1Flight strategy optimization for high-altitude long-endurance solar-powered aircraft based on Gauss pseudo-spectral method显示文摘Solar-powered aircraft have attracted great attention owing to their potential for longendurance flight and wide application prospects.Due to the particularity of energy system,flight strategy optimization is a significant way to enhance the flight performance for solar-powered aircraft.In this study,a flight strategy optimization model for high-altitude long-endurance solar-powered aircraft was proposed.This model consists of three-dimensional kinematic model,aerodynamic model,energy collection model,energy store model and energy loss model.To solve the nonlinear optimal control problem with process constraints and terminal constraints,Gauss pseudo-spectral method was employed to discretize the state equations and constraint equations.Then a typical mission flying from given initial point to given final point within a time interval was considered.Results indicate that proper changes of the attitude angle contribute to increasing the energy gained by photovoltaic cells.Utilization of gravitational potential energy can partly take the role of battery pack.Integrating these two measures,the optimized flight strategy can improve the final state of charge compared with current constant-altitude constant-velocity strategy.The optimized strategy brings more profits on condition of lower sunlight intensity and shorter daytime.Shaoqi WANG Dongli MA Muqing YANG Liang ZHANG Guanxiong LI 2019Chinese Journal of Aeronautics2019,32,10:15
2Orderly Porous Covalent Organic Frameworks-based Materials:Superior Adsorbents for Pollutants Removal from Aqueous Solutions显示文摘Covalent organic frameworks(COFs)are a new type of crystalline porous polymers known for chemical stability,excellent structural regularity,robust framework,and inherent porosity,making them promising materials for capturing various types of pollutants from aqueous solutions.This review thoroughly presents the recent progress and advances of COFs and COF-based materials as superior adsorbents for the efficient removal of toxic heavy metal ions,radionuclides,and organic pollutants.Information about the interaction mechanisms between various pollutants and COF-based materials are summarized from the macroscopic and microscopic standpoints,including batch experiments,theoretical calculations,and advanced spectroscopy analysis.The adsorption properties of various COF-based materials are assessed and compared with other widely used adsorbents.Several commonly used strategies to enhance COF-based materials’adsorption performance and the relationship between structural property and sorption ability are also discussed.Finally,a summary and perspective on the opportunities and challenges of COFs and COF-based materials are proposed to provide some inspiring information on designing and fabricating COFs and COF-based materials for environmental pollution management.Xiaolu Liu Hongwei Pang Xuewei Liu Qian Li Ning Zhang Liang Mao Muqing Qiu Baowei Hu Hui Yang Xiangke Wang 2021The Innovation2021,2,1:12
3Efficacy of chalcopyrite bioleaching using a pure and a mixed bacterium显示文摘To determine the efficacy of chalcopyrite bioleaching using pure cultures of Thiobacillus ferrooxidans or Thiobacillus thiooxidans and a mixed culture composed of Thiobacillus ferrooxidans and Thiobacillus thiooxidans, experiments were carried out in shake flasks with [Fe^(2+)] 4 g.L^(-1) and S 1 g.L^(-1) at pH=1.80, 130 r/min and 30℃. The tests showed that the copper extraction in a mixed culture composed of Thiobacillus ferrooxidans and Thiobacillus thiooxidans is higher than that in a pure culture. On the other hand, an important potential of Thiobacillus thiooxidans to leaching chalcopyrite was indicated. Thiobacillus thiooxidans can prevent jarosites accumulating on the substrate and allow further copper to dissolute through the action of ferric ion. The selection of the suitable pH in a leaching solution would be significant. Thiobacillus thiooxidans and Thiobacillus ferrooxidans play an important role in the bioleaching process. 5A high-quality genome assembly of Morinda officinalis,a famous native southern herb in the Lingnan region of southern China显示文摘Morinda officinalis is a well-known medicinal and edible plant that is widely cultivated in the Lingnan region of southern China.Its dried roots(called bajitian in traditional Chinese medicine)are broadly used to treat various diseases,such as impotence and rheumatism.Here,we report a high-quality chromosome-scale genome assembly of M.officinalis using Nanopore single-molecule sequencing and Hi-C technology.The assembled genome size was 484.85Mb with a scaffold N50 of 40.97 Mb,and 90.77%of the assembled sequences were anchored on eleven pseudochromosomes.The genome includes 27,698 protein-coding genes,and most of the assemblies are repetitive sequences.Genome evolution analysis revealed that M.officinalis underwent core eudicotγgenome triplication events but no recent whole-genome duplication(WGD).Likewise,comparative genomic analysis showed no large-scale structural variation after species divergence between M.officinalis and Coffea canephora.Moreover,gene family analysis indicated that gene families associated with plant–pathogen interactions and sugar metabolism were significantly expanded in M.officinalis.Furthermore,we identified many candidate genes involved in the biosynthesis of major active components such as anthraquinones,iridoids and polysaccharides.In addition,we also found that the DHQS,GGPPS,TPS-Clin,TPS04,sacA,and UGDH gene families—which include the critical genes for active component biosynthesis—were expanded in M.officinalis.This study provides a valuable resource for understanding M.officinalis genome evolution and active component biosynthesis.This work will facilitate genetic improvement and molecular breeding of this commercially important plant.Jihua Wang Shiqiang Xu Yu Mei Shike Cai Yan Gu Minyang Sun Zhan Liang Yong Xiao Muqing Zhang Shaohai Yang 2021Horticulture Research2021,8,1:4
6The progress and prospect of assessment measures of uterine cavity function for infertility patients显示文摘Objective:To explore the progress and prospect of evaluation methods for infertility patients.Methods:From September 2017 to December 2020,199 cases of infertility patients who have accepted mini-hysteroscopy examination in the Department of Gynecological Endocrinology,Beijing Obstetrics and Gynecology Hospital,Capital Medical University.The patients who had primary ovary insufficiency,tubal infertility were excluded;patients with hysteroscopy contradiction,such as acute or sub-acute vaginal tract inflammation,endometrium lesion or endometrium carcinoma,severe cardiovascular,liver or kidney insufficiency were excluded.40 patients were excluded and 15 patients lost follow up,144 patients were eventually included in the analysis.The patient’s age,body mass index,infertility etiology,preoperative and postoperative stimulate ovulation cycle,pregnancy state and pregnancy time were recorded.The effect of mini-hysteroscopy on ovulation induction cycle was analyzed in pregnant patients.Results:The average age of 144 patients was 32.10±4.67 years old.96(66.67%)patients were found to have intrauterine abnormalities,while 48(33.33%)patients were found to have normal intrauterine cavity.48 cases of pregnancy,accounting for 33.33%;the median and interquartile ranges[M(Q1,Q3)]of ovulation induction cycles before and after surgery were respectively[3(0,5)],[2(1,3)],the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Among the 48 pregnant patients,32 of them had no structural lesions in hysteroscopy,the ovulation induction cycle of these patients before and after hysteroscopy were respectively[5(0,9)],[1(0,3)],the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:Uterine cavity evaluation is important for the assessments of fertility.As an advanced diagnosis instrument,mini-hysteroscopy can not only timely detect the intrauterine abnormalities of patients,hut also with great application value in shorten the ovulation cycle in infertility patients and increase the pregnancy rate.Luping Zhang Rui Ju Xiangyan Ruan Yinmei Dai Husheng Wang Fengyu Jin Jing Jin Muqing Gu Jiaojiao Cheng Yu Yang Xin Xu Thomas Roemer 2021Global Health Journal2021,5,2:3
7Adaptive-surrogate-based robust optimization of transonic natural laminar flow nacelle显示文摘Natural Laminar Flow(NLF)technology is very effective for reducing the skin friction drag of aircraft engine nacelle,but the aerodynamic performance of NLF nacelle is highly sensitive to uncertain working conditions.Therefore,it’s imperative to incorporate uncertainties into the design of NLF nacelle.In this study,for a robust optimization of NLF nacelle and for improving its efficiency,an adaptive-surrogate-based robust optimization strategy is established,which is an iterative optimization process where the surrogate model is updated to obtain the real Pareto front of multi-objective optimization problem.A case study is carried out to validate its feasibility and effectiveness.The results show that the optimization increases the favorable pressure gradient region and the volume ratio of the nacelle by increasing its lip radius and reducing its maximum diameter.And the aerodynamic robustness of the NLF nacelle is mainly determined by the lip radius,maximum diameter of nacelle and location of the maximum diameter.Compared to the initial nacelle,the optimized nacelle maintains a wide range of low drag and high laminar flow ratio in the disturbance space,which extends the average laminar flow region to 21.6%and facilitates a decrease of 1.98 counts in the average drag coefficient.Yuan YAO Dongli MA Muqing YANG Liang ZHANG Yang GUO 2021Chinese Journal of Aeronautics2021,34,10:2
8Optimization and analysis of winglet configuration for solar aircraft显示文摘Installing winglets can notably improve the aerodynamic performance of solar aircraft.This paper proposes a multi-constraints optimization method of winglets for solar aircraft,aiming to enhance the corresponding uninterrupted cruising capability.An optimization objective function is formed and is separately studied in aerodynamic and structural terms.Qualitative analysis shows that the winglet design parameters are restricted by four special constraints(geometry,aerodynamics,energy and stability)of solar aircraft.The optimization process is constructed on the basis of a multi-island genetic algorithm,and carried out for a 15 m wingspan solar aircraft.Although the designed winglet is not as good as the traditional winglet in terms of drag and structural weight,the designed winglet provides a better 24 h cruising capability.The sensitivity between the objective function and the design parameters is investigated,and the winglet effects vary with respect to the wing aspect ratio(AR=10,15,19.6).The effect of the constraints is analysed quantitatively,and some basic laws are obtained.Moreover,the feasible design region and the possible optimal design parameters of winglets for different wing configurations are explored.The calculation results show that when the aspect ratio exceeds a certain value,the winglets will not benefit the aircraft.Liang ZHANG Dongli MA Muqing YANG Shaoqi WANG 2020Chinese Journal of Aeronautics2020,33,12:2
9Optimizing conditions for bacterial leaching of copper from discarded mines显示文摘The effect of process parameters (pH, pulp density, inoculum volume, ferrous content, particle size) on the rate of coppersolubilization was analyzed respectively through bioleaching tests with mixed bacteria in shake flasks. These results show that theoptimal process parameters are: pH, 1.50-1.80; pulp density, 5wt%; inoculum volume, 10vol%; ferrous content, 2g?L?1; particle size,<0.076 mm. Furthermore, when the pH value is below 1.50 in leaching solution, the iron precipitated can be reduced to a great extent,but it shows low bacterial activity at this pH. 10Identifying genomic regions controlling ratoon stunting disease resistance in sugarcane(Saccharum spp.) clonal F_(1) population显示文摘The ratoon stunting disease (RSD) of sugarcane,caused by the bacterium Leifsonia xyli subsp.xyli,is one of the major concerns to sugarcane production and breeding programs worldwide.Due to no obvious external symptoms,RSD cannot be easily detected by the growers,hence has reduced the world’s sugarcane production significantly.This study aimed to identify quantitative trait loci (QTL) associated with RSD resistance and to assist in the development of linked molecular markers for marker-assisted breeding to minimize the reduction in sugarcane yield by the RSD infection.A set of 146 individuals derived from a self-crossing of CP80-1827 were evaluated for RSD resistance in a mechanically duplicated inoculated field trial from 2014 to 2017 using tissue blot immunoassay.Leveraging the genetic data and the four years phenotyping data of CP80-1827 selfing population,linkage map construction and QTL analysis were conducted based on clonal F_1 and F_2 mapping population types with GACD V.1.2 and Ici Mapping V.3.3,respectively.A total of 23 QTL associated with RSD resistance were identified,which explained 6%to13%of the phenotypic variation with the two types of software.A total of 82 disease resistance genes were identified by searching these 23 QTL regions on their corresponding regions on the Sorghum bicolor genome (44 genes),sugarcane R570 genome (20 genes),and S.spontaneum genome (18 genes),respectively.Compared with Ici Mapping V.3.3,GACD V.1.2 identified more major (6 vs.3) and stable QTL (2vs.0),and more disease resistance genes (51 vs.31),indicating GACD V.1.2 (clonal F_1 mapping type) is most likely to be more efficient than Ici Mapping (F_2 mapping type) for QTL analysis of a sefling population or clonal F_1 population in clonal species.The identified QTL controlling RSD resistance along with the associated SNP markers will assist sugarcane molecular breeding programs in combating this disease.Qian You Sushma Sood Ziliang Luo Hongbo Liu Md.Sariful Islam Muqing Zhang Jianping Wang 2021The Crop Journal2021,9,5:1

13Regulating the radical intermediates by conjugated units in covalent organic frameworks for optimized lithium ion storage显示文摘Organic active units often transform into radical intermediates during the redox processes but exhibit poor cycling stability due to the uncontrollable redox of the radicals. Herein, we report a facile and efficient strategy to modulate the molecular orbital energies, charge transport capacities, and spin electron densities of the active units in covalent organic frameworks(COFs) via regulating the conjugated unit size to optimize the redox activity and stability of the organic radicals. COFs based on different imide conjugated units exhibit tunable discharge voltages, rate performance and cycling stabilities. Detailed characterizations and theoretical calculation reveal that imide radicals are the important active intermediates during the redox processes of these COFs. Specifically, increasing the size of the imide conjugated units could effectively delocalize the radical electrons and improve the stability of the COFs electrodes. 15Optimization and analysis of composite sandwich box beam for solar drones显示文摘Solar drones have garnered considerably research attention in recent years due to their continuous cruising capability,and the feasibility of design schemes is sensitive to the weight of structure.Sandwich box beam composed of carbon fiber and polymethacrylimide(PMI)foam is conducive to realize the lightweight of structure.In this study,a two-stage optimization design methodology for sandwich box beam is proposed.This methodology is primarily based on a low-order analytical method for evaluating stress/deflection and the linear buckling analysis method combined with experimental correction factor for predicting the buckling eigenvalues.Subsequently,a case study was conducted using an 18-m wingspan solar drone,where the results of mechanical test verified the optimization results.For validating the use of sandwich box beam in solar drones of other scales,additional analysis was conducted based on three aspects:(A)effects of stiffness and stability constraints on the design of sandwich box beam;(B)crucial role of the weight of foam inter layer and application scope of sandwich box beam;(C)best method to improve the buckling eigenvalue of sandwich box beam.Overall,the methodology and general rules presented in this paper can support the design of light wing beam for solar drones.Liang ZHANG Dongli MA Muqing YANG Xinglu XIA Yuan YAO 2021Chinese Journal of Aeronautics2021,34,10:1
16Research on linear/nonlinear viscous damping and hysteretic damping in nonlinear vibration isolation systems显示文摘A nonlinear vibration isolation system is promising to provide a high-efficient broadband isolation performance.In this paper,a generalized vibration isolation system is established with nonlinear stiffness,nonlinear viscous damping,and Bouc-Wen(BW)hysteretic damping.An approximate analytical analysis is performed based on a harmonic balance method(HBM)and an alternating frequency/time(AFT)domain technique.To evaluate the damping effect,a generalized equivalent damping ratio is defined with the stiffness-varying characteristics.A comprehensive comparison of different kinds of damping is made through numerical simulations.It is found that the damping ratio of the linear damping is related to the stiffness-varying characteristics while the damping ratios of two kinds of nonlinear damping are related to the responding amplitudes.The linear damping,hysteretic damping,and nonlinear viscous damping are suitable for the small-amplitude,medium-amplitude,and large-amplitude conditions,respectively.The hysteretic damping has an extra advantage of broadband isolation.Zhong ZHANG Muqing NIU Kai YUAN Yewei ZHANG 2020Applied Mathematics and Mechanics(English Edition)2020,41,7:1
17Correlativity between blood measures related to blood stasis blocking collaterals and gene expression of angiotensin-converting enzyme of renal cortex in diabetic rats and effect of stasis removing and collaterals dredging显示文摘OBJECTIVE: To investigate the correlativity between the changes of blood measures related to blood stasis blocking collaterals and gene expression levels of angiotensin-converting enzyme(ACE)and ACE2 ofrenal cortex in diabetic rats with stasis blocking collaterals syndrome, as well as the effectof stasis removing and collaterals dredging.METHODS: Male Sprague-Dawley rats were divided randomly into normal control group(C group),high-carbohydrate-fat control group(H group) and streptozotocin(STZ)-injecting group. The diabeticrats were induced from rats in the STZ-injecting groupby high-carbohydrate-fat diet combined with STZ intraperitoneal injection, with sustained high-carbohydrate-fat diet fed afterwards, and were further divided into model group(M group)and Chinese medicine of stasis removing and collaterals dredging group(Z group). Rats in the Z group were fed with stasis-removing-and-collaterals-dredging herbal granule suspension intragastrically daily for 16 weeks, while drinking water of corresponding volume was administrated to the rats in other groups. At the end of the 16 th week after successful establishment of models, the ultrastructures of glomeruli in different groups were detected by a transmission electron microscopy; and blood measures related to blood stasis blocking collaterals, including lipid profile and blood viscosity measures, were tested, as well as the relative gene expressions of ACE and ACE2.RESULTS: Changes in ultrastructures of glomeruli in the M group were characterized by lack of clarity in structure and occasional thickening of glomerular basement membrane and extensive fusion in foot processes. The correlation analysis showed that there were positive correlations between lipid profile, blood viscosity, and the ACE mRNA expression levels in the M group(P<0.05), except for cholesterol. And except for triglyceride, the blood measures were in negative correlation with the ACE2 mRNA expression levels in the M group(P<0.05).Compared with the C and H groups, the lipid profile, plasma viscosity and blood viscosity were significantly higher(P<0.01). All the above-mentioned measures were significantly improved in the Z group rats(P<0.05). ACE mRNA expression was significantly higher in the M group thanin the C group(P<0.05). ACE2 mRNA level was significantly lower in the M group than in the C and H groups(P<0.01)and its levelin the Z group was higher than that in the M group(P<0.01).CONCLUSION: Blood measuresrelated to blood stasis blocking collaterals had positive linear correlations with ACE mRNAexpression and negative linear correlations with ACE2 mRNA expression in the M group. 18A gap-free and haplotype-resolved lemon genome provides insights into flavor synthesis and huanglongbing (HLB) tolerance显示文摘The lemon(Citrus limon;family Rutaceae)is one of the most important and popular fruits worldwide.Lemon also tolerates huan-glongbing(HLB)disease,which is a devastating citrus disease.Here we produced a gap-free and haplotype-resolved chromosome-scale genome assembly of the lemon by combining Pacific Biosciences circular consensus sequencing,Oxford Nanopore 50-kb ultra-long,and high-throughput chromatin conformation capture technologies.The assembly contained nine-pair chromosomes with a contig N50 of 35.6 Mb and zero gaps,while a total of 633.0 Mb genomic sequences were generated.The origination analysis identified 338.5Mb genomic sequences originating from citron(53.5%),147.4Mb frommandarin(23.3%),and 147.1Mb frompummelo(23.2%).The genome included 30528 protein-coding genes,and most of the assembled sequences were found to be repetitive sequences.Several significantly expanded gene families were associated with plant-pathogen interactions,plant hormone signal transduction,and the biosynthesis of major active components,such as terpenoids and f lavor compounds.Most HLB-tolerant genes were expanded in the lemon genome,such as 2-oxoglutarate(2OG)/Fe(II)-dependent oxygenase and constitutive disease resistance 1,cell wall-related genes,and lignin synthesis genes.Comparative transcriptomic analysis showed that phloem regeneration and lower levels of phloem plugging are the elements that contribute to HLB tolerance in lemon.Our results provide insight into lemon genome evolution,active component biosynthesis,and genes associated with HLB tolerance.Yixue Bao Ziyan Zeng Wei Yao Xiao Chen Mengwei Jiang Akbar Sehrish Bo Wu Charles A.Powell Baoshan Chen Jianlong Xu Xingtan Zhang Muqing Zhang 2023Horticulture Research2023,10,4:0
19Manganese toxicity-induced chlorosis in sugarcane seedlings involves inhibition of chlorophyll biosynthesis显示文摘Manganese(Mn)toxicity-induced leaf chlorosis limits crop production in acidic soils,but its underlying mechanisms remain unknown.The effects of excessive Mn on chlorophyll(Chl)biosynthesis in sugarcane(Saccharum officinarum L.)leaves were investigated.Under Mn treatment,Chl concentration decreased with Mn accumulation and chlorosis appeared in expanding leaves.Before that,levels of the initial Chl precursor 5-aminolevulinic acid(ALA)and its downstream intermediates decreased,whereas magnesium-protoporphyrin IX monomethyl ester(MgPME)accumulated.Overaccumulation of Mn in leaves downregulated the ALA biosynthetic gene GluTR(encoding glutamyl-tRNA reductase)and MgPME conversion gene MgPMEC(encoding MgPME cyclase),upregulated the ALA biosynthesis inhibitor FLU(encoding FLUORESCENT),but had no significant effect on the expression of other Chl biosynthetic genes.The above Mn-induced changes of Chl precursors and expression of corresponding genes commenced before the Chl decline and leaf chlorosis,and were reversed by ALA supplementation.Thus,excessive Mn-induced chlorosis in sugarcane is mediated by a Chl-biosynthesis disorder resulting from the inhibition of ALA synthesis and MgPME conversion.Shu Yang Guizhi Ling Qiuyue Li Ke Yi Xinlian Tang Muqing Zhang Xiaofeng Li 2022The Crop Journal2022,10,6:0
20Sequence analysis of Erianthus arundinaceus chromosome 1 isolated by flow sorting after genomic in situ hybridization in suspension显示文摘Erianthus arundinaceus is a wild relative of sugarcane(Saccharum officinarum L.)with many desirable agronomic traits for sugarcane genetic improvement.However,limited knowledge of the complex genome of hexaploid E.arundinaceus has impeded the development of required molecular tools.Dissecting complex genomes into single chromosomes can simplify analyses.The flow-cytometric sorting of a single chromosome of E.arundinaceus in a Saccharum-Erianthus introgression line is reported.A novel approach called genomic in situ hybridization in suspension was used to discriminate the alien chromosome from sugarcane chromosomes at the same size.A total of 218,000 E.arundinaceus chromosome 1(EaC1)were sorted to>97%purity and amplified DNA was sequenced using Illumina and Pac Bio technologies.The resulting assembly had a 70.93 Mb contig sequence with an N50 of 19.62 kb.A total of 56.69 Mb repeat sequences were predicted,accounting for 79.1%of the chromosome and 2646 genes having a total length of 1.84 Mb that represented 2.59%of the chromosome.Of these genes,1877(70.9%)genes were functionally annotated.The phylogenetic relationship of E.arundinaceus with other species using the chromosome1 sequence revealed that E.arundinaceus was distantly related to Oryza sativa and Zea mays,followed by Sorghum bicolor,and was closely related to S.spontaneum and Saccharum spp.hybrids.This study provides the first insights into the characteristics of EaC1,and the results will provide tools to support molecular improvement and alien introgression breeding of sugarcane.Shan Yang Petr Cápal Jaroslav Dolezel Xueting Li Wang Qian Zhiqiang Wang Kai Zeng Peiting Li Hongkai Zhou Rui Xia Muqing Zhang Zuhu Deng 2022The Crop Journal2022,10,6:0
