| 1 | Helicobacter pylori associated chronic gastritis,clinical syndromes,precancerous lesions,and pathogenesis of gastric cancer development显示文摘Helicobacter pylori(H.pylori)infection is well known to be associated with the development of precancerous lesions such as chronic atrophic gastritis(AG),or gastric intestinal metaplasia(GIM),and cancer.Various molecular alterations are identified not only in gastric cancer(GC)but also in precancerous lesions.H.pylori treatment seems to improve AG and GIM,but still remains controversial.In contrast,many studies,including meta-analysis,show that H.pylori eradication reduces GC.Molecular markers detected by genetic and epigenetic alterations related to carcinogenesis reverse following H.pylori eradication.This indicates that these changes may be an important factor in the identification of high risk patients for cancer development.Patients who underwent endoscopic treatment of GC are at high risk for development of metachronous GC.A randomized controlled trial from Japan concluded that prophylactic eradication of H.pylori after endoscopic resection should be used to prevent the development of metachronous GC,but recent retrospective studies did not show the tendency.Patients with precancerous lesions(molecular alterations)that do not reverse after H.pylori treatment,represent the'point of no return'and may be at high risk for the development of GC.Therefore,earlier H.pylori eradication should be considered for preventing GC development prior to the appearance of precancerous lesions. | Jiro Watari Nancy Chen Peter S Amenta Hirokazu Fukui Tadayuki Oshima Toshihiko Tomita Hiroto Miwa Kheng-Jim Lim Kiron M Das | 2014 | World Journal of Gastroenterology2014，20，18： | 60 |

| 3 | Multi-isotopic system geochronology of low temperature eclogite from Huangzhen,Southern Dabie Terrain显示文摘Zircon U-Pb thermal ionization mass-spectrometer (TIMS) and secondary ion mass-spectrometer (SIMS) dating, mica and amphibole 40Ar-39Ar dating and mineral Sm-Nd isotopic compositions of Huangzhen low temperature eclogite and country granitic gneiss are carried out. The zircon U-Pb weighted average SIMS age is (231.6±9.7) Ma for one eclogite. The mica Ar-39Ar isochron age is (232.6±2.1) Ma and the lowest plateau age is (221.7±2.4) 40 Ma from same sample. U-Pb TIMS concordant ages from other eclogite zircons are from (221.3 ±1.4) Ma to (222.5±2.3) Ma. U-Pb SIMS low intercept age from country granitic gneiss is (221 ±35) Ma. The retrograde amphibole Ar-39Ar isochron age is (205.9±1.0) Ma. Except for mica, 40 which may contain excess Ar, all the ages represent peak and retrograde metamorphism of low 40 temperature eclogites. It is indicated that the Huangzhen low temperature eclogites differ from Xiongdian low temperature eclogites of north of the Northern Dabie Terrain in metamorphic ages. Huangzhen low temperature eclogites share one coherent HP-UHP terrain with high temperature eclogites from Southern Dabie Terrain and they may have differences in subduction depth and cooling rates during exhumation. | CHEN Daogong1, E. | 5 | High salt diet accelerates the progression of murine lupus through dendritic cells via the p38 MAPK and STAT1 signaling pathways显示文摘The increased incidence of systemic lupus erythematosus(SLE)in recent decades might be related to changes in modern dietary habits.Since sodium chloride(NaCl)promotes pathogenic T cell responses,we hypothesize that excessive salt intake contributes to the increased incidence of autoimmune diseases,including SLE.Given the importance of dendritic cells(DCs)in the pathogenesis of SLE,we explored the influence of an excessive sodium chloride diet on DCs in a murine SLE model.We used an induced lupus model in which bone marrow-derived dendritic cells(BMDCs)were incubated with activated lymphocyte-derived DNA(ALD-DNA)and transferred into C57BL/6 recipient mice.We observed that a high-salt diet(HSD)markedly exacerbated lupus progression,which was accompanied by increased DC activation.NaCl treatment also stimulated the maturation,activation and antigenpresenting ability of DCs in vitro.Pretreatment of BMDCs with NaCl also exacerbated BMDC-ALD-DNA-induced lupus.These mice had increased production of autoantibodies and proinflammatory cytokines,more pronounced splenomegaly and lymphadenopathy,and enhanced pathological renal lesions.The p38 MAPK–STAT1 pathway played an important role in NaClinduced DC immune activities.Taken together,our results demonstrate that HSD intake promotes immune activation of DCs through the p38 MAPK–STAT1 signaling pathway and exacerbates the features of SLE.Thus,changes in diet may provide a novel strategy for the prevention or amelioration of lupus or other autoimmune diseases. | Ze Xiu Xiao Xiaojiang Hu Ximei Zhang Zhigang Chen Julie Wang Ke Jin Feng Lin Cao Baoqing Sun Joseph A.Bellanti Nancy Olsen Song Guo Zheng | 2020 | Signal Transduction and Targeted Therapy2020，5，1： | 6 |

| 7 | Primer containing dimethylaminododecyl methacrylate kills bacteria impregnated in human dentin blocks显示文摘Antibacterial dimethylaminododecyl methacrylate(DMADDM) was recently synthesized. The objectives of this study were to:(1)investigate antibacterial activity of DMADDM-containing primer on Streptococcus mutans impregnated into dentin blocks for the first time, and(2) compare the antibacterial efficacy of DMADDM with a previous quaternary ammonium dimethacrylate(QADM).Scotchbond Multi-Purpose(SBMP) bonding agent was used. DMADDM and QADM were mixed into SBMP primer. Six primers were tested: SBMP control primer P, P+2.5% DMADDM, P+5% DMADDM, P+7.5% DMADDM, P+10% DMADDM, and P+10% QADM.S. mutans were impregnated into human dentin blocks, and each primer was applied to dentin to test its ability to kill bacteria in dentinal tubules. Bacteria in dentin were collected via a sonication method, and the colony-forming units(CFU) and inhibition zones were measured. The bacterial inhibition zone of P+10% DMADDM was 10 times that of control primer(Po0.05). CFU in dentin with P+10% DMADDM was reduced by three orders of magnitude, compared with control. DMADDM had a much stronger antibacterial effect than QADM, and antibacterial efficacy increased with increasing DMADDM concentration. Dentin shear bond strengths were similar among all groups(P40.1). In conclusion, antibacterial DMADDM-containing primer was validated to kill bacteria inside dentin blocks, possessing a much stronger antibacterial potency than the previous QADM. DMADDM-containing bonding agent was effective in eradicating bacteria in dentin, and its efficacy was directly proportional to DMADDM mass fraction. | 9 | TGF-β-induced CD4+FoxP3+regulatory T cell-derived extracellular vesicles modulate Notch1 signaling through miR-449a and prevent collagen-induced arthritis in a murine model显示文摘CD4^(+)FOXP3^(+)Treg cells are central to the maintenance of self-tolerance and can be defective in autoimmunity.In autoimmune rheumatic diseases,dysfunctional self-tolerance,is to a large extent,caused by insufficient Treg-cell activity.Although nTregs have therapeutic effects in vivo,their relative scarcity and slow rate of in vitro expansion hinder the application of nTreg therapy.It was previously reported that EVs contribute significantly to the suppressive function of FOXP3^(+)Treg cells.Considering that the stability and plasticity of nTregs remain major challenges in vivo,we established EVs derived from in vitro TGF-β-induced Treg cells(iTreg-EVs)and assessed their functions in a murine model of autoimmune arthritis.The results demonstrated that iTreg-EVs preferentially homed to the pathological joint and efficiently prevented the imbalance in Th17/Treg cells in arthritic mice.Furthermore,we found that miR-449a-5p mediated Notch1 expression modulation and that miR-449a-5p knockdown abolished the effects of iTreg-EVs on effector T cells and regulatory T cells in vitro and in vivo.Taken together,our results show that iTreg-EVs control the inflammatory responses of recipient T cells through miR-449a-5p-dependent modulation of Notch1 and ameliorate the development and severity of arthritis,which may provide a potential cell-free strategy based on manipulating iTreg-EVs to prevent autoimmune arthritis. | Jingrong Chen Feng Huang Yuluan Hou Xiaorong Lin Rongzhen Liang Xiaojiang Hu Jun Zhao Julie Wang Nancy Olsen Song Guo Zheng | 2021 | Cellular & Molecular Immunology2021，18，11： | 2 |
