| 1 | Regional seismic-damage prediction of buildings under mainshock-aftershock sequence显示文摘Strong aftershocks generally occur following a significant earthquake.Aftershocks further damage buildings weakened by mainshocks.Thus,the accurate and efficient prediction of aftershock-induced damage to buildings on a regional scale is crucial for decision making for post-earthquake rescue and emergency response.A framework to predict regional seismic damage of buildings under a mainshock-aftershock(MS-AS)sequence is proposed in this study based on city-scale nonlinear time-history analysis(THA).Specifically,an MS-AS sequence-generation method is proposed to generate a potential MS-AS sequence that can account for the amplification,spectrum,duration,magnitude,and site condition of a target area.Moreover,city-scale nonlinear THA is adopted to predict building seismic damage subjected to MS-AS sequences.The accuracy and reliability of city-scale nonlinear THA for an MS-AS sequence are validated by as-recorded seismic responses of buildings and simulation results in published literature.The town of Longtoushan,which was damaged during the Ludian earthquake,is used as a case study to illustrate the detailed procedure and advantages of the proposed framework.The primary conclusions are as follows.(1)Regional seismic damage of buildings under an MS-AS sequence can be predicted reasonably and accurately by city-scale nonlinear THA.(2)An MS-AS sequence can be generated reasonably by the proposed MS-AS sequencegeneration method.(3)Regional seismic damage of buildings under different MS-AS scenarios can be provided efficiently by the proposed framework,which in turn can provide a useful reference for earthquake emergency response and scientific decision making for earthquake disaster relief. | Xinzheng LU Qingle CHENG Zhen XU Chen XIONG | 2021 | Frontiers of Engineering Management2021,8,1: | 3 |
| 2 | The Significance of CXCR4 Expression for the Prediction of Lymph Node Metastasis in Breast Cancer Patients显示文摘OBJECTIVE The chemokine receptor(CXCR4)CXC chemokine receptor 4)plays an important role in cancer metastasis.We therefore studied differential expression of the CXCR4,as well as that of the biomarker HER2,so as to evaluate whether these biomarkers can be used to predict axillary lymph node metastasis in breast cancer patients. METHODS Immunohistochemistry was used to evaluate the CXCR4 and HER2 expressions and to examine the paraffin sections of the breast cancers at various stages.Positive lymph node expression was found in 80 of the cases,and in 7 there was negative expression. RESULTS Compared to the cases with negative lymph nodes, there was a high expression of CXCR4(26.3% vs.14.3%,P=0.013), and an over-expression of HER2(28.8% vs.14.3%,P=0.011). Moreover,there was a direct correlation between the CXCR4 and HER2 expressions and the tumor staging(P=0.000)and lymph node metastasis(P=0.032).When the two biomarkers,i.e.CXCR4 and HER2,were concurrently labeled,a high expression of one of the biomarkers could be seen in the cases with positive lymph nodes(51.3% vs.28.6%,P<0.003). | 3 | Construction of robust coupling interface between MoS2 and nitrogen doped graphene for high performance sodium ion batteries显示文摘As a layered inorganic material,MoS2 has recently attracted intensive attention as anode for sodium ion batteries(SIBs).However,this anode is plagued with low electronic conductivity,serious volume expansion and sluggish kinetics,resulting in capacity fading and poor rate performance.Herein,we develop an interface engineering strategy to substantially enhance the sodium storage performance of MoS2 by incorporating layered MoS2 into three dimensional N-doped graphene scaffold.The strong coupling-interface between MoS2 and N-doped graphene scaffold can not only stabilize the MoS2 structure during sodium insertion/extraction processes,but also provide plenty of anchor sites for additional surface sodium storage.The 3D MoS2@N-doped graphene composite as anode for SIBs performs an outstanding specific capacity of 667.3 mA h g^-1 at 0.2 A g^-1,a prolonged stability with a capacity retention of 94.4%after 140cycles and excellent rate capability of 445 mA h g^-1 even at a high rate of 10 A g^-1.We combined experiment and theoretical simulation to further disclose the interaction between MoS2 and N-doped graphene,adsorption and diffusion of sodium on the composite and the corresponding sodium storage mechanism.This study opens a new door to develop high performance SIBs by introducing the interface engineering technique. | Yun Qiao Jiawei Wu Xiaoguang Cheng Yudong Pang Zhansheng Lu Xiangdong Lou Qingling Li Jin Zhao Shuting Yang Yang Liu | 2020 | Journal of Energy Chemistry2020,29,9: | 3 |
| 4 | Purchase willingness of new energy vehicles: A case study in Jinan City of China显示文摘Speeding up the promotion of new energy vehicles is an important measure to optimize the energy structure,promote energy conservation and emission reduction,and develop the economy sustainability.The research uses a questionnaire survey to analyze the residents’willingness to purchase new energy vehicles in Jinan Gty of China,and utilizes the binomial logistic regression model and Global Moran's I to explain the impact of three factors(including responden ts'personal characteristics and subjective cognition,products,and social environment)on the purchase willingness of new energy vehicles.According to the survey,75.12%of the responden ts consider buying new energy vehicles in the future,but only 11.66%of the respondents know new energy vehicles well.It can be seen that the respondents in Jinan City generally have an insufficient understanding of new energy vehicles.It may lead to a decline in residents’trust in new energy vehicles,which will in turm affect their purchase willingness.Based on the survey,we find that women who live far from the city center enjoy high incomes and have a low-carbon awareness,generally exhibit a higher willingness to purchase new energy vehicles.Spatial distribution of the purchase willingness has certain aggregation characteristics,showing a positive spatial correlation pattern.Purchase willingness has a certain positive diffusion effect in space,and areas with a higher purchase willingness have a positive driving effect on their surrounding regions.Spatial distribution of the purchase willingness can be used as one of the breakthroughs in promoting new energy vehicles.In addition,safety,price,after-sales service,and infrastruicture of new energy vehicles are important determinants of people's purchase willingness.Among the types of subsidies,financial subsidy is most effective on the residents’purchase wilingness.Our research provides an impor tant information for the promotion of new energy vehicles in the region. | Xueqing Tian Qingling Zhang Yuzhu Chi Yu Cheng | 2021 | Regional Sustainability2021,2,1: | 2 |
