmodulin-dependent protein kinase II(CaMKII),and the Ca2+concentration in TECs.MK801,an inhibitor of NMDA receptor,and KN93,an inhibitor of CaMKII,both inhibited the expressions of adhesion molecules and glycolysis proteins,in a manner similar to propofol.Additionally,rapastine,an activator of NMDA receptor,could counteract the effects of propofol.Our results indicated that propofol attenuates intracellular Ca2+concentration,CaMKII and AKT phosphorylation,and HIF-1αexpression,probably via inhibiting the NMDA receptor,thus inhibiting glycolysis and adhesion of tumor and endothelial cells. | Jie Qi Qichao Wu Xuqin Zhu Shan Zhang Xiangyuan Chen Wankun Chen Zhirong Sun Minmin Zhu Changhong Miao | 2019 | Acta Biochimica et Biophysica Sinica2019,51,11: | 1 |

| 20 | Mediator complex subunit MED25 physically interacts with DST to regulate spikelet number in rice显示文摘Grain number is a flexible trait and contributes significantly to grain yield.In rice,the zinc finger transcription factor DROUGHT AND SALT TOLERANCE(DST)controls grain number by directly regulating cytokinin oxidase!dehydrogenase 2(OsCKX2)expression.Although specific upstream regulators of the DST-OsCKX2 module have been identified,the mechanism employed by DST to regulate the expression of OsCKX2 remains unclear.Here,we demonstrate that DST-interacting protein 1(DIP1),known as Mediator subunit OsMED25,acts as an interacting coactivator of DST.Phenotypic analyses revealed that OsMED25-RNAi and the osmed25 mutant plants exhibited enlarged panicles,with enhanced branching and spikelet number,similar to the dst mutant.Genetic analysis indicated that OsMED25 acts in the same pathway as the DST-OsCKX2 module to regulate spikelet number per panicle.Further biochemical analysis showed that OsMED25 physically interacts with DST at the promoter region of OsCKX2,and then recruits RNA polymerase II(Pol II)to activate OsCKX2 transcription.Thus,OsMED25 was involved in the communication between DST and Pol II general transcriptional machinery to regulate spikelet number.In general,our findings reveal a novel function of OsMED25 in DST-OsCKX2 modulated transcriptional regulation,thus enhancing our un derstanding of the regulatory mechanism underlying DST-OsCKX2-mediated spikelet number. | Lihao Lin Minmin Du Shuyu Li Chuanlong Sun Fangming Wu Lei Deng Qian Chen Chuanyou Li | 2022 | Journal of Integrative Plant Biology2022,64,4: | 1 |
