| 1 | Increased leptin by hypoxic-preconditioning promotes autophagy of mesenchymal stem cells and protects them from apoptosis显示文摘Autophagy is the basic catabolic progress involved in cell degradation of unnecessary or dysfunctional cellular components.It has been proven that autophagy could be utilized for cell survival under stresses.Hypoxic-preconditioning(HPC)could reduce apoptosis induced by ischemia and hypoxia/serum deprivation(H/SD)in bone marrow-derived mesenchymal stem cells(BMSCs).Previous studies have shown that both leptin signaling and autophagy activation were involved in the protection against apoptosis induced by various stress,including ischemia-reperfusion.However,it has never been fully understood how leptin was involved in the protective effects conferred by autophagy.In the present study,we demonstrated that HPC can induce autophagy in BMSCs by increased LC3-II/LC3-I ratio and autophagosome formation.Interestingly,similar effects were also observed when BMSCs were pretreated with rapamycin.The beneficial effects offered by HPC were absent when BMSCs were incubated with autophagy inhibitor,3-methyladenine(3-MA).In addition,down-regulated leptin expression by leptin-shRNA also attenuated HPC-induced autophagy in BMSCs,which in turn was associated with increased apoptosis after exposed to sustained H/SD.Furthermore,increased AMP-activated protein kinase phosphorylation and decreased mammalian target of rapamycin phosphorylation that were observed in HPC-treated BMSCs can also be attenuated by down-regulation of leptin expression.Our data suggests that leptin has impact on HPC-induced autophagy in BMSCs which confers protection against apoptosis under H/SD,possibly through modulating both AMPK and mTOR pathway. | WANG LiHan HU XinYang ZHU Wei JIANG Zhi ZHOU Yu CHEN PanPan WANG JianAn | 2014 | Science China(Life Sciences)2014,57,2: | 8 |

| 3 | Purification of starch and phosphorus wastewater using core-shell magnetic seeds prepared by sulfated roasting显示文摘Core-shell magnetic seeds with certain adsorption capacity that were prepared by sulfated roasting, served as the core of a magnetic separation technology for purification of starch wastewater. XRD and SEM results indicate that magnetite's surface transformed to be porous α-Fe_2O_3 structure. Compared with magnetite particles, the specific surface area was significantly improved to be 8.361 from 2.591 m^2/g, with little decrease in specific susceptibility. Zeta potential, FT-IR and XPS experiments indicate that both phosphate and starch adsorbed on the surface of the core-shell magnetic seeds by chemical adsorption, which fits well with the Langmuir adsorption model. | 4 | Flow characteristics of tangential leakage in a scroll compressor for automobile heat pump with CO_(2)显示文摘Tangential leakage loss reduction has great significance on improving the performance of scroll compressors.In this study,the flow field of a scroll compressor working with CO_(2) was numerically investigated.The development characteristics of the tangential leakage flow in different working chambers were carried out,which was obtained by analyzing the field quantities distributions.The impacts of the radial clearances and sidewall roughness on the tangential leakage were also taken into consideration,in order to explore the feasible method of the flow control for the tangential leakage in scroll compressors.Results showed that the tangential leakage flow had various characteristics in the suction and compression chambers due to the different interactions between the tangential leakage flow and mainstream.Owing to little reverse pressure gradient,the tangential leakage flow maintained the typical jet form in the suction chambers.By contrast,the mixing of the tangential leakage flow and mainstream induced the passage vortex and secondary flows in the compression chamber.The secondary flow was the primary factor that results in the occurrence of localized high temperature region rather than the tangential leakage.With the increase of the radial clearance,the volumetric efficiency declined and the discharge temperature increased rapidly.In terms of flow control of the tangential leakage,the increase of sidewall roughness by 2μm could achieve the same effect as the decrease of the radial clearance by 4μm,while the volumetric efficiency increased by almost 5%and average discharge temperature decreased by 5K. | ZHENG SiYu WEI MingShan HU ChenXing SONG PanPan TIAN Ran | 2021 | Science China(Technological Sciences)2021,64,5: | 4 |
| 5 | Geochemistry of arsenic and selenium in a Ge-poor coal from the Wulantuga coal-hosted Ge ore deposit,Inner Mongolia,North China显示文摘This paper reports new data for arsenic(As)and selenium(Se)in a total of twelve bench samples of Ge-rich and Ge-poor coals in the No.6 coal seam from the Wulantuga ore deposit,Inner Mongolia,Northeastern China.The Gepoor coals are characterized by low-ash(with a weighted average ash yield 10.59%).The coal samples were digested using an UltraClave microwave high pressure reactor(milestone)and trace elements were detected by inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry—collision/reaction cell technology,a reliable method for As and Se determination in coal samples.The contents of As and Se in the Ge-poor(with a weighted average content of 9.14 and 0.30 lg/g,respectively)and Ge-rich coal samples in the present study(varies from 16.88 to 17,776 lg/g and from 0.26 to 14.39 lg/g,respectively)are in a sharp contrast.The As in the Ge-poor coals is of both organic-and pyrite-associations,and its enrichment is attributed to the sediment source,and to a lesser extent,to hydrothermal fluids.Se is predominantly connected with organic matter in the Wulantuga Ge-poor coals. | Panpan Xie Qingqian Li Jingjing Liu Hongjian Song Jianpeng Wei | 2014 | International Journal of Coal Science & Technology2014,1,4: | 3 |
| 6 | Experimental study of a micro-scale solar organic Rankine cycle system based on compound cylindrical Fresnel lens solar concentrator显示文摘In the present study, a micro-scale solar organic Rankine cycle power generation system was developed. The system comprises of a solar collection system based on compound cylindrical Fresnel lens concentrator and an organic Rankine cycle power generation system integrated with a scroll expander. YD320 and R245 fa were used as the heat transfer fluid and the working fluid, respectively. The effects of the evaporation pressure, the degree of superheat, and the mass flow rate of the working fluid were analyzed to evaluate the solar collection efficiency, the electric power output, the thermal efficiency and exergy efficiency of the system. The results illustrate that both the increasing evaporation pressure and decreasing superheat degree have positive impacts on solar collection efficiency. The electric power increases as the evaporation pressure increases, while the thermal efficiency and the exergy efficiency decrease. However, the system overall efficiency decreases slowly due to the increase of solar collection efficiency. The electric power increases with the increment of the working fluid mass flow rate. The increasing mass flow rate has no visible impact on the thermal and exergy efficiencies of organic Rankine cycle subsystem, whereas a slightly increase of the thermal and exergy efficiencies of the integrated system. The electric power decreases with the increase of the superheat degree, whereas the thermal and the exergy efficiencies of the system increase. | 7 | Incidence of Macrosomia in Rural Areas—Henan Province,China,2013–2017显示文摘Introduction:Macrosomia has short-term and long-term adverse health effects and is thus an important public health concern.Recent decades have witnessed increasing incidence of macrosomia in many countries.Methods:The present study used a large population-based birth cohort study to depict incidence of macrosomia among live births in rural areas of Henan Province of China from 2013 to 2017.Results:Among the 1,262,916 births,82,353 were cases of macrosomia.The overall incidence of all types of macrosomia,of macrosomia with birth weight<4,500 g,and of macrosomia with birth weight≥4,500 g were 6.52%,5.30%,and 1.22%,respectively.From 2013 to 2017,the incidence of macrosomia decreased by 31.3%from 7.96%in 2013 to 5.47%in 2017(X^(2)_(trend)=946.96,P_(trend)<0.001).Male infants and infants≥42 gestational weeks had significantly higher incidence of macrosomia than that of female infants and infants<42 gestational weeks(P<0.001).Conclusion:Gestational weight control through nutrition management and physical activities during pregnancy are needed to reduce incidence of macrosomia. | Shiqi Lin Jian Chai Jiajia Li Xuejun Shang Lijun Pei Lifang Jiang Junxi Zhang Panpan Sun Wei Dong Yuhong Wang Dezhuan Zhou | 2021 | China CDC weekly2021,3,37: | 3 |

| 11 | Rational construction and decoration of Li_(5)Cr_(7)Ti_(6)O_(25)@Cnanofibers as stable lithium storage materials显示文摘Li_(5)Cr_(7)Ti_(6)O_(25) is regarded as a promising anode material for Li-ion batteries(LIBs)because of its low cost and high theoretical capacity.However,the inherently poor conductivity significantly limits the enhancement of its rate capability and cycling stability,especially at high current densities.In this work,we construct one-dimensional Li_(5)Cr_(7)Ti_(6)O_(25)/C nanofibers by electrospinning method to enhance the kinetic,which realizes high cycling stability.Carbon coating enhances the structure stability,insertion/extraction reversibility of Li-ions and electrochemical reaction activity,and facilitates the transfer of Li-ions.Benefited from the unique architecture and component,the Li_(5)Cr_(7)Ti_(6)O_(25)/C(6.6 wt%)nanofiber shows an excellent rate capability with a reversible de-lithiation capacity of 370.8,290.6,269.2,254.3 and 244.9 m Ah g^(-1) at 200,300,500,800 and 1000 m A g^(-1),respectively.Even at a higher current density of 1 A g^(-1),Li_(5)Cr_(7)Ti_(6)O_(25)/C(6.6 wt%)nanofiber shows high cycling stability with an initial de-lithiation capacity of 237.8 m Ah g^(-1) and a capacity retention rate of about 84%after 500 cycles.The density functional theory calculation result confirms that the introduction of carbon on the surface of Li_(5)Cr_(7)Ti_(6)O_(25) changes the total density of states of Li_(5)Cr_(7)Ti_(6)O_(25),and thus improves electronic conductivity of the composite,resulting in a good electrochemical performance of Li_(5)Cr_(7)Ti_(6)O_(25)/C nanofibers.Li_(5)Cr_(7)Ti_(6)O_(25)/C nanofibers indicate a great potential as an anode material for the next generation of high-performance LIBs. | Ting-Ting Wei Panpan Peng Yu-Rui Ji Yan-Rong Zhu Ting-Feng Yi Ying Xie | 2022 | Journal of Energy Chemistry2022,31,8: | 1 |
| 12 | Layered CuNi-Cu_(2)O/NiAlO_(x) nanocatalyst for rapid conversion of p-nitrophenol to p-aminophenol显示文摘In order to well arrange active sites and avoid byproducts, the reasonable structured carrier nanocatalyst plays a crucial role in high catalytic performance, but still remains a challenge. Herein, the layered CuNi-Cu_(2)O/NiAlO_(x) nanosheets have been constructed through hydrothermal synthesis followed by calcination and H_(2) reduction treatment process. The in-situ formed CuNi nanoalloys (NAs) and nano-Cu_(2)O were evenly distributed on the bilateral surface of layered NiAlOx nanosheets. Based on the planar structure of nanosheet, the synergy between catalytic active CuNi NAs and photocatalytic active nano-Cu_(2)O endows CuNi-Cu_(2)O/NiAlO_(x) nanosheets with rapid conversion efficiency for catalyzing p-nitrophenol (p-NP, 14 mg·L^(−1)) to p-aminophenol (p-AP) in 32 s with the reaction rate constant k up to 0.1779 s−1, and no obvious performance decay can be observed even over 27 cycles. Moreover, high concentration of p-NP at 10 and 20 g·L^(−1) could be reduced to p-AP within 14 and 20 min, respectively.
