| 1 | Simultaneous Screening of 733 Pesticide Residues in Fruits and Vegetables by a GC/LC-Q-TOFMS Combination Technique显示文摘In this paper,we report the construction of two accurate mass databases and the development of a combination detection method that simultaneously screens for 733 pesticide and chemical contaminant multi-residues via high-throughput liquid chromatography(LC)-and gas chromatography(GC)-quadru pole-time-of-flight mass spectrometry(Q-TOFMS).This work demonstrates that electronic mass spectral standards may replace chemical-source standard materials as references through one sample preparation and the combination of GC/LC-Q-TOFMS screening.This cutting-edge technique has also replaced multiresidue determination using targeted detection with non-targeted screening.The pesticide residue types,sensitivity,recovery,and reproducibility of this combination technique are evaluated in eight fruit and vegetable matrices.This technique shows three advantages:①In comparison with the discovery capability of a single technique,the combination technique shows an improvement of 51.1%(GC-QTOFMS)and 39.6%(LC-Q-TOFMS),respectively;②the combination technique can satisfy a screening limit lower than 10μg·kg^-1 and meet the requirements of“uniform standards,”although some of the pesticide residues could be optimized to further improve screening sensitivity;③over 488 pesticides with recoveries between 60%-120%and relative standard deviation(RSD)<20%at a spiked level of 10μg·kg^-1 were detected with the combination technique in eight different matrices.From 2012 to 2017,this combination technique was applied in an investigation to screen pesticide residues from 1384 sampling locations for 38138 batched samples covering 18 categories and 134 types of fruits and vegetables obtained from across the mainland of China.After statistical analysis,533 pesticides in 115891 determinations were detected,and the regularity of pesticides in the fruits and vegetables sold on the Chinese market was shown. | Guofang Pang Qiaoying Chang Ruobin Bai Chunlin Fan Zijuan Zhang Hongyuan Yan Xingqiang Wu | 2020 | Engineering2020,6,4: | 11 |
| 2 | APOE and APOC1 gene polymorphisms are associated with cognitive impairment progression in Chinese patients with late-onset Alzheimer's disease显示文摘Current evidence shows that apolipoprotein E(APOE), apolipoprotein CI(APOC1) and low density lipoprotein receptor-related protein(LRP) variations are related to late-onset Alzheimer's disease. However, it remains unclear if genetic polymorphisms in these genes are associated with cognitive decline in late-onset Alzheimer's disease patients. We performed a 30-month longitudinal cohort study to investigate the relationship between Alzheimer's disease and APOE, APOC1, and LRP. In this study, 78 Chinese Han patients with late-onset Alzheimer's disease were recruited form Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region in China. APOE, APOC1, and LRP genotyping was performed using polymerase chain reaction-restriction fragment length polymorphisms. The Mini-Mental State Examination and Clinical Dementia Rating Scale were used to assess patients' cognitive function. After a 30-month follow-up period, we found a significant reduction in Mini-Mental State Examination total score, a higher proportion of patients fulfilling cognitive impairment progression criteria, and a higher proportion of APOC1 H2 carriers in APOE ε4 carriers compared with non-carriers. In addition, the APOE ε4 allele frequency was significantly higher in the cognitive impairment progression group compared with the non-cognitive impairment progression group. | 18 | A novel nomogram based on routine clinical indicators for screening for Wilson's disease显示文摘Background and aims:There is currently no single model for predicting Wilson's disease(WD).We aimed to create a nomogram using daily clinical parameters to improve the accuracy of WD diagnosis in patients with abnormal liver function.Methods:Between July 2016 and December 2020,we identified 90 WD patients with abnormal liver function who had homozygous or compound heterozygous mutations in the ATP7B gene.The control group included 128 patients with similar liver function but no WD during the same time period.To create a nomogram,we screened potential predictive variables using the least absolute shrinkage and selection operator model and multivariate logistic regression.Results:We developed a nomogram for screening for WD based on six predictive factors:serum copper,direct bilirubin,uric acid,cholinesterase,prealbumin,and reticulocyte percentage.In the training cohort,the area under curve(AUC)of the nomogram reached 0.967(95%confidence interval(CI)0.946e0.988),while the area under the precision-recall curve was 0.961.Based on the optimal cutpoint of 213.55,our nomogram performed well,with a sensitivity of 96%and a specificity of 87%.In the validation cohort,the AUC of the nomogram was as high as 0.991(95%CI 0.970e1.000).Conclusions:We developed a nomogram that can predict the risk of WD prior to the detection of serum ceruloplasmin or urinary copper,greatly increasing screening efficiency for patients with abnormal liver function. | Jiahui Pang Shuru Chen Weiqiang Gan Guofang Tang Yusheng Jie Zhanyi Li Yutian Chong Youming Chen Jiao Gong Xinhua Li Yongyu Mei | 2023 | Liver Research2023,7,1: | 0 |
