1Achieving maximum power transfer of inductively coupled wireless power transfer system based on dynamic tuning control显示文摘As an emerging research field,inductively coupled wireless power transfer(ICWPT) technology has attracted wide spread attention recently.In this paper,the maximum power transfer performances of four basic topologies labeled as SS,SP,PS and PP are investigated.By modeling the equivalent circuits of these topologies in high frequency(HF),the primary resonance compensation capacitances for maximum power transfer capability are deduced.It is found that these capacitances fluctuate with load resistance change,which is disadvantageous to SP,PS and PP topologies and an obstacle to their practical applications as well.To solve this problem,a phase controlled inductor circuit is proposed.By adjusting the triggering angle,the real-time dynamic tuning control can be achieved to guarantee maximum power transfer.Finally,simulations and experiments show that the proposed method is of great effectiveness and reliability to solve the issue of resonance compensation capacitance fluctuation with load change and to guarantee the flexible applications of all topologies.QIANG Hao HUANG XueLiang TAN LinLin JI QingJing ZHAO JiaMing 2012Science China(Technological Sciences)2012,55,7:23
2High pulse energy fiber/solid-slab hybrid picosecond pulse system for material processing on polycrystalline diamonds显示文摘We demonstrate an all polarization-maintaining(PM) fiber mode-locked laser seeded, hybrid fiber/solid-slab picosecond pulse laser system which outputs 40 μJ, 10 ps pulses at the central wavelength of 1064 nm. The beam quality factors M2 in the unstable and stable directions are 1.35 and 1.31, respectively. 15 μJ picosecond pulses at the central wavelength of 355 nm are generated through third harmonic generation(THG) by using two Li B3 O5(LBO) crystals, in order to get better processing efficiency on polycrystalline diamonds. The high pulse energy and beam quality of these ultraviolet(UV) picosecond pulses are confirmed by latter experiments of material processing on polycrystalline diamonds. 3A Modified Gravity p-Median Model for Optimizing Facility Locations显示文摘The gravity p-median model is an important improvement to the widely-used p-median model. However, there is still a debate on its validity in empirical applications. Previous studies even doubt the significance of the gravity p-median model. Using a case study of tertiary hospitals in Shenzhen, China, this study re-examines the difference between the gravity p-median model with the p-median model, by decomposing the difference between the two models into gravity rule and variant attraction. This study also proposes a modified gravity p-median model by incorporating a distance threshold. The empirical results support the validity of the gravity p-median model, and also reveal that only when the attractions of candidate facility locations are variable will the gravity p-median model lead to different results with the p-median model. The difference between the modified gravity p-median model and the gravity p-median model is also examined. Moreover, the impacts of the distance-decay parameter and distance threshold on solutions are investigated. Results indicate that a larger distance-decay parameter tends to result in a more dispersed distribution of optimal facilities and a smaller average travel time, and a smaller distance threshold can better promote the spatial equity of facilities. 6Retrorsine Cooperates with Gut Microbiota to Promote Hepatic Sinusoidal Obstruction Syndrome by Disrupting the Gut Barrier显示文摘Background and Aims:Hepatic sinusoidal obstruction syndrome(HSOS)is a life-threatening syndrome,and a cause is exposure to pyrrolizidine alkaloid(PA)-containing products.It is well-established that retrorsine(RTS),a rep-resentative Pas,insults hepatic sinusoidal endothelial cells and ensues congestion of hepatic sinusoids.However,little known about the impact of Pas on gut microbiota and intesti-nal barrier and inflammation in HSOS.Methods:Mice were gavaged with or without nonabsorbable antibiotics(ABX),followed by a single dose of RTS.The gut microbiota was examined by 16S rDNA sequencing.Results:ABX pretreat-ment significantly reversed RTS-induced liver damage.RTS altered gut microbiota composition,increasing Gram-nega-tive bacteria and resulting in a sharp elevation of circulating lipopolysaccharides(LPS)in HSOS mice.Gut decontamina-tion with ABX alleviated RTS-induced intestine inflamma-tion,protected against disruption of the intestinal epithelial barrier and gut vascular barrier(GVB),and suppressed he-patic LPS-NF-κB pathway activation in RTS-induced HSOS.Importantly,the LPS level was positively correlated with MELD score in patients with HSOS.Elevated LPS in patients with HSOS confirmed that Gram-negative bacteria were in-volved in the pathogenesis of HSOS.Conclusions:RTS,a PA,cooperated with gut dysbiosis to cause intestinal inflam-mation and gut barrier compromise that increased transport of gut-derived LPS into the liver through the portal vein,which contributed to the pathology of HSOS.Modulating the gut microbiota,protecting the intestinal barrier,and sup-pressing intestinal inflammation with prebiotics or antibiot-ics might be a useful pharmacologic intervention in HSOS.Li Xiao Lilin Hu Huikuan Chu Liuying Chen Jingjing Yan Weijun Wang Xiaoqian Yang Qingjing Zhu Fan Du Yuhu Song Peng Chen Xiaohua Hou Ling Yang 2022Journal of Clinical and Translational Hepatology2022,10,6:2

11Melittin enhanced intracellular trehalose with synergistic membrane stabilization of macromolecular protectants for cell cryopreservation显示文摘Cryopreservation plays an essential role in biobanking and cell therapy,but the physiological toxicity of traditional cryoprotectants such as glycerol and dimethyl sulfoxide(DMSO)has raised safety issues for biomedical applications.Trehalose,a nonreducing disaccharide that accumulates in desiccation-or cold-tolerant organisms,has been considered as a biocompatible cryoprotectant.Herein,a naturally occurring membrane-active cationic peptide,melittin,was utilized to facilitate membraneimpermeable trehalose entry into cells for effective cell cryopreservation.Poly(ethylene glycol)and poly(vinyl pyrrolidone)were applied as macromolecular protectants to improve the stabilization of cell membranes.Upon the optimal protocol,the postthaw recovery of human red blood cells in freezing bags at a hematocrit of~50%could achieve 82.9%with favorable cell morphologies and physiological functions.Furthermore,the cryosurvival of L929 fibroblasts reached 84.3%compared to the conventional method using 10%(v/v)DMSO.In short,this work by using trehalose and melittin provides a biocompatible solvent-free approach for long-term cryostorage of cells.NIU QingJing GAO ShuHui ZHU KongYing REN LiXia YUAN XiaoYan 2024Science China(Technological Sciences)2024,67,4:0

13The protective effects of a D-tetra-peptide hydrogel adjuvant vaccine against H7N9 influenza virus in mice显示文摘Repeated waves of influenza virus H7N9 epidemics after 2013 have caused severe influenza in humans,with mortality reaching approximately 40%–50%.To prevent possible pandemics,the development of highly effective vaccines against influenza virus H7N9 is highly desired.In the present study,by taking advantage of the D-tetra-peptide adjuvant(G^(D)F^(D)F^(D)Y),we reported a simple method to prepare H7N9 vaccines.Naproxen(Npx),with good anti inflammatory and broad anti-viral effects,was employed as an N-terminal capping group to construct a hydrogel precursor,Npx-G^(D)F^(D)F^(D)Y.The hydrogel adjuvant was prepared using a routine heating cooling protocol and the final vaccine was ready after mixing with the split A/Zhejiang/DTID-ZJU01/2013(H7N9)antigen by vortexing.Compared with the traditional Al(OH)_(3) adjuvant vaccine and the split vaccine,our hydrogel adjuvant vaccine showed the best preventive effects against H7N9 infection.A mechanistic study illustrated that higher antibody responses and variations in cytokine expression might account for its increased protective effects.Our strategy demonstrated the advantages of a peptide hydrogel adjuvant in the application of vaccines against H7N9 and demonstrated its potential application in vaccines against emerging threats from other viruses.Keda Chen Xiaoxin Wu Qingjing Wang Ying Wang Haiyan Zhang Shuai Zhao Chaonan Li Zhiwen Hu Zhimou Yang Lanjuan Li 2023Chinese Chemical Letters2023,34,1:0
14mTORC1 induces plasma membrane depolarization and promotes preosteoblast senescence by regulating the sodium channel Scn1a显示文摘Senescence impairs preosteoblast expansion and differentiation into functional osteoblasts,blunts their responses to bone formation-stimulating factors and stimulates their secretion of osteoclast-activating factors.Due to these adverse effects,preosteoblast senescence is a crucial target for the treatment of age-related bone loss;however,the underlying mechanism remains unclear.We found that mTORC1 accelerated preosteoblast senescence in vitro and in a mouse model.Mechanistically,mTORC1 induced a change in the membrane potential from polarization to depolarization,thus promoting cell senescence by increasing Ca^(2+)influx and activating downstream NFAT/ATF3/p53 signaling.We further identified the sodium channel Scn1a as a mediator of membrane depolarization in senescent preosteoblasts.Scn1a expression was found to be positively regulated by mTORC1 upstream of C/EBPα,whereas its permeability to Na^(+)was found to be gated by protein kinase A(PKA)-induced phosphorylation.Prosenescent stresses increased the permeability of Scn1a to Na^(+)by suppressing PKA activity and induced depolarization in preosteoblasts.Together,our findings identify a novel pathway involving mTORC1,Scn1a expression and gating,plasma membrane depolarization,increased Ca^(2+)influx and NFAT/ATF3/p53 signaling in the regulation of preosteoblast senescence.Pharmaceutical studies of the related pathways and agents might lead to novel potential treatments for agerelated bone loss.Ajuan Chen Jian Jin Shasha Cheng Zezheng Liu Cheng Yang Qingjing Chen Wenquan Liang Kai Li Dawei Kang Zhicong Ouyang Chenfeng Yao Xiaochun Bai Qingchu Li Dadi Jin Bin Huang 2022Bone Research2022,10,2:0
15Mixed PEGylated surfactant modifying system decrease the accelerated blood clearance phenomenon of nanoemulsions in rats显示文摘The accelerated blood clearance(ABC) phenomenon which is induced by repeated injection of poly(ethylene glycol)(PEG)-coated colloidal carriers gives clinical challenge to the promising drug delivery system. It is necessary to decrease this unexpected immunological response.A novel 4-arm poly(ethylene glycol-5000)4-cholesteryl methyl amide(4-arm PEG5000-CHMA)has been synthesized. The structure of 4-arm PEG5000-CHMA was confirmed by IR and 1H-NMR spectrum. The pharmacokinetics of the tocopheryl nicotinate(TN)-loaded nanoemulsions modified with 4-arm PEG5000-CHMA or/and 1, 2-distearoyl-Sn-glycero-3-phosphoethanolamine-n-[methoxy(poly-ethyleneglycol)-2000](mPEG2000-DSPE) have been studied. Furthermore, the ABC phenomenon has been detailed investigated in rats by TN-loaded nanoemulsions modified with 4-arm PEG5000-CHMA and mPEG2000-DSPE(CPNE). The plasma levels of TN and anti-PEG IgM antibody were determined by HPLC and ELISA, respectively.The circulation time of the CPNEs were comparable to the mPEG2000-DSPE coated nanoemulsions. Moreover, the ABC phenomenon can be decreased by CPNEs. 16Influence ofβ-elemene on the secretion of angiotensin II and expression of AT1R in hepatic stellate cells显示文摘This study aims to investigate the influence ofβ-elemene on the secretion of angiotensin II(ANG II)and the expression of angiotensin receptor type 1(AT1R)in hepatic stellate cells(HSCs).In vitro,HSC-T6 were cultured for 24 hours and then treated with different doses ofβ-elemene(2.5,5 and 10 mg/L).A control group was also set up.The secretion of ANG II in the supernatant was detected by radioimmunoassay.The mRNA expression of AT1R at 4,12 and 24 h after treatment was detected by reverse transcription-polymerase chain reaction(RT-PCR),respectively.The protein expression of AT1R was detected by western blot.At the 4th h,the ANG II secretion in the supernatant was significantly inhibited by 10 mg/Lβ-elemene compared with the control group(P<0.05),while 5.0 mg/L and 2.5 mg/Lβ-elemene had no inhibitory effect on the secretion of ANG II(P>0.05).At the time point of the 12th h,the secretion of ANG II in the supernatant treated with 10 mg/L and 5.0 mg/Lβ-elemene was significantly lower than the control(P<0.01,P<0.05).Following the treatment with 5.0 mg/L and 2.5 mg/Lβ-elemene for 24 h,significant inhibition of ANG II secretion was observed(P<0.05),but 10 mg/Lβ-elemene had no such effect.β-elemene significantly reduced the amount of AT1R mRNA in HSCs after the treatment for 4,12,and 24 h in a dose-dependent manner.The expression of AT1R protein also decreased after the treatment withβ-elemene for 24 h.β-elemene can inhibit the secretion of ANG II and the gene and protein expression of AT1R,which may be the mechanism by whichβ-elemene prevents the progress of hepaticfibrosis.Ling YANG Rui ZHU Qingjing ZHU Dan DAN Jin YE Keshu XU Xiaohua HOU 2009Frontiers of Medicine2009,3,1:0

18Distribution of chromophytic phytoplankton in the Western Subarctic Gyre of Pacific Ocean revealed by morphological observation and rbc L gene sequences显示文摘Western Subarctic Gyre(WSG),which possesses distinctive differences in oceanographic and biogeochemical processes,is situated in the northwest subarctic Pacific.The WSG is characterized by high nutrient and low chlorophyll.We carried out a field investigation in this area in summer 2020 and performed microscopic observation,cytometric counting,and RuBisCO large subunit(rbc L)gene analysis to understand the community structure and spatial distribution of chromophytic phytoplankton better.Microscopic method revealed that total phytoplankton(>10μm,including Bacillariophyta,Dinoflagellata,Ochrophyta,and Chlorophyta)abundances ranged(0.6×10^(3))-(167.4×10^(3))cells/L with an increasing trend from south to north.Dinoflagellates and Pennatae diatoms dominated the phytoplankton assemblages in the southern and northern stations,respectively.Major chromophytic phytoplankton groups derived from rbc L genes included Haptophyta,Ochrophyta,Bacillariophyta,as well as rarely occurring groups,such as Xanthophyta,Cyanobacteria,Dinoflagellata,Rhodophyta,and Cryptophyta.At the phylum level,Haptophyta was the most abundant phylum,accounting for approximately 30.80%of the total obtained operational taxonomic units in all samples.Ochrophyta and Bacillariophyta were the second and third most abundant phylum,and their relative abundance was 20.26% and 19.60%,respectively.Further,redundancy analysis showed that high proportion of diatoms(e.g.,microscopic and rbc L methods)was positively correlated with nutrients(e.g.,dissolved inorganic nitrogen(DIN),dissolved inorganic phosphorous,and dissolved silicate(DSi))and negatively correlated with temperature and salinity.The proportion of Ochrophyta,Rhodophyta,and Cyanobateria identified by rbc L genes was positively correlated with salinity and temperature and showed negative correlation to nutrients.This work is the first molecular study of phytoplankton accomplished in the WSG,and our results show some discrepancies between morphological observation and rbc L gene sequences,which highlight the necessity of combining the microscopic and molecular methods to reveal the diversity of phytoplankton in marine environment.Tao JIANG Xiaohan QIN Guannan WU Huaxian ZHAO Xiaotao YU Xueyan XIAO Wenjing LIU Qingjing HU Jufa CHEN Nan LI 2023Journal of Oceanology and Limnology2023,41,6:0
